One of the conditions for obtaining high-quality pig products is the use of feed additives, which contain all the necessary biologically active substances, eliminating their deficiency in feed and acting as catalysts for metabolic processes in pigs. That is why the aim of the study was to study the effect of feed additive “Sylimevit” on the enzymatic and non-enzymatic parts of the antioxidant system of piglets after weaning. Two groups of piglets were formed – control and experimental, in the amount of 10 individuals in each group, selected on the principle of analogues – age, breed and body weight. During the weaning period, the piglets were kept under the sow in special machines, had constant access to the mother, and from the age of 5 days – free access to concentrated feed. Feeding of animals was carried out in accordance with the norms for a given age of pigs. Prior to the study, a clinical and physiological examination of the piglets was performed. Their general condition and activity when eating food were taken into account. On the 28th day of life, the piglets were weaned from the sow and regrouped from different nests in order to be further maintained during the period of fattening and rearing with a change in the structure of the diet, which served as technological stress for the animals. From the age of 5 days, piglets of all groups were fed pre-starter feed. Piglets of the experimental group, from 21 to 40 days of age, were additionally fed the feed supplement “Sylimevit” at a dose of 100 mg/kg body weight per day. Feeding piglets Silimevit feed enhances their antioxidant status. The use of this feed additive in piglets contributed to the activation of both enzymatic and non-enzymatic parts of the antioxidant defense system of piglets after weaning, as indicated by an increase in blood 35-day-old piglets superoxide dismutase activity by 26.9 % (P < 0.001), catalase – 41.1 % (P < 0.001), glutathione peroxidase – by 52.7 % (P < 0.05), glutathione reductase – by 53.5 % (P < 0.05), the content of reduced glutathione – by 75 % (P < 0.001). This is due to the fact that silimevit contains active substances such as milk thistle and vitamins, which are strong direct-acting antioxidants and directly interact with free radicals and reactive oxygen species.

The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of the feed additive “Butaselmevit-plus” on the state of the antioxidant defense system of piglets during weaning. The experiments were conducted on the basis of the LTD “KOSHET” Mukachevo district of Zakarpattia region. Two groups of piglets were formed – control and experimental, in the amount of 10 individuals in each group, selected on the principle of analogs – age, breed and body weight. Animals were fed according to the norms for this age of pigs. On the 28th day of life, the piglets were weaned from the sow and regrouped from different nests for further maintenance during fattening and rearing with a change in the structure of the diet, which served as technological stress for the animal's body. Piglets of the experimental group, from 21 to 40 days of age, were additionally fed the feed additive “Butaselmevit-plus” at a dose of 100 mg/kg body weight per day. The material for the study was blood, which was taken in the morning before feeding the animals by puncture of the cranial vena cava for 20 days of life (the period before weaning), for 25 days of life (the period before weaning), for 30 days of life (2 days after weaning), for 35 days of life (7 days after weaning), 40 days of life (12 days after weaning). It is proved that feeding piglets feed additive “Butaselmevit-plus” enhanced the antioxidant status of piglets after weaning. It was found that under conditions of technological stress, the use of feed additive “Butaselmevit-plus” in the amount of 100 mg/kg body weight per day improves the antioxidant defense of the body, as evidenced by an increase in blood 35-day-old piglets superoxide dismutase activity by 26.7 % (P < 0.001), catalase – by 39.5 % (P < 0.001), glutathione peroxidase – by 51.7 % (P < 0.05), glutathione reductase – by 52.9 % (P < 0.05), the content of reduced glutathione – at 58.3 % (P < 0.001). These results confirm the effectiveness of the use of milk thistle, methionine, selenium, and vitamins A, E, and D3 in the feed additive “Butaselmevit-plus” to piglets in the period before and after weaning to activate the protective systems of their body.

