Motorcycle are movable objects that become public transportation needs. Motorcyclists include people from various backgrounds have experienced accidents. One of the causes of accidents is the speed. Motorcycle that has accident will fall and get injured. The need to know the cause of the accident requires investigation and analysis. Data needed to analyze traffic accidents such as vehicle operating speed and location of the accident. Required data can be obtained by utilizing infrared sensor as motorcycle speed sensor, gyroscope sensor for indicators of falling or not motorcycle and GPS to determine the coordinate points of movement motorcycle. This information is communicated using GSM module. The information is sent to the database and then displayed via Android application and the data log is stored on smartphone storage. Based on the results of tests carried out, it is known that accuracy of the speed sensor readings is 98.39% from 12 tests. The GPS test tool compared to Garmin GPS has an average difference of 3.14158 meters. The fall indicator can function properly when falls and the data can be viewed via Android application. The data is stored on smartphones and in firebase storage. The average delay test is 7,087 seconds.

Aiming to facilitate the choice of transport links leading from a starting location to a destination in greater Cairo, we propose in this work a public transportation mobile (android) application to assist users of public transport. The system is a pilot application that considers the public mini-buses network in three areas of Cairo, and builds the database of the mini-bus network verified on the ground. From this database, the transportation network graph consisting of nodes and possible links between them is constructed. Upon request, the system then identifies the series of public transport possible, calculates the shortest path between the two chosen locations, and displays the bus, or series of buses, and the routes to the user, ordered by distance. The specialized algorithm Dijkstra was implemented to find the shortest route.

Pemesanan tiket biasanya dilakukan sebelum melakukan perjalanan menggunakan trasnpotrasi umum. Saat ini pemesanan tiket masih dilakukan dengan cara konvensional yaitu datang langsung ke perusahaan travel. Proses pemesanan ini kurang efektif karena banyak menghabiskan  waktu dan biaya. Penelitian ini menghasilkan aplikasi penjualan tiket travel di Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota berbasis android. Perancangan aplikasi menggunakan metode prototyping dengan pemograman java berbasis android menggunakan software aplikasi android studio dengan versi gradle 4.10.3. Pada aplikasi ini terdapat fitur jadwal dan tarif. Pada pemesanan tersedia fitur chat untuk memudahkan komunikasi antara penumpang dengan perusahaan travel. Pembuatan aplikasi ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan pengguna dalam melakukan pemesanan tiket travel dimana saja dan kapan saja. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini sangat bermanfaat bagi perusahaan travel PO Bahagia, karena dari pemesenan tiket secara manual menjadi lebih praktis dan memudahkan pengguna memesan tiket tanpa harus ke loket.Kata kunci : travel, tiket, android, aplikasi. Ticket reservations are usually made before traveling using public transportation. Currently, ticket reservations are still done in the conventional way that is, come directly to the travel company. This ordering process is less effective because it consumes a lot of time and money. This research resulted in an application for selling travel tickets in Lima Puluh Kota Regency based on Android. The design of the application uses the prototyping method with Java-based Android programming using Android Studio application software with Gradle version 4.10.3. In this application, there is a schedule and tariff feature. In the chat feature available to facilitate communication between passengers and travel companies. The making of this application aims to facilitate users in booking travel tickets anywhere and anytime. This application is very useful for PO Bahagia travel companies because manually ordering tickets becomes more practical and makes it easier for users to order tickets without having to go to the ticket window.Keywords: travel, ticket, android, application

ABSTRACTThis research develops a prototype of a remotely controlled lawn mower using Android smartphone with Bluetooth connection to avoid the risk of accidents. The lawn mower is controlled by an Android application developed with Mit App Inventor using HC-05 Bluetooth module connection. This prototype uses a DC motor as a driving motor to rotate the blade with an LM393 speed sensor using Arduino Uno microcontroller. The developed system is equipped with an option of grass height that can be adjusted. The test of HC-05 Bluetooth module resulted the maximum acceptable connection distance in the open space is 80 m and the maximum connection distance with a barrier is 10.45 m. DC motor speed tests are carried out on the lawn mowers at no load and loaded conditions. The results showed a slight decrease in motor speed at the grass height of 6 cm and 4 cm, but at 2 cm height the rotation dropped significantly.Keywords: lawn mower, remote control, Arduino Uno, Bluetooth, Android

To provide helpful suggestions to bus companies regarding reducing the number of bus accidents and improving public transportation safety, we further researched the relationship between driving skills and driving behaviors; bus drivers from six bus companies of the Hefei Bus Group were investigated. The reliability and validity of the Driver Behaviour Questionnaire, the Driver Skill Inventory, and 287 valid questionnaires were tested; the relationships between the Driver Behaviour Questionnaire and Driver Skill Inventory factors were explored; and their influence on traffic accidents was analyzed by structural equation modeling. Significant positive associations were found between driving experience and safety motive, whereas negative relationships were found between errors and safety motive. Safety motive has a negative effect on violations, and violations are the most important factor leading to traffic accidents. Therefore, bus companies should enhance safety education, and interventions should not only directly relate to the involvement of bus drivers in traffic accidents but also consider the role played by violations.

