This study aims to improve speed reading skills by using the P2R method and questions with a horizontal pattern in class X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Leces. This research method uses classroom action research. This research data collection technique using tests, observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of this study indicate an increase in the process of learning to read quickly to find the main idea of paragraphs using the P2R method and questions with a horizontal pattern. The results of the increase in speed reading skills from pre-cycle to cycle I reached an average of 52.88% or 185 kpm, an increase of 4% so that it became 56.88% or 199 kpm. Meanwhile, cycle II also increased by 21.9% from an average of 52.88% to 74.78% or 261 kpm. This shows that the increase in speed reading skills from pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II has increased good results.

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of the squat-style long jump through the application of media box tools for students of SDN 30 Mataram. This research method uses classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 15 fifth grade students at SDN 30 Mataram. The research instrument uses observation, tests, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique of this research used descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the squat style long jump learning through the use of boxed media could increase students' focus and activeness as well as a pleasant learning atmosphere, so that it was proven to improve student learning outcomes.

This study departs from the researcher's experience as a volunteer teacher in a school where students face obstacles in learning English due to a lack of motivation and supporting facilities that impact their English performance. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze beliefs in learning English. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey design using Horwitz's Beliefs About Language Learning Inventory questionnaire as a research instrument. The population in this study found 136 students. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The technique used to analyze the research data is qualitative and quantitative analysis. The findings show that students support various beliefs about learning English. The most common beliefs held by students are motivation and expectations. Students have reasonable confidence in motivation and hope (72.35%) because they have a better education, and a future career can be achieved through good English skills. It can be said that students have good motivation to learn English because they think it will be helpful for their dream job in the future.

The purpose of this study was to determine the readiness of sustainable behavior towards Environmental students of SMA Negeri 3 Ponorogo as a national adiwiyata as a form of EfSD. This research was designed as a quantitative descriptive study. The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Ponorogo. The subjects were students are in SMA N 3 Ponorogo. The data collection technique that researchers used in this study was a questionnaire. The instrument in this study was the NEP questionnaire. Data analysis in this study was carried out using qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results of the questionnaire are known that students' readiness of sustainable behavior on each indicator has shown good results. The limits to growth component shows the results of an understanding of the limitations of the earth in providing natural resources that students have mastered. The anti-anthropocentrism component shows that no student has a high ego towards the environment. The balance of nature component shows students have no potential to damage nature in the future. In the anti-exemptionalism component students can already be responsible for the environment. The eco-crisis component shows that students can already understand about the environmental damage mostly caused by humans.

The purpose of this study for improve the students class X1 skill of SMAN 2 Central Bengkulu Tengah in write descriptive paragraph with estafet writing method. This study design is the design of classroom action research conducted in two cycles, the first cycle and the second cycle. Collecting data on the first cycle and the second cycle using test technique and nontest. The test used is a test action in the form of assignment to write a description, whereas nontest techniques used in the form of guidelines for observation, the journal guidelines, interview guides, and photo documentation guidelines. Data analysis technique of this research is qualitative and quantitative. Quantitative techniques are used to analyze and compare test results pre-cycle, the first cycle, the second cycle, and qualitative techniques used to analyze and compare the results nontest in the first cycle and the second cycle. Based on the analysis of research data, in class X1 totaling 30 students can be concluded that by using the estafet writing method can increase the skill of writing a paragraph descriptive. In the first cycle, the value of an average of 71.65% in the second cycle, the average value of 88.73%, an increase of 17.08%. This means that there is an increase in the skill of writing a paragraph descriptive of the students with estafet writing method. This increase can be seen from the results of tests conducted students in class X SMAN 2 Central Bengkulu 2016/2017 school year that includes the end of the test cycle test cycle I and II.

The purpose of the study was to obtain an overview of the application of Science Learning Based on Ethno-STEM with Digital Microscope, and to find out how the application of Science Learning Based on Ethno-STEM in improving the Science Process Skills of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 29 Idai. The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of four stages in each cycle, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research was conducted in two cycles, each of which consisted of one meeting. The research data collection tools were the observation sheet of science process skills and student worksheets. The data analysis technique used qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results of the assessment of Science Process Skills showed that there was an increase in the ability to observe students from 45.83% to 64.58%, the ability to classify students from 39.58% to 54.17%, the ability to predict students from 43.75% to 56, 25%, the ability to submit hypotheses from 39.58% to 54.17%, the ability to conclude 39.58% to 56.33%, and application skills from 31.25% to 58.33%. So it can be concluded that Ethno-STEM learning assisted by a simple digital microscope can improve the Science Process Skills of SDN 29 Idai students.

This study aims to determine students who have difficulty reading whether it is difficulty distinguishing letters or difficulty spelling a word in grade III of Elementary School at SD Negeri Plawad VI, East Karawang. This research is a type of qualitative research. The population used in this study was 2 of the 21 total students in class III SD Negeri Plawad VI, East Karawang. This data collection technique through interviews and also the A DANA media demonstration method. Interviews were conducted with 4 respondents represented by the Principal, Teachers, Students and also Parents of Students. The data reduction analysis technique in this study is to select the main things that are in accordance with the focus of the research and the researcher uses to classify, direct and discard the data obtained by the researcher in the form of data from interviews, observations, and documentation from informants. So that it can provide a sharper picture of the results of the observations. The results of this study seem to be very helpful for students who have difficulty reading. After learning to read using the A DANA media according to the schedule applied, these students experienced changes such as easier spelling and smoother reading which was different from before.

