This study aims to describe the implementation of mathematical communication skills in teaching linear program with entrepreneurial characteristic to foster the entrepreneurial spirit in students of mathematics education. This study used a qualitative approach, with a type of research is classroom action research, which was conducted in two cycles. Subject of this research is students of mathematics education who take a course in linear program with the total of 25 students. Data were collected through observation, testing, documentation, and field notes. Data were analyzed from early action learning and reflection made up statements. Data analysis techniques used in this research is descriptive qualitative data analysis that includes data reduction, data presentation, analyzing data and drawing conclusions (verification). The validity of the data use triangulation techniques. The results showed that an improvement in mathematical communication skills and foster an entrepreneurial spirit of student in the learning of linear program. This is showed by the data obtained on students’ academic ability success of 76%, the ability of mathematical communications with achievement of 82, 33% and students’ entrepreneurial spirit achieved 79, 67%.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis tertulis siswa melalui pendekatan saintifik. Pelaksanaan tindakan kelas dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA1 MAN Flores Timur berjumlah 32 siswa terdiri dari 13 laki-laki dan 19  perempuan. Pengumpulan data saat penelitian dilakukan dengan cara observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan peneliti adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan komunikasi matematika melalui pendekatan saintifik dengan indikator 1) Menyatakan ide matematis melalui tulisan, gambar, grafik atau tabel sebelum 18,75% sesudah 87,5%, 2) Memahami, menafsirkan dan mengevaluasi ide-ide matematis yang disajikan secara tertulis sebelum 28,125% sesudah 84,375%, 3) Menghubungkan berbagai ide matematis yang disajikan secara tertulis menggunakan istilah-istilah atau symbol matematika secara tepat untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan matematika dengan langkah-langkah yang terstruktur sebelum 6,25% dan sesudah 75%. Dari tiap indikator terdapat peningkatan komunikasi matematika siswa dengan pendekatan saintifik bagi siswa kelas  X MIA1 MAN Flores Timur.Kata kunci: komunikasi matematis, komunikasi matematis tertulis; pendekatan saintifik;  perbandingan trigonometri  AbstractThe study aims to improve students’ written mathematical communication skills through a scientific approach. Classroom action was carried out in two cycles. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIA1 MAN Flores Timur, totaling 32 students consisting of 13 men and 19 women. Data collection methods when research using observations, field notes, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used by researchers are data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The result showed an increase in mathematical communication through a scientific approach with indicators 1) Express mathematical ideas through writing, pictures, graphics or tables before 18.75% after 87.5%, 2) understanding, interpreting and evaluation mathematical ideas presented in the text previously 28.125%  and after 84.375%, 3) connection mathematical ideas presented in writing using mathematical terms or symbols appropriately to solve the mathematical problem with structured steps before 6.25% after 75%. From each indicator, there is an increase in students’ mathematical communication with a scientific approach for students of class X MIA1 MAN Flores Timur.Keywords: mathematical communication; written mathematical communication; scientific approach; trigonometric comparison

The research objective is to increase the wealth of mufrodat through hypnoteaching methods. The research subjects were all fifth grade students of MI Miftahun Najah Banyuputih Situbondo in the 2016/2017 Academic Year. Researchers used data collection instruments in the form of observation formats, question sheets, field notes, and interview guidelines. The research method is classroom action research. Data analysis techniques are planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The results of the study are: 1) The average memorization of students' mufrodat in the pre cycle before receiving hypnoteaching learning method treatment gets an average of 65.38. The smallest value is 55 and the highest value is 80. With the Minimal Completeness Criteria reference of 70, the number of students who get a score equal to or above the Minimal Completeness Criteria is 23% while students who have not reached the Minimal Completeness Criteria is 77%. 2) The average memorization of students' mufrodat in the first cycle after applying hypnoteaching learning method got an average of 72.3. The smallest value is 55 and the highest value is 80. With the Minimal Completeness Criteria reference of 70, the number of students who score equal to or above the Minimal Completeness Criteria is 61.5% while students who have not reached the Minimal Completeness Criteria is 38.5%. 3) The average memorization of students' mufrodat in the second cycle gets an average of 90. The smallest value is 75 and the highest score is 100. With a Minimal Completeness Criteria reference of 70, the number of students who score equal to or above the Minimal Completeness Criteria is 92.3% while students who have not yet reached Minimal Completeness Criteria is 7.7%. 4) The use of hypnoteaching method can increase the wealth of mufrodat of fifth grade students of MI Miftahun Najah Banyuputih Situbondo in 2016/2017 Academic Year.

