AbstractWhen viewed from the domain of educational objectives, attitudes and deeds are important factors to be achieved in the learning process. Religious attitude is positive or negative affective level toward an object, like it or not, accept it or reject it, the feeling of pleasure or displeasure. The religious deed refers to religious deeds or practices, or commonly called worship. Islamic students are not only required to know something, but they also must address, live and practice it. Islamic boarding school, as one of Islamic education institutions, acknowledges that the mastery of science and technology in the globalization era is very important, but the development of attitudes and religious deeds are much more important. One of the development efforts that must to be done is by offering a development model of attitudes and religious deeds in Nurul Haq Islamic Boarding School, Kerinci, Jambi.AbstrakBila ditinjau dari domain tujuan pendidikan, sikap dan amal merupakan faktor penting yang ingin dicapai dalam proses pembelajaran. Sikap keagamaan merupakan tingkat afektif yang positif atau nega­tif terhadap suatu objek, suka atau tidak suka, menerima atau menolak, rasa senang atau tidak senang. Amal keagamaan merupakan perbuatan atau praktik keagamaan, atau biasa disebut dengan ibadah. Santri tidak saja dituntut untuk mengetahui sesuatu, tetapi juga harus menyikapi, menghayati serta mengamalkannya. Pesantren sebagai salah satu lembaga pendidikan Islam, penguasaan ilmu pengeta­huan dan teknologi dalam era globalisasi sangat penting, tapi pengembangan sikap dan amal keagamaan jauh lebih penting. Salah satu upaya pengembangan yang harus dilakukan yaitu dengan menawarkan model pengembangan sikap dan amal keagamaan di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Haq Kerinci Jambi.

Islamic Boarding School is a life-oriented Islamic education institution that emphasizes the importance of having a religious attitude and good emotional intelligence in students as a form of motivation that supports good performance and brings the good name of the Islamic boarding school. This study aims to prove how the direct and indirect influence of Religiosity and Emotional Intelligence on performance with motivation as an intervening variable. The sample in this study was the member of the Student Organization of Modern Islamic Boarding School Nurul Hakim Tembung, totaling 47 people. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach using path analysis with multiple linear regression models with SPSS version 20. The results of this study found that religiosity does not affect motivation. Emotional intelligence has a significant effect on motivation. Motivation does not affect performance. Indirectly Religiosity does not affect performance through motivation. Emotional intelligence indirectly does not affect performance through motivation.   Religiosity, Emotional Intelligence, Motivation, Performance.

AbstractThis research is an effort in developing study in Islamic education toward wider area, especially by touching the implementation of Islamic education outside mainstreameducational activities –Madrasah, Islamic Boarding School, and Islamic HigherEducation- When Islamic education is defined as learning process based on islamicvalues, the logic consequence is that the discussion of its actualization should convey thewhole educational process framed by islamic system and values. Majlis ta’lim activityin university-based mosques in Yogyakarta (Sunan Kalijaga Mosque, UGM Mosque,and KH Ahmad Dahlan Mosque in UMY) made by researcher as a research object,because of their part in Islamic education application form and their existance under auniversity as a bases of wide scientific development.

Speaking on integrative thematic issues, it is inseparable from the 2013 curriculum. It is said so because the content or content of lessons in class presentations has been polished into one theme in which there are several subjects that have been integrated and one of them is the integration of Religion with Mathematics . The idea of integration of religious and general values is not a discourse to achieve academic sympathies, but rather an urgent need that must be carried out as a guide to existing education, given that education has been influenced by a strong dualism between the religious sciences and general sciences. In addition, the degradation of ethical values, morals and character of students also makes it a necessity for an institution to continue to teach all students about values without ignoring general lessons. So by presenting the integration of religious subjects and general subjects (mathematics), it is expected that all students have character values in themselves. This suggests that the implementation of Islamic education has a strategic portion in complementing the general education curriculum. That is, the learning process between general education and religion becomes the main process in creating human resources with the insight of science and technology, so that the added values obtained by students with the implementation of Islamic learning which certainly leads to the cultivation of morals, morals, and behavior of participants better students.

