Background and Study Aim. The inclusion of beach volleyball in the program of the Olympic Games gave some impetus to the development of scientific research on various problems of training athletes. Most of the research results are presented in journals included in the Web of Science Core Collection. However, the publication of research results in journals from national databases remains outside the scope of this database. The aim of this study is to systematically review the scientific literature on various beach volleyball issues in Russian-language scientific resources. Material and Methods. The sources of information were the authoritative database Web of Science Core Collection, Russian Science Citation Index, Scientific Electronic Library eLIBRARY.RU (Russia), National Repositary of Academic Texts (Ukraine). Data extraction from these databases was carried out using the keywords “volleyball” / “beach”. A total of 1,875 documents were found for the keyword “volleyball”. Of these, the keyword “beach” - 273 documents. Further analysis was carried out on 273 documents. The search query results were recorded in the form of tables and a special text file, which were processed in the VOSviewer 1.6.17 program. Results. The most significant and more popular subject categories, journals, authors, articles, keywords have been identified. The relationship between keywords and individual groups of publications has been established. A method for extracting data from the Scientific Electronic Library eLIBRARY.RU in a semiautomatic mode is presented. The trends in the development of beach volleyball in various aspects of the training of elite athletes and the sports reserve, the health-improving function of beach volleyball for youth are shown. Conclusions. Differences in the content of research between Russian-language and English-language resources are a good complement to each other. This fact may contribute to solving the problems of beach volleyball and international cooperation of researchers.

The author reviews the e-library of the proceedings of the scientific workshop: Information Support of Science: New Technologies, hold by the RAS Library for Natural Sciences since 1985. The original computer system to support the e-library was designed by the Library specialists in 2005. The author examines the EL information foundation comprising four databases (personalia, institutions, sources, publications), and the entry structure. Today, the new version of the software has been developed, and all information accumulated in the former EL version has been converted into the new one. The new integrated computer system consists of the administration and user modules: the data are entered and edited within the former, and the latter is a special retrieval system for searching articles in the EL. The electronic library of the workshop proceedings is available free via the RAS LNS website (http://www.benran.ru/ libsem/). Search by various fields is characterized: by words in the title, by author’s name, year of publication, (author’s) institution. The queries examples are given, the navigation through bibliographic entry elements is demonstrated.

We report on solving the problem of forming a Russian-language text collection (dataset) consisting of bibliographic descriptions of scientific articles for training classifiers. Various approaches to creating such collections are considered. The expediency of using expert estimates for assigning class labels is assessed. The known datasets are analyzed, the requirements for the generated text array are formulated, and the choice of the subject area (Computer Science) is justified. We propose a technology of forming collection in conditions of the shortage of Russian-language articles. To do this we use automated translation of publications (bibliographic descriptions) from available English-language electronic libraries (ACM digital library, IEEE Xplore digital library, CiteSeerX) with additional expert quality control of the translation. The bibliographic collection thus formed was studied using methods of clustering (Latent Semantic Analysis) and visualization (Principal Component Analysis). Training and test samples were compiled and «standard» classifiers (K-Nearest Neighbor Method, Logistic Regression, Random Forest) were used. Then we calculated standard quality measures (accuracy, precision, recall). The rigid and soft classification were carried out. For rigid and soft classification all calculated measures (for the studied classifiers) ranged within [0.79; 0.87], and [0.91; 0.95], respectively. The experiments showed almost identical results for Russian and English bibliographic descriptions (the difference did not exceed 2%). The proposed method of forming text collections reduces the complexity of the labeling process compared to the expert approach, solves the problem of the lack of Russian-language documents, allows formation of sufficiently large balanced bibliographic datasets for training and testing classifiers.

Abstract Objectives As personal health data are being returned to patients with increasing frequency and volume, visualizations are garnering excitement for their potential to facilitate patient interpretation. Evaluating these visualizations is important to ensure that patients are able to understand and, when appropriate, act upon health data in a safe and effective manner. The objective of this systematic review was to review and evaluate the state of the science of patient-facing visualizations of personal health data. Methods We searched five scholarly databases (PubMed, Embase, Scopus, ACM Digital Library [Association for Computing Machinery Digital Library], and IEEE Computational Index [Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Computational Index]) through December 1, 2018 for relevant articles. We included English-language articles that developed or tested one or more patient-facing visualizations for personal health data. Three reviewers independently assessed quality of included articles using the Mixed methods Appraisal Tool. Characteristics of included articles and visualizations were extracted and synthesized. Results In 39 articles included in the review, there was heterogeneity in the sample sizes and methods for evaluation but not sample demographics. Few articles measured health literacy, numeracy, or graph literacy. Line graphs were the most common visualization, especially for longitudinal data, but number lines were used more frequently in included articles over past 5 years. Article findings suggested more patients understand the number lines and bar graphs compared with line graphs, and that color is effective at communicating risk, improving comprehension, and increasing confidence in interpretation. Conclusion In this review, we summarize types and components of patient-facing visualizations and methodologies for development and evaluation in the reviewed articles. We also identify recommendations for future work relating to collecting and reporting data, examining clinically actionable boundaries for diverse data types, and leveraging data science. This work will be critically important as patient access of their personal health data through portals and mobile devices continues to rise.

This study considered the development, awareness, adoption, and usage of digital library (DL) resources at the university level. To develop and implement a successful electronic library resource system, it is vital to review the success factors and identify the most important technological aspects of DL resources. Electronic library information technology was described and grouped into several categories that influence user satisfaction in a DL context. These are open access to information, the facility of access, uncomplicated interface design, high quality of the communication process, Internet performance, performance assurance service, ease of communication via social network, and patron-driven acquisition. With these important features of DL services, the simplicity of accessing online information and the performance of DL utilities have become of paramount importance. Several research works were therefore reviewed and evaluated to determine the usability of DL services; thereafter, the design of the DL discovery system was developed through Blacklight open-source software.

An approach for formal verification of UML 2.0 using mapping OWL-DL in UML 2.0 is proposed. As a result, an original approach for mapping OWL-DL to UML 2.0 through description logic has been proposed. The completeness of the mapping of UML-OWL through stereotypes and labeled UML 2.0 values at the level of M0, M1 of the MOF metamodel is provided. A model of the information object (IO) for the semantic electronic library, which is described by using the UML language, is proposed. The proposed IO model was also verified by mapping it into OWL and then validating the constructed ontology by using risoners.

Problem Statement: Regardless of the significant increase in the use of digital libraries during the Covid-19 pandemic, distribution of its publications has not been mapped as a form of scientific communication. Purpose: Therefore, this research aims to describe and map the information on digital libraries during the pandemic on international publications Scopus indexed. Method: The bibliometric assessment method was used to collect data from 66 publications on the Scopus database. The writer simultaneously used search keywords such as “Digital Library,” “Electronic Library,” and “Covid-19” to determine the publications from January 2020-June 2021. Results: The result showed that 23 (34.8%) out of 66 publications had high relevance to digital libraries during the pandemic, while 74% are scientific journal articles. The country with the largest contribution is the USA, while the largest publisher with only 35% open publications is Emerald. Meanwhile, the central topics in this research map include “Pandemic”, “Covid”, “Library”, and “Services”. Conclusion: The distribution of publications as a form of academic communication has not intertwined, as indicated by the absence of linkage between each author, thereby creating a high potential for studies and publications related to this topic. In addition to increasing the digital literacy of librarians and users, the transformation to high-tech virtual and digital services also stands as an adaptation effort.