Experimental studies have shown an increase in productivity, metabolic processes, the effectiveness of the use of nutrients and biologically active substances and the metabolic energy of diets, the health of heifers aged 1–6 months under the conditions of industrial technology of their rearing. Increasing the productivity of heifers is closely related to improving the nutrition system during all periods of rearing with the use of the vitamin complex Vitaminol in diets depending on their age and body weight. The highest effectiveness of rearing young animals has been established when using Vitaminol in doses: 1,3 g/head./day – up to 1 month, 2,4 g/head./day – 2 months, 3,3 g/head./day – 3 months, 4,3 g/head./day – 4 months, 4,8 g/head./day – 5 months and 5,3 g/head./day – at the age of 6 months. Differentiated feeding of optimal doses of feed additives to calves increases the digestibility of dry matter by 1,41–10,8 %, organic matter by 1,6–10,0 %, raw protein by 1,6–6,8 %, raw fat by 1,4–8,7 %, raw fiber by 1,5–3,0 % and nitrogen-free extractive substances by 1,6–6,0 % depending on age and body weight (from 1 to 6 months inclusive). It has a positive effect on the absorption of nitrogen and the use of calcium and phosphorus in the body. The use of Vitaminol in diets of calves contributes to an increase in live weight and average daily gain compared to the control group. In calves up to one month of age (at the dose of 1,3 g/head/day) live weight increased by 6,5 %, the average daily gain by 11,4 %, in 2 months (at the dose of 2,4 g/head/day) these indicators were 2,9 and 2,6 %, respectively, at 3 months (at the dose of 3,3 g/head/day) – 3,4 and 8,2 %, in 4 months (at the dose of 4,3 g/head/day) – 6,7 and 12,8 %, in 5 months (at the dose of 4,8 g/head/day) – 4,4 and 3,6 % and at 6 months (at the dose of 5,3 g/head/day) – 4,3 and 2,7 %, respectively. In order to improve the quality of feeding when rearing calves, more fully realize their genetic potential, increase productivity and use of nutrients in diets and normalize metabolic processes in the body we recommend the optimal doses of the feed additive Vitaminol depending on age (g/head/day): 1,3 – in 1 month, 2,4 – in 2 months, 3,3 – in 3 months, 4,3 – in 4 months, 4,8 – in 5 months, 5,3 – in 6 months. Feed additive Vitaminol enter into the composition of complete feed, wet feed mixtures and feed to calves 1 time per day.

A method of normalizing metabolic processes and increasing the productivity of dairy cows using a complex of biologically active substances has been studied. The experiment was carried out on Holstein cows (n = 12) with a productivity for the previous lactation of 9000 kg of milk. 20 days before calving and within 65 days after the cows of the experimental group received a complex feed supplement (CFS), including the mineral shungite, choline in a "protected" form, the probiotic "Cellobacterin +" and flaxseed cake, in an amount of 200 g per head per day mixed with concentrates. To study metabolic processes in the body of cows (n = 5), at the end of the experiment, blood samples were taken and the main biochemical parameters were determined. To assess the productive qualities, control milking was carried out. An increase in the blood of cows of the experimental group was noted in the concentration of total protein by 2.8%, glucose - by 26.8% (P≤0.01), phospholipids — by 15.2% (P≤0.05), a decrease in urea by 23,6% (P≤0.05), bilirubin - by 23.8% (P≤0.01), ALT activity by 13.11 (P≤0.05), AST — by 14.6% (P≤ 0.05). The use of CFS made it possible to reduce and normalize the activity of enzymes: lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), gamma glutamine transferase (GGT), creatine kinase. An increase in the intensity of metabolic processes and the normalization of indicators characterizing the work of the liver with the use of a complex of biologically active substances of enzymatic-probiotic, antioxidant and lipotropic-hepatoprotective action in the diet led to an increase in milk productivity.