Salaf pesantren is an institution that is still strongly bound by old traditions. By inheriting and maintaincontinuity of Islamic tradition developed by scholars from time to time indefinite periodesasinya, has elementswhich include clerics, students, cottage / hostel, mosque, recitals of classical texts / yellow book, applyingthe method bandongan, sorogan, wetonan, principled firmly on Islamic education material. Pesantren Salafurgently need progress in science and technology. Pesantren Salaf there are many who “failed” to preserve itsown leadership weights, weak in preparing a “succession” Kyai guardians comparable with the foregoing, letalone exceeded. Answering the needs of the era, schools Salaf open formal educational institutions. Sensitivitypesantren Salaf against the phenomena that appear in the society is a social concern and reflexive owned evenare characteristic. So that the aspirations of the people making the boarding school received the developmentand advancement of science and technology. The real step taken is establishing formal educational institutionsfrom kindergarten through college. The character of a scholar is asceticism and totality. On the other hand,people still expect the efficacy of the function and role of pesantren Salaf like period once, without knowing thatit is actually what is expected it is experiencing overcast condition and shrinkage. Expenses are given the addedweight and more and more, but the ability to lift a boarding school in general was declining. Source overcastcondition and depreciation mainly boils down to the weight and quality of the “clerics who brought up”. Philosophy is the source of science and technology. The practice of Islamic Education works without being guided by Tarbiyah (Islamic Education) Philosophy, but by the seculer thinking, It develops without orientation and it is hard to compete with others. It’s time the Islamic education pratice to guiding by the Tarbiyah Philosophy, Tarbiyah Theories and Tarbiyah Technology which is structurally and functionally built from Islamic philosophy. As of the basic idea of Islamic philosophy, the essential of Tarbiyah Philosophy is Ma’rifat Quotient wich means the activity for understand and realize the presence of God in whole life, activities of man; that also means the knowledge about God and intimate relationship with Him. The practical of Tarbiyah Philosophy based on Ma’rifat Quotient it both a creative solution for all kind of education problems andalternatif educational model. Based on Ma’rifat Quotient, it can be used to develop boarding school in more effcient way to accelerate qualities learning only 8 years for elementary to senior high school before join to university.Filsafat merupakan sumber ilmu dan teknologi. Sementara praktik PendidikanIslam bergerak tanpa panduan Filsafat Pendidikan Islam (Tarbiyah), tapi dipandu pemikiran sekuler sehingga tumbuh tanpa arah dan sulit bersaing. Karena itu sudah waktunya praktik pendidikan Islam dipandu Filsafat Tarbiyah, Teori Tarbiyah dan Teknologi Tarbiyah yang secara struktural dan fungsional dibangun dari Filsafat Islam. Sesuai gagasan dasar Filsafat Islam, inti-isi Filsafat Tarbiyah ialah kecerdasan makrifat sebagai kemampuan memahami dan menyadari kehadiran Tuhan dalam segala kegiatan hidup manusia sekaligus pengetahuan tentang Tuhan dan kedekatan hubungan dengan-Nya. Praktik tarbiyah berbasis kecerdasan makrifat merupakan solusi kreatif berbagai problem pendidikan Islam sekaligus menawarkan model pendidikan alternatif. Dari sini boarding school dikembangkan bebas dari pemborosan tidak produktif, melainkan model percepatan bermutu, sehingga cukup 8 tahun menyelesaikan pendidikan dasar (SD 4 Th) dan menengah (SLTPSLTA 4 Th) sebelum memasuki jenjang pendidikan tinggi.

This article describes the result of community service in terms of finishing book (khatmil kitab) Abdul Wahab al-Sya'rani’s work, Washiyat al-Mustafa li al-Imam 'Ali Karrama Allah al-Wajhah, among students of the advanced level of Formal Islamic Education (Pendidikan Diniyah Formal Tingkat Ulya) in Nurul Qadim Islamic Boarding school in order to strenghten narrative of the deep understanding of religion (tafaqquh fi al-din). This program is begun from socialization of the scheduled activities to the students from class to class. It has been advanced for eight times of face-to-face teaching-learning process with using large-class-teaching (bandongan) and small-class-teaching (sorogan). Based on the community service-based program of khatmil kitab, students are able to get knowledge, to hope for blessing (tabarrukan), to worship in every  Friday, and to pragmatically fulfill the productive period with giving free snacks during that activity.

Deradicalization has become a priority agenda of Islamic education studies in the last few decades. This study aims to comprehensively understand the efforts to deradicalize Islamic Education conducted by the Annuqayah Islamic boarding school in Madura, East Java, Indonesia. Researchers used qualitative methods with a case study. Data collection was done through in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and observations. The results of this study found ten efforts at deradicalization conducted by Annuqayah Islamic boarding school, i.e. (1) Reactualization of learning resources; (2) Strengthening anti-radicalism; (3) Increasing literacy and discussion skills; (4) Strengthening the spirits of nationalism; (5) Promoting the principle of wasathiyah (moderatism); (6) Applying the theological concept of Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jama’ah (the group who perform the sunnah); (7) Initiating anti-radicalism curriculum; (8) Implementing progressive manhaj; (9) Formulating halaqa (meetings) with ulama; and (10) Empowering friendship and brotherhood. The implications of this research provided considerations in evaluating the curriculum, teaching materials, and teaching and learning process to support the creation of Islamic education institutions that promote peace, non-violence, and rahmatan lil alamin.

This Science and Technology Activities for Communities is to approve sanctions applied in upholding the discipline of language in modern boarding school which fall into the category of punishment or logical consequences, which support can instill a high awareness in students to use language only to be able to enforce it as requested, but more because of the awareness of the importance of this language in the learning process. The method applied in this PKM activity was published in several stages, namely: discussing and enforcing debates on language discipline, socialization programs to modern cottage leaders, seminars on Punishment VS Logic Consequences, followed by workshops on language safety agreements with logical consequences, Preparing relevant punishment for students who commit an offense. In the end, from the implementation of the PKM program, it is hoped that the modern boarding school will no longer use punishment consisting of punishment in the enforcement of language discipline but instead uses logical agreement, so as to increase the awareness and interest of students in learning foreign languages.

The background of this research is the education and development which show and develop about religious attitude as the bridge to internalize Islamic knowledge in the daily life. The character development is needed to every teacher for creating how Islamic education can be the base of life in daily activity.A boarding school with it's background and culture to be place which researcher try to know about their model of religious character for studen and implementation. This research is a qualitative field research by taking background of Muhamamdiyah Boarding School Yogyakarta. This research is a character education approach. Subject of this research such as Directors, teachers, students of Muhammadiyah Boarding School Yogyakarta. The data collecting has done by conducting a sociological dan psychological approach.  Methods of thinking in the analysis of data research is inductive by collecting and combing special words into a unified information. The results show that the character building model used by Muhammadiyah Boarding School Yogyakarta is by using pesantren system and the teaching of Islamic sciences which directly regulate the dynamics of santri to have good religious character such as being kind people, polite, responsible, and diligent to worship.
