In the context of the vigorous development of big data and network communication technologies, the universality of personal data information processing, the openness of concept definitions, and the potential risks in practice have led to theoretical and practical changes in the definition of personal data information. With the widespread use of big data technology in criminal investigations, the theoretical and practical activities of big data investigation have gradually formed. Big data investigation activities are often accompanied by infringements on citizens' personal data and other legitimate rights and interests. At present, the traditional model of personal data information protection cannot restrict the code of conduct in big data investigation activities. For this reason, it is necessary to introduce a comprehensive governance model, which mainly includes relative control of individuals, balance of multiple interests and dynamic risk adjustment. Etc., and focus on the transformation of the legal protection model of personal information.

The Diary of a Good Neighbor is one of a series of works concerning age problems in the contemporary western society written by the Nobel laureate Doris Lessing. Through the record of the last days of Maudie Fowler, a ninety-two-year-old lower-class woman by a middle-aged professional Jane Somers, Lessing questions the modern social care system and criticizes the hidden social prejudice against the elderly. Lessing observes the defect of the modern social care institutions in oppressing individual choice and excluding aged people, and points out the professional service they provide cannot really comfort the aged individuals, which constructs a dilemma for both the institutions and the aged group. Different from the ageist neglect of the aged group, Lessing gives a detailed exhibition of both Maudie’s daily life and her inner world, which builds a personal connection between the old and the young and draws this isolated group close to the public. Lessing also explores the taboo topic of old age, sickness and death and gives a full display of Maudie’s tenacious wrestling with death, which shows the sublime of human life and challenges the ageist view of the co-decaying of spirit and body.

This paper provided likely linkage between poverty and reef health status in Lagonoy Gulf. It showed that fishers are poor as reflected by their weekly income ranging from PhP 2,500.00 to <500.00 averaging PhP 1,214.00 which is way below the PhP 3,596 week-1 poverty threshold for Bicol Region. Population density in coastal municipalities is highest in Albay with 512 ind. km-2 and least in Catanduanes with 325 ind. km-2. Fishers are relatively ageing with mean age of 48 years and average fishing experience of 29 years. Majority only reached or finished primary level, and only 6% reached college. Five out of six do not own boat and gears, showing financial incapacity. Hook and lines were used by 66% of the fishers while, nets comprised 32%. Living coral cover declined from 1993 to 2018 by almost 25%.  High dependence to coastal resources, high demand for seafood, destructive gears, lack of supplemental sources of income, low educational background, lack of skills, low income are identified contributory factors to habitat degradation. With the declining reef health and fish catch, fishers that are living below poverty threshold are more likely to become poorer because the reef’s capacity to provide goods and services is lost.

Unnatural narrative becomes a popular theory in literary criticism. In 2016, No. 4 issue of Style is a special issue on Brian Richardson’s Target Essay “Unnatural Narrative Theory”. Narratologists such as Marie-Laure Ryan, Shen Dan, James Phelan have responded actively to this new paradigm in narrative theory. In spite of its popularity, unnatural narrative remains controversial because of its diversified definitions, the hard-to-identified manifestations of unnaturalness, and its various interpretive strategies. Accordingly, this paper tries to comb the existing literature and provide a systematic review on the definitions, the manifestations, and the interpretive strategies of unnatural narrative theory.

This study seeks to examine the psychometric properties, namely the validity and reliability as well as the overall psychometric quality of the WISC-IV. For this purpose, a systematic review of the literature was carried out. Data analysis revealed that the fourth edition of the Wechsler scale for children is more sophisticated in form and content, in line with the modern approaches and familiar models of intelligence and the measurement of mental abilities. However, research in the field of psychometric quality of this test does not give a clear picture of its interpretive power or its contribution to diagnostic evaluation. Despite its relative utilization in differential diagnostic and diagnostic assessment procedures, there is a strong criticism regarding its structural validity and the models on the basis of which it is explained, as well as the dominant structure emerging from WISC-IV. Over time, the four-factor model seems to be abandoned and its analysis oriented towards a five-factor model, in line with the CHC theory of intelligence and cognitive abilities. All in all, this study enriches our theoretical and practical understanding about the WISC-IV giving rise to other studies in this field.

Even under constant returns to scale technology there is a positive profit return if the goods are produced in monopolistic competition. By a two-periods overlapping generations (OLG) model with production in monopolistic competition under constant returns to scale in which the economy grows by technological progress and the older generation consumers receive the profits, we consider the problem of budget deficit. We show that the budget deficit equals the difference between the net savings of the younger generation consumers excluding the profits received in the future and that of the older generation consumers in each of the following cases. Also, the following results will be proved. 1) A budget deficit is necessary to realize full employment with constant price when the economy grows. 2) If the budget deficit exceeds the level necessary and sufficient to maintain full employment in a growing economy with constant price, inflation will occur. A stable budget deficit is necessary to prevent further inflation. 3) If the budget deficit is insufficient to maintain full employment, a recession with involuntary unemployment occurs. We can overcome a recession and restore full employment making a budget deficit larger than the one necessary and sufficient to maintain full employment without a recession. Since we can maintain full employment by constant budget deficits, we should not offset the deficit created for overcoming the recession by budget surpluses.

The purpose of this study is to examine the motivating factors that influence online learning among university students during the Covid-19 pandemic era. Due to sudden transformation from traditional face-to-face learning approach to remotely digital learning, some present studies revealed that students’ motivation in online learning is probably the most important factor that educators can target to improve learning. There are four chosen independent variables in this study which are student’s participation, role of instructors, online learning environment and technical infrastructure affect online learning. This research uses a survey method where 150 questionnaires are distributed online. Then, the collected data are tabulated to analyze the findings and results.

With the closer economic ties between countries and the spread of epidemics such as COVID-19, Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises have a potential international market. The quality of the English translation of pharmaceutical company profiles is of great significance to the development of international market and human health. Compared with 8 Chinese and 8 English pharmaceutical company profiles, there are significant different focuses. Besides the basic information, Chinese pharmaceutical company profiles stress the history and awards of the companies, while English pharmaceutical company profiles are centered on the effective information. The existing C-E translation problems lie in word-for-word translation, lack of logic between sentences or text and redundancy. Guided by adaptation theory, the following conclusions are drawn: on syntax level, when translating, the translator should apply the methods of creative translation, clarify the logical relationship between clauses, adjust the word order of sentences and appropriately add logical conjunctions. On discourse level, the translator can use creative translation— recompose the information of the profiles. Besides, we should emphasize the company’s care for life and health. Only in this way can contextual relations and linguistic structure be adapted. I hope it will be helpful to the English translation of the profiles of Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises.
