Islamic guidance and counseling (BKI) students as prospective counselors are required to master communication skills well as one of the characteristics of personality and professionalism that must be possessed. But sometimes, students experience anxiety when they start communicating with others in formal situations, such as academic situations. This study aims to look at the relationship between the frequency of BKI IAIN Parepare students in conducting positive self-talk with the level of communication apprehension. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data is collected by using The Self Talk Scale (Brinthaupt, Hein, & Kramer, 2009) and Personal Report Communication Apprehensioan Questionnaire (McCroskey, 1984). Linear regression analysis test is used to analyze the relationship between the frequency of self-talk with communication apprehension. The sample in this study amounted to 78 students consisting of 15 men and 70 women. The results showed that there was a relationship between the frequency of doing positive self-talk with the level of communication anxiety in students. The implication of this study shows that positive self-talk techniques can be used in a variety of guidance and counseling situations or daily activities in reducing anxiety levels and increasing student personal competence, especially those related to anxiety when conducting interpersonal communication.

This paper explores what the meaning of jihad and Sufi is and how a Sufi jihad. The aim of this research is to correct the wrong understanding of Sufism and Sufi teachings and explain that Sufism in Sufism never lags in jihad with its various aspects. Jihad is all forms of maximum effort for the application of Islamic teachings and eradication of tyranny, both for oneself, society and the universe by not knowing despair, surrender, and strings attached, both through physical struggle, emotions, possessions, energy, and science in order reach the pleasure of Allah Almighty. Being Sufi is a person who tries to purify and decorate himself with commendable qualities to draw closer to Allah. Sufis not only adorn themselves with praiseworthy qualities and mahdhah worship rites only to God Almighty, but a Sufi person is still required to draw closer to Allah swt with jihad efforts such as spiritual jihad, ethical jihad, intellectual jihad and politics. Various supporting features of interpersonal communication and interaction such as chatrooms, walls, messanger, etc. make Facebook as one of the models of interpersonal mediated communication (interpersonal mediated communication). The purpose of this study is to describe the use of Facebook as a facility that facilitates friendship and personal relationships. The subject of this research is Facebook active users who utilize various Facebook features to meet new people. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The results showed that various Facebook features were able to facilitate its users in communicating both socially just friends to personal communication that led to institutional (marriage).  Keywords: Facebook; Global Friendship; Personal Bond

Surabaya is the second largest city after Jakarta, as the second largest city, Surabaya is a densely populated area, can be found various kinds of informal economic activities that have existed since colonial times, ranging from street vendors to prostitution. Dolly is an exclusive area located in Surabaya. This region is tehe largest prostitution in Indonesia, even beating in Southeast Asia. Research on the Permata In the Mud novel by Satria Nova and Nur Huda focuses on the representation of the meaning of violence on prostitutes, to lead us to a thought that criticizes every form of violence against women. This research method is a qualitative analysis, using Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic analysis, which looks at markers and markers. The data used in the form of texts that describe violence against prostitutes in the novel Permata Dalam Lumpur, which is read repeatedly. The results found several meanings of violence on prostitutes obtained from several chapters. The results showed that the Permata novel in the mud contained the meaning of violence on prostitutes. The success of Mulan Jameela to become members of the Indonesian Parliement 2019-2024 drew the attention of online media. However. Some online media deliberately package this event in the form of politainment news. This research aims to find out the news framing of Mulan politainment news when officially appointed as a member of the Indonesian Parliament 2019-2024. The research method used is the Framing Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki. Pan Kosicki's framing device is divided into four large structures : syntactic structure, script structure, thematic structure, and rhetorical structure. The object of the research was the news texts Mulan as members of the Indonesian Parliament in Tribunnews.com and Detik.com in the October 2019 period. The results showed that the cognitive tools used by Tribunnews.com and Detik.com in coding information and interpreting events about Mulan as members of the Indonesian Parliament are constructed differently. Okezone.com framing tends to benefit Mulan. While framing Tribunnews.com, Detik.com, Liputan6.com, dan Kompas.com tend to corner Mulan. Where the most highlighted side is the clothing choices used by Mulan, the legal cases faced and the endorsement that received the KPK response. While Mulan success in holding seats in the Indonesian Parliament 2019-2024 period is not so highlighted. Keywords: framing; news; online media; politainment

