Background: Hospital services are the amenities provided by a hospital both for the patients and the workforces. Periodical assessment of hospital service quality discovers the demands and needs thus ensuring the development of the institution. The aim of the study to find out the problems regarding hospital services and its solution. Materials and methods: This observational study was conducted among the health personnel of Chattogram Maa-O-Shishu Hospital from 01 July to 30 August 2019 and 01 January to 29 February 2020. Purposive sampling technique was followed to collect data from 100 randomly selected samples. They were interviewed with pretested questionnaire and data were managed manually. Results: Different findings were drawn. These are: Lack of work dedication, responsibility, loyalty and internal co-operation among the staff (60%). Lack of manpower including doctors, nursing staff, cleaners and few recruitments are not so experienced as to fulfill the demands of their duty (56%). The number of beds is less compared to the number of patients who need them e.g. ICU, CCU, NICU, Paediatric ICU Adult medicine ward, etc. Hence patients are referred outside (46%). Patient visiting hours and number of visitors not properly maintained. Visitors make noise, take food on patient’s bed and sometime physically assault employees when they are asked to obey rules (40%). However, overall job satisfaction of the respondents was 78%. Conclusion: Ascertaining the issues regarding the improvement of hospital services is mandatory. Quick detection and early solution would gain confidence by employees and beneficiary which would ultimately boost up the reputation of the hospital. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of organizational culture and compensation on job satisfaction and its implications on the intention to move the nurse at the Regional General Hospital dr. Soekardjo Tasikmalaya. The results of this study can be useful practically and theoretically, i.e. as material development management of human resources, especially nurses in order to improve the quality and productivity of hospital services as well as lowering the intention of migration of nurses. The research method uses a quantitative approach, with the nature of this research was descriptive and verification. How to capture data through interviews and questionnaire with the techniques of observation and field Study, with the sampling technique of sampling is simple. The collection of Data in the field is done in 2019. Statistical analysis techniques to test hypotheses using Path Analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the culture of the organization, compensation, job satisfaction and intentions to move in general is pretty good. There is the influence of organizational culture and compensation as well as job satisfaction simultaneously on work satisfaction, as well as have a negative effect on the intention to move from the nurses in the Regional General Hospital dr. Soekardjo Tasikmalaya.

Background: The impact of gender differences in the labor market cannot be neglected when studying job satisfaction among doctors. This study aimed to assess the gender differences in a ten-items Warr–Cook–Wall (WCW) job satisfaction scale among Iraqi medical doctors.  Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted between January and June 2014 in Iraq. The multistage sampling technique was recruited to collect the data from 20 health institutions. A total of 576 doctors returned the self-administered questionnaire (response rate= 87.3%). Student t-test and the Pearson correlation tests were used to analyzing the data. Results:  Female doctors rated the overall job satisfaction index significantly higher than their peer male colleagues (P <0.001). Findings of student t-test showed a significant gender difference; women doctors appeared more satisfied than men in the freedom to choose the method of working, satisfied with their colleagues and fellow workers, amount of responsibility given to them, income, opportunity to use their abilities, hours of work and the amount of variety in the job. In contrast, the Pearson correlation coefficient results indicated a high satisfaction among male doctors than females in terms of recognition for good work (P =0.02) and the physical working condition (P =0.04), respectively. Conclusion: Analysis of data based on indices rather than the only overall job satisfaction appeared as an efficient method to understand gender differences. The possibility of increasing the representation of women in recognition and awards may raise the level of job satisfaction.

This study aimed to find out partially and simultaneously the influences of job satisfaction and organizational commitment on turnover intention of nursing staff at Bunda General Hospital Palembang. This study used qualitative data through questionnaire statements quantified using a Likert scale of 1-5 points to measure the attitudes, opinions, and perceptions. The total population was 144 people of which 20 of them were used in the survey before starting this study. Therefore, the number of samples was 124 people using the population sampling technique. The data were collected by using a questionnaire that had been tested for its validity and reliability with the result that it was reliable and usable. Multiple Regression Analysis Technique was used to analyze the collected data. The results of the study showed that partially the job satisfaction and organizational commitment had a significant influence on turnover intention; and simultaneously, had a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. The findings are expected to be used to improve the performance of nursing staff by providing authority according to task performance, recognition as appreciation for success in completing work well, and increasing organizational commitment to reduce the intention to quit or leave the company.

