<p><em>Social dysfunction is a manifestation of symptoms of schizophrenia which is characterized by decreased social functioning. One of the modality therapies that can be done to improve the socialization ability is social skills interventions in the form of repeatedly and gradually socialization exercises in patients. </em><em>Th</em><em>i</em><em>s article aimed to explore the using virtual reality for improving social skills of  patients with  schizophrenia.<strong> </strong>Literature review used in this study reviewed journals collected  from  </em><em>Clinical Key</em><em>, EBSCO, ProQuest and  Scopus since 2007-2019.</em> <em>L</em><em>iter</em><em>a</em><em>t</em><em>u</em><em>r</em><em>e study in this scientific paper shows the result that using virtual reality in schizophrenia  patient need to  be  applied  to  improve his/her social skills, though the method that already done in conventional way.<strong> </strong>Virtual reality   is   one   of   methodes   that can be used  to improve social skills of schizophrenia patients.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>Keyword:</em><em> Social Skills</em><em>, </em><em>Virtual Reality</em><em>, Schizoprenia</em></p><p><em> </em></p>

AbstractIn the last decade, there has been an increase in publications on technology-based interventions for autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Virtual reality based assessments and intervention tools are promising and have shown to be acceptable amongst individuals with ASD. This scoping review reports on 49 studies utilizing virtual reality and augmented reality technology in social skills interventions for individuals with ASD. The included studies mostly targeted children and adolescents, but few targeted very young children or adults. Our findings show that the mode number of participants with ASD is low, and that female participants are underrepresented. Our review suggests that there is need for studies that apply virtual and augmented realty with more rigorous designs involving established and evidenced-based intervention strategies.

Despite significant advances in the treatment and rehabilitation of stroke, level of post-stroke disability remains at a fairly high level. Recent innovative developments in the rehabilitation of these patients provide good results in terms of functional outcome. One of such developments is method of virtual reality (VR), which affects not only the speed and volume of regaining movement, as well as coordination, but also normalizes the psycho-emotional background, increasing the motivation of patients to improve the recovery process. This article provides a literature review of the use of the VR method in the rehabilitation of post-stroke patients, neurophysiological aspects of recovery of lost functions using this method are considered.

Introduction This study aims to determine the guidelines for the design of a social skills training programme for people with schizophrenia using virtual reality. Methods This article encompasses two studies: Study 1, a systematic review of five articles indexed in the databases B-on, PubMed, Clinical trials and Cochrane Library (2010–2020); Study 2, a focus group of occupational therapists trained in mental health and multimedia professionals, in which they discussed the outline of such a programme. Results A set of guidelines were identified as central and consensual which should be included in the programme. It must have multilevel logic and gradual learning, with simulations of everyday situations, in which it is possible to practise the skills of conversation and communication. Virtual reality provides people with schizophrenia with unlimited opportunities, enhancing a personalized intervention. Conclusion Social skills training could be part of the treatment for people with schizophrenia, and virtual reality is a promising tool to complement traditional training, although still little implemented in mental health services. Occupational therapists have a prominent role in the development and application of this because of their knowledge of activity analysis and their ability to facilitate the generalization of skills in different contexts.

Students with emotional and behavioral disorders (EBD) are likely to require interventions to help them navigate the social demands of the school environment. Several meta-analyses of social skills interventions have been conducted, which have provided guidance and demonstrated the effectiveness of social skills training for students with EBD. This article details a framework for teaching and practicing social skills interventions. Included in it are descriptions of several social skills strategies and ways in which the teaching of them can be individualized to meet the needs of students with EBD.

Tourism sector provides a significant contribution to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the Republic of Indonesia, both through foreign exchange and economic turnover. Although the Indonesian tourism industry after the COVID-19 pandemic has changed with an emphasis on green and clean products, it is hoped that this sector will be lessened by the community compared to the previous era. Research and development of VR has been carried out in various fields such as games, education, aviation, medicine, the application of VR in tourism is still common, there is a need to implement tourism while staying at home. The results of the systematic literature review conducted provide an explanation of the starting point for research by applying VR and making 3600 videos for industrial tourism. Employability skills are necessary for youth with Intellectual Disabilities (IDs) to successfully navigate their transition from educational settings to autonomous adult life. Most importantly, research evidence has shown that individuals with IDs appear to perform adequately on job tasks, yet they frequently face inadequacies in the social aspects of work life. Although much of the existing employability research has focused on social skills training related to employability for individuals with other disabilities, people with IDs are underrepresented in the literature. Thus, this review aimed to provide insight into the existing social skills interventions that promote employability in transition-age youth with IDs. Results indicated that although there is a limited number of studies regarding intervention programs on improving social skills related to employment for individuals with IDs, the majority of them positively impacted target behaviors, thus highlighting the need for further empirical research.

Social Skills Training (SST) is one of the interventions aimed at improving communication and providing new skills to schizophrenic clients with social isolation problems. SST is specifically carried out on clients with social isolation experiencing a decrease   number, frequency and quality of social contacts; endurance of contact and negativism are associated with feelings of isolated.   SST is performed through several sessions. Each session consisted of several sections such as modeling, role playing, performance feedback and transfer training. The stages in the SST not only focus on social skills, but also cognitive functions. SST can be applied to healthy and disturbed clients,    children as well as adults. Method: Literature review is based on issues, methodologies, equations and advanced research proposals. There are 5 quantitative studies and 1 bulletin. Out of Five studies conducted, one study on healthy clients and 4 disturbed clients. such as autism, high risk, and cognitive impairment.

The background of this research is to make a prototype of a Jakarta virtual tourism application system using Android OS and using virtual reality tools. The method used by this panel is to use a literature review and create an application prototype that will be applied to the making of a virtual Jakarta tourism program. The results of this study are the application of virtual reality tools on the Jakarta virtual tourism application which aims to help the tourism sector affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the manufacture of application prototypes that use the Android OS. The limitation of this research lies in making an application prototype using the Android OS which is not perfect and has not produced a real application. This research is very useful for the development of the tourism sector during the COVID-19 pandemic and in the future, so that tourists can choose to travel online or offline.