This study examines the effects of television in adolescents, where television involves teens in their daily lives. The purpose of this study is to describe the effect of television and explain what influences television's influence on adolescents in Vocational High Schools. This type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative, where the research method used in this study uses numerical based data and determines the population and sample. which is done by giving questions or an online questionnaire (questionnaire) to teenagers at SMK Ghama Caraka. Population criteria studied were adolescents aged 15-17 years. Respondents were asked as many as 30 people and taken using purposive sampling, namely the determination of sample techniques with certain considerations or with certain characteristics used with the questionnaire. Analysis of the data used in this research is to use descriptive statistics. This research data management uses SPSS 24 for windows to help analyze statistical data. And the results of this study prove that there is an influence of television on adolescents in SMK Ghama Caraka in social interaction, learning and politics in adolescents. This study aims to analyze communication in virtual communities that are reviewed from a business, health and career-linkedIn perspective. This research uses the literature review method through literature search both books and international and national journals. The results showed that the virtual community was established and developed through Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) on various platforms. Virtual communities develop because individuals have the same goal. They bind themselves to join and exchange ideas, information in a virtual community because there are common motives and goals to be achieved. There are several similarities and differences that bind individuals to join virtual communities from a business, health and career-linked perspective. Trust and security are the main keys of individuals joined in virtual communication in various fields. In addition, in the business perspective, two reasons individuals join online trade are the use of a conducive community and virtual social environment. While in the context of health, the reason the community joins is the ease of accessing health information, trust and security of user data. Finally, in the context of career-linked development, individuals tie themselves into the community because this platform has advantages in forming social network capital, knowledge capital to form friendships. Virtual communities on various platforms (business, health and careers) continue to grow and are increasingly being asked by users. Keywords: community; social media; users; virtual

This study discusses Nadia's Asma da'wah messages in the Bidadari Untuk Dewa novel and how the delivery of da'wah messages in the story. This research is a study that uses a qualitative approach and discourse analysis of the Van Dijk model. The source of this research is in the form of library literature.  The results of this study state that the preaching message contained in this novel covers aspects of aqeedah, sharia, and morality. Aspects of aqeedah include tawakkal, piety and istiqomah values. Sharia aspects include sholat, mu'amalah, and prayer. Then the moral aspects include patience, sincerity, grateful gratitude, humility and honesty. From the thematic side, it was found that the title of Bidadari untuk Dewa was taken from a true story. This story illustrates the story of the journey of a young man who decides to do business and get married at a relatively young age and has to face various life problems ranging from financial, debt, business studies, female exams, friendship, and even almost losing his life at the age of 5 years. In the storyline, this novel is the longest novel Asma Nadia that she has written during her career in the world of writing. That is all due to the "complexity" of the life journey of a young businessman who is adopted. Keywords: da'wah messages; discourse analysis; novels

Every children has distinguished life, likewise the life of the children with autism.Children with autism frequently considered as odd because they seems like havingtrouble in paying attention and are uninterested to social life. Indonesia does not have theprecise number of the children with autism and it has been increased every year.Education is one of the medium for children with autism to learn the standard way ofbehaviour that socially acceptable. The kindergarten is the first non formal school forchildren with autism. However, the autism’s disability often fails the communicationprocess at school. The rejection will be unavoidable for the first initial meetings. Thisphenomenon becomes the main attraction for the researcher to analyze the behaviour ofchildren with autism in the kindergarten. This is a qualitative research and using thephenomenology method. The objects of the research is M, W and D. They are the childrenwith autism at the informal school of Widya Bhakti Semarang. The aim of this research isto describe the non verbal communication of children with autism as the efforts ofadaptation in the kindergarten.

Social change is a necessity that is not negotiable. This change is a variation onthe way of life that has been accepted together, both because of changes in geographicalconditions, culture, population composition, ideology and because of new discoveries insociety. This study uses the literature study method and the results of this study are socialchanges in the context of the propaganda of the Prophet Muhammad SAW is somethingreal and the results can be seen until now. The strategy he applied was by: 1) building a mosque as a base for the struggle and mobilization of the people; 2) bring together two major groups, namely Muhajirin and Ansar, to form the solidity of the people who standon the same flatform: faith; 3) establish communication with Jewish leaders as elders ofone of the social entities in Medina; and 4) made an agreement with the Jews in Medinawhich contained policies to build Muslim social stability. The importance of the currentda'wah movement for the creation of khoiru ummah is by carrying out social changessuch as those practiced by the Prophet Muhammad.