Abstract : Workload is a comparison between actual workload and effective work time. Job satisfaction is the level of one's feelings after comparing the performance / results they feel with their expectations. Based on a preliminary study at the RSU GMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado Hospital that the number of nurses is not proportional to the number of patients, so each nurse is responsible for 10-11 patients, so complaints from several nurses about shifting or overtime are often hear. Purpose of the research was to determine the relationship workload and job satisfaction of nurses in the adult care room of RSU GMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado. This research method uses analytical design with Cross Sectional approach. Sample with a total sampling technique of 58 respondents. The data obtained was processed using Chi-square test with a degree of significance (α) = 0.05. Conclusion there is a workload relationship with job satisfaction with a value of p (0,000). Keywords : Workload, Job Satisfaction Abstrak : Beban kerja merupakan perbandingan antara beban kerja aktual dan waktu kerja efektif. Kepuasan kerja merupakan tingkat perasaan seseorang setelah membandingkan kinerja/hasil yang dirasakannya dengan harapannya. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan di RSU GMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado bahwa jumlah perawat tidak sebanding dengan jumlah pasien, sehingga setiap perawat bertanggung jawab terhadap 10-11 pasien, sehingga sering terdengar keluhan dari beberapa perawat tentang jadwal shift atau lembur yang tidak menentu. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan beban kerja dengan kepuasan kerja perawat di ruangan perawatan dewasa RSU GMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Sampel dengan teknik pengambilan total sampel sebanyak 58 responden. Data yang diperoleh diolah menggunakan uji Chi-square dengan derajat kemaknaan (α)=0,05. Kesimpulan, ada hubungan beban kerja dengan kepuasan kerja dengan nilai p (0,000). Kata kunci : Beban kerja, Kepuasan kerja.

This research was conducted in 2016 to see the effect of the service delivery system on patient trust in private hospitals in Makassar. The number of patients used as respondents was 115 people, taken using purposive sampling technique, with several criteria set by the author. However, the results of this study indicate that a service delivery system consisting of contact personal and physical support has a positive and significant effect on patient trust

Abstract. This study investigated the mediating role of coping humor in the relationship between emotional intelligence (EI) and job satisfaction. Participants were 398 primary school teachers in China, who completed the Wong Law Emotional Intelligence Scale, Coping Humor Scale, and Overall Job Satisfaction Scale. Results showed that coping humor was a significant mediator between EI and job satisfaction. A further examination revealed, however, that coping humor only mediated two sub-dimensions of EI (use of emotion and regulation of emotion) and job satisfaction. Implications for future research and limitations of the study are discussed.

Logoterapi merupakan terapi untuk menemukan makna positif dibalik sebuah kejadian yang tidak diharapkan. Logoterapi dilaksanakan secara individu maupun berkelompok dalam bentuk konseling dan berorientasi pada pencarian makna hidup individu. Tujuan logoterapi meningkatkan makna pengalaman hidup individu yang diarahkan kepada pengambilan keputusan yang bertanggung jawab. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan rancangan pre-experiment dengan metode pre and post test group, artinya pengumpulan data dilakukan terhadap responden untuk membandingkan kualitas hidup sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan intervensi. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode total sampling yaitu pengambilan seluruh sampel dengan tetap memperhatikan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan. Jumlah pasien yang menjalani hemodialisis di RSUD Ungaran sebanyak 21 orang dan di RSUD Ambarawa sebanyak 25 pasien. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t test dependent. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa dari 46 responden didapatkan rata-rata skor kualitas hidup pasien yang mejalani hemodialisis sebesar 60.22 dengan skor terrendah 55 dan skor tertinggi 69. Bahwa dari 46 responden didapatkan rata-rata skor kualitas hidup pasien yang mejalani hemodialisis sebesar 88.72 dengan skor terrendah 79 dan skor tertinggi 103. Hasil uji statistik dengan uji t test dependent diketahui ada pengaruh logoterapi terhadap kemampuan memaknai hidup pada klien yang menjalani hemodialisis di RSUD Kabupaten Semarang (p value: 0,0001). Saran perlunya peningkatan kemampuan perawat dalam memberikan layanan kesehatan termasuk pemberian atau pemanduan penemuan makna hidup bagi pasien hemodialysis, agar selain dengan hemodialysis, ada faktor internal dari pasien yang dapat dijadikan sebagai motivasi untuk sembuh dari penyakit.   Kata Kunci: Logoterapi, kualitas hidup   IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF PATIENTS WITH RENAL FAILURE WHO UNDERWENT HEMODIALYSIS   ABSTRACT Logotherapy is a therapy to discover the positive meaning behind an unexpected event. Logotherapy is carried out individually or in groups in the form of counseling and oriented to the search for the meaning of individual life. This study aims to improve the quality of life of patients with renal failure who underwent hemodialysis. This research was conducted by using pre-experiment with pre-post test study. The sampling technique was done by the convenience sampling. The number of patients undergoing hemodialysis as many as 46 respondents. Data analysis was done by using test t test dependent. The result showed that from 46 respondents got the mean of quality of life of patients who had hemodialysis 60.22 with lowest score 55 and highest score 69. Whereas from 46 respondents got the mean score of life quality of patients who had hemodialysis 88.72 with score the lowest score 79 and the highest score 103. The result of statistical test with t test dependent is known there is influence of logoterapi to the ability of meaningful life on client who undergo hemodialysis at Semarang Regency hospitals (p value: 0.0001). Advice on the need to improve the nurse's ability to provide health services, including the provision or guidance of the discovery of the meaning of life for hemodialysis patients, in addition to hemodialysis, there are internal factors of the patient that can be used as a motivation to recover from illness.   Keywords: Logotherapy, quality of life, kidney failure.

