Learning during the pandemic that supports 21st century learning uses online learning and the media in the form of YouTube which has been prepared by the teacher in advance. The aim of this research was to improve the students’ reading comprehension at grade VII of SMPN 3 Bukit Batu. This research used classroom action research in two cycles consisting of 2 lessons per cycle with a total of 27 students. The results of the research before the action obtained an average of 65.81 with the number of students completed the KKM were 13, classically 48%. In the first cycle, learning was carried out by using youtube learning media so that an average of 70.2 was obtained with the number of students who completed were 20 people, with the percentage of classical completeness reaching 74.1%. Meanwhile, in the second cycle, an average of 83.5 was obtained with the number of students who completed were 26 people with the percentage of classical completeness reached 96.3%. The results of teacher observations found that the average cumulative results of the assessment on learning observation activities in the first cycle was 66.7 and increased in the second cycle by 91.7. Thus, it was concluded that the use of youtube media was able to improve students' reading comprehension.

This study presents a research report on improving students’ Learning results on IPA through Video. The objective was to find out whether students’ learning result improved when they are taught by using Video. It was conducted using classroom action research method. The subject of the study was the Grade IV students of SDN 187/IV Kota Jambi which is located on Jln. Adi Sucipto RT 05 Kecamatan Jambi Selatan, and the number of the students were 21 persons. The instruments used were test. In analyzing the data, the mean of the students’ score for the on fisrt sycle was 65,4 (42,85%) and the mean on cycle two was 68,5 (37,15%) and the mean of the third cycle was 81,4 (100%). Then it can be concluded that the use of video on learning IPA can improve the students’ learning result. It is suggested that teachers should use video as one of the media to improve students’ learning result on IPA.Keywords : IPA, students’ learning result, video

<p><em>The research has problem less reading comprehension ability explanation text in class IV. This research aims to increase reading comprehension ability using SQ3R in text explanation at IV class SDN Nantang. The researcher uses classroom action research. The result shows the use of SQ3R can increase reading comprehension ability in text explanation. Pre-test shows average scores are 45,83 with 27% complete and 73% incomplete. Cycle I with average scores are 75,67% with 60% complete and 40% incomplete and cycle II average scores 87,83 with 90% complete and 10% incomplete. The result of average is 42.  Reading comprehension ability is 53%. Based on the increase in pre-test until cycle I and cycle II, the conclusion is SQ3R can increase reading comprehension ability in text explanation at IV class SDN Nantang sub-district Cigalontang regency Tasikmalaya period 2020/2021</em></p>

This research was motivated by the lack of understanding of students during online learning. The purpose of this study was to improve the understanding of students in grade 5 SD Negeri Tlogorejo 2 Guntur Demak through zoom assisted by powerpoint media. This research was conducted in November 2020, at SD Negeri Tlogorejo 2 Guntur Demak. This type of research is a Classroom Action Research with three cycles consisting of one meeting in one cycle. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques and tools in this study used descriptive analysis techniques for data in the form of documents of students' work, lists of values and observation sheets. The results showed that assisted by powerpoint media through zooming the learning outcomes of students increased, namely in the first cycle there were 3 students who achieved mastery learning or 30%. In the second cycle there was an increase to 7 students who completed or 70%. Whereas in cycle III there were 8 students completing or 80% an increase of 50%. From the learning results of these students, it can be concluded that through zoom assisted by powerpoint can improve students' understanding.Keywords: understanding, powerpoint, PTK

Lack of student interest in learning mathematics is a scourge that needs immediate action. In this study, researchers used the media geoboard and rubber bands as a tool to increase interest in learning. The study was conducted with Classroom Action Research which was successfully completed in two cycles. The results of this study are increased student interest in mathematics before taking action only 12 students, after cycles I and II, made 20 students interested in a total of 22 students. Increasing learning outcomes and concept understanding was very good. At the end of the action in the second cycle it was found that all students had understood the concept of calculating area and circumference of rectangular and triangular shapes.

The aims of this research is to improve reading comprehension of the eighth-grade students using think-pair-share technique. The researchers applying this technique is to make students actively learn in classthrough pair discussions and sharing information with their friends. The researchers used a classroom action research (CAR) method, this research has been carried out in three cycles to achieve students improvement in reading comprehension. The mean scores of students in the first cycle is 57.60, in the second cycle is 64.67, and in  the third cycle is 77.20. The mean scores of the three cycles prove that the think-pair-share technique has succeeded in improving students' reading comprehension of recount text. Keywords: Think-Pair-Share, Reading comprehension ,Recount text.

This research was designed to improve the students` reading comprehension through Think Talk Write at the first-grade students of SMKN 1 Lasusua. The research problem was “The reading comprehension of the first- grade students of SMKN 1 Lasusua is low”. The design of this research was collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR).In this research, there were two cycles. The first cycle was not success because the result of the students’ test did not fulfill the KKM, so there was the next cycle. The second cycle was success because the result of the student test achieved the KKM mandatory by the school. In addition, this research must get score of 70 to fulfill the Minimum Mastery Criterion – Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). It could be seen in the average score, it was 68.6 in the first cycle, and there were only 17 students from 35 students got greater score than or equal 70. This score increased to be 74.77 in the second cycle, there were 26 from 35 students got score greater than or equal 70. It means that this research was successful. Based on the findings, the conclusion is Think Talk Write strategy could improve the students` comprehension in reading at the first-grade students of SMKN 1 Lasusua.

