<p><em>The development of digital banking is expanding and developing at any time to facilitate community activities and make time efficient. In implementing this, Bank Syariah Mandiri is present by providing BSM Institutional Payment (BPI) operational services that function as an institutional bill payment system that can be done through Bank Mandiri Syariah e-channels including Mandiri Syariah Mobile. One institution that cooperates in institutional payment services is the University. During the admission of new school year students and the change of new semesters, as well as the increasing case of Covid-19, banks and universities worked together on this service to reduce physical contact with many people in receiving tuition payments. Before implementation, the University needs to submit an application to the nearest branch office which is then forwarded to the head office so that it can be immediately implemented. Implementation of BSM Institutional Payments at the University of Ibn Khaldun Bogor is arguably still small, because students are still accustomed to manually paying by cash deposit.</em></p>

The university or campus is a higher education and research institution that provides academic degrees in various fields. The university certainly has several buildings that can be used as classrooms, laboratories, lecturers' rooms, etc. At a certain time, a university is not infrequently visited by guests, who tour the campus and visit buildings in the university environment. Not only guests, but the University also has new students every new school year. Every campus tour activity carried out by guests or new students, must always be guided by both lecturers and students. Based on these cases, this study aims to implement Augmented reality (AR) Technology using the Marker-Based method. This application is a building recognition application that can be used at a University. Each building will have a unique marker on each building. The concept of implementing this application is, by directing the camera opened through this application and directing the camera to the marker found in the building being visited. The camera will identify the marker, if the marker is recognized then the 3D object of the building will appear directly above the marker to give the user what the overall shape of the building looks like. Not only 3D objects, but the application also provides information about the building and also a picture of the user's position along with the two closest buildings that the user can visit afterward. By using this application, visitors do not need someone to guide them around the campus. This application has been tested with usability testing and user satisfaction reaches 83,4% which means that the application can be used and functioning for the user.</em></p>

Twohy, Mike. Poindexter Makes a Friend. New York: Simon & Schuster, 2011. Print. Full disclosure: this is a book, reviewed by a librarian, about making a friend at the library. However, the gentle charms of Poindexter Makes a Friend will appeal to most everyone, regardless of the size of one’s soft spot for libraries. Poindexter is an introverted young pig who would rather read a story to his stuffed animals than go out to play in his neighbourhood. His adores his local public library, where he helps to shelve books and push the book cart. Poindexter’s comfortable life of library volunteerism is interrupted when Shelby, a shy turtle, asks for help finding a book about how to make friends. Some children make friends easily, and some do not. Either way, friends are a pressing concern for the pre-school and early elementary crowd, the audience for Poindexter Makes a Friend. The book’s appeals include the friendly, expressive watercolours of author Mike Twohy, a veteran New Yorker cartoonist. However, the book’s most valuable facet is its discussion of how to make friends, which takes place, not pedantically, between Poindexter and Shelby. This discussion includes concrete, age-appropriate parsing of concepts such as “sharing” and “being nice,” and could make a good launching point for a group discussion at a library story hour or at the beginning of a new school year. This is a tale that is simple, but not simplistic. As Poindexter helps Shelby, so will Poindexter Makes a Friend help bashful souls to emerge a little bit from their shells. Recommended: 3 out of 4 starsReviewer: Sarah PolkinghorneSarah is a Public Services Librarian at the University of Alberta. She enjoys all sorts of books.

Background: Sport has the capability to unite a country. To achieve winning teams, athletes have to rely on each other and often have close physical contact. Disclosure of a positive human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) status may be problematic for athletes in contact sports as they may suffer discrimination and stigmatisation which may impact their relationship behaviours. This may impact frontline nursing and medical staff dealing with on-field ‘blood’ injuries. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine if individuals who participate in football and rugby are aware of the risk of HIV infection in contact sports and their perceptions and reported behaviour towards HIV-positive athletes.Method: A cross-sectional survey design with a qualitative element. Quantitative data were analysed using descriptive statistics, while thematic content analysis was used to analyse qualitative data.Non-proportional quota sampling was used for male rugby (n = 23) and football (30) players registered at the University of Limpopo (Turfloop campus). Results: The results supported previous research in that there are gaps in HIV knowledge. For instance, not knowing that anal sex may cause HIV infection and believing that saliva can transmit HIV and that blood transfusions are unsafe. Conclusion: Problematic findings were that a portion of the sample believed that having sex with a virgin could cure HIV and the majority of the sample believed that being ‘bewitched’ could cause HIV and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).