Kepuasan kerja menjadi masalah yang cukup menarik dan penting, karena terbukti memiliki pengaruh yang besar bagi individu maupun perusahan. Kepuasan kerja merupakan suatu sikap seseorang terhadap pekerjaan yang berhubungan dengan situasi kerja, kerja sama antara karyawan, imbalan yang diterima dalam kerja, dan hal-hal yang menyangkut fisik dan psikologis. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi kepuasan kerja perawat di bangsal medikal bedah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Adapun teknik analisa data dalam penelitian ini dengan analisa univariat untuk mendeskripsikan karekteristik dari variabel yang ada. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan penyebaran kuesioner kepada perawat yang bekerja di rumah sakit tertentu di Kabupaten Timur Tengah Selatan dan Kota Kupang, sampel yang di ambil berjumlah 89 sampel. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini rata-rata kepuasan kerja perawat berada pada kategori netral yang artinya perawat merasa apa yang sudah diterima sesuai dengan pekerjaan yang sudah mereka lakukan hal ini dilihat dari Sembilan kategori yang di telliti yaitu gaji, supervisi, tunjangan tambahan, penghargaan, kondisi kerja, promosi, sifat kerja dan komunikasi kecuali rekan kerja. Saran untuk peneiliti kedepannya agar dapat menggunakan variabel yang lain seperti well-being terhadap kepuasan kerja perawat yang bekerja di rumah sakit.   Kata kunci : kepuasan kerja, perawat   IDENTIFICATION OF NURSE WORK SATISFACTION THAT WORKED IN THE MEDICAL SURGERY OF SURGERY   ABSTRACT Job satisfaction is a problem that is quite interesting and important, because it has proven to have a great influence for individuals and for companies. Job satisfaction is a person's attitude towards work related to work situations, cooperation between employees, rewards received in work, and matters relating to physical and psychological. The purpose of this study was to identify job satisfaction of nurses in the surgical medical ward. This study uses a quantitative approach with a type of descriptive research. The data analysis techniques in this study were carried out by univariate analysis to describe the characteristics of the variables. The sampling technique used questionnaires to nurses who worked in certain hospitals in South Middle East District and Kupang City, the samples taken were 89 samples. . The results obtained from this study mean that the average job satisfaction of certain hospital nurses in East Tengah Selatan District and Kupang City is in the neutral category, which means nurses feel that what they have received is in accordance with the work they have done. telliti namely salary, supervision, additional benefits, rewards, working conditions, promotions, nature of work and communication except coworkers. Suggestions for future researchers to be able to use other variables such as well-being towards job satisfaction for nurses working in hospitals.   Keywords:  job satisfaction, nurse

Jakarta is the place where the largest number of land transportation in Indonesia, according to Djarot in Kompas.com article, vehicles every day increased about 1500 units. And according to an article from Liputan 6, revenue from conventional taxi drivers dropped dramatically after the entry of online transport by 40-50% during 2016 due to the entry of online transport. Conventional taxi companies must immediately anticipate this phenomenon so that their human resources can survive in the company. The purpose of this research are first, to know is there a positive effect from professionalism factors to organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Second, to know job satisfaction factors have a positive effect to organizational commitment. And the last is to know is there a positive effect from rewards factors to job satisfaction and organizational commitment’s factors. This research uses descriptive method with non-probability method. Through judgmental sampling technique, primary data collection was obtained from questionnaire distribution to conventional taxi driver of Soekarno-Hatta Airport. The data has been collected and then obtained by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result of this research indicates that there is positive influence from professionalism to organizational commitment but the data do not support the hypothesis, there is positive influence from professionalism to job satisfaction, but there’s negative effect between job satisfaction and organizational commitment, there is positive relation of rewards to job satisfaction, Finally there is a positive effect of rewards on organizational commitment.