The studies were conducted in pig-breeding complex of the Center for Practical Training of Agricultural Specialists in Mordovia Republic. There were three experimental groups of replacement gilts (10 animals each). The effect of various dosages of Energosil (5.0, 7.5, and 10 mg per kg of body weight) on digestibility, nutrient utilization, and animal growth energy was studied. The most optimal dosage of a new feed additive in their rations was revealed, which constituted 5 mg / kg of the animal live weight. It was established that the animals from the first experimental group, who received silicon-containing feed additives of this amount digested the nutrients of the diet better than their counterparts from the other groups. Compared to the control group, the digestibility of dry matter increased by 3.62% (p<0.05), organic matter by 3.29% (p<0.01), crude protein by 4.09% (p<0.001), fat by 4.30% (p<0.01), cellulose by 3.79% (p<0.01) and nitrogen-free extractives by 2.03% (p>0.05).Replacement gilts of the first experimental group, who were given Energosil in the amount of 5 mg / kg body weight in addition to the basic ration, retained nitrogen in their bodies by 17.1%, calcium by 55.9% and phosphorus by 69.7% more than their counterparts from the control group. It contributed to an increase in body weight of gilts from the first group compared to control counterparts by 10.8%. Increased dosages of Energosil (7.5 and 10 mg / kg body weight) also had a better effect on the growth energy of gilts compared with the control group. The feed additive in the amount of 7.5 mg kg of animal  live weight contributed to an increase in animal weight compared with control counterparts by 6.21 kg or 4.8% (p<0.05), with a third experimental group by 4.4 kg or by 3.4% (p<0.05). When given Energosil in the dosage of 10 mg/kg, the body weight of gilts from the third experimental group was higher by 1.81 kg or 1.4% (p> 0.05) compared with the control counterparts.

The unresolved problem of quail is feed stress and high sensitivity of poultry of this species to feed quality. To eliminate such consequences it is possible with the use of various biologically active feed additives. However, their introduction into the diet automatically raises questions about the quality and safety of the products for the consumer. The purpose of the research is to conduct a veterinary and sanitary assessment of the quality of quail meat for feeding NDC. The purpose of the research is to conduct a veterinary and sanitary assessment of the quality of quail meat for feeding NDC. The object of study were the quails of the Pharaoh breed, at the age of 24 were divided into two groups: experimental and control 30 heads each. The birds were kept in cages with free access to food and water. Quails of the experimental group were added to drinking water feed additive "Nanocerium" at a dose of 8.6 mg per liter of drinking water. Nanocerium feed additive is an aqueous dispersion of NDC with average nanoparticle sizes of 2–7 nm. Antemortem examination of quails of both groups revealed a satisfactory clinical condition of birds. The average weight of the gut carcass of quails of the experimental group was higher by 8.3% compared to the control. Examination of 20 carcasses of quails showed that they can be classified as first class. According to organoleptic parameters, quail meat is of good quality in veterinary and sanitary terms. Microbiological studies of quail meat indicate no effect of NDC in the applied doses on its bacterial contamination. Chemical parameters of meat (pH, aminoammonia nitrogen, volatile fatty acids during storage in the refrigerator) (5 days, t = 4–5 ° C) tended to increase and were within the normal range for fresh product. Tissue in quails of both groups was not detected. The biological value of quail meat in both groups was identical and no toxicity. Tasting evaluation of the broth and meat showed that NDC did not affect the studied taste. The obtained results show that the quails that received the feed additive "Nanocerium" with water according to the indicators of veterinary and sanitary examination are of good quality, which allows to use it in human food without restrictions. The article provides the results of the researches concerning the efficiency of using dry apple pomaces with adding chelate Cuprum and Zink while growing geese. Experimentally was determined the effective level of these additives and researched their influence. It was theoretically and practically grounded the expediency of the use in the mixed fodders for the geese of unconventional forage additions and found out their influence on the indexes of the productivity of geese, content of carotenoids in goose yolks  and  intensity  of goslings growth. Nutrition indicates that dry apple pomaces contain a large number of biologically active substances, in particular carotenoids, phospholipids, and a number of mineral elements, especially Cobalt and Iodine. In addition, in this case, the term «waste» is rather arbitrary. Apple pomaces which contain high amounts of ingredients should be taken as secondary material resources and use for fodder purposes. However, an increase level of raw cellulose of dry apple pomaces (27.79%) something  restrains their addition to the content of mixed fodder for poultry in high doses. However, geese are able to reach the corresponding level of the productivity after high containing of cellulose. However, in an order to promote the ability of poultry to use effectively the nutritives of this plant feed, there was a necessity of application of chelates, that  increase  catalytic functions of the body. It is found that the usage of non-traditional feed additives provides the rise in the process of eggs laying by 18.9%, promote the rise of vitality of goslings and content  of  carotenoids in yolks by 16.8%. The usage of dry apple pomace which is the waste substances of apple juice  production after further drying, in small doses up to 7% is the optimal balance of nutrients. It is also obvious that the micro elements in the form of chelates have got a chemically protected shape, and in such a way they keep increasing the biological availability of the metal. It contributes to maintaining of the content of micro elements in organs and tissues, thus improving  the  intensity of  goslings  by 10.33%.

