The background of this study is the low results of social studies grade II SDN 003 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam. For that research by applying the learning media. The purpose of this study was (a) to determine the ability of teachers to use the media images in the learning process; and (b) to assess student learning outcomes through the use of media images in the learning process. This study is a class action, the subjects in this study was grade II by the number of students as many as 30 people, the study was conducted in March-April 2015. In order to study this class action work well without barriers obstructing the smooth running of research, phases of action research activities classes, namely: planning / preparatory action, action, observation, and reflection. The study states that the results of social studies students has increased after application of instructional media. This is evidenced by: (a) in the first cycle of the first meeting of student activity earn a percentage 58.00%, at a meeting II increases with the percentage of 77.00%, in the second cycle student activity increased with the percentage of 83.50%, and at a meeting II increased to 88.00%; and (b) the learning outcomes of students has increased in the first cycle average student learning outcomes by 64, the second cycle increased to 65. Based on the results of this study concluded that the use of media images in improving learning outcomes second grade students in social studies in SDN 003 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam Rokan Hulu.

This research is motivated by the learning result of Social Sciences of second grade II students of primary school025 Teluk Binjai Dumai Timur which is still very low. This study aims to improve learning outcomes of SocialSciences students. From the data analysis there is an increase of both teacher activity, student activity, andstudent learning result, that is teacher activity at meeting 1 cycle I the percentage is 64% (enough) and atmeeting 2 increase to 76% (good). In the second cycle of meeting 3 increased again to 88% (very good) and at4th meeting increased to 96% (very good). Judging from the student activity also increased from the 1st cyclemeeting I was 62,5% (enough) and at the 2nd meeting increased to 70.83% (good). In cycle II the 3rd meetingincreased to 83,83% (good) and at the 4th meeting to 91.66% (very good). Judging from student learningoutcomes, the average base score of 60 increased to 70 in the first cycle of increase 10 points later in cycle IIincreased to 90 in cycle II large increase of 20 points. From the data analysis there is an increase both fromteacher activity, student activity, and student learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the advancement of themodel of cooperative learning type make a match can improve the learning result of Social Sciences of secondgrade students of SD Negeri 025 Teluk Binjai Dumai Timur.

This study aims to see the application of the discussion method in improving creative thinking skills in social studies learning outcomes of grade IV students. The research method used was classroom action research which consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consists of stages of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The first cycle of teacher activities obtained a score of 3.27%, student activity was 2.69%, the learning outcomes in the first cycle showed that 18 students had completed and 22 other students had not. The results in cycle II experienced an increase, teacher activity obtained a score of 3.94% and was included in the good category, student activity obtained 3.69% which was included in the good category, while the overall completeness of student learning outcomes was 33 students complete, and 7 other students had not. reach completeness. It can be seen that in cycle II student learning outcomes increased compared to cycle I.Keywords: Discussion Method, Creative Thinking, IPS Learning

Abstract This research is aligned with the wishes of researchers to: 1) Develop a Cerber Method (Continuous Story) to increase the activities of students of Social Sciences Subjects in Class IX A Students of SMP Negeri 1 Sekaran 2018/2019 Academic Year. (2) Knowing the Cerber Method (Continuous Story) can improve Student Learning Outcomes Achievement in Social Studies Subjects in Class IX A Students of SMP Negeri 1 Sekaran 2018/2019 Academic Year. The activeness of students in asking from 30.43% in cycle 1 to 91.30% in cycle 2. The activeness of students in answering the original question 26.09% in cycle 1 to 86.96% in cycle 2. The activeness of students in expressing their original opinion was 30.43% in cycle 1 became 78.26% in cycle 2, so did the percentage of mastery learning 78.26% to 95.65% in cycle 2, the average grade of grade IX A was 75.00 in cycle 1 being the average grade of grade IX A was 94, 00 in cycle 2. The activeness of students also seems to be very enthusiastic in completing assignments given to students showing improvement from cycle I to Cycle II. From the results of interviews with students about the learning process that has been going on, the results are the same as in cycle 1, where all students express very happy. Thus, after analyzing the results of the second cycle, it was decided not to proceed to the next cycle because this research was considered complete. From the results of the analysis of the learning process carried out in cycle 1 and cycle 2 it can be concluded that the Cerber Method (Continuous Story) can increase the activity of Social Studies Subjects in Class IX A Students of SMP Negeri 1 Sekaran 2018/2019 Academic Year. The Cerber Method (Continuous Story) can also improve the Achievement of Student Learning Outcomes in Social Studies Subjects in Class IX A Students of SMP Negeri 1 Sekaran 2018/2019 Academic Year.

