The expediency of single-format technology of automated processing of geodetic measurements for the needs of the road construction industry is considered. This technology allows you to perform end-to-end automated processing of geodetic measurements with subsequent automated design and transfer the results of one design phase to the next in a single format and a single design environment. Through single-format automated technology for processing geodetic measurements and development of design solutions is to transfer the results of one stage of data processing or development of design solutions to another in one format and one software package. In the event of any corrections to previous results or the development of new solutions at any stage, all changes should be reflected in all parts of the project. This approach will allow the use of a one-time digitally developed highway project at all subsequent stages in the development of overhaul and reconstruction projects, subject to changes in the digital model of the area. The digital model of the terrain and section of the highway constructed in this way can be constantly adjusted and used at the stages of geodetic surveys, design, construction or repair and maintenance until the next geodetic surveys. End-to-end single-format cycle includes: design, technological design, engineering analysis, control programs. This ensures the integrity of the geometry in the transition to each subsequent stage. Providing end-to-end automated automated processing of geodetic measurement results for road repair or construction design tasks can be done by involving software products such as «CREDO», «Topomatic Robur», «Autodesk Civil 3D» and others. The use of single-format end-to-end automated processing of geodetic measurements with the subsequent construction of a digital terrain model will speed up and facilitate the development of design solutions, improve their quality, which in turn improves the quality of roads and man-made structures.

The transfer of the project to the site requires the performance of measurements and constructions with high accuracy. Changes in the technology of geodetic works related to the computerization of geodesy, the introduction into geodetic practice of electronic geodetic instruments and automated processing programs, require the introduction into production of both traditional methods of geodetic measurements and new technologies and methods of geodetic works. Despite the fact that geodetic works are an integral part of construction, in the regulations on surveys, design and construction of roads and man-made structures quite limited regulation of the content of work on the transfer of projects to the field, division work, executive surveys, geodetic quality control, accuracy requirements, etc. Given the current state of regulatory and legal support for geodetic support of road construction sites, it is advisable to develop a national standard for the implementation of geodetic surveying and geodetic control in the construction of road construction sites. This standard will supplement the main provisions of regulations on the construction of roads and transport facilities. With the growing volume of design, construction and overhaul of roads, it is necessary to standardize all stages of design and construction work, including those related to geodetic production. The development of technologies and methods of geodetic works related to the computerization of geodesy requires the introduction into production of both traditional methods of geodetic measurements and new technologies and methods of geodetic works. Based on the analysis and generalization of regulatory support for geodetic support of design and construction of roads and artificial structures, the need to develop a national standard for geodetic surveying and geodetic control in the construction of road construction as a supplement to the basic provisions of regulations on road construction and transport facilities.

Currently, the digitalization of construction projects is becoming a reality. The energy model of a build-ing (BEM) is being introduced into the design practice, which does not allow directly solving the prob-lems of designing engineering systems of a building. There is a gap in approaches to building a digital building information model. On the one hand, there is the maximum use of information from the digital model during design calculations. On the other hand, there is a simplification of mathematical models for solving problems related to the design of engineering systems. Many important tasks of design and op-eration of engineering systems are not solved in conjunction with the premises of the building. It is pro-posed to use the representation of the building as a graph, which will allow you to solve the problems of design and operation of engineering systems correctly. Most of the necessary information is already pre-sent in the building information model and can be extracted from it automatically. As an example of con-verting information from a digital model, the problem of determining the heat loss of premises was cho-sen. This task is a mandatory part of any project. Existing software products do not allow you to automat-ically determine the dimensions of the enclosing structures of the room that are necessary for solving the problem, and do not take into account the relative location of the premises. These reasons determine the need to develop the application. Materials and methods: To solve the problems of design and operation of engineering systems of a building, it is proposed to use a topological model of a building, which is a connected graph, the compo-nents of which are a base subgraph describing the connections between the premises of the building and subgraphs of engineering systems. The data structure and algorithm for forming a basic building sub-graph based on a digital building model are presented Results: The software application that implements the proposed algorithm was tested on the calculation of heat loss in the premises of a building. A 3D model of a 10-storey residential building was used as the object of the experiment. As a result of the experiment, a reduction in the time required for the prepara-tion of the initial information and for the calculation was revealed from 8 hours to 20 minutes.. Conclusions: Taking into account the relative location of building premises and life support systems in the topological model of the building allows solving problems of environmental and fire safety, optimiz-ing design solutions for supply, exhaust, smoke ventilation systems and other tasks. The developed soft-ware module designed for calculating the heat loss of premises is the first step in the development of software products that use a digital model of a building as the initial information for building a topologi-cal model.

The goals of real business in the context of the digital transformation of international logistics networks and marketing channels have necessitated the application of a scientifically based theoretical approach to the development of a formalized description acceptable for predictive planning based on leading indicators. In the context of globalization and interstate and regional economic unions, this will lead to achieving the maximum end-to-end integration of digital platforms. Based on the analysis, the article presents the integration of digital logistics and marketing approaches with the mathematical models of the ecosystem organization of economic relations. The features of the organization of economic relations between contractors involved in the execution of virtual transactions and the material movement of resources were analyzed. The researchers considered prerequisites for the analytical description of interconnections between the participants of digital platforms in cross border e-commerce. The authors’ approach is based on the idea of both a sales funnel in marketing and a conversion funnel in digital transformation. Considering the integration of logistics and marketing, authors offer the definition of business echelons as stages of the consumer value creation. The theoretical contribution of this article consists in constructing a mathematical description of business echelons along the entire value chain. The developed analytical description of business echelons is acceptable both for embedding a digital management support system into various software products, and for conducting in-depth analysis and finding optimal solutions.