This study aimed to improve students’ learning activities in Science subjects with material inheritance through Inquiry learning models. The research method used was classroom action research conducted in three cycles. The subjects of this study were students of class IX.A Gangga SMP N 1. The data collection technique used was the observation sheet. Data of the research were analyzed by using descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the study showed that there was a significant increase from cycle I to cycle II, and from cycle II to cycle III to the components studied. From the results of which, therefore, it could be concluded that the implementation of Inquiry learning models had an effect on students learning activities. This was proved by the higher value of students learning activities in each cycle of the actions.

This research is an interpretive reflective research with ethnopragmatic symbolic study theory. The source of the research data was taken from the documents of two makeup artists from Yogyakata, namely the makeup dresser Lisandra and the makeup dresser Hj. Rochayati. The research data are in the form of Javanese traditional wedding document of Yogyakarta style. The data collection technique is in the form of observation of photo documentation to obtain data in the form of a marriage ceremony sequence that uses verbal and nonverbal language from preparation to the end. The data analysis technique is interpretive reflective. The concrete steps of data analysis are (a) identifying documents, (b) classifying the sequences of marriages, and (c) interpreting each stage of the ceremony. The objectives of the research are (1) to describe the form of nonverbal language in traditional marriage ceremonies, and (2) to describe the non-verbal symbolic meaning of non-verbal language in marriage ceremonies. The findings of the research are that (a) the form of Yogyakarta-style traditional wedding events there are 15 stages, ranging from paningsetan to reception, and (b) ethnopragmatic symbolic meaning in general in the form of prayer requests so that what is desired can be realized.AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian reflektif interpretatif dengan teori kajian simbolik etnopragmatik. Sumber data penelitian diambil dari dokumen dua orang juru rias dari Yogyakata, yaitu rias pengantin Lisandra dan rias penantin Hj. Rochayati (nama disamarkan). Data penelitian berupa dokumen foto perkawinan adat Jawa gaya Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dokumentasi foto untuk mendapatkan data berupa urutan upacara perkawinan yang menggunakan bahasa verbal dan bahasa nonverbal dari persiapan sampai dengan akhir. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara reflektif interpretatif. Langkah konkret analisis data adalah (a) mengidentifikasi dokumen, (b) mengklasifikasi urut-urutan acara perkawinan, dan (c) menginterpretasi tiap tahapan upacara. Tujuan penelitiannya adalah (1) mendeskripsikan wujud bahasa nonverbal dalam upacara adat perkawinan, dan (2) mendeskripsikan makna simbolik etnopragmatik bahasa nonverbal dalam upacara adat perkawinan. Temuan hasil penelitian adalah bahwa (a) wujud acara adat perkawinan gaya Yogyakarta terdapat 15 tahapan, mulai dari paningsetan sampai dengan resepsi, dan (b) makna simbolik etnopragmatik pada umumnya berupa doa permohonan agar apa yang diinginkan dapat terwujud.

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemerolehan sintaksis (B1) bahasa “sasak” pada anak usia 4-6 tahun di Lombok Timur melalui permainan tradisional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitin ini adalah klausa atau kalimat (B1). Sumber data diperoleh dari anak usia 4-6 tahun di Lombok Timur selaku penutur asli (B1) bahasa “sasak” di desa Kalijaga, Kecamatan Aikmel, Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik simak dan rekam audio visual. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah mentranskrip data, penerjemahan, pengklasifikasian berdasarkan jenis klausa atau kalimat, dan penganalisisan. Hasil analsis data yang diperoleh adalah terdapat penggunaan kalimat tunggal, di antaranya (1) klausa berdasarkan kelengkapan unsur intinya, di dalamnya terdapat klausa lengkap dan klausa tidak lengkap; (2) klausa berdasarkan struktur internalnya, di dalamnya terdapat klausa berstruktur runtut dan klausa berstruktur inversi; dan (3) klausa berdasarkan unsur negasi pada predikat;. Selain itu, terdapat pula penggunakan kalimat majemuk koordinatif dan kalimat majemuk subordinatif.Kata kunci:  pemerolehan sintaksis B1, anak usia 4-6 tahun,  permainan tradisional       AbstractThe purpose of this study is to investigate the acquisition of syntax (B1) of children aged 4-6 years through traditional games. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The research data is a clause or sentence (B1). Sources of data obtained from children aged 4-6 years as native speakers (B1) of “Sasak” language in the village Kalidjaga, Aikmel sub-district, East-Lombok district. The data collection technique used is the listen and record technique using audio-visual equipment. Data analysis technique used was transcribing the data, translation, classification based on the type of clause or sentence, and analyzing. The results of the analysis of data obtained is a single sentence contained use, including: (1) clause based on the completeness of the point, in which there is a complete clause and the clause is not complete; (2) clause based on the internal structure, in which there is a coherent structured clause, and clause inversion structure; and (3) clause based on a predicate negation element ;. The purpose of this study was to improve mathematics learning outcomes with the subject of calculating the area of a flat shape using a project-based learning model for grade VI students of SD Negeri Pinedapa. This research uses classroom action research which is carried out in 3 cycles. Each cycle is carried out in 4 (four) stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The instruments used in this research were tests, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The research results from each cycle increased. Based on the results of the cycle III test, it was found that the average learning outcome was 80.31 out of 32 students who scored 70-85 there were 21 students, and the range 86-100 had 11 students. The conclusion of this study is that through the use of a project-based learning model it can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes on the subject of calculating the area of a flat shape in class VI SD Negeri Pinedapa.
