AbstractChristian Religious Education Management is carried out in smaller groups. The church is a broader community. Through pastoral care, the implementation of Christian Religious Education is expected to have a real impact on church members. Cell groups are small groups that can be optimized to achieve the goals of Christian Religious Education. This research uses quantitative research methodology with data analysis using the Rating Scale using 87 respondents of GBI Graha Pena members who responded to the statement given. The results showed the respondents understood the management of Christian Religious Education in pastoral care. Still, it needed the encouragement of leaders to make disciples so that they could carry out pastoral care—they need for members for pastoral care and Cell Group members to be more involved in ministry. Students learn to become cell group leaders by doing what they already understand to serve others. AbstrakManajemen Pendidikan Agama Kristen dilaksanakan dalam kelompok yang lebih kecil. Cell group is one of the most basic forms of service that must be developed by the church in helping the congregation it serves so that it becomes more mature and grows in the knowledge of God. In addition to praise, prayer, and worship, teaching is an important thing in the conduct of cell groups. In connection with teaching, the church must prepare teaching materials that are relevant to the needs of cell grup members. The goal is to make cell grup members more interested in participating in cell groups, and to become more mature in God and able to face the challenges of life that they are facing. The research method used is library research. This method collects data and information in the form of documents, data archives and other literature information. This paper is expected to help churches in developing cell group's services so that the church has a strong concept in compiling teaching materials that are relevant to cell group's members. This paper will discuss the nature of cell group, the importance of teaching materials relevant to cell group members, the biblical basis of teaching materials relevant to cell group members, and ends with concepts in compiling teaching materials in cell group.

Kata Kunci: Gereja; Kelompok Sel; Pendidikan Agama Kristen; Revitalisasi AbstractCell groups in the church for children, youth/youth, and parents aim to teach and equip church services so that multiplication occurs. The cell group must begin with serving God, praying, and being in oneness. Cell groups are small groups of no more than 12 people to meet regularly as a means so that each member can study God's word and share life experiences in a close and pleasant brotherly atmosphere to grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. There is a need for cell group activities in the church because worship held on Sundays, generally will not be able to meet these needs because Sunday worship is only one-way communication. Therefore, the author in this article aims to explain how the principle of cell groups as a revitalization of Christian religious education in the church to every member of the congregation. The result of this research is that cell groups can be a powerful method for the church to achieve the perfection of the saints in God's work/service (Eph. 4:13). Keywords: Church; Cell Groups; Christian education; Revitalization

Purpose It is known that people who stutter (PWS) benefit from self-help experiences, such as attending support groups or conferences. However, limited research has been done to explore the listening of stuttering-related podcasts as a form of self-help for PWS. This study seeks to understand the reasons why PWS listen to stuttering-related podcasts and provide descriptions of their listening experiences. Method Thirty-three PWS who have listened to stuttering-related podcasts were recruited to participate in an online survey that included multiple-choice and open-ended questions. Responses were analyzed and grouped into descriptive themes. Results Participants reported listening to stuttering-related podcasts as a way to gain information and perspective. They also reported experiences that fit themes of empowerment and camaraderie, as a result of listening. Conclusions Stuttering-related podcasts seem to be a positive self-help tool for PWS. Stuttering support group leaders and/or speech-language pathologists may consider introducing their group members or clients who stutter to this type of audio-based self-help experience.

This study tested whether firing rate and spike shape could be used to distinguish projection cells from interneurons in extracellular recordings of basolateral amygdala (BLA) neurons. To this end, we recorded BLA neurons in isoflurane-anesthetized animals with tungsten microelectrodes. Projection cells were identified by antidromic activation from cortical projection sites of the BLA. Although most projection cells fired spontaneously at low rates (<1 Hz), an important subset fired at higher rates (up to 6.8 Hz). In fact, the distribution of firing rates in projection cells and unidentified BLA neurons overlapped extensively, even though the latter cell group presumably contains a higher proportion of interneurons. The only difference between the two distributions was a small subset (5.1%) of unidentified neurons with unusually high firing rates (9–16 Hz). Similarly, distributions of spike durations in both cell groups were indistinguishable, although most of the fast-firing neurons had spike durations at the low end of the distribution. However, we observed that spike durations depended on the exact position of the electrode with respect to the recorded cell, varying by as much as 0.7 ms. Thus neither firing rate nor spike waveform allowed for unequivocal separation of projection cells from interneurons. Nevertheless, we propose the use of two firing rate cutoffs to obtain relatively pure samples of projection cells and interneurons: ≤1 Hz for projection cells and ≥7 Hz for fast-spiking interneurons. Supplemented with spike-duration cutoffs of ≥0.7 ms for projection cells and ≤0.5 ms for interneurons, this approach should keep instances of misclassifications to a minimum.

