National health development strategy has resulted in improved public health status. One of indicators public health is Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR). Maternal Mortality Rate is a health problem that still many still occur in Indonesia. One factor contributing to high incidence of maternal mortality is lack of antenatal care attention. Antenatal care is an important and mandatory thing done by mother during pregnancy because it can maintain the health of mother and fetus until the birth process. Antenatal care can identify the risk of complications experienced by the mother during pregnancy. Participation of antenatal care not only from wife, but participation of pregnancy care can also be from support of the closest person is husband. Husband role is needed in the care of pregnancy because wife needs a lot of biological and psychological support. Purpose of research is to know characteristics husband to antenatal care in Mulyorejo. Type of research is descriptive with cross sectional using qualitative method. Techniques data collection using questionnaires with the sample number of respondents is 20 husbands who have pregnant wives. Respondent is taken from Mulyorejo Health Center data. Analysis Method with descriptive statistics by displaying the frequency in the form of tables showing the categories of characteristics husband. This study lasted for one month in October to November 2017. The results showed that characteristics of husbands in antenatal care in Mulyorejo is sufficient category. Knowledge of husband is 14 people (70%), husband attitude is 10 people (50%), and husband behavior is 13 people (65%).

Background
Maternal mortality rate is still a health problem in Indonesia. One major contributor to maternal mortality rate in Indonesia is preeclampsia. One widely accepted theory is that preeclampsia is caused by oxidative stress. Placental hypoxia or ischemia among preeclampsia patients is thought to be the cause of the formation of free radicals such as malondialdehyde (MDA), which decreases endogenous antioxidants such as glutathione (GSH). This study aims to ascertain the difference in plasma malondialdehyde and glutathione levels between healthy and preeclamptic pregnant women.

Methods
This was an observational analytic study of cross sectional design. Research subjects were 30 normal (healthy) pregnant women (NP), and 30 pre-eclamptic pregnant (PE) women. The measurement of plasma MDA and GSH levels was done at the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology laboratories, Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University using Sigma-Aldrich MDA and GSH assay kits. Mann Whitney test was used to analyze the data.

Results
Subjects aged >35 years, with age of gestation >35 weeks and multipara was significantly higher in the PE group compared to the NP group (p=0.016; p=0.01 and p=0.36; respectively). MDA level was significantly higher in the PE group than in the NP group (p=0.002). In contrast, GSH level was significantly lower in the PE group than in the NP group (p=0.003).

Conclusion
MDA and GSH may reflect vascular complications of PE, and the ensuing increases in lipid peroxidation may play important pathogenic roles.

Stunting is a children growth problem that occurs a result of chronic malnutrition in the first 1000 days of life. The indicator of stunting is using the height measurement according to age HFA (Height for Age) under -2 SD based on the WHO growth standard curve according to sex. The impacts of stunting are the occurrence of growth disorders, barriers to development and the risk of metabolic disorders in adulthood. One of the risk factors for stunting is history of quality and quantity Antenatal Care (ANC). This study aimed to determine the relationship between quality and quantity history of ANC visits and stunting in toddlers aged 24-59 years in Pujon District Malang Regency. The method used in this research was observational analytic by using cross-sectional design. The population of this study was all mothers who have children aged 24-59 months that were conducted in January 2020. Ninety eight respondents taken by purposive sampling as the sample of the research. The data was obtained by filling out questionnaires and KIA books, then analyzed with chi-square test (α = 0.05). The results showed that there was a significant relationship in quality (p-value = 0.004) and quantity (p-value = 0.003) toward stunting.

AbstractThere is growing evidence in Uganda that the non-attendance of antenatal care is largely influenced by the lack of decision-making autonomy, inadequate information and poor services offered in health facilities. Although previous studies have examined barriers and facilitators of antenatal care, a few of them have investigated the extent of decision making autonomy and ICT adoption among expectant mothers. A cross sectional design through focus group discussions and survey questionnaires was used to collect data. Three hundred and twenty households were randomly sampled in Kampala and Jinja districts. The Chi-square tests (χ2) for independence to analyze group differences among women’s socio-demographic characteristics and decision-making autonomy was used. Inclusion criteria included respondents aged 18 and 50 years, completion of primary school education, expectant mothers and mothers who gave birth two years prior to the study. A hundred and sixty-four respondents participated in this survey. About 59.5% of women lacked decision making autonomy. Midwives (37.6%) and village health teams (35%) were a major source of antenatal care information, and 49.5% of expectant mothers lacked ANC information. Ninety percent (90%) of mothers did not use any form of ICT’s to enhance their decisions yet 79% possessed mobile phones. We observed a strong association between antenatal care decision-making autonomy and women with higher education (χ2 = 8.63, ρ = 0.035), married (χ2 = 4.1, ρ = 0.043) and mature (36–50) (χ2 = 8.81, ρ = 0.032). The main findings in this study suggest that ICT adoption and decision making autonomy among expectant mothers is still low and less appreciated. Control measures and interventions should be geared towards empowering women to influence their decisions.