Purpose This study is a comparative organizational analysis of the four subsectors of the Indian information technology (IT) industry, namely, IT service (ITS), business process outsourcing (BPO), software products services (SPS) and engineering and R&D (ER&D). The purpose of this paper is to empirically identify the cross-sectorial attributes, organizational characteristics and the talent best suited to it. Design/methodology/approach Data were collected using a qualitative research design with semi-structured interviews of 17 industry experts. Findings Findings suggest there are differences in the internal organization of each subsector and this influences the talent attracted toward it. ITS and BPO are perceived as customer driven sectors where technology is an enabler to facilitate smooth functioning of customer operations. Conversely, technology is the core factor that drives SPS and ER&D. Similar observations and differences in the design, environment, individual motives and competencies are identified. The study also identified the inter-relationships between organizational characteristics, task and social structures in the IT industry using Perrow’s organizational theory. Research limitations/implications The findings identify contextual dimensions and shared patterns that exist between the subsectors. At the same time, it distinguishes each subsector in terms of observable and objective characteristics. Significantly, the study highlights the inter-relationships between technology, task, raw material, goal and social interactions. However, the authors stop short of framing hypotheses to test the relationships identified here. Originality/value This cross-sectorial study delineates between the four subsectors and provides a foundation for pursuing future investigations in the right direction. This attempt to systematically analyze and compare all the subsectors of the IT industry simultaneously is a distinctive approach. The sectorial diversity suggests a need for talent management practices that will fit the unique characteristics of each subsector.

The work is focused on the prepress and possibilities of its automation. The article provides a brief overview of main prepress operations together with software products available for their automation. The information on problematic areas of prepress processing and current use of software tools and prepress automation in the Czech Republic was gathered via the survey with almost a hundred participating companies. The questions about the type of company, the number of its employees and the number of orders received per day were also included so that the results could be better evaluated. As expected, most of the problems in prepress are connected to the printing data received from customers. The reported frequency of different issues and the time needed for the corrections are presented. The results also show that while almost half of the participating companies use a workflow system, which is the main means of automation, often it is not used to the full extent. Further, different possibilities of automated processing were demonstrated for three common issues selected on the basis of the survey results. The tasks included correction of files with default printer marks and a missing bleed, which belong to the most frequent problems, and adding the missing data for processing steps; this issue does not occur so often, but the participating companies reported they spend more time with its solution. The example PDF files were created in Adobe Illustrator and then processed in Adobe Acrobat, Callas pdfToolbox Desktop, Xerox FreeFlow Core, Enfocus PitStop Pro, and Esko Automation Engine. It was verified that when the given software includes the appropriate editing functions and the automated processing is employed, all the tasks can be accomplished very quickly – in the case of the example printing data, it was in less than a minute, usually in a few seconds. Based on the findings, the applicability and benefits of the alternatives considered are outlined. The comparison of functionality of the software tested and a number of their implementations in the participating companies suggests the important role of local resellers and support.

Abstract Formation of parametric structure digital model are considered. Investigation was based on the analysis of the shaping evolution of the analytical surface in the form of a hyperboloid of rotation. Finite element frame represents a spatial plate-rod system has been developed during creation of the digital model. This scheme allows to study the effectiveness of constructive solutions under dynamic influence at the design stage. Dynamic characteristics of various design solutions are considered in process of choosing a rational variant of the building frame. The influence of the inclusion of outrigger floor in the model of the frame at various levels of the building are investigated. The proposed method of research and application of the possibilities of the shaping evolution allows to proceed to the modernization of BIM technologies in the design of unique buildings. Recommendations for refining the algorithm for studying parametric object digital models were developed.

Abstract Structure and utilisation possibilities of channel digital model in example of Vistula river in Warsaw. During the analysis of channel processes, high dynamicity of fluvial environments in the area of Polish Lowland imposes the necessity to use spatial channel models, always defined for specific flow conditions. In this paper, a procedure to construct a digital model of the Vistula channel zone morphology in a GIS environment has been proposed, based on: results of the bathymetric examinations conducted by means of an assembly consisting of an echosounder coupled with a DGPS receiver; GNSS RTK measurements; analysis of remote sensing materials and digital terrain model. Examples regarding the use of so created models to characterise the environment of the Warsaw Vistula channel have been presented. The Vistula channel within the examined segment is a form with diverse morphodynamics. It consists of a quasi-natural zone, characterised by a relative ease of erosion and deposition processes, and an engineered channel zone. Apart from the hydrotechnical structures, a factor which conditions the character of contemporary channel processes along the engineered segment is its geological structure, mainly morphology and lithology of the contemporary Vistula alluvia substratum.