Rekognisi: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Kependidikan Volume 1, No.1, Tahun 2016 PGSD Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sumatera Utara The purpose of this study are: (a) to know how to use the media image in improving student learning outcomes in social studies learning the material diversity of tribes and cultures in Indonesia (b) to determine student learning outcomes in social studies material diversity of tribes and cultures Indonesia using media images. Media used in this study is the media image, ie an image of the diversity of tribes and cultures in Indonesia, such as image custom homes, traditional clothing, traditional weapons and traditional dances from all regions in Indonesia. The test is performed three times the initial test (pretest), test results of studying the first cycle and the second cycle. Based on data analysis, which showed that: (1) difficulties faced by students in social studies learning are: students who have not been able to explain the contents of the image due to lack of confidence developed in the classroom and explain the contents of the image to a friend, (2) how to use media images in learning social studies in the first cycle that, the teacher explains the material diversity of tribes and cultures in Indonesia by using an image, then the teacher asked students to comment on the pictures, and the second cycle the teacher asks the students to form groups and work the assignment of teachers in groups and provide individual training. (3) At the beginning of the test (pre-test) the ability of the student in completing the material diversity of tribes and cultures in Indonesia is low. I learned on the test results of 37 students who take the test, there are 18 students or 48.64% were thoroughly studied and are not thoroughly studied as many as 19 students or 51.36%. In the second cycle of learning outcomes, from 37 students who take the test are 35 students or 94.60% were thoroughly studied, and there are 2 students or 5.40% were not thoroughly studied. It can be concluded that the use of media images can improve student learning outcomes.

The purposeofthis studyis: to describethe use ofexperimental method sin enhancingthe activity oflearning physicsclass VII students of SMPN1Purbolinggoandto describethe use ofexperimentalmethodsin improvingstudentlearning outcomesphysicsclass VII SMP N 1 Purbolinggo.This study uses a Class Action Research and 4-cycle stages: planning, action, observation and reflection for further action. The study lasted 2 cycles each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. As the subjects in this study were VII.F grade students of SMP N 1 Purbolinggo of 40 people. Means of collecting data in the form of sheets of observations and tests. From the analysis and the results of this study concluded that the use of experimental methods in the learning process can improve the activity and student learning outcomes VII.F SMP N 1 Purbolinggo on the material and temperature measurements with an average of 11.56% increase in activity. Average learning outcomes increased by 55%. Thus it can be advisable for teachers to improve the activity and student learning outcomes using experimental methods.

The problem in this study is the learning process and learning outcomes of students in social studies learning in Class VI SD Negeri 81/II Muara Bungo is still low, this is evidenced by the results of preliminary observations made by researchers of 37 students only only 7 students (18.91%) who obtained value in the completion criteria. The reason is that teachers only use conventional approaches in the classroom, which causes the learning process and student learning outcomes to be low. The subjects of this study were students of class VI of SD 81/II Muara Bungo, amounting to 37 students. In the implementation of this study consisted of two cycles carried out by researchers. Each cycle consists of planning activities, implementation accompanied by observation and reflection in each cycle. This study aims to describe the application of the NHT model in improving the process and learning outcomes of social studies in SD Negeri 81/II Muara Bungo classes. The research data was collected through observation, documentation and test results. The results of the analysis of the research data indicate that the use of the NHT model can improve social studies learning outcomes of Class VI SD Negeri 81/II Muara Bungo. This can be seen from the results of the second cycle students' tests have reached KKM 75, seen in the learning outcomes of completeness of the learning outcomes of the first cycle is 29.72% in the second cycle increased to 83.78%.

