This research is based on low student learning outcomes and motivation in learning. Research was conductedon grade V students of SD Negeri 018 Kubang Jaya, Siak Hulu, Kampar. This research aims to improve studentlearning outcomes and motivation through audio visual media. From data analysis result of observation ofactivity of teacher in learning using audio visual at meeting of petarma get percentage sebear 89,5%. at thesecond meeting of 95,83%. while the results of observations of student activities first meeting students get apercentage of 89,29%. while at the second meeting 96,43%. seen from the analysis of student motivation dataexperimental class high libih motivation in learning from the control class. Furthermore, in terms of studentlearning outcomes seen from the basic scores of students who are in class experiments get an average score of58.86, while the control class gets an average score of 60,68. After the students were given an experiment in theexperimental class, the average grade increased to 80,00, while the value in the control class that was not giventhe treatment received an average score of 69.55. From the analysis of the data, it can be concluded that theaudio visual media applied to the learning process is very effective, this is evidenced by the increasingmotivation and student learning outcomes in class V Elementary School 018 Kubang Jaya Kubang Jaya, SiakHulu, Kampar.

This classroom action research was used to measure the learning outcomes of science students on water cycle material and natural appearances consisting of pre-cycle, cycle 1, and cycle 2. the interaction of teachers with students is still monotone, so it is proven that the student learning outcomes of 23 students, who completed only 5 students or 21.73% and the average grade of 57.39. Improvements to cycle 1 were carried out by applying the experimental method with audio-visual media tools, with practicum activities and group discussions, only then there was a change in learning outcomes from 5 students who completed to 11 students who completed with a percentage of 47.82% and an average score class 64.56. Then the repair was carried out again with cycle 2, where researchers made improvements by further increasing motivation and guidance to students and further optimizing audio-visual media appropriately, finally student learning outcomes where all students were able to achieve complete scores with a 100% completeness percentage and an average score. the class reached 79.13. The conclusion is that the application of the experimental method (experimental) with audio-visual media aids succeeded in improving the learning outcomes of class V students in the second semester of SD Muhammadiyah Boja, Boja District, Kendal Regency for the 2019/2020 school year.

The low student learning outcomes in Thematic Learning Theme 1, Sub Theme 2 are caused by several factors, including student activities that are lacking in media that does not exist and the lack of source books for students so that it affects the student's involvement in the learning carried out. In this case the researcher as a class conducted a research entitled "Improving Student Learning Outcomes by Using Visual Media in Thematic Learning (Theme 1 Sub Theme 2) in class I SD Negeri 04 Kaja Pariaman" with the formulation of the problem, namely "Can Visual Media Improve the results? Student Learning in Thematic Learning (Theme 1 Sub Theme 2) in Class I SD Negeri 04 Kaja "The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes in learning theme 1 sub theme 2 in class I SD Negeri 04 Kaja." This research was conducted at SD Negeri 04 Kaja in grade I, and was implemented in two cycles. The first cycle consists of two meetings, the second cycle is also held twice. The problems that will be discussed when using this visual media are determined by the teacher as a researcher. After the first cycle using visual media, the results obtained were only at the beginning, namely active students only reached 60%. At the end of the second cycle, there was a significant increase, student learning activities on thematic (Theme 1 Sub Theme 2) and learning outcomes. This can be seen in the ongoing learning and the results of the initial and final tests whose average score is 63 to 88, increases. Thus the use of visual media is very supportive and good in improving student learning outcomes in Thematic learning (Theme 1 Sub Theme 2).

Abstract: Physics is one of the subjects that students consider difficult. This can be seen from the learning outcomes of students at SMAN 1 Pagaden Class X IPA 4, where the majority of students score below the KKM (minimum completeness criteria). Of the 36 students in class X IPA 4 in physics, only about 12 students got a complete score. Of course, this situation should get serious attention to improve student learning outcomes. One of the efforts made to improve learning outcomes is through authentic assessment. In this assessment, all student activities will be observed and rated according to their respective portions. This research is a descriptive qualitative study with a two-cycle model that is characteristic of Classroom Action Research. From the research results it was revealed that with authentic assessment of physics learning in Class X IPA 4 SMAN 1 Pagaden there was an increase in each cycle. In the first cycle, the students' average score on the skills aspect was around 71% and increased in the second cycle to 80%. So that the use of authentic assessment is one of the references as an effort to improve student learning outcomes.
