In writing a research report requires good management, starting from the start to the end pages must be neatly arranged in accordance with existing rules. In managing the research report method, a researcher can use a variety of methods available, tailored to what he studies. This study discusses the introduction of path analysis, the notion of path analysis, which is a method for studying the direct effects or indirect effects of hypothesized variables as the causes of the effects of variables needed in research, characteristics of path analysis and terms in path analysis . There are 2 (two) completion of path analysis, namely with simple correlation, completion of path analysis with linear regression. Literary research research methods were used in this study to add insight to researchers regarding writing management. With this research, it is expected to be able to help students who are compiling reports in higher education, and can improve the quality of management of research reports using path analysis methods.

Path coefficient analysis was carried out in tropical pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata Duchesne) for yield per plant as a function of number of fruit per plant and weight per fruit, using phenotypic and genetic correlations from two diallels: one using five varieties (variety diallel) and a second using five S1 lines derived from the varieties (line diallel). A randomized complete block design with five replications was used to evaluate 15 genotypes from each diallel, not including reciprocals. Direct effects were 300 to 500% greater than indirect effects in the line diallel. In contrast, direct effects were only 17 to 68% greater than indirect effects in the variety diallel. Effects (direct and indirect) were greater (17 to 500%) when genetic correlations rather than phenotype correlations (42 to 440%) were used in the path analysis. Fruit weight showed a greater effect on yield than did number of fruit, with values between 3.2 to 4.9 times the residual effects. Fruit weight and number of fruit can be used as selection criteria to increase yield in tropical pumpkin.

Oliver (1977) recently analyzed the direct effects of consumers' expectations and disconfirmation on posttrial evaluations of products using a hierarchical analysis of variance design. The research reported by Oliver is reevaluated and extended in this paper. A causal model is presented and path analysis used to assess both direct and indirect effects of consumers' expectations and a disconfirming experience on ratings of posttrial affect and intentions to purchase. Results suggest that (1) both expectations and disconfirmation influence postexposure ratings of affect with the experience of disconfirmation exerting the greater effect; (2) disconfirmation only indirectly influences intentions to purchase through its impact on affective evaluations; and, (3) expectations influence intentions to purchase in two different ways—both directly and indirectly through posttrial judgments of affect.

The use of quality and certified seeds is an absolute requirement in the construction of the seed garden of coconut plant. Lobu tall coconut is one of the potential coconuts owned by North Sulawesi Province. The research was conducted in Lobu Village, Touluwaan District, Southeast Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province from 2016 to 2018. The purpose of the study was to determine the characters that directly have an impact on the yield using path analysis based on Singh and Chaudary Formula on twelve morphology characters using programme of R i386 3.5.2 package Agricole software. The results of a simple correlation analysis show that there is no relationship between morphological characters and number of fruits, but correlates with the weight of whole fruit. The results of the path analysis showed that only the seed weight character had a direct effect on the weight of whole fruit (r = 0.53) and there were no indirect effects. Seed weight characters can be used as a selection criteria of mother palms to increase coconut productivity of Odeska Lobu coconut.

Using path analysis, we examined the direct effects of students' perceptions of assessment tasks on self-efficacy, and the indirect effects through the students' perception of task value. Data were collected from 2,137 school students in Oman. Their perceptions in terms of congruence with planned learning, authenticity, student consultation, transparency, and diversity were measured using Alkharusi's (2013) Arabic version of Dorman and Knightley's (2006) Perceptions of Assessment Tasks Inventory. Task value and self-efficacy were measured using items from Pintrich, Smith, Garcia, and Mckeachie's (1993) Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire. Results showed that congruence with planned learning and authenticity had direct effects on self-efficacy. Student consultation and diversity affected self-efficacy indirectly via task value. Transparency had a direct positive effect on self-efficacy. Therefore, students' perceptions of assessment tasks had both direct and indirect effects on their self-efficacy and their perception of task value.

The practice of substantiating projects for organizing passenger transportation both in Russia and abroad shows that these projects are unprofitable or unprofitable in terms of financial results. As a rule, due to their social significance, such projects do not allow setting prices for the finished product, ensuring that the received income exceeds the amount of invested funds. At the same time, both in Russia and abroad, projects for organizing passenger transportation are necessary, since their implementation ensures mobility, transport accessibility and other components that characterize the high quality of life of people. Therefore, when justifying projects for organizing passenger transportation, the emphasis in terms of their efficiency is most often shifted from determining direct effects (additional income, cost savings, profit) to obtaining indirect effects, the essence of which boils down to monetizing those results of projects that do not fall into the sphere of direct effects. those. in monetary terms, individual benefits of projects, reflecting various benefits for external and internal project participants, future owners of its results and other stakeholders, called stakeholders in project management. Depending on the circle of persons interested in the project, the attitude of state authorities also depends, without whose financial participation it is practically impossible to implement any project on the organization of passenger transportation today. The article discusses an approach to substantiating the effectiveness of projects for organizing passenger transportation in water transport, focused on identifying indirect effects, with specific examples showing the possible ranges of calculated effects in relation to the practice of water passenger transport enterprises.

Abstract Background Various agents such as psychosocial items and accident proneness can affect cognitive failures through different paths. The probable paths are the direct effects of workplace psychosocial items on cognitive failures and their indirect effects on cognitive failures through the mediator variable of accident proneness, which has not yet been studied by others. Thus, the present study aimed to investigate these paths. Methods This cross-sectional study was conducted on 164 male employees of Karoon Sugar Company in 2018. The participants were asked to complete a background and demographic questionnaire, Broadbent cognitive failures scale, accident proneness questionnaire, and Copenhagen psychosocial questionnaire. Obtained data were analyzed and modeled using the statistical descriptive method, ANOVA, independent t-test, Pearson correlation test, and path analysis in the SPSS and AMOS software. Results The results of the path analysis showed that, not only, some psychosocial risk items had a significant direct effect on cognitive failures, but also, they could affect cognitive failures through the accident proneness, indirectly. Work-family conflict and social support from supervisors by coefficients of 0.188 and – 0.187 had the highest direct effects, respectively. The highest indirect effects belonged to justice and respect, and work-family conflict by coefficients of - 0.220 and 0.199, respectively. The highest total effects were also related to the work-family conflict and justice and respect by coefficients of 0.387 and – 0.381, respectively. Conclusions In total, our results showed that some psychological items could, directly and indirectly, increase cognitive failure through accident proneness.