This study aims to interpret ekokritik literary theory by expressing the value of environmental wisdom focused on respect for nature of fo Alas Kobong Folklore in Pacitan Regency. Ekokritik literature to examine the application of this folklore is through data classification based on the moral principles of environmental wisdom focused on respect for nature. The shape of this research is descriptive qualitative with an interactive approach to data sources transcript of interviews about Alas Kobong folklore of participants in Pacitan Regency. Data were collected through interviews, observation, documentation, field notes and transcriptions. There are three aspects of data analysis techniques, namely the description, analysis, and interpretation. The results of this study found five data contained in a respectful attitude towards nature which is included in the value of environmental wisdom of  Alas Kobong folklore in Pacitan Regency. In addition, the folklore of Alas Kobong can also implies learning literature junior secondary school Adiwiyata curriculum.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Barunawati Kota Ternate dan seberapa besar peningkatan kecerdasan inter-personal anak usia 5-6 tahun dengan menggunakan metode bermain peran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam II siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak didik kelompok B di TK Barunawati Kota Ternate yang berjumlah 25 orang. Kolabolator dalam penelitian adalah guru kelas B, sebagai pelaksana tindakan, peneliti sebagai observer dan guru pendamping sebagai pembantu observer. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Observasi meliputi proses pembelajaran sosial emosional dan kecerdasan interpersonal anak. Catatan lapangan digunakan untuk melihat permasalahan yang dihadapi selama pembelajaran. Dokumentasi digunakan untuk memperoleh data yang berbentuk foto. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif sederhana. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan interpersonal anak usia dini dapat ditingkatkan melalui metode bermain peran. Peningkatan tersebut sebesar 76%.Kata Kunci: metode bermain peran (role playing), kecerdasan interpersonal, anak usia dini. The Implementation of Role Playing Method to Improve Interpersonal Intelligence of Children Aged 5-6 Years in Kindergarten Barunawati AbstractThe study aims to increase interpersonal intelligence of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Barunawati Ternate City and how much the increase in interpersonal intelligence of children aged 5-6 years using role playing methods. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The subjects in this study are students in kindergarten group B Barunawati Ternate City amounting to 25 people. The collaborators in this research were the B-grade teachers acting as the executor, while the researcher was an observer and as a teacher assistant in the observation. The data were collected through observation, notes field and documentation. Observations included the process of learning social emotional and childrens interpersonal intelligence. Field notes were used to see the problems faced during the learning. Documentation used to obtain data in the form of photos. The data analysis techniques used simple descriptive statistics. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of this study shows that early childhood interpersonal intelligence can be improved through the role playing methods. This paper explores some of the issues that arise when one is dealing with data that has been produced by the researcher about their own experience. In particular, we are interested in exploring the ways that researchers can go about analyzing autobiographical data. Many researchers produce data that is autobiographical. Ethnographers produce field notes. Action Researchers often write about their own practice. Phenomenologists, sociologists and historians may write narratives that are autobiographical. There is a growing trend for researchers working in a range of settings to view themselves simultaneously being both a subject (or the subject) and a researcher. Data analysis techniques that work well when dealing with data about other people may not be as useful when one is working with one's own data. We will suggest a number of strategies that a researcher can employ to analyze such data including collaborative analysis, forms of grounded theory and alternative forms of representation such as poetry, art and drama. We will also discuss the use of frameworks such as particular psychodynamic theories, feminist theories and critical theories as ways of gaining additional insight from the analysis of the researcher's biographical writings.

This study aims to describe the ability of communication and problem solving of mathematical students in the material quadrilateral and triangle in class VII in one district of MTs Bandung. This type of research is qualitative research with phenomenology model which aims to interpret communication ability and ability to solve the mathematical problem of students. The subjects of this study were 24 students for communication skills and 25 students for math problem-solving skills. The result of data analysis shows that the mathematical communication ability of grade VII students in one MTs in Kabupaten Bandung is still relatively low with the highest percentage being in the low communication ability qualification which is 37.5%, while for students who have ability is get percentage equal to 29,2% and for students with high communication skills get a percentage of 33.3%, while for problem-solving skills in class VII is quite good with the highest percentage in qualification students with high problem-solving ability with a percentage of 44%, while for qualified students who ability is getting percentage by 40%, and for low qualifications only got a percentage of 16%.. Keywords: mathematical communication ability, mathematical problem-solving ability

