The research is aimed to see and give the description whether the using of card as a learning media can increase the students` achievement in learning japanese language this research design uses action research that consists of two cycles. Every cycle consists of plan, action, observation, and reflection. The instrument used to know the students` activity during the teachung and learning process.This research consists of two cycles. Every cycle consits of four meetings. If there is a weakness in the first cycle, it result will be repaired in the second cycle. The result of the research is that 1, 56% students listens teacher`s explanation, 14, 06 % students take note from the tacher`s explanation, 44, 53 % students give opinion, 23, 44 % students ask questions, and 43, 34 % students answer the questions. By using card as media in learning process, it is hoped that the students will be motivated and interested in learning japanese language.Key words : media card, development of the result learning

The objective of this research is to make the teaching learning of English at class XI IPA 1 of SMA Negeri 1 Abung Semuli, academic year 2016-2017 become interesting and effective. The research is classroom action research conducted in two cycles that involves plan, action, observation and reflection. The subject of the research was class XI IPA 1 that consists of 37 students (25 females and 12 males ). There were four instruments used in the reseach : teacher’s activity, students’ activity, active students and learning achievement. This study found that the use of Group Investigation model of learning can increase the effectiveness the English learning process at class XI IPA 1. The effectiveness of learning process is shown by improvement of the achievement at (1) the percentage of teacher’s activity that reached the target from 61.95% (cycle 1) becomes 80% (cycle 2) or increased 18,05%.(2) The percentage of students’ activity in cycle 1 was 41,66 % became 65,91% that meant the increased  24,25 %,(3) the persentage of active students also increased from 40,54 % (cycle 1) to 83,78 % (cycle 2) , the increase was 43,24 %, and (4) the percentage of speaking score was 24,32% (cycle 1) became 73,00% (cycle 2), means the increase wa 48,68 %. The result of learning using Group Investigatio model is achieved through the following stages: (1) pre-activity, teacher prepared students by informing the learning objective, giving motivation, preparing the material and putting the students into groups. (2)main step, the students in group were distributed the topic problem, group presentation, personal task, plenary discussion, conclusion and (3) post-activity, making a resume of the materail and teaching learning reflection.

The purpose of this research is to improve the skill of critical thinking for MTsN 1 Pontianak student in the eighth grade by learning based edutainment with guide discovery inquiry learning. The method of this research is classroom action research which conducted in the two cycles. The research design was begun by planning, action, observation, reflection and continued by the next planning. The result of this research is the implementation of good RPP category. The main student activity showed the positive activity which related by learning process. The skill of critical learning test was showing the increase of the first cycle gave 25% and the second cycle increase till 100% in the advance category. Based on the KKM 75 also showed the increase of 7,7% in the first cycle and 74,4% in the second cycle. The result of this research can be summarized that the sains learning based on edutainment by the approach of guide discovery inquiry can develop and enhance the student’s skill of critical thinking.

This study aims to describe the learning steps by using the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) approach that can improve students 'mathematical reasoning, so that students' mathematical reasoning problems are well resolved in the learning process. Classroom Action Research). The research design consists of several actions, one action is called a cycle. The activities of each cycle consist of four main activities, namely planning (planning), action (action), observation (observation), and reflection (reflection). The CTL strategy used in this study includes: Relating, Cooperating, Experiencing, Appliying, Transfering. The results of the study show that: (1) Implementation of learning with an approach consists of: Students observe problems, write problems, solve problems, and students discuss problems; (2) Mathematical reasoning of students who study using CTL has increased; (3) Learning with CTL is favored by students.

This research was conducted to solve students’ problem in speaking especially the students never practiced to speak each other. The researcher applied the three-step interview technique in improving their speaking ability. The instruments were speaking test, observation sheet and questionnaire. The researcher applied Classroom Action Research. It consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consisted four meetings and four steps. The steps included plan, action, observation, and reflection.The result of the research in the first cycle showed that the students’ achievement and performance were so low. It could be seen from the students’ score in the first cycle was 2.74. the highest score in the first cycle was 4 which were acquired by three students but the highest score at the end of the second cycle was 5.3 which was acquired by 4 students. The lowest score in the first cycle was 1.7 which acquired by one student and the lowest score in the second cycle was 3.3 which was acquired by four students. Based on the data, the researcher concluded that three-step interview technique could increase the students’ ability in speaking. This technique had proven that three-step interview technique was a successful technique to help students in speaking.

The purpose of this research was to describe the implementation process inquiry and to understand improving  creativity of children 5-6 years old  through inquiry. The study was conducted on group A Kindergarten with of seventen children.  This study used action research methods by Kemmis and Taggart which consist of 4 stages (plan, action, observation and reflection). This study consisted of two cycles, each cycles consisting of 8 sessions. Data collecting techniques used observation, field notes and documentation. Data analysis using quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data analysis with descriptive statistics that compare the result obtained from the first cycle and the second cycle. Analysis of qualitative data by analizing data from the observation, fields notes and documentation during the study to the steps of data reduction, data display and data verification. The result of this study showed that there was the improving interpersonal intelegence through play music with score in pre cycle 24,9 had improvement to 44,9 and become 67,7 in cycle II and excellent growing category. The learning experience will be stucked in freez learning atmosphere when the teacher traditionally preeches and dictates against the students, as the teacher-centered approaches have run. This model of teaching produces passive students with low acheivement. In effort of dveloping the vivid learning experience, variative models of teaching must be applied by the teacher. Through this research, the researcher proposes Mind Mapping Teaching Method, hopping that the the students learning activities and achievement can be developed. Mind mapping teaching method can tentatively encourage student to be active, innovative, creative and imaginative along the way with the learning process. The application of mind mapping teaching method can hopefully develop students learning activities and achievement through the given action research design.<em></em></p></div>

