The study aimed at exploring the implementation of physical education (PE) teaching during the Covid 19 Pandemic at elementary schools of sub-district of Balung, Jember, Indonesia. This descriptive research which follows the quantitative approach implemented the survey method using one shot case study. The samples participating in the study are 12 SE teachers. In order to gather the data, a questionnaire was distributed to the participants online through Google Form, containing 10 items. The data obtained were analyzed in descriptive quantitative  through percentage. The findings indicate that all participants (100%) conduct the teaching and learning, where 50% of them delivered the teaching in online learning and 58% confirmed that the learning adheres to the lesson plans. Moreover, 67% of the participants informed that the learning materials are in the same order as stated in the lesson plans, 67% used WhatsApp groups as their teaching media, 67% of the participants informed that their students were enthusiastic and participated actively in the class, 50% have cooperated with their students’ parents for supporting learning, 67% of them stated the assessment was based on submitted exams and tasks, 58% stated that the assessment was less effective. Meanwhile, the analysis of learning indicators reveal that generally 41% of the participants claim difficulties in accessing good Internet connection, and 42% of the participants’ students could not afford smartphones for their learning and thus could not submit their tasks. Briefly the Covid 19 pandemic does not hamper the conduct of teaching and learning though it is now delivered online, however, in general the study found that the teaching and learning is less effective; therefore,  more attention needs to be paid to students especially with their obstacles in using the learning media and accessing proper Internet connection.

This research is motivated by the importance of experimentation in science learning which cannot be done directly in online learning during the pandemic. The application of STEAM is one solution to problems that arise in the management of science learning in elementary schools during the pandemic. The subjects of this study were 20 grade 6 students in an elementary school in Surakarta. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative with a case study design. The recruited informants consisted of students and their parents. The techniques used in this research are interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis using data collection techniques, data reduction, presentation of power and drawing conclusions. The data validity technique is technique triangulation and source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that (1) the application of online learning changes the way students learn (2) In online learning experiments cannot be done directly (3) During the pandemic, teachers are required to innovate in the teaching and learning process (4) The STEAM approach can provide a meaningful experience for students (5) STEAM can encourage student development for the better. The implications of this research are: First, more and more teachers are implementing the STEAM approach in the teaching and learning process as an alternative so that students can learn optimally. Both parents are willing to take the time to observe and assist their daughter's online learning process. The primary purpose of Brigham Young University (BYU) is to provide students with a combination of sacred and secular education often described as the “BYU experience.” Achieving this purpose is challenged by the rapid growth in Church membership and an enrollment cap of 30,000 students. To address these challenges, BYU sponsors the use of technology to bridge the gap between the increased Church membership and the number of students allowed under the enrollment caps. This institutional case study shows how these challenges have influenced the hybridization of teaching and learning for on campus (resident) and off campus (distance) students. It also describes how BYU has brought distance education to campus, and is beginning to bring campus-based educational practices to distance education.

This study aims to develop learning media in the form of videos called "Al-Mutho" videos on Haalatul Hadiiqoh material in third-grade students of elementary school. This is qualitative descriptive research and type of case study that aims to determine students' perceptions in using ‘Al-Mutho” videos. The results showed that students felt happier and eager to learn vocabulary (mufrodat) by using the video "Al-Mutho." Also, students are also able to remember ten new vocabulary words that are taught in one time face to face. This can be seen from the ability of students to answer the questions given quickly and precisely. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the video "Al-Mutho" can be used as an alternative media for mufrodat learning in Arabic for elementary schools.

This chapter explores ways in which new and emerging information and communication technologies (ICT) might transform the learning experience through online delivery. After presenting a conceptualisation of ICT use by educators in terms of inaction, investigation, application, integration, and transformation, two diverse learning settings are examined to develop insights into the implications of online learning for lifelong learning—namely, the delivery of educational services to preschool children (aged 4 years old) through to Year 10 students (aged 15 years old) in rural and remote communities in Australia, and the dimensions required for designing online learning for adult learners in higher education. Through the presentation of a case study of a School of Distance Education in Australia, which reflects technological improvements using telephone teaching, and the affordances of improved connectivity, the case study demonstrates that this has enabled the use of more constructivist approaches to teaching and learning to transform the delivery of education to rural and remote students. Subsequently, this chapter provides a synthesis of the literature relating to the critical factors influencing learner satisfaction in online learning.

Learning English is very closely related to learning western culture, which might contrast with Islamic values, the dominant religion in Indonesia. This study finds merit in finding out the implementation of Islamic values in teaching English at an Integrated Islamic school in Indonesia, where the school chosen curriculum mandated that the subject be integrated with Islamic values since all the students are Muslim. This case study took place at an Integrated Islamic School, and the data were collected through interviewing seven English teachers and conducting a thematic analysis on their lesson plans. All the teachers admitted that integrating Islamic values in the English lesson was essential. Still, the thematic analysis showed that their perceptions about the importance of integrating Islamic values in English learning were not firmly in line with the implementation in the teaching and learning process. The teachers' lesson plans (RPP) did not depict substantial integration of Islamic values. This study recommends the practical ways of integrating Islamic that could improve teachers' understanding of Islamic values in English learning, additionally pointing out a need to develop the curriculum and teaching materials that incorporate Islamic values.