This research was motivated by the low mathematical ability of students in number recognition. The Engklek game could be used by teachers as a learning resource in the field of cognitive cognitive development in mathematics. Engklek game cannot be separated from the ability of students to recognize shapes, numbers and the importance of cooperation, discipline in play. This class action research was carried out in three cycles, each cycle carried out in one meeting with the time allocation of each meeting being three hours of study. The instrument used  in this study consisted of teacher performance observation format, student activity observation format, learning evaluation questions, and documentation as an effort to correct these problems. Therefore, the Engklek Game was expected to make it easier for children to recognize numbers and be able to introduce and preserve traditional games in Indonesia. Besides being able to improve student learning outcomes. the application of Engklek Games could  improve teacher performance and student activities in the learning process. Based on the results of the implementation of the action as much as three cycles, the total percentage of teacher performance in student activities and student learning outcomes multiply the increase. Thus, the application of the Engklek Application in learning to recognize numbers can give positive results to the learning process and can increase students' understanding of the material to recognize numbers 1-20 so that learning outcomes also increase.   Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan matematika siswa dalam pengenalan angka. Permasalahan yang menjadi fokus kajian dalam penelitian adalah bagaimana perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam memahami materi dengan  menerapkan  permainan Engklek di  kelas I SDN Sindang I. Permainan Engklek dapat digunakan oleh guru sebagai sumber belajar dalam bidang pengembangan kognitif matematika. Permainan Engklek tidak dapat dilepaskan dari kemampuan siswa untuk mengenal bentuk, angka dan pentingnya kerjasama, kedisiplinan dalam bermain. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus, masing-masing siklus dilaksanakan sebanyak satu kali pertemuan  dengan alokasi waktu setiap pertemuannya adalah tiga jam pelajaran. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari format observasi kinerja guru, format observasi aktivitas siswa, soal evaluasi pembelajaran, dan dokumentasi sebagai upaya untuk memperbaiki permasalahan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, Permainan Engklek diharapkan dapat mempermudah anak dalam mengenal angka serta dapat mengenalkan dan melestarikan kembali permainan-permainan tradisional yang ada di Indonesia. Selain dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa,   penerapan Permainan Engklek dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru dan aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan tindakan sebanyak tiga siklus, jumlah persentase kinerja guru aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa mengali peningkatan. Dengan demikian, penerapan Permaian Engklek dalam pembelajaran mengenal angka dapat memberikan hasil yang positif terhadap proses pembelajaran dan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang materi mengenal angka 1-20 sehingga hasil belajar pun meningkat. The purpose of this study explains the effectiveness of the student activity sheet model to enhance scientific creativity and student learning outcomes and student responses to the learning process. The research design used pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The study's subject was the student activity sheet (SAS) model and the implementation of primary teacher Education undergraduate students who programed a science introductory concept course during the 2019.1 registration at Open University. Data collected using test methods and questionnaires with product cognitive test instruments, cognitive process tests, scientific creativity tests and student questionnaire responses. Data analyzed by t-test and the proportions calculated. Normality test and homogeneity test are done before the t-test is applied. Increased creativity and student learning outcomes are calculated using normalized N-Gain. The results showed: 1) Improvement of students' scientific creativity after joining learning in the medium category. 2) Improving student learning outcomes after participating in learning in the good category. 3) Student responses to the learning process in the positive category. Based on the above, it can be concluded that the application of student activity sheet model used in learning activities to improve scientific creativity competency and student learning outcomes is effective.

The purpose of this study is to improve students' social studies learning outcomes by applying a snowball throwing learning model. This research was conducted at SDN 022 Pulau Baru Kopah. The subjects of the study were the third grade students, which consisted of 20 students consisting of 10 men and 10 women. The type of this research was classroom action research with a collaborative form. While this class action research procedure consists of, planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results showed, the initial data completeness of social studies learning outcomes of students only 11 people or 55% of students who completed while 9 students or 45% did not complete. the first cycle by applying the snowball throwing cooperative learning model, student learning outcomes improved. This can be seen from 20 students, as many as 15 or 75% of students have been completed while 5 students or 25% of students have not been completed. In cycle II student learning outcomes increased again, this can be seen from the number of students who completed as many as 18 students or 90% while students who have not finished reduced to 2 students or 10%. The researcher can conclude that by applying the snowball throwing cooperative learning model can improve the social learning outcomes of students of SDN 022 Pulau Baruh Kopah.