The purpose of this study was to know the impact of the utilization of android applications in learning mathematics in SMPN-1 Sragen. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles,each cycle beginned with planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data in this study was the assessment of the learning process obtained from learners in the activity and assessment at the end of the cycle. Then, the data was analyzed to know whether the utilization of android application in teaching space has been successful or not. There was an increase in students' learning achievement in understanding mathematics after having utilized the android applications. Before the action, only 18 students (56.25%) completed their learning and increased to be 22 students (68.75%) on the first cycle. In the second cycle, the number of students completed their learning was 31 students (96.87%). The use of android application for class IX students B SMPN-1 Sragen had improved the students’ learning achievement. Before the action, the average knowledge of students was 75.16 and their average skill was 70.63. In the first cycle, the average knowledge of students is 78.59 and their average skills is 72.5. In the second cycle, of average knowledge 88.13 average skills 86.88. The conclusion, the utilization of android application in teaching the space learning content improved the students learning achievement. Teachers are suggested to utililize the android application or other appropriate media in learning-teaching activities.ABSTRAKFokus masalah yang menjadi pembahasan di dalam tulisan ini adalah dampak dari pemanfaatan aplikasi android dalam pembelajaran matematika tentang bangun ruang sisi lengkung di SMPN-1 Sragen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak dari pemanfaatan aplikasi android dalam pembelajaran matematika tentang bangun ruang sisi lengkung di SMPN-1 Sragen. Metode penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dengan dua siklus, di mana setiap siklus diawali dengan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa penilaian proses yang diperoleh dari peserta didik dalam beraktivitas dan penilaian pada akhir siklus. Kemudian, data dianalisis untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang berhasil-tidaknya pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam memahami bangun ruang sisi lengkung setelah belajar menggunakan aplikasi android. Sebelum tindakan, yang tuntas 18 peserta didik (56,25%), pada siklus pertama 22 peserta didik (68,75%). Pada siklus kedua, peserta didik yang tuntas belajarnya 31 orang (96,87%). Penggunaan aplikasi android pada peserta didik kelas IX B SMPN 1 Sragen terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Sebelum tindakan, rata-rata pengetahuan 75,16 dan rata-rata keterampilan 70,63. Pada siklus pertama, rata-rata pengetahuan meningkat menjadi 78,59 dan rata-rata keterampilan 72,5. Kemudian, pada siklus kedua, rata-rata pengetahuan meningkat menjadi 88,13 dan rata-rata keterampilan meningkat menjadi 86,88. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pemanfaatan aplikasi android pada materi bangun ruang meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Disarankan agar guru menggunakan aplikasi android atau media lain yang tepat dalam pembelajaran.

<p class="ABSTRACT"><span lang="EN">This article presents the efforts of teacher in enhancing students’ achievement through the implementation of cooperative learning model: Gallery Walk and Simulation (GALSIM). This </span><span lang="EN">classroom action research</span><span lang="EN"> aims to describe the improvement of students’ achievement of <em>Fiqh </em>subject matter. </span><span lang="EN">The data was collected by </span><span lang="EN">observation, actions, documents, and tests. This two-cycle research used four steps i.e. planning, action, observation and reflection in each cycle. The results show that the implementation of GALSIM could improve students’ activity along the learning process. Moreover, the implementation of this model could also improve students’ achievement at the end of their study on <em>Fiqh</em>.</span> </p><span>Tulisan ini mengetengahkan upaya guru dalam meningkatkan prestasi siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif berupa Gallery Walk dan Simulation (GALSIM). Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemajuan prestasi siswa pada pelajaran Fikih. Data penelitian terkumpul melalui pengamatan, tindakan, dokumentasi, dan tes. Penelitian dengan dua siklus ini memanfaatkan empat langkah berupa perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi dalam setiap siklusnya. Temuan riset ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan GALSIM dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa selama pembelajaran. Di samping itu, penerapan model ini dapat pula meningkatkan prestasi siswa dalam mempelajari Fikih.</span>

This study aimed to offer an alternative reconstruction of the fifth-grade Pancasila and Civic Education learning process at SDN Cugenang. This was done on the basis of thefinding that the learning that has been held so far tends to be theoretical-abstract and difficult for students to understand. The method used was a classroom action research method with four stages of activity, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection, which are carried out in three cycles. In general, it could be concluded that Pancasila and Civic Education learning held in elementary schools with a contextual approach could make the learning process and outcomes better and more improved.

This action research aims at increasing students' achievement on the topic Gelombang for the second year studens of MAN 1 Pesisir Barat by using Crocodile Physic Simulation of Think-Pair-Share model. The students' achievement on the wave topic is the research's object, whereas the subject of the research is the students of MAN 1 Pesisir Barat.This action research is conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consists of plan, action, observation and reflection. Based on the result of analysis it is found that Crocodile Physics Simulation of Think-Pair-Share model is able to increase the students' achievement of the wave topic.The average students achievement increases from 58,77 becomes 65,70 or 11,80% increasingly during Cycle I, increases from 65,70 to 71,37 or 8,63% during Cycle II, and increases up to 74,30 or 4,11% in Cycle III. By comparing between Pre Research and Cycle III there is 26,43% increases. Besides, the completeness of learning increases from 26,67 during Pre Research to 46,67 during Cycle I, increases 63,33 during Cycle II and becomes 86,67 in Cycle III. By comparing the 58,77 during Pre Researçh there is an increasing students achievement up to 60%.
