Leptospirosis is a disease with high fatality, it is transmitted by animals infected with Leptospira bacteria either through direct or indirect contact. Ponorogo is one of endemic areas to Leptospirosis whereas the incidence of this zoonotic disease reported annually. The purpose of this study was to analyze the behavior of respondents and ratproofing house conditions against the incidence of leptospirosis in Ponorogo Regency. This research was an observational study with case control research design (ratio of 1: 3 with a comparison of the number of cases of 9 participants and control of 27 participants). The data were obtained by observation and interviews using observation sheets and questionnaires as instruments to obtain information about respondents' behavior and the condition of rats-free houses. The results of statistical tests using chi square showed that contact with standing water is significantly associated with the Leptospiroris incidence with OR = 10.0 (p value=0.03, 95% CI = 1,1 – 91,4) and condition of sewage system (SPAL) also significantly associated with OR = 0.10 (p value 0.02;) 95% CI: 0,01 – 0,79). Poor personal habits such as contact with standing water after working has positive association with odds ratio 10 times higher of causing leptospirosis and the condition of house sewage system (SPAL) that are covered by sewage nets to prevent the entry of mice into the house has negative association or a protective factor against the occurrence of leptospirosis. Suggestions that can be given are educating the general public within the observation area about the dangers of leptospirosis and its prevention, improving the diagnostic ability of Leptosirosis in the Primary Health Care (Puskesmas), improving daily residents behavior or habits by rinsing hands and feet in running water using soap, and closing wire gutters to prevent access rat into the house.

Web-scale discovery services for libraries provide deep discovery to a library’s local and licensed content, and represent an evolution, perhaps a revolution, for end user information discovery as pertains to library collections.  This article frames the topic of web-scale discovery, and begins by illuminating web-scale discovery from an academic library’s perspective – that is, the internal perspective seeking widespread staff participation in the discovery conversation.  This included the creation of a discovery task force, a group which educated library staff, conducted internal staff surveys, and gathered observations from early adopters.  The article next addresses the substantial research conducted with library vendors which have developed these services.  Such work included drafting of multiple comprehensive question lists distributed to the vendors, onsite vendor visits, and continual tracking of service enhancements.  Together, feedback gained from library staff, insights arrived at by the Discovery Task Force, and information gathered from vendors collectively informed the recommendation of a service for the UNLV Libraries.

Lifestyle And Physical EducationIn order to improve the influence of Physical Education within schools on the creation of a healthy lifestyle, it is essential to analyze students' opinions in regard to this subject and its teachers. The aim of this research was to establish lifestyle typologies and to find out if these are correlated with the perception of Physical Education and its teachers. The participants in this research consisted of 745 teenagers belonging to three different rural environments. In order to establish typologies related to the use of spare time, a cluster analysis was carried out. Then, the relation between lifestyle and the evaluation of Physical Education was determined by means of the Chi-square test. The results show the existence of two lifestyle typologies. The group with a healthier lifestyle is the one that rates Physical Education and its teachers more positively.

As multiculturalism is becoming a world value, the creation, culture, and common memory of the community nowadays should be the running water source of “The National Digital Archives Program.” However, while we are making great efforts to improve the creation of the local cultural community and multicultural development, the connotations of the community culture, as well as the local anecdotes, which are closely related to our daily lives, are definitely worth recording and passing down. Thus, as a place of knowledge collecting and culture reservation, the school library should play a more positive role in the community changes which are related to the economic development, the urban style, the basic necessities of life, the languages, and the humanity characteristics. One of the important tendencies in the present education reform in Taiwan is the cooperation between the school and the community. With the school library open to the public, the number of people that the school serves will increase and the interaction between the school and the community residents will be more frequent. If the school library has a good interaction with the local community residents, it will become a wonderful place for the community residents to have access to gaining knowledge and receiving lifelong learning. Therefore, with the application of the digital technology in the library, the digital archives of the community cultural images can not only preserve related data effectively but also disseminate and introduce the local history and characteristics to the world through the Internet. In addition, they can be served as valuable digital cultural materials for people to learn, to educate and to study. The study attempts to archive the community images by promoting the creation of digital images. Through the conformity of school teaching activities, the promotion of the use of the library, and intervention the community cultural events, we encourage teachers, students and the residents to record the history, geography, customs and humanity of the community by means of the creation of digital images, documentaries for example. As a result, we hope that the digital image of the common memory of the community would be created gradually and the library would be more multi-functional and become a place to keep the local data, to improve the understanding of the community, to offer the teaching materials and to raise the local consciousness.

Over the last decades, archivists believed the management of government records, without being perfect, was going smoothly and seamlessly: records from Canadian government institutions were acquired, processed and made accessible to Canadians in an organised, structured, and logical way. However, in his 2014 report, the Auditor General of Canada pointed out not only weaknesses but also failures in LAC activities related directly to its mandate: developing Records Disposition Authorities (RDA), processing archival material from departments and agencies, and making this heritage material available to Canadians or people interested in Canada. LAC was somehow shocked by this earthquake and had to cope with these problems and find solutions, within three years. My presentation has three parts: 1- the LAC Act, macro-appraisal and RDA; 2- the Auditor General’s report; 3- the creation of the LAC Task Force to deal with these archival issues. My conclusion will explore some elements about the management of digital archives for Canadian government institutions.

The chapter aims at investigating the role of the Reagan administration in organizing the Games. Contrary to previous understanding, which tend to dismiss federal government involvment in the organization of the Games, it will highlight the political and diplomatic actions undertaken by the Reagan administration to organize a perfect edition of the Olympics and to sell the world reaganism through the Los Angeles Games. Since the creation of an Olympic task force within the White House, the Los Angeles Games were perceived as a showcase on Ronald Reagan's America. The task force immediately concluded that the federal government would act behind the scenes, providing all the necessary security measures for the LAOOC and the Games, coordinating diplomatic actions and looking over consular practices. Tasks increased when the Soviets announced their boycott: the White House defined a clear damage-limiting strategy. In its conclusions, the chapter will discuss a sort of paradox: the Reagan administration was increasingly involved in the promotion of what it presented as a government-free edition of the Olympics.
