This article examines the application of Sufism values ​​contained in the figure of Hadrotus Sheikh KH Ahmad Shahibulwafa Tajul Arifin or known as Abah Anom in relation to environmental conservation. As is well known, the ecological crisis that is occurring in the modern era is fundamentally influenced by a crisis of perception or wrong view of nature. Nature is seen only as a material object and is not sacred. This article reveals that Sufism is the right alternative as a solution to overcome the environmental crisis. Sufism, with its teachings on the unity of existence, harmonization of the relationship between God, nature, and humans, and ethics based on divinity and noble values ​​can become a new paradigm in looking at nature holistically and can be the answer to modern human problems that are the main cause of the crisis. environment. One form of application of the application of Sufism values ​​in environmental conservation can be found in the figure of Hadrotus Sheikh KH Ahmad Shahibulwafa Tajul Arifin or known as Abah Anom. As a Sufism practitioner who views life in a unified and holistic way, Pangersa Abah Anom not only has the view that natural preservation must always be maintained and interpreted, but he also applies this view through concrete actions so that it has a direct, concrete impact. The paradigm and attitude that he applies in preserving nature can be categorized as eco-sufism. Eco-sufism is an idea that emphasizes the spiritual aspect of understanding and utilizing nature and contributing positively to sustainable development. The real manifestation of the implementation of eco-sufism from Pangersa Abah Anom can be seen in his efforts to build a water reservoir called the Nurmuhammad Dam, as well as reforestation with various plants in the Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya area.

Abstract: The current environmental crisis is a global problem that needs to be considered by various parties, including the church. As imago Dei man should take care of and preserve the earth according to God's purposes. But the reality is that humans use it and exploit nature for their own benefit. The erroneous paradigm of an environment in which man feels superior to other creations, giving rise to the uncontrolled exploitation of nature needs to be straightened out. One of them is by applying a new paradigm, namely the environment as the other. The environment as the other invites everyone to look at the environment as a neighbor who comes with his own uniqueness. Thus his presence encourages us to take responsibility for the safety and preservation of the environment, not instead of being masters of the environment. The Church becomes part of environmental conservation, this is displayed in concrete action by actively voicing an environmentally friendly lifestyle and simple life. The purpose of this paper is to understand Emmanuel Levinas' concept of thought about The Other and its implications in environmental conservation efforts. The research method used in this research is qualitative research using the library research. Sebagai imago Dei seharusnya manusia menjaga dan memelihara bumi sesuai dengan maksud Allah. Namun kenyataannya manusia malah memanfaatkannya serta mengeksploitasi alam demi keuntungan sendiri. Paradigma yang keliru mengenai lingkungan dimana manusia merasa lebih superior dari ciptaan yang lain sehingga menimbulkan tindakan ekploitasi alam dengan tidak terkendali perlu diluruskan. Salah satunya dengan menerapkan paradigma baru yakni lingkungan sebagai sang liyan. Lingkungan sebagai sang liyan mengajak setiap orang untuk memandang lingkungan sebagai sesamanya yang hadir dengan keunikannya sendiri. Dengan demikian kehadirannya mendorong kita untuk bertanggung jawab atas keselamatan dan pelestarian lingkungan, bukan sebaliknya menjadi tuan atas lingkungan. Gereja menjadi bagian dalam pelestarian lingkungan, hal ini dinampakkan dalam tindakan nyata dengan aktif menyuarakan pola hidup yang ramah lingkungan dan berspiritualitas ugahari. Oleh karena itu tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memahami gagasan konsep pemikiran Emmanuel Levinas tentang Sang Liyan dan implikasinya dalam upaya pelestarian lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan library research (study kepustakaan). AbstractThe environmental crisis has always been an endless issue to discuss. Especially in reality, the ecological crisis is already on an alarming level. One of the ecological crises is the beach reclamation that occurred in Manado. Beach reclamation causes damage to marine ecosystems, for example, the destruction of coral reefs on the coastal area. In addition, it also caused flash floods in Manado. The society in Manado then begins to blame nature without wanting to examine it first. The question that arises is why does exploitation of nature, such as beach reclamation, continue to occur? My guess is that there was a theological crisis which later led to an ecological crisis. The theological crisis is related to the concept that God is understood to be distanced from creation. This is exactly what William Johnston and Leonardo Boff, a philosopher and liberation theologian, conducted through the theory of the Communion of God. This concerns the wrong understanding of the trinity of God and assumes that there is power over the others, so what occurs is oppression, deprivation of rights, and exclusion. For this reason, using the theories of Boff and Johnston, we will both see in this paper how the Minahasa trinitarian faith is connected with the concept of the Minahasan God of the ecological crisis, in this case coastal reclamation. However, if we trace back, the relationship between Minahasan and the nature was relatively close. This is based on the concept of a Trinitarian of God whose duty is to protect humans and nature. For this reason, I hope that the results of this paper will be able to build a trinitarian eco-spirituality in the lives of people in Manado to continue to strive to preserve nature, not to damage it.  AbstrakKrisis lingkungan (ekologi) selalu menjadi isu yang tidak pernah habis untuk didiskusikan karena krisis ekologi sudah dalam taraf yang memprihatinkan. Salah satu krisis ekologi yaitu reklamasi pantai yang terjadi di Manado. Reklamasi pantai menyebabkan rusaknya ekosistem laut, misalnya, hancurnya terumbu karang yang ada di pesisir pantai. Selain itu, reklamasi pantai menyebabkan terjadinya banjir bandang di Manado. Masyarakat mulai menyalahkan alam tanpa mau mengkajinya terlebih dahulu. Pertanyaan yang kemudian muncul adalah mengapa exploitasi terhadap alam, misalnya reklamasi pantai, masih terus terjadi? Dugaan penulis bahwa terdapat krisis teologi yang kemudian menyebabkan krisis ekologi. Krisis teologi yang dimaksudkan yaitu konsep bahwa Allah yang dipahami berjarak dari ciptaan. Krisis teologi tersebut senada dengan apa yang dikeluhkan oleh William Johnston dan Leonardo Boff, seorang filsuf dan teolog pembebasan melalui teorinya communion of God. Hal tersebut terkait dengan paham yang keliru tentang ketritunggalan Allah dan menganggap bahwa ada yang berkuasa terhadap yang lain, sehingga yang terjadi adalah penindasan, perampasan hak, penyingkiran, dan lain-lain. Untuk itu, dengan menggunakan teori Boff dan Johnston, penulis akan melihat bagaimana penghayatan iman trinitaris orang Minahasa yang dihubungkan dengan konsep Allah orang Minahasa terhadap krisis ekologi dalam hal ini reklamasi pantai. Karena jika merunut ke belakang, hubungan orang Minahasa dulu dengan alam tergolong akrab. Hal ini didasari pada konsep tentang Allah trinitaris yang bertugas untuk menjaga manusia dan alam. Untuk itu penulis berharap hasil yang ditemukan dapat membangun eko-spiritualitas trinitaris di dalam kehidupan masyarakat di Manado untuk terus berupaya menjaga dan memelihara alam, bukan merusak.


