The study conducted in the academic year (2018). Questionnaire and interviews were used for collecting data. The study sample were asked to express their attitudes towards the usage of mobile phone applications in education. All data were analyzed with the SPSS personal computer program. Appropriate statistics for description (frequencies, percentage, means, standard deviations, and Chi2) were used. The results showed that calculated Chi2 value is bigger than the value of Chi2 derived from statistical tables. Thus, the null hypotheses (H0) rejected. Rejection of the null hypotheses indicates that the difference is significant in favor of the usage of mobile phone applications in the educational process.

The faculty staff members were asked to express their attitudes towards the use of modern teaching technologies in educational processes. A questionnaire was used for collecting data. The data analyzed with SPSS personal computer program. Appropriate statistics for description (frequencies, percentage, means, standard deviations, T-Test and ANOVA Test) were used. The results showed that: There were significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between faculty staff responses on the impact of the use of modern teaching technologies in the educational process in favor of male participants. Thus, the null hypothesis (H0: 1=2) was rejected; There were significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the study participants attitudes towards the use of modern teaching technologies in the educational process, related to experience variable. Thus, The null hypothesis was rejected; There were no significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the study participants attitudes towards the use of modern teaching technologies in the educational process, related to computer training courses. Thus, the null hypothesis (H0) was accepted. The researcher concluded that faculty staff members have a positive attitude towards the use of modern teaching technologies in the educational process. \
The study aimed to identify the nature of the relationship between dialogue culture of college of education students at Najran University and their psychological compatibility. In addition, it aimed to define the impact of age variable on this culture. It also tried to explore the possibility of predicting the level of these students’ psychological compatibility by variables of dialogue culture. The study instruments involved a scale for measuring university students’ dialogue culture prepared by the researchers in addition to a test for psychological compatibility prepared by Shoqir (2003). The sample consisted of all students enrolled in “Learning Disabilities” course in the second semester of the academic year 2014/2015. Findings showed a significant positive correlation (α=0.01) between students’ dialogue culture and all dimensions of their psychological compatibility. There were differences between 19-year old students group and 22-year old students group in favor of the latest due to cognitive, affectional and behavioral levels of dialogue culture. Findings also indicated that the three dimensions of dialogue culture (cognitive, affectional and behavioral) could predict the psychological compatibility levels of students of “Learning Disabilities” course at the college of education.

Causative verbs are used to indicate that one person causes a second person to do something for the first person. The causative verbs are : have, get, make (Croft, W. 2003:34) . The present study aims at presenting the syntactic and semantic characteristics of causative verbs and investigating empirically the extent to which Iraqi EFL university learners’ master these characteristics. In addition, it aims at investigating the extent to which they can recognize and use causative verbs correctly; and their ability to differentiate the causative verbs from another types of verbs. A test has been conducted to a sample of 100 Iraqi EFL university learners at their third and fourth year in the Department of English at the College of Education, University of Wasit during the academic year 2013-2014. The test has been exposed to jury members to measure its face validity. Statistical means have been applied to the results of the test to investigate the perception and use of the college students in causative verbs. They have yielded certain conclusions that Iraqi EFL university learners at the third and fourth year face difficulties in perceiving and using the causative verbs. The rate of their correct responses in the whole test, (1291, 28.205%), is lower than their incorrect ones (3709, 71.795%). At the production level, the subjects’ incorrect responses (2434, 79.84%) reveal that they are unable to use causative verbs correctly whether syntactically or semantically. The difference in the rate of the incorrect responses of the perception (1275, 63.75%) and the use levels show that the learners of the third - fourth year face more difficulty at the use level than that at the perception one.

The article presents the results of an empirical study of social representations about school and learning among the main participants of the modern school educational process: students themselves, their teachers and parents. The study, conducted in the 2018/2019 academic year, involved 480 teenagers, pupils of 5—11 classes of several Moscow secondary schools, 145 of their parents (mostly mothers) and 147 teachers (of which also the majority are women). To identify social representations, respondents were asked to write five consecutive associations for the following words: "school" (for teenagers), "school of my childhood" and "modern school" (for teachers and parents), "learning" and "Unified state exam (USE)" (for all groups of participants). In the logic of the theory of "core and periphery" obtained for each of the groups of participants of the study associations were subjected to prototypical analysis (according to P.Verges).We tested the hypothesis on the difference in social representations about school and learning in different groups of participants of the educational process.Social representations were indeed different in the studied groups when it came to school and learning, but they turned out to be quite close when the associations to the word "Unified state exam (USE)" were analyzed: apart from the frequently occurring ascertaining (and in this sense emotionally neutral) association "test", the rest had a negative emotional, evaluative connotation.