Enriching the diet of farm animals and poultry by feed additives containing a complex of biologically active substances is necessary to intensify the production of livestock products and improve their quality. Samples of a complex feed additive containing an oil composition of BAS в-carotene, vitamins E and C, liquid rapeseed lecithin and selenium, and a probiotic additive (PA) Cellobacterin in ratios from 1 : 1 to 1 : 5 respectively were studied. It was found that the ratio of the oil composition of BAS : PA Cellobacterin 1 : 3 respectively the amount of probiotic culture Enterococcus faecium 1-35 contained in PA Cellobacterin in the experimental sample reaches a maximum value 6,4 Ч 105 CFU/g. In this case, the distribution of BAS oil composition on the PA surface is uniform. The effectiveness of using a complex additive with a set ratio of components to normalize metabolic processes in animals was determined in in vivo experiments. It is established that introduction in a diet of laboratory rats of the experimental group multicomponent feed additive in an amount of 3 to the basic ration (BR), contaminated with mycotoxins, can achieve compared to the same indicators in animals of the control group who received only the BR, the timing of weight gain on 15-th and 45-th day of the experiment by 6,45 and 33,05 respectively reduction of urea content in blood serum at 58,43. The degree of reduction of alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase in relation to similar indicators of the control group was 18,53 and 29,89 respectively. Therefore, a complex feed additive with the ratio of oil composition of BAS : PA Cellobacterin 1 : 3 has pronounced hepatoprotective and antitoxic properties.

The article presents the results of an experiment to assess the effect of feed additive of humates on the growth rate and survival of different age groups of sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus L., 1758) and the conversion of fish feed for keeping in aquaculture. Based on the analysis of sources of scientific and technical information, it was found that humic drugs have long been used in crop production as growth stimulants and microfertilizers, and in animal husbandry - to normalize metabolism, treatment of digestive diseases and general stimulating effect on the body as a whole. Analysis of data on the use of humates in aquaculture indicated the presence of a positive effect of these compounds on individual cultivation objects. The small amount of information on the use of humates in fish farming has led to the conclusion that this direction of fish farming intensification is still insufficiently studied, and that studies of the impact of humic substances on aquaculture objects are not comprehensive and mainly concern the assessment of individual effects of biologically active action of the compounds on fish. The available information gave grounds to speculate about the prospects for the use of humates in sturgeon farming. To test this assumption, a series of experiments was conducted on the feeding of sterlet feed with the addition of sodium humate. The research was conducted in 2018, 2020 and 2021, in the production conditions of the cage fishery, located on the Kaniv Reservoir. The effect of different concentrations of sodium humate feed additives on one- and two year old sterlet was evaluated. It was found that the addition of sodium humate to fish feed in concentrations of 60, 100, 120 and 200 mg / kg of feed did not significantly affect the growth rate of sterlet. Thus, the advantage of experimental variants over the control for this indicator was insignificant, in the range of 1.0-1.6%. The effect of sodium humate on the survival of this year sterlet, for their cultivation in gardens. At the same time, the best, by 6.7-17.4%, feed conversion with the addition of humates by one- and two-year-old sterlet was noted. According to the results of the experiments, the best result was obtained in the variant using a feed additive of humates at a concentration of 200 mg / kg of feed. It is considered promising to continue the study of the impact of feed additives of humates on the growth and survival of valuable aquaculture objects under different housing conditions, in particular in closed recirculation aquasystems (RAS), as well as finding the optimal concentration of these additives in feed for different species and age groups of fish.