AbstrakMatematika merupakan ilmu abstrak, untuk mempelajarinya diperlukan kemampuan yang memadai. Salah satunya memiliki kemampuan untuk mengkomunikasikannya dalam bentuk ide, simbol, maupun bahasa matematika. Selain itu, komunikasi merupakan bagian yang sangat penting dalam matematika. Untuk mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis diterapkan pembelajaran Group Investigation. Pembelajaran ini menekankan pada keaktifan mahasiswa ketika pembelajaran. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa di salah satu perguruan tinggi swasta di Garut, dengan sampel dua kelas mahasiswa tingkat II yaitu kelas B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas C sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis, yang digunakan pada pretest dan posttest. Analisis data pada hasil pretest diawali dengan uji normalitas kemudian uji Mann Whitney. Sedangkan analisis data pada hasil posttest diawali dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, kemudian uji t. Secara garis besar, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran Group Investigation lebih baik daripada mahasiswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. AbstractMathematics is an abstract science, to learn it required adequate capability. One of which has the ability to communicate it in the form of ideas, symbols, and math language. Besides, communication is a very important part in mathematics. To develop mathematical communication abilities applied Group Investigations learning. This lesson emphasizes student activeness. Population in this research were students in one private college in Garut, with sample of two classes of students of grade two that is class B as experiment class and C as control class. The instrument used in this research is a test of mathematical communication ability, used in pretest and posttest. Data analysis on pretest result begins with normality test then Mann Whitney test. While data analysis on posttest result begins with normality test, homogeneity test, and t test. In general, the results of this study indicate that the mathematical communication skills of students who get Group Investigation learning better than students who get conventional learning.

This study aims to find out between students with high, medium, and low self-esteem in term of better mathematical communication. This type of research is quantitative research. The data analysis technique used was one-way variance analysis with inequivalent cells. The collection of students' mathematical communication data was obtained from the score of mathematical communication tests, and the data of self-esteem was collected through questionnaires. The subjects of this study were the eighth-grade junior high school students in Ponorogo with the high, medium and low schools categories. The results of this study indicate that students with high self-esteem possess better mathematical communication skills compared to students with moderate self-esteem and students with low self-esteem. Students with low self-esteem are having the same level of mathematical communication skills as students with moderate self-esteem.

ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan untuk menelaah dan menghasilkan kajian tentangimplementasi metode Brainstorming berbantu alat peraga matematika terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental dengansampel yang diteliti sebanyak 72 peserta didik tingkat SMP secara random. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dalam penelitian ini teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kemampuan komunikasi matematis berbentuk uraian. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan uji-t setelah dilakukan uji prasyarat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan metode Brainstormingerbantu alat peraga lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan yang tidak diajar menggunakan metode Brainstorming berbantu alat peraga. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran Brainstormingberbantu alat peraga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik dengan kriteria sedang. Kata kunci:metode Brainstorming, alat peraga, kemampuan komunikasi matematis.   ABSTRACT Thestudy aims to determine whether or not there is an implementation of theBrainstorming method assisted aid teaching to the students’mathematical communication ability. Thesample of this research are 72 students. The research used data collection method by using instrument test of mathematical communication ability in the form ofdescription. Data analysis techniques using t-test after the prerequisite test. Based on the results of the study it was found that the average of mathematical communication ability of students taught using the Brainstorming methodassisted props were higher than those not taught using the Brainstorming methodassisted props. It can be concluded that theBrainstorming method assisted props can improve mathematical communication ability of students with medium criteria. This study examines the effectiveness of counselor communication on the self-disclosure of students in SMA Negeri 3 Parepare. Counselors in high schools get a clear role and position or place, where counselors as a component of student support services (student support services) to help the development of personal, social, career, and academic aspects of students through guidance and counseling programs to students in plan (individual student planning), responsive service delivery and system development (system support). Therefore, counselors are highly required to have effective communication skills to support counseling, so counseling communication skills can make students open themselves. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using observation, interview, and documentation methods. The subject in this study was the BK teacher of SMA Negeri 3 Parepare as the school counselor using data analysis techniques namely interpretation data analysis techniques and triangulation analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the stages of counseling can be seen based on the stages of effective communication conducted by counselors, including; 1) Fact finding, 2) Planning, 3) Communicating, 4) Evaluating. The communication skills applied by counselors in the implementation of counseling are (attending), empathy, summarizing, asking, and honesty. By using the communication model, in this study found that the counselor's communication achieved students' self-disclosure as evidenced by giving their trust to the counselor, expressing honest statements in the counseling process, and students feeling relieved after the counseling. Based on some of the results obtained by researchers, the communication skills conducted by counselors to achieve students' self-disclosure are effective.