In this pace of time, people often get some moments for themselves in their busy schedule. That’s the main reason behind increasing frustration and depression levels in the society. Our life is full of challenges and competitions whether we are at home or at workplace. So, it becomes a compulsion to work on a new paradigm which lessens this frustration level of the people. To answer this question many researchers or scholars came up with an idea of spirituality. In spite of being a traditional phenomenon, the concept of spirituality is getting high significance in this modern era. This is because of its unique nature of providing strength in pain. There are many people who are following spiritual practices as their routine activity. Workplace is the only place after our home where we spent most of our time. That’s why people want to practice spirituality not only at home but at their workplace also. On the other side, organizations find it difficult to maintain harmony and peace among the members of organization. So, they are also gaping the practices of spirituality to maintain the optimized level of harmony in the organization. Through this paper researcher determine the leading factors of spirituality in harmony at workplace and also find out the relationship between them.

J. Baird Callicott questions the basic premise of Lynn White Jr.’s essay “The Historical Roots of our Ecological Crisis,” where White attributes the environmental crisis to Genesis where God created man in his image, gave man dominion over the rest of creation, and commands him to subdue the Earth. Callicott examines White’s very epistemic assumption: that what we do depends on what we think. On this reckoning, we need to rethink the nature of nature, human nature, and the relationship between humans and nature in order to save the world from ecological disaster. But Callicott reminds us that the Lynn White Jr. of Medieval Technology and Social Change (1962) also proposes a theory of technological determinism to explain the fate of the West. So which is it? Is the mechanistic worldview of Descartes and Newton the product of Christian theology or mechanical technologies? Perhaps nature is more affected by things than ideas. If so, environmental philosophers have to give up the pretense that they alone can save the world from environmental destruction because they alone are expert at uncovering underlying conceptual presuppositions. Revolutionary developments in real material things are just as important as revolutionary ideas.

