Sumenep Regency is one of the districts on Madura Island where the tourism sector is experiencing rapid development and improvement. Sumenep Regency has a natural and cultural tourist attraction, making it a destination for tourists. Not only is the attraction of the culture of his cow easy, but Sumenep Regency has a very beautiful natural attraction. The condition of natural tourism consists of natural scenery, high hills, beaches, high asta and diversity of marine potential. One of the popular tourist objects is Pantai Pantai Sembilan, Gili Labak Island and Gilii which have the best oxygen levels in the world. Tourists from outside the region, especially those who first visited Sumenep Regency will have a little difficulty in accessing tourist attractions in this city because they do not know in detail the information about the location of these tourist attractions. The purpose of this research is to build an Android-based Geographical Information System using the Dijkstra Algorithm, which is expected to help tourists from outside the Sumenep City area in displaying routes from one tourist spot to another. The method that is the basis for designing this GIS is the Graph Method, by applying the shortest route search algorithm, Dijkstra's Algorithm. The expected results with this application are that it can help, simplify, and accelerate tourists in finding and obtaining information about the location of tourist attractions in Sumenep Regency. Based on the closest travel search trials using the Android Application it produces an accuracy of 95%.

The rapid development of Bali tourism sector, especially in the tourist area of Lake Batur, lead to many changes in community cultural patterns. Several issues, such as the transition of space functions and the development of tourism designations, have not considered the environmental, economic, social and cultural conditions in the local area. Several regional policies were established in order to maintain the local wisdom of the Hindu-Balinese community and become the basis for organizing tourism in Bali. The availability of open space in a tourist attraction in an destination can be a supporting factor for tourists and local communities. This was a qualitative descriptive study. This method aims to obtain an in-depth description regarding the forms of local wisdom of the Hindu-Balinese community which contain the elements of balance which further be adjusted into spatial planning. A sustainable tourist park may be a site for the activities and interaction among local community, tourists, and also be able to become a forum for education regarding Balinese culture and the natural environment, both of which need to be preserved for the sustainability of Lake Batur tourist area which has a great potential in the development of tourism sector.

Positive contributions and trends in the tourism sector on Bangka Island, especially in the Matras Tourism Village, need to receive appreciation and support from all stakeholders through the management of environmentally friendly and sustainable tourist objects / attractions. To realize this mission, it is necessary to do ecological propaganda (religious values originating from the Qur'an and Hadith) that are in accordance with the sociocultural characteristics of society. This issue is the subject of discussion in this study, especially regarding the values of ecological preaching implemented in the development program of the Mattress Tourism Village. For this reason, a descriptive-qualitative study was conducted by collecting purposive-snowball data from the sample. Furthermore, the collected data was analyzed descriptively-qualitatively so that the values of ecological preaching that had been implemented were identified and the form and process of implementation by the Matras Tourism Village community. The findings show that there are five types of ecological preaching values that have been implemented, namely al-Is (justice), al-Tawazun (balance), al-Intifa 'wa laa al-Fasad (taking benefits without damage), ar-Riayah wa laa al -Israf (nurturing without exaggeration), and al-Tahdits wa al-Istikhlaf (renewal). Unfortunately, the value of al-Tahdits wa al-Istikhlaf is still not optimal due to the quality of science and technology. However, the local community has become more aware and intelligent about the importance of ecological preaching values in the development of Mattress Tourism Village. In the future, besides needing to intensify and harmonize the role of ulama and Umara, it must also be carried out to increase the capacity of religious institutions, knowledge and appropriate technology for program implementers, and to involve community participation in planning, implementing and evaluating the Matras Tourism Village development program.

When local communities are allowed to participate fully in tourism trade activities either through supplying goods and services or direct employment in the tourism sector-inclusiveness of tourism, trade can be realized in a practical sense. Research indicates that, in most tourist destinations in Africa, the tourism trade continues to be characterized by environmental and social-cultural degradation and inadequate local community participation associated with revenue leakages and weak economic linkages. The mechanism on how tourism trade contributes inclusively on local communities' benefits such as inclusive growth and poverty alleviation remains unclear. Despite destination economies engaging in services liberalization, little evidence exists on how such trade policies have been beneficial at enhancing inclusive benefits of the tourism trade. Therefore, this chapter aims to clarify how trade policies can be employed to promote the inclusiveness of the tourism trade.

