Photographic art is a mediator to convey visual communication messages to the public about a thing or event. Photos can be interpreted as expressions or ways of speaking, telling through visual language. The selection of the exact object, accuracy of the exact moment, accurate angle, advanced exposure of the light, and the beautiful color composition make photography look attractive, thus making the audience of photography immersed in the role created by the photographer using photographical object. Photographic works published on web-page macroworldmania.com are mostly, macro photography works, exploring macro world surround human life. Macro photo objects could reflect on to photographs of small animals, insects, plants or other small objects, which at first were not visible to the naked eyes. Not just technical, in the macro photography work that is displayed on the webpage, but those photographs also contained innovative messages with narrative stories and sparks of the dramatization that are conveyed, so that they appear more attractive. The demonstration of messages or narratives in this story becomes the essence of visual communication in macro photography. The dramatization displayed in the macro photography works on this page is able to provide an image of an animal or plant object or a small object, not only becoming bigger and easier to see, but also full of surprises, attracting attention and arousing curiosity. Dramatization arises if the object image has a point of interest (POI) and attention is always maintained so that the work created is able to drown the soul, emotions and thoughts of the audience. Dramatic elements built with the innovations of macro photography story messages are able to seize the attention and bring an atmosphere of high-quality communication in reference to the knowledge and experience of the audience. The challenges of these innovations are the main study of this research, so that the art of macro photography can still exist to communicate in the digital era marked by abundance of information (disruptive information).

Indonesian is the identity of all Indonesian citizens. Language itself is very important for human life. With language, we can communicate with one another, considering that humans are social creatures who cannot live without each other's help. However, the use of language should not be underestimated. The use and pronunciation must be properly understood so that there are no misunderstandings or other unwanted things. The development of the times and globalization have affected the existence of languages that are currently starting to lose their authenticity. One example is the use of slang as a daily word until the authenticity (original word) is slowly forgotten. As well as the use of foreign languages that are more attractive to the millennial generation. The lack of interest of the younger generation in learning linguistic rules is also one of the factors in changing the existence of Indonesian. The background of the research is about the existence of language, especially Indonesian to the changing era. The purpose of writing this paper is to show the public, especially the millennial generation the importance of maintaining the existence of linguistic rules. Because as good citizens we must maintain and preserve our national identity.

Reflections on the issue of human life, its quality and duration, have contributed to health being increasingly considered a common good – a public good. Changes in perspectives relating to human life and health led to protection of life being recognized as the highest good and the greatest gift offered to a man. Society entrusted this task to a public authority. The public authority, recognizing that protection of the health of the citizens is one of its most important tasks, initiates and creates a system where the tasks related to health protection are implemented in an efficient and organized manner. The basic criterion for a patient’s selection of a medical facility is quality and effectiveness of provided services, assuming their availability. The adopted procedures for managing and financing the health system in a given country significantly influence the quality and effectiveness of provided medical services. This article will present the functional principles of healthcare systems in Germany and in France, the organization of these systems and their main elements and interrelationships. The aim of the article is to compare the management and financing systems for healthcare in both countries. The healthcare systems in both Germany and France are derived from the insurance model. However, these two countries have different approaches to management and financing, and accordingly, they understand the role and the responsibility of the state in this process differently. In order to achieve the article’s goal, documents including the leading positions in Polish and foreign literature relating to the merits of the issues, together with the available literature published by institutions, have been examined and reviewed.

With the recent trend of applying machine learning in every aspect of human life, it is important to incorporate fairness into the core of the predictive algorithms. We address the problem of predicting the quality of public speeches while being fair with respect to sensitive attributes of the speakers, e.g. gender and race. We use the TED talks as an input repository of public speeches because it consists of speakers from a diverse community and has a wide outreach. Utilizing the theories of Causal Models, Counterfactual Fairness and state-of-the-art neural language models, we propose a mathematical framework for fair prediction of the public speaking quality. We employ grounded assumptions to construct a causal model capturing how different attributes affect public speaking quality. This causal model contributes in generating counterfactual data to train a fair predictive model. Our framework is general enough to utilize any assumption within the causal model. Experimental results show that while prediction accuracy is comparable to recent work on this dataset, our predictions are counterfactually fair with respect to a novel metric when compared to true data labels. The FairyTED setup not only allows organizers to make informed and diverse selection of speakers from the unobserved counterfactual possibilities but it also ensures that viewers and new users are not influenced by unfair and unbalanced ratings from arbitrary visitors to the ted.com website when deciding to view a talk.

This chapter presents a model of the interaction of media outlets, politicians, and the public with an emphasis on the tension between truth-seeking and narratives that confirm partisan identities. This model is used to describe the emergence and mechanics of an insular media ecosystem and how two fundamentally different media ecosystems can coexist. In one, false narratives that reinforce partisan identity not only flourish, but crowd-out true narratives even when these are presented by leading insiders. In the other, false narratives are tested, confronted, and contained by diverse outlets and actors operating in a truth-oriented norms dynamic. Two case studies are analyzed: the first focuses on false reporting on a selection of television networks; the second looks at parallel but politically divergent false rumors—an allegation that Donald Trump raped a 13-yearold and allegations tying Hillary Clinton to pedophilia—and tracks the amplification and resistance these stories faced.

Total knee replacement (TKR) is a remarkable achievement in biomedical science that enhances human life. However, human beings still suffer from knee-joint-related problems such as aseptic loosening caused by excessive wear between articular surfaces, stress-shielding of the bone by prosthesis, and soft tissue development in the interface of bone and implant due to inappropriate selection of TKR material. The choice of most suitable materials for the femoral component of TKR is a critical decision; therefore, in this research paper, a hybrid multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM) tactic is applied using the degree of membership (DoM) technique with a varied system, using the weighted sum method (WSM), the weighted product method (WPM), the weighted aggregated sum product assessment method (WASPAS), an evaluation based on distance from average solution (EDAS), and a technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS). The weights of importance are assigned to different criteria by the equal weights method (EWM). Furthermore, sensitivity analysis is conducted to check the solidity of the projected tactic. The weights of importance are varied using the entropy weights technique (EWT) and the standard deviation method (SDM). The projected hybrid MCDM methodology is simple, reliable and valuable for a conflicting decision-making environment.

This study uses a qualitative approach to examine what political and technical leaders of municipalities understand transparency and public information to mean, and what role they believe the different subjects involved (government, opposition, and the public) should have. The websites of 605 Spanish councils with more than 100,000 inhabitants were analysed and three focus groups were held with political and technical leaders from a selection of sample councils. The results show that the technical and political leaders of the councils do not have a clear awareness of their function of management accountability or of the need to apply journalistic criteria to the information they publish, defending with nuances the use of propaganda criteria to focus on the actions of the local government, its information, the lack of space dedicated to public debate and the opposition’s actions. In relation to accountability and citizen participation, they have a negative view of citizens, who they describe as being disengaged. However, they emphasize that internally it is essential to continue improving in terms of the culture of transparency and the public information they provide citizens.
