Regemuk Village has the potential to be developed into a new tourist destination village. The village which is located along the coastline of Deli Serdang Regency is geographically the closest village to Medan City and the location is adjacent to Kuala Namu Airport. One of the advantages of this village is the presence of a stretch of mangrove forest which is still quite good along the 7 km coastline. The development of the village into one of the beach tourism destinations has been a long-term discourse, but until now it has not been implemented. To realize this, it is necessary to explore the development of supporting facilities in order to initiate the development of the village into a tourist destination mangrove tourism area. Seeing this reality, the USU PPM Implementation Team through the Professor Serves Program Scheme helped community problems by developing mangrove forest areas and providing supporting facilities, namely beach tourism park umbrellas. The existence of this facility is expected to help increase the carrying capacity of this newly formed tourist site. This program will encourage the spirit of the realization of mangrove tourism areas and be able to produce other downstream tourism products.

This journal is essential for social, economic, and government in the Meat Village. It is about a potentially marine tourism destination, located in Meat Village, Tampahan District, Toba Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province. As one of the tourism destinations, this village needs to be developed, especially water transportation, which is supported by Lake Toba's natural resources. But it has been replaced by land and air transportation. On the other hand, water transportation has its privilege, namely giving a sense of being united with nature and listening to the gentle sound of water, which cannot be felt if using land or air transportation. Therefore, it requires a passenger port to facilitate tourists in accessing this tourism village through water transportation. This port consists of a passenger terminal that accommodates passengers' departure and arrival. The method used in site selection is done through discussion of primary data, namely data sources that directly provide data to data collectors and secondary data, that is, data that does not directly provide data to researchers, through other people or analyzed documents and concluded. The result of the methodology used is, this passenger terminal needs the Neo Vernacular Architecture approach for the design. Because the village has aspects of the past, such as Batak Toba culture and mythology that need to be preserved and introduced to the present as long-term projections for the future. This is useful to make the building becomes part of the Meat Village community.

Therefore, it requires significant effort to identify the determinant factors of space settings that affect spending rates in Baron Beach. The research method used is mix method with the data collection technique used Behavioral Mapping that consist of Place Centered Mapping, Person Centered Mapping, and Time Budget. The conclusion of this research is the space setting of the Baron beach tourist destination is determined by 2 aspects of space and time. (a) The aspect of space is divided into 3 categories. They are high, medium, and low. (b) The aspect of time is divided into 3 categories. They are long, medium, and short. The determinant factors of space settings that affect spending rates in tourism destinations of Baron Beach are (a) spatial factor, (b) amenity factor (c) time factor.

This paper aims to study and highlight the profile of the high speed rail (HSR) passenger in the case of the well-known sun and beach destination of Alicante, located in the Southeast of Spain. This region, which is directly connected with Madrid, differs from others because of its warm and sunny weather. The province is a tourist destination for both Spanish citizens and foreigners. However, the studies on the dynamics of the corridor towards Madrid and Alicante regarding HSR are quite recent and it is not possible to draw final conclusions about its impact on tourist mobility.

Abstract The mangrove ecosystem in Kunkun Village has been used as a tourist destination to be closer to nature. In addition, at this location there is also a river that is used as fishing tourism, as well as a mangrove forest that still has various fauna as one of the areas developed to be a mangrove ecotourism area. The aim of this study were to identify the suitability index of mangrove ecotourism and to determine the carrying capacity of the tourist area. This research was conducted using survey method with a sampling technique and determination of suitability based on weighting and scoring. The suitability index for mangrove tourism is included in the conditionally appropriate category with a percentage value of 55% to 75% which means that further management is needed so that the potential that exists in the mangrove ecosystem in this area can continue to be developed into an environmentally-based tourism area. While the carrying capacity of the area is 235 people/day which is divided into two groups of land and water tourism. However, the management of the ecotourism area is still lacking in terms of promotion of existing tourist spots. infrastructure in the ecotourism area is still less supportive and other facilities are not yet available.

One of the most important factors in the structure of the pile foundation in the construction of the bridge is the carrying capacity of the soil so as not to collapse. Construction of a bridge in the village of Klitik in Jombang Regency to be built due to heavy traffic volume. The foundation plan to be used is a pile foundation with a diameter of 50 cm, the problem is what is the value of carrying capacity of soil and material. The equipment used is the Dutch Cone Penetrometer with a capacity of 2.50 tons with an Adhesion Jacket Cone. The detailed specifications of this sondir are as follows: Area conus 10 cm², piston area 10 cm², coat area 100 cm², as for the results obtained The carrying capacity of the soil is 60.00 tons for a diameter of 30 cm, 81,667 tons for a diameter of 35 cm, 106,667 tons for a diameter of 40 cm, 150,000 tons for a diameter of 50 cm for material strength of 54,00 tons for a diameter of 30 cm, 73,500 tons for a diameter of 35 cm, 96,00 tons for a diameter of 40 cm, 166,666 tons for a diameter of 50 cm

Abstract Background One of the most challenging tasks in wildlife conservation and management is clarifying which and how external and intrinsic factors influence wildlife demography and long-term viability. The wild population of the Crested Ibis (Nipponia nippon) has recovered to approximately 4400, and several reintroduction programs have been carried out in China, Japan and Korea. Population viability analysis on this endangered species has been limited to the wild population, showing that the long-term population growth is restricted by the carrying capacity and inbreeding. However, gaps in knowledge of the viability of the reintroduced population and its drivers in the release environment impede the identification of the most effective population-level priorities for aiding in species recovery. Methods The field monitoring data were collected from a reintroduced Crested Ibis population in Ningshan, China from 2007 to 2018. An individual-based VORTEX model (Version 10.3.5.0) was used to predict the future viability of the reintroduced population by incorporating adaptive patterns of ibis movement in relation to catastrophe frequency, mortality and sex ratio. Results The reintroduced population in Ningshan County is unlikely to go extinct in the next 50 years. The population size was estimated to be 367, and the population genetic diversity was estimated to be 0.97. Sensitivity analysis showed that population size and extinction probability were dependent on the carrying capacity and sex ratio. The carrying capacity is the main factor accounting for the population size and genetic diversity, while the sex ratio is the primary factor responsible for the population growth trend. Conclusions A viable population of the Crested Ibis can be established according to population viability analysis. Based on our results, conservation management should prioritize a balanced sex ratio, high-quality habitat and low mortality.