This research aimed to find the use of Patterned Partner Reading strategy improve the students reading comprehension at the SMP Muhammadiyah Limbung. The researcher used A Classroom Action Research (CAR). The researcher had conducted two cycles, where each cycle consisted of four meetings. This classroom action research was one at SMP Muhammadiyah Limbung. As subject in this research was the second class with students’ number as about 30 students consist of 7 man and 23 women. The instruments were observation sheet and test sheet. The research findings indicated that the application of patterned partner reading strategy was effective and significant in improving the students’ reading skill especially students’ reading comprehension. It was proved that the mean score of D-Test was 60.8, Cycle I 75.5 and after conducted Cycle II improved to 93 And based of mean score of students’ reading comprehension during two cycle researcher found percentage improvement that is from D-Test to Cycle I is 24.17% and from Cycle I to Cycle II is 23.17 and D-Test to Cycle II 52.96%. It means that there was the improvement of students’ reading comprehension on learning process.

<p>This research was purposed to find out how the use of structural analysis improve the reading comprehension of E class second semester students of Business English and Management Major Tonggak Equator Polytechnic in the academic year 2017-2018 and how significant does the use of structural analysis improve the reading comprehension of E class second semester students of Business English and Management Major Tonggak Equator Polytechnic in academic year 2017-2018. This research was classroom action research which was set out in two cycles, they are the first and second cycle. The subject of this research was E class second semester students of Business English and Management Concentration of Tonggak Equator Polytechnic in the academic year 2017-2018. Field note and test were used in collecting the data. The test consists of pre-test and progress-test. The data of the students' pre-test and progress-test score were analyzed by using the mean score and the data of the observation by using field note was analyzed descriptively. The finding of the research was structural analysis positively improved the reading comprehension of E class second semester students of Business English and Management Major Tonggak Equator Polytechnic in academic year 2017-2018 within two cycles, and the significance of the use of structural analysis in improving the reading comprehension of E class second semester students of Business English and Management Major Tonggak Equator Polytechnic in academic year 2017-2018 could be seen based on the test given they were 64 for the pre-test, 71.6 for the first progress-test and 83.4 for the second progress-test, and from the field note, that the students looked tired, sleepy, looked for answer from student beside them and could not finish the test by the time given by the researcher in the first cycle but have significant progress in the second cycle that the students looked more relax in doing the test and could finish the test by the time given by the researcher.<br />Keywords: reading comprehension, structural analysis, classroom action research.</p>

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar Matematika materi irisan dan gabungan dua himpunan dengan menerapkan Portal Rumah Belajar pada Kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya tahun ajaran 2012 - 2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dua siklus dan tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 langlah yaitu : (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi.Hasil penelitian Penggunaan Portal Rumah Belajar pada siswa Kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya, terbukti meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa, sebelum tindakan siswa yang tuntas belajar sebanyak 22 siswa atau 73,3 %, pada Siklus I siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 23 siswa atau 76,7 %. sedangkan pada Siklus II siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 28 siswa atau 93,3 %. Dengan demikian kualitas pembelajaran dari sebelum tindakan sampai dengan Siklus II terjadi peningkatan. Saran dalam PTK ini adalah: Guru harus memotivasi siswa untuk belajar secara inovatif mempergunakan media pembelajaran. Guru hendaknya memiliki paradigma bahwa guru bukan satu-satunya sumber belajar. Pembelajaran Matematika hendaknya disampaikan dengan menggunakan media yang mampu menyenangkan siswa dan mampu membuat siswa aktif. Kata Kunci: Himpunan, Portal Rumah BelajarAbstract: Math is considered difficult and students have less motivation in learning math. That is why teacher must provide approprite learning medium to ease the students to learn math. The aim of this study was to increase students’ mathematic learning achievement on intersection set and union set by applying the Portal Rumah Belajar for Seventh Grade A of Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Surabaya year 2012 - 2013. The design of the study was Classroom Action Research. In this study two cycles were conducted, and each of which consisted of 4 steps, namely: (1) plan, (2) act, (3) observe, and (4) reflect. The use of Portal Rumah Belajar could increase the achievement of seventh grade students of Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Surabaya. The number of student passing the competency in the pre-action was 22 students or 73.3%, in the cycle was 23 students or 76.7%, and in the cycle II were 28 students or 93.3%. Thus the quality of learning increased between pre-action and the second cycle. Recommendation from this classroom action research was: teacher should motivate students to learn innovatively by using instructional media. Teachers should have a paradigm that teacher was not the only source of learning. Learning math should be submitted using the media to please students and be able to keep students active. The children of disorder intellectually undemanding should have reading comprehension competence to be able to follow the instructional development optimally. However, many children do not have such competence that they can not understand the reading passages properly. To solve the problem, this research conducted a classroom action research in the fifth grade of SDLB C Dian Kahuripan, Jakarta. Employing Close method in two cycles, the research discovered significant improvement of the students’ reading comprehension competence. The research concludes that Close method with a number of techniques and activities is effective to solve the reading comprehension problems faced by the children of disorder intellectually undemanding
