The combination of puppetry and theater creates an alternative offering a new style of treatment in the form of contemporary theater called “Pakeliran Sampakan”. Pakeliran sampakan carries the mission of modernizing traditional art with the hope of being able to answer the public's saturation regarding spectacle that smells Indonesian culture, especially wayang kulit with the target market the young people. “Sang Panggung” is an adaptation of a story from “Nyi Panggung” written by Eko Tunas which tells about the life behind the scenes of the group of tobong Ketoprak Eka Mardhika. The results of the work represent the form of performances by the tobong ketoprak artists, with the story "Sang Panggung". Like the marginalized who are alienated because of their deposed honour by the outside culture, it needs an action by doing 'transmigration'. It doesn’t only mean moving from one island to another but also a change in the human mindset to be renewed towards the sophisticated technology of mass media, in order that traditional arts can always involve in the international competitions.

The marginalization of the Gamelan Batel in Sibanggede Village can be observed in the form of the decrease of the traditional art values in the society, the displacement of traditional arts, the seculariza- tion of the traditional art, the narrowing of the traditional art performances, the hegemony of the modern art to that of the traditional one. Second, there are two factors that cause the Gamelan Batel in Sibanggede Village to be marginalized, namely, internal and external factors. The internal factors include lack of talent, lack of public interest, lack of open attitude, lack of funding from the govern- ment. The external factors are economics, technology and information, the function shift of the tradi- tional gamelan. Third, the impact of the marginalization of the Gamelan Batel in Sibanggede Village is in the form of the failure to form regeneration, failure of reconstruction effort, failure of revitalization effort.

Media is one of the main agents of socialization that affects youth the most. Young adults are majority time are surrounded by the media, which brings me to my main question, "How is Mass Media Affecting Socialization in Children and Young Adults in Albania?" To understand this question one must know and understand what socialization is. The socialization process is a very dramatic impact on a child's life. Socialization is a "Continuing process whereby an individual acquires a personal identity and learns the norms, values, behavior, and social skills appropriate to his or her social position". Mass media has enormous effects on our attitudes and behavior which makes it an important contributor to the socialization process. in some ways mass media can serve as a positive function. It helps there to be more diversity, we can learn more about things that are going on in different countries. It can help you learn new things you did not know. Sadly Media can serve as a negative function in young people life. Young people want to be accepted by society and the media creates the ideal image that tells you what the characteristics are to be accepted and to be able to fit in with society. They show what you should look like, how you can look like this, and where to go to buy these things that will make you look right. This is why many young women deal with anorexia because they want to look like the ideal type that the media displays. Media also influences young people to misbehave. Media shows that being deviant makes you cool and look tough and that it's okay to do deviant things. Statistics show that when young people watch violence on television it increases their appetites to become involved in violence. It opens their minds to violence and makes them aware of crimes and people acting deviant. Many people think that the media does not play a role in the socialization process as much as family, peers and education. But in fact the media plays a strong role in the socialization process. The aim of this study is to see the positive and negative effects that the Albanian media plays in the socialization process in Albania.

Traditional arts and professions are the carriers of our culture because they carry historical background. For this reason, traditional arts and professions and cultural heritage are easily transferred to future generations. While knife was a tool that facilitated human life in the early periods, it turned into an art in time. The art of knife and the techniques and methods used in this art have been used for many years in history. Today, there are many artists who want to prevent the art of knife from turning into a craft. They intend to take this art to an even more advanced level. In this study, we interviewed three artists as samples who dealt with knifemaking by addressing the art of knife in Düzce. Interviews and works with the artists are visualized in this work. Thus, what has been done about the art of knife in Düzce, which methods and techniques are applied have been revealed. Along with the previous methods applied to this art, traditional Turkish arts such as marbling, illumination and miniature were used as a surface decoration technique in the art of knife which is a branch of Turkish metal arts. The aim of the study is to show the path that knife art has taken from its historical background to the present day and to show the feasibility of new methods in this field and thus to indicate that knife art is open to development. It is believed that this work, in which interviews and images obtained are evaluated using a descriptive analysis, will contribute to literature related to traditional art and the art of knife. Keywords: Knife art, jewelry, metal art, cultural heritage, traditional art
