Education has foundations that allow more fluid communication that very little has been exploited. This article tries to motivate to apply the fundamentals of the education to the students of initial, basic and superior level.

AbstractElectrochemically reversible redox couples that embrace more electron transfer at a higher potential are the eternal target for energy storage batteries. Here, we report a four-electron aqueous zinc-iodine battery by activating the highly reversible I2/I+ couple (1.83 V vs. Zn/Zn2+) in addition to the typical I−/I2 couple (1.29 V). This is achieved by intensive solvation of the aqueous electrolyte to yield ICl inter-halogens and to suspend its hydrolysis. Experimental characterization and modelling reveal that limited water activity and sufficient free chloride ions in the electrolyte are crucial for the four-electron process. The merits of the electrolyte also afford to stabilize Zn anode, leading to a reliable Zn-I2 aqueous battery of 6000 cycles. Owing to high operational voltage and capacity, energy density up to 750 Wh kg−1 based on iodine mass was achieved (15–20 wt% iodine in electrode). It pushes the Zn-I2 battery to a superior level among these available aqueous batteries.

For a complete understanding of a text, it must be addressed in an integrated way, linking the various levels of analysis and using various linguistic disciplines to explain it. In this paper, the text El patio iluminado, by Manuel Mujica Lainez, is analyzed considering the following aspects: graphic superstructure, semantic superstructure, pragmatic macrostructure, microstructure, propositional level, register, speech acts, explicatures, implicatures, rhetorical procedures, politeness strategies and polyphony. The aim of this paper is to provide an integrated textual analysis model to teachers –especially to those of superior level– to be used when explaining issues related to Pragmatics and Discourse Analysis.

The human society evolves and develops according either to intrinsic (natural) laws and to so-called laws of motion imposed by the challenges, impulses, came from the actions of different components of it.The analysis conducted in this paper is considered as a precursor of the sequences of the human activities, or humanity general speaking, from ancient times, through the present times and towards the new trends in the theory of knowledge, in the manner of the discovery of what is "beyond’ ("trans”) humanity and the implications in the day-to-day life.Even this process is declining today, it is very important, not only for the pastoral and rural traditions, but also for the health status of population. Eco and bio-products from healthy livestock, living in healthy natural environment, that is on way to go in order to preserve life and health of the people. We’ve questioned also aspects of the superior level of transhumance: people migration, as a pulse motion and its impact on the daily facts and even some remarks on the refugees as ultimate stage of the migration (with intention to establish and work in the new locations).

This article focuses on organizational decline and specifically on the evolution of a selected group of large Brazilian firms. The firms under scrutiny were included in the ranking of the Largest and Best of the Brazilian Exame magazine, in the period comprised between 1974 and 2005. Our descriptive analysis shows two main effects: first, a high rate of decline among the largest Brazilian firms, and second, an acceleration of the rate of decline over the years. That is, the firms are increasingly less capable of maintaining a superior level of competitiveness for an extended time horizon. By studying organizational decline we are better able to understand what firms should do to sustain an advantage.

Local economic development is one of the means regional governments frequently employ to improve community welfare. However, improper management and development patterns would lead to failure in the implementation of economic development or outside communities may enjoy the benefits of economic development instead. Umbul Ponggok is a community-based tourist destination and it has, to this day, been capable of becoming a source of livelihood for most of the residents living in the area. The community’s involvement at every level of the decision making process and implementation guarantees continuity in the local economy they develop. Additionally, the transparent and accountable management in place ensures the high level of trust people have. Such superior level of trust and involvement was no overnight feat, persistence and wholeheartedness of initiators along with the support of various parties (university, banking institutions, NGO, and others) made certain that the numerous issues encountered were resolved, all challenges overcome, and every opportunity taken.

With the aim of observing to what extent intercultural contact is a predictor of cultural intelligence, and the relationship between cultural intelligence, type of intercultural contact, gender and education, descriptive and inferential statistical analyses were conducted using the ANOVA and t-test. With a sample of 661 individuals, results show that intercultural contact is a predictor of cultural intelligence and that men and individuals who possess superior level studies present higher cultural intelligence means. Those who maintain intercultural contact with friends or family present superior cultural intelligence means in metacognitive and motivational dimensions and individuals who maintain an intercultural contact in professional environment present high score at the level of cognitive and behavioral dimensions.

The Assyrian Netherworld is often depicted in literature as a grim “hell” whose residents are clad like birds, deprived of light, and have soil and clay as their food and sustenance. It is the land of no return, erṣet la târi, “the house which none who enters ever leaves”, reached by a “path that allows no journey back”. In addition to such a dreary “hell,” however, the Assyrian Netherworld should also be understood in its capacity as a locus of initiation to which the hero or the spiritual adept is able to pay a visit while still alive without being permanently engulfed by it, and as a result attains a superior level of consciousness, perhaps even immortality. This paper focuses on such initiatic aspects of the Netherworld. Especially two poems composed in the Standard Babylonian dialect of Akkadian, the Standard Babylonian Version of the Epic of Gilgamesh, a work long ingrained in the Mesopotamian religious consciousness, and the poem known as the Underworld Vision of an Assyrian Prince, may be thought to shed light on this more covert perception of the Netherworld. Further, since both of these works come from “libraries” in Nineveh, they may after all be thought to reflect the way the Ninevite intellectual elite themselves perceived the Netherworld. This “Underworld Vision” of the Ninevite scholarly milieu is by no means confined to contemporary literature; it is also visible in the royal palaces of Nineveh through representations of gate-guardians, Mischwesen, that belong to that very Netherworld. Nor is this “Underworld Vision” exclusive to the Ninevite elite alone, as it is one which the latter inherited from a long-standing Mesopotamian mystical tradition. Here, however, I shall try to present a glimpse of this Netherworld from a Ninevite perspective.

My Institute is part of, and funded by, the Max Planck Society, which roughly corresponds to an Academy of Science in other countries. The Society runs 80 research institutes today, out of which 12 conduct research in the humanities, including six institutes that deal with legal questions on a superior level, including mine. The different institutes are located in different parts of the country, and this very much corresponds to the federalist foundations of the German state.
