This study aims to access information about how college students collectively build action schemes in structural molecular level. The research had two situations presented to six students and Bachelor Degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of ABC involving content on Liquid Chromatography. The speeches of students organized in groups were recorded in audiovisual and subjected to Textual Analysis Discourse and grounded in the theory of Conceptual Fields (Vergnaud, 1996). The results were assessed, evidence of the collective construction of a scheme characterized by relevant conceptual relationships at the molecular structural field, but incomplete. Key words: theory of conceptual fields, collective schemes, chemical bonds.

The paper attempts to project Bhim Rao Ambedkar as one of the foremost liberal feminists who advocated for Hindu women’s legal rights through the constitutional provisions listed in the Hindu Code Bill. He proposed four major stipulations, “one change is that, the widow, the daughter, the widow of predeceased-son. All are given the same rank as the son in the matter of inheritance. In addition to that, the daughter is also given a share in her father’s property: her share is prescribed as half of that of the son.”[1] To contemplate the predicament and marginalized position of Indian women, Ambedkar posited that caste and gender are intertwined. The imposition of endogamy was made compulsory by Brahaminical hierarchy which eulogized by Hindu religious scriptures to ensure sustained subjectivity of women, which eventually depreciated the egalitarian position of women. The focal point of the research paper remains a close textual analysis of Ambedkarite canon with archival study and genealogical examination contouring the discourse. The paper also encompasses potent reasons to establish the differences between the marginalization of upper-caste women and Dalit women. Difference between them is maintained by the ‘graded inequality.’ After having observed such differences, the paper intends to extend the idea that Ambedkar worked as a socio-political champion for Dalit women and Indian women concomitantly. To guarantee the freedom, equality, and individuality of Indian women, Ambedkar resorted to legalized mechanism and constitutional provisions. Key Words: Ambedkar, Hindu Code Bill, Manusmriti, Indian Women, Dalit Women, Indian Feminism, Caste, Patriarchy

Abstract This paper will analytically study the Islamic meaning of akhlaq as portrayed by two Western writers in the article entitled “Akhlak” published in the Encyclopedia of Islam. The author highlights the contribution of Western scholars especially Walzer and Gibb to the understanding of history of the development of Islamic thought and disciplines. By employing the qualitative methodology, the author uses textual analysis and comparative method on the writings of both thinkers and others.  Findings indicate that there are several weaknesses in the writing that include limiting the scope of akhlaq to practical ethics of selected virtues, the lacking of clear detachment between akhlaq and ethical thought, and others.  Key words: Ethics, Akhlaq, Philosophy, Islam, Encyclopedia of Islam.

The marine environment in the Ekofisk area was assayed for the presence of oil components after the blowout on Platform Bravo was brought under control. Several methods of assay were used but the results were not always strictly comparable. Relatively high fluorescence values were observed in water samples in the vicinity of the platform. However, gas–liquid chromatography of these samples indicated that although some of the hydrocarbon fractions now resembled crude oil, none had increased markedly in concentration. The presence of oil could be detected in the biota and taste panels were able to identify an oily taint at low level in some fish caught near the platform. A second survey some 2 mo after the spill indicated that little, if any, oil from the blowout remained in the water column. Key words: Ekofisk, petroleum, surface film, water, sediment, fish

Concentrations of n-alkanes ranged from <20 ng/ℓ to about 1 μg/ℓ at depths of 2 and 50 m. Estimated oil concentrations based on fluorescence analyses ranged from 0.2 to 9.3 μg/ℓ. The highest concentrations occurred in Bedford Basin; the similarity of fluorescence contour plots to petroleum products and the presence of unresolved envelopes in chromatograms suggest that a large portion of the hydrocarbons in the Basin are derived from oil. Hydrocarbons in other regions appear to be principally biogenic in origin. Key words: Oil detection, northwest Atlantic, gas–liquid chromatography, fluorescence spectroscopy

Introduction: Physiotherapy is an emerging field in healthcare with innumerable benefits and its demand continues to increase. Often asked what physical therapy is and what does a physiotherapist do? It is very difficult to restrict its definition to a few words since the profession is holistic in approach. The junior college students are eligible to pursue Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree. It is important to have awareness regarding the profession that is related to their field of interest. Method: The cross sectional study was undertaken with the help of google form which was distributed to 280 junior college students with biology as elective subject. Data was collected and statistically analyzed. Results: 97.1% know physiotherapy as a health care profession. 53.9% think that they need a referral from a doctor to visit a physiotherapist. Most of them got the information about the field from their relatives and doctors. 73.6% will consider it as a profession. Purposive sampling was used towards 220 college students. The criteria of the samples were students who already took entrepreneurship subject for bachelor degree and entrepreneurship practicum for vocational studies. This study used Mann-Whitney U-Test through SPSS and partial least squares through SmartPLS. This study finds: 1) attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control have a positive significant impact towards entrepreneurial intention, 2) entrepreneurship education has a positive significant impact towards entrepreneurial intention,3) entrepreneurship education failed to moderate any of the theory of planned behavior variables effect toward entrepreneurial intention, 4) gender failed to moderate the relationship between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intention, 5) there was no difference on the level of entrepreneurial intention between male and female college students, 6)  there was no difference on the level of entrepreneurial intention between bachelor degree and vocational studies students.

This study explores the cybersecurity risk disclosure differences between foreign firms listed in the US and US firms. We first extract cybersecurity risks disclosures text with a Python program based on a list of cybersecurity key words. We then perform textual analysis of the cybersecurity risk disclosures in foreign firms’ 20-F filings and US firms’ 10-K filings. During our study period, we observe that foreign firms disclose more about their cybersecurity risks and their disclosures are more readable than US firms. Foreign firms also use more numbers, fewer uncertainty words and fewer litigious language than their US counterparts.  In general, our study suggests that cybersecurity risk disclosures made by foreign firms are clearer and more specific than those made by US firms. This finding could have implications for disclosure regulation and home bias research.

Abstract Dror Abend-David’s Scorned My Nation in its comparative literary analysis of the German, Yiddish and Hebrew translations of The Merchant of Venice concludes that cultural context and political intentions changed dramatically between the two Hebrew translations in 1921 and 1972, limiting his textual analysis to the closing line of Shylock’s famous speech: ‘it shall go hard’. I examine two key words in that speech in the two translations to detect which biblical texts the translator called on, consciously or unconsciously, and gauge what the literary resources of the Hebrew language can make of Shylock and his complaint and whether the language portraying Shylock and his complaint did actually change over those fifty years.