Abstract Aims: The aim of this study was to investigate the cellular binding site of human KDN (2-keto-3-deoxy-D-glycero-D-galacto-nononic acid). The KDN molecule is a member of the sialic acid family, and its expression increases in cancer cells. Although KDN has been shown to bind to GM3 (Monosialodihexosyl Ganglioside) in trout sperm. Methods and Results: Prostate cancer cell line (DU145) was used in this study. Each experimental group was divided into 3 groups: control, GCS (Glucosylceramide synthase) enzyme inhibitor Genz-123346 treated, and GM3 synthesis inhibitor Triptolide treated. Each group was stained using the immunocytochemical method for GM3, GD3 (Disialosyllactosylceramide) and KDN. The FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy) analysis was performed to elucidate the cellular changes upon treatment. The non-treated number 1 cell group stained positive with all of GM3, GD3 and KDN, the GCS enzyme blocked with Genz-123346 number 2 cell groups stained positive with only KDN. Furthermore, GD3 Synthase inhibitor Triptolide treated number 3 cell group stained positive with GM3 and KDN. Measurements with FTIR showed apoptotic features with Triptolide while Genz-123346 had no negative effect on the cell viability. The decrease in sugar constructions was revealed and the results that we obtained with staining were reinforced. Conclusions: Determining the location of bounded KDN is important in selecting new targets for cancer treatment researches. It has been shown that KDN is not inhibited by both GM3 inhibition and GD3 inhibition, and thus, KDN might also bind to different places, be specific, and not only attached to any of gangliosides of the GM or GD series.

The governance of a particular educational philosophy is indispensable for any developed nation in the sense of ruling and governing over its current and future political sociology. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the relationships between mathematics teachers' applied instructional styles and their identified educational philosophical backgrounds. The study was conducted on 124 math teachers working in secondary schools during the 2016-2017 education years. This study aims to use a quantitative research method through the "Philosophical Preference Rating Scale" and the "Teaching Style Scale". The evidence indicates that teachers prefer personal model the most and authoritative teaching style the least. However, it is also determined that these teachers have predominantly experimentalist philosophical backgrounds. The least preferred philosophical approach is the existentialist understanding. In addition, teachers are able to predict their teaching styles, especially from idealistic, realistic, and perennial philosophical points. These indications inform us further on how and why the means of education system has remained much the same while education policies have been reformed many times throughout the recent years in Turkey.

Purpose This study aims to investigate the relationship between leader group prototypicality and intergroup conflict, as well as its mechanisms and contextual factors using the social identity theory. Design/methodology/approach The research model was empirically tested using multi-phase, multi-source and multilevel survey data in China. The final sample consisted of 75 group leaders and 231 group members. Multilevel structural equation modelling and a Monte Carlo simulation were used for hypothesis testing. Findings The results showed that leader group prototypicality would engender intergroup conflict via intergroup distinctiveness. Further, leaders’ benchmarking behaviour moderated this indirect effect. In particular, leader group prototypicality resulted in higher intergroup distinctiveness and intergroup conflict, only when the leaders’ benchmarking behaviour was higher rather than lower. Originality/value First, this study addresses the question of whether leader group prototypicality would lead to intergroup conflict to provide theoretical and empirical insights to supplement extant literature. Second, the study advances the understanding of mechanisms (intergroup distinctiveness) and the consequences (intergroup conflict) of leader group prototypicality in an intergroup context. Third, the study shows that leaders’ benchmarking behaviour moderates the effect of leader group prototypicality on intergroup conflict through intergroup distinctiveness. As such, the findings are of value to future management practice by offering precise, practical interventions to manage the intergroup conflict caused by leader group prototypicality.

Abstract Interleukin (IL)-10 is a highly important anti-inflammatory cytokine in the immune system. CD1dhi and CD5+ B cells are both traditionally defined IL-10-secreting B cells. In recent years, a B cell group with combined markers of CD1dhi and CD5+ has been widely studied as it has been reported to suppress autoimmunity in mouse models of autoimmune diseases through IL-10 mechanisms. From the perspective of origination, CD1dhi and CD5+ B cells are developed from different B cell lineages. Whether the regulatory capacity of these 2 B cell groups is consistent with their ability to secrete IL-10 has not been determined. In this study, we generated IL-10 knockout NOD.H-2h4 mice to investigate the function of endogenous IL-10 in autoimmune thyroiditis and conducted adoptive transfer experiments to explore the respective roles of CD5+ and CD1dhi B cells. In our results, the IL-10–/– NOD.H-2h4 mice developed thyroiditis, similar to wild-type NOD.H-2h4 mice. The CD5+ B cells were more capable of secreting IL-10 than CD1dhi B cells in flow cytometric analysis, but the CD1dhi B cells showed more suppressive effects on thyroiditis development and autoantibody production, as well as Th17 cell response. In conclusion, endogenous IL-10 does not play an important role in autoimmune thyroiditis. CD1dhi B cells may play regulatory roles through mechanisms other than secreting IL-10.