Computer networks have become an important point in companies that have many branch offices to coordinate the transfer of data. PT Indo Matra Lestari's connection uses a VPN system using the PPTP method. Data Center is used as a VPN server, the client is the Head Office and Citereup Branch Offices. Between the Head Office and the Citereup Branch Office there is no direct connection so access to data made between the Head Office and the Citereup Branch Office is slow, because the data must pass through the Data Center before reaching its destination. Moreover, the data accessed is private to the company and only accessed on the local network. The solution used to create a direct and secure network path between the Head Office and Branch Offices is to use the EoIP Tunnel on the proxy router. Tunneling method in EoIP can make network bridging between proxy devices, EoIP Tunnel will change to Virtual Interface on the proxy router so that it is as if the proxy router is connected locally. Tunnel ID on the EoIP Tunnel functions as a tunneling path security. The application of the EoIP Tunnel makes the point to point connection point between Mikrotik devices faster in data access because the data access is directed to the destination. In order for this EoIP Tunnel connection to run optimally and well, a network management is needed in managing internet bandwidth usage

The Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) instituted an upper-division “Writing for Chemists” course in fall 2017 that fulfills part of UCI’s writing graduation requirement. During the 2019-2020 school year, we re-designed the course using a specifications grading system with the following goals: 1) to teach students how to develop their own writing practice, while mastering chemistry discipline-specific writing conventions, 2) to provide students with frequent and constructive instructor and teaching assistant (TA) feedback by providing ample revision opportunities, 3) to increase transparency in how students can achieve course SLOs, and 4) to provide students with consistent and clear assessment rubrics. This specifications grading approach uses a high-pass, low-pass, unsatisfactory system predicated on whether students meet a certain number of criteria for each assignment. Achievement of Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) was assessed using criteria instead of points so that instructors and students could more objectively measure student learning. Standardized rubrics and a student grade tracker helped students understand the relationship between meeting criteria, achieving SLOs, and earning grades. Students completed surveys at the end of the course to determine if their writing habits and attitudes towards writing changed. After the course, students self-reported increased propensities to pre-write and edit, and several students mentioned that they appreciated the transparency of the specifications rubrics and the control the specifications system gave them over their grades.

Abstract Background and Purpose: Many organisations are using the e-payment system; however, its effectiveness has not been determined particularly in the Nigeria context. The University of Ilorin as educational organisation started using e-payment system in 2010 and up till now there has been limited or no study conducted to examine whether or not workers are satisfied with the new payment system together with other related ones they are familiar with. It is in the light of this that this study examined users’ satisfaction with the e-payment system at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Design/Methodology/Approach: A sample of 260 academic and non-academic staff was taken from six out 12 faculties that made up the university. Using a survey research approach data was collected with a modified questionnaire. Five research questions were developed to guide the study. Results: The results revealed that, respondents (93.5%) were adequately satisfied, satisfied and moderately satisfied, while, only (6.5%) of the respondents were less satisfied and dissatisfied. Perceived speed was identified as the characteristics users mostly satisfied with, followed by system security, traceability, and convenience. Moreover, there is significant correlation among the entire e-payment characteristics/factors (perceived speed, security, anonymity, traceability, perceived ease of payment, and convenience); and that all the six factors jointly predict users’ satisfaction with the e-payment system. In order of magnitude of the prediction/contribution to e-payment, users’ satisfaction, perceived speed made the most significant prediction/contribution. Conclusion: Based on the findings, the study concluded a considerable percentage of the respondents (93.5%) are satisfied with the e-payment system at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. In lieu of this therefore, there is need to improve the e-payment system so that all and sundry could be satisfied.