Seyyed Hossein Nasr, one of the Islamic thinkers who have a serious concern and deep concern over the occurrence of the ecological crisis. Forest destruction, pollution, water, and air are clear examples that can be seen in life today. According to him, the root of the problem lies in humans as actors, who have lost their sense of awe and concern for themselves and the universe. Such a state is the result of eroding the awareness of the holy. So that for him the ecological crisis is the result of a spiritual crisis. Therefore, the question arises, what is Nasr's attitude about the ecological crisis and his spirituality? How is the concept of ecological Sufism in his thinking? By examining his thoughts, and his works, researchers will analyze with a philosophical approach to answer these problems. This study states, as a result of its findings, that the concept of ecological Sufism is the relationship between Sufism and ecological values by looking at problems in the environmental crisis. Awareness of Sufism-spirituality has an important role in addressing the ecological crisis. The concept of ecological Sufism is an alternative thought to answer the problem of the ecological crisis and the spiritual crisis in modern humans.

Connecting the environment with societies’ cultures through literature has created a new awareness of environmental issues. The current environmental crisis is a product of modern human culture. The thought of using land as a commodity and disregard for environmental ethics has worsened the ecological crisis. The paper focuses issues of environment highlighted in Native American literature. The anthropocentric behavior of Euro-Americans is contrary to Native American idea of biocentrism. For American Indians, land is considered not merely a stage on which the act is played but also as an active participant in the drama with major role to play in the lives of the characters. This article applies Ecocriticism theory on Louise Erdrich’s fiction Tracks to generate an ecological criticism of the text. This paper highlights new ways of treating the natural world, putting responsibility on humans to see how their cultures are affecting environment.

The Research aims to know: (a) How about Mehdi Golshani’s thoughts   on relationship between science and religion?, and, (b) How about relevancy Mehdi Golshani’s thoughts  for developing of  science and religion scientifically. So, the material object of the research is Golshani’s thoughts   on relationship between science and religion that is studied with using epistimology as it’s the formal object.  Results of the research that: firtsly, Golshani used terms of   “the sacred sciences” and “the secular sciences” for understanding to relationship between the science and the religion. Then, his idea on “the sacred sciences” developed by him becomes “Islamic Science”.  He defines that the “Islamic Science” is a kind of science that has   a weltanschauung which it based on the Quran values. Here, Golshani stresses on an importance to develop the Quran epistemology in Moslems society in modern era now.  Secondly, to create ideal   expectations in the relationship between science and religion and its benefits for humankind and harmony in the universe, Mehdi Golshani’s thoughts and implementable offers, especially  for developing  natural sciences in the Moslems society, are an urgent thing and properly considerable.Keywords: “the sacred sciences”, the “Islamic Science”, the Quran epistemology

This study is based on the legal responsibility of the assessment of public appraisal reports they make in land procurement activities for development in the public interest. Public assessment is obliged to always be accountable for their assessment. The type of research found in this thesis is a type of normative legal research with the right-hand of the statue approach and case approach. Normative legal research is a study that provides systematic explanation of rules governing a certain legal category, analyzing the relationship between regulations explaining areas of difficulty and possibly predicting future development. . After conducting research, researchers found that one of the causes that made the dispute was a lack of communication conducted between the Government and the landlord. In deliberation which should be the place where the parties find the meeting point between the parties on the magnitude of the damages that will be given, in the field is often used only for the delivery of the assessment of the compensation that has been done.

Today the performance measurement of Muhammadiyah Luwuk uUniversity’s performance has not formulated yet based on University’s vision and mission. It will affect the strategic steps needed and performance improvement efforts in the future.  Human resource scorecard is the right system to be applied in Muhammadiyah Luwuk University. The purpose of this study is to designed a performance measurement system at Muhammadiyah Luwuk University using the Human Resource Scorecard with four perspectives: stakeholder, academic management and kemuhammadiyaan, operational and innovation, as well as and learning. Data was analyzed by analytical hierarchy process method. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires, focus group discussions and in-depth interview with stakeholders at Muhammadiyah Luwuk University. The results showed that there were 14 strategic objectives and 33 key performance indicators to be achieved by the priority objectives, which are: empowerment and development of faculty, increased administrative process quality, improved sound budget performance and, improvement of the relationship with stakeholders.

The low profits of mini purse seine in Sathean Village will have an impact on the business risks being carried out. The new paradigm states that the relationship between risk and profit levels is quadratic; too much risk can lead to the loss and even destruction of a business. Thus, the fisherman of mini purse seine business owners in Sathean Village needs to manage their business risk well to achieve optimum profit for business sustainability. This study aims to assess business profits and business risks. Primary data was collected on 6 fisherman owners of mini purse seine business owners in Sathean Village as respondents, conducted business profit analysis and business risk calculation based on probability density. The results showed that the business profit was Rp 241,608,203/year or Rp 196,551,994 in the peak season, Rp 41.828.721 in the medium season and Rp 3.2227.488 in the less season.In peak and less seasons, these businesses are at risk or have the opportunity to lose, while in the medium season is not risky.
