Air pollution is one of the main environmental reasons for many diseases in Bulgaria. Plenty of studies indicate that the country is still far from achieving air quality levels that do not pose a risk to people and the environment. The current research is directed toward eight companies in Bulgaria, which are responsible for over 70% of greenhouse gas emissions from fixed installations. The study was conducted during the period of 2016 to 2019. The main hypothesis is that due to the public importance of these companies’ activities, the quantity and quality of non-financial information disclosed by them will be significant. Additionally, it is examined how the required obligation for some companies to publish together with their annual financial statements and non-financial declaration has reflected on the disclosures made by them. The research is conducted on the basis of annual financial statements published by the companies, non-financial declarations, annual activity reports and information contained on their websites.

One of the problems within the reform era in Indonesia is the low quality of madrasa education, both in the process and outcomes. This study aims to determine the performance of the principals of madrasa in the development, implementation of managerial tasks, entrepreneurship development, and supervision of teachers and staff in the South Lampung Regency. This study uses the qualitative descriptive approach. The data has been collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The sources of data are the principals, vice-principals, teachers, and staff. The results of this study indicate that, first, the public madrasah development efforts in South Lampung Regency are carried out through the principals' planning by making annual activity plans at the beginning of each academic year. Second, implementing the managerial duties of the madrasah principal is carried out by making a time schedule. Third, through company visits, entrepreneurship development is carried out through study tours where the students are introduced to produce and market their products. This activity also aims to introduce students to career possibilities according to their aspirations. The supervision of teachers and education staff has been running well, although many teachers are not very good at learning media.

Indonesia has a variety of cultures and traditions that develop in society; one of them is mudik, or the tradition of returning to hometown after a month of fasting during Ramadan to celebrate Eid al-Fitr. This tradition is an example of Indonesia's religious, cultural system related to the migration movement from one area to another. For many people, especially Muslims, mudik (homecoming) is considered an important event. However, since Covid-19 has been occurring globally, the government decided to ban this traditional annual activity, and it causes pros and cons to society. This research is intended to analyze society’s responses toward government regulation about the prohibition of mudik (homecoming) in 2021 due to Covid-19. Researchers used a quantitative descriptive method, namely utilizing data obtained through an online simple random sampling survey conducted on several Muslims and supported by literature studies. The result shows 64% of the respondents decided to follow the government regulation by not returning home this year. Based on the result, the existence of this (Addendum) Circular Letter of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force No.13, 2021 became a preventive way to restrain society from returning home for Eid al-Fitr this year.

The aim of this study was to identify the species and parasitic indices of ticks. A flock of 57 individuals (sheep, goats, cattle and dogs) in southern Algeria was studied from March 2019 to February 2020 during monthly visits. A total of 2544 ticks were collected by examining the entire body of the animal. Two tick species were identified: Hyalomma dromedarii (2430 ticks) and Rhipicephalus sanguineus sensu lato (114 ticks). The first species had annual activity and consisted only of adults, while the second species had spring and summer activity and contained both adults and nymphs. At the annual level, the prevalence of infestation, abundance, and intensity were 38.60%, 44.63 and 115.64 ticks per animal, respectively. At the monthly level there were species specific fluctuations, with a peak in activity in September.

Abstract We provide an anecdote of daytime activity within the northern giant mouse lemur (Mirza zaza), a small threatened primate that has always been considered strictly nocturnal, in the Anabohazo forest of northwestern Madagascar. During the dry season, we witnessed two individual M. zaza travelling separately in the afternoon period of three different days. Our observations indicate that M. zaza may undertake activity that is essential for their survival within both the light and dark periods of a day-cycle, and our findings suggest that the activity cycle of this species may be highly flexible. These observations have important implications to understand the evolution of activity patterns in M. zaza, and these findings warrant future, long term studies to establish the annual activity patterns of M. zaza and to determine whether this species is potentially cathemeral and why.