The strategy of developing tourism promotion is much done by developing countries is to strengthen the national economy. The tourism industry sector is believed to be a sector in building the economy towards progress. The problem is how the Tourism Office manages tourist attractions that must be solved. The existence of the Office of Tourism in an area will certainly affect the economy by absorbing workers in tourist attractions and surrounding communities. Likewise with the existence of the Tourism Office in Pemenang Subdistrict which is able to help the community around its place of business by providing land / space for pokdarwis members' business activities and providing funds or training for pokdarwis in accordance with the business sector being run. Thus, there will be a significant influence on the workforce or the community if it has been found how much the workforce is absorbed by the Tourism Office in the winning sub-district. And to improve the welfare of the community in an area, the role of the Tourism Office is very much needed in an effort to participate in building and developing the tourism sector in the region and at the national level.

The tourism sector has become a truly global force for promoting economic growth and development. Therefore, the study of tourism has become an interesting topic for researchers lately. On the other hand, local tourism, generally in developing countries, is often neglected by academics and policymakers. For this reason, this study aims to examine and analyze the role of tourist motivation in mediating accessibility, amenities, and attractions on visiting decisions. This study is a survey research with an explanatory method. The population is tourists who visit the tourism village of Bumiaji, Indonesia, in the low and busy seasons. The population is infinite and the number of respondents who were interviewed is 100 respondents; data were collected by distributing questionnaires to domestic tourists who came from outside the tourist village of Bumiaji, then the data were processed and analyzed using Warp Partial Least Squares. The findings indicate that the effect of accessibility on visiting decisions is not mediated by tourist motivation. This shows that the decision of tourists to visit can be directly influenced by the time and means of transportation available. Meanwhile, the influence of amenities and attractions on the decision to visit is mediated by the motivation of tourists. This means that amenities and attractions can influence a tourist’s decision to visit if there is an urge from tourist to relax or make friends or enjoy the culture at tourist attractions, etc.

Introduction/Main Objectives: This research examines the antecedents and implications of innovation capability, empirically. The outcomes aim at contributing to the knowledge and understanding about the main driver of innovation capability.  Background Problems: Yogyakarta is known for its many and varied charms, its tourist attractions, the availability of facilities and infrastructure to support tourism, such as souvenir sellers. But there is known that number of total foreign and domestic tourists has been a decrease in 2018 (Semester I by 11.51% and II by 3.33%), also in 2019 (Semester I by 11.23%). This is a challenge for MSMEs in the tourism sector and MSMEs in other sectors that support tourism, such a souvenir seller. Bakpia is one of the well-known products of the food and beverage sector in Yogyakarta often bought for souvenirs. The Bakpia MSMEs’ innovations were triggered by competition among the Bakpia producers in Yogyakarta. Therefore, every Bakpia MSME must be competitive to survive in the market. Thus, there is a need to improve their innovation capability, which will impact the innovation performance of the Bakpia MSMEs in Yogyakarta. There is a gap in the research regarding the influence of the factors that are predicted to build innovation capability. Novelty: Previous studies’ results indicate that the influence of knowledge donating and knowledge collecting about innovation performance is not yet conclusive. Therefore, this study aims to fill the gap in the previous research by examining the role of capability as a mediating between knowledge sharing process (knowledge donating and knowledge collecting) to innovation performance. Research Methods: Forty-eight items of data were obtained from Bakpia MSMEs in Yogyakarta through a survey conducted by distributing questionnaires directly to them. The data were analyzed using PLS-SEM via SmartPLS version 3.3.2. Findings/Results: This study shows that the direct and indirect effects of sharing knowledge (which includes donating and collecting knowledge) about innovation performance are found to be positive but not significant. The results also indicate that innovation capability does not significantly mediate knowledge donating and knowledge collecting about innovation performance. Meanwhile, the influence of innovation capability on innovation performance was found to be positive and significant. Conclusion: The antecedents are insignificant for innovation capability, but the antecedent’s constructs still act as a driver to build innovation capability.