Background: As the elderly population and the number of older drivers grow, public safety concerns about traffic accidents involving older drivers are increasing. Approaches to reduce traffic accidents involving older drivers without limiting their mobility are needed. This study aimed to investigate the driving cessation (DC) rate among older Korean adults and predictors of DC based on the comprehensive mobility framework. Method: In this cross-sectional study, data from 2970 to 10,062 older adults over 65 years old from the 2017 National Survey of Elderly People were analyzed in April 2020. Multivariate logistic regression analyses were conducted to identify the predictors of DC. Results: Residential area, an environmental factor, was a strong predictor of DC (Odds Ratio (OR) 2.21, 95% Confidential Interval (CI) 1.86–2.62). Older drivers living in an area with a metro system were 2.21 more likely to stop driving than those living in an area without a metro system. Other demographic, financial, psychosocial, physical, and cognitive variables also predicted DC. Conclusion: Environmental factors were strong predictors of older adults’ DC. Therefore, political and environmental support, such as the provision of accessible public transportation, is essential to increase the DC rate among older adults to increase public safety without decreasing their mobility.

Many public transport drivers in City of Dili do not apply various regulations from the government. Located on Becora-Baidi, Becora-Bidau, and Tasi Tolu-Bidau Road. This causes congestion and traffic accidents, and impact on economy. The purpose of study is to determine the trip generation model and its factors, city transportation service performance, and how to formulate TDM concept in public transport. The survey conducted was daily volume of public transport, questionnaires, and interviews 2020. Looking for value of angkot generation with instrument test and multiple regression (IBM SPSS 22). To analyze services used parameters and Severy Index. Then, concept of Transportation Demand Management (TDM) with Guttman Scale. After analyzing, the trip generation value, Y = -1,3920 + 0,0275.X1 + 0,4958.X2 + 0,1734.X3 – 0,0601. X4 - 0,0657.X5 - 0,0001.X6 - 0,0193.X7 - 0,7670.X8 + 0,8801.X9 + 0,6721.X10 + 0,1058.X11, positive value is factor that most influences the respondent's decision to trips using public transportation: gender (X1), age (X2), job (X3), duration of trip (X9), number of passengers (X10), and waiting time for public transportation (X11). However, in service level is still “low” category. Then, for TDM concept gets 87% in 51%-99% range. Means that angkot users agree, if TDM concept is propose to the government of Dili City, and public transportation will be better in the future. Many governments have banned strikes in public transportation. Whether this can be justified depends on whether strikes endanger public safety or health. We use time-series and cross-sectional variation in powerful registry data to quantify the effects of public transit strikes on urban populations in Germany. Due to higher traffic volumes and longer travel times, total car hours operated increase by 11 to 13 percent during strikes. This effect is accompanied by a 14 percent increase in vehicle crashes, a 20 percent increase in accident-related injuries, a 14 percent increase in particle pollution, and an 11 percent increase in hospital admissions for respiratory diseases among young children. Public transportation is a key solution to a connecting city in Indonesia country. An important factor of driver behavior and driver fatigue is the potential for loss in this field. This study aims to identify traffic loss risk factors associated with demographic characteristics, fatigue levels, body mass index, driver experience blood pressure levels, and inappropriate driver attitudes on public transport as well as to find out the effects of fatigue levels. This research is a cross-sectional technique with descriptive analytics. The sample in this study was 67 professional bus drivers with licenses in Central Java Province, Indonesia. Data collection in the month 1-30 January 2021. Based on the results of the study showed that 67 respondents, 77.6% experienced severe level fatigue, 85.1% worked more than 8 hours, 73.1% had a smoking habit. For Body Mass Index 29.9% are overweight, 65.7% have prehypertensive blood pressure levels. The fatigue experienced by public transport drivers is categorical as heavy (77.6%). periodic checks are required regarding the level of fatigue so that the risk of traffic accidents does not occur. The policy regarding working hours must be carried out from an average of 13.82 hours per day to 8 hours, according to regulations and a bus driver's working period of more than 5 years is a record of future health problems. Professional bus drivers have a dangerous level of fatigue, so there needs to be a change in the work system in order to avoid the risk of traffic accidents related to public transportation.

Road users other than online public transportation must also be given legal protection and together enjoy the convenience of traffic facilities. Drivers are required to concentrate while driving a vehicle. This is regulated in Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Transportation Traffic, Article 106 that everyone driving a motorized vehicle on the road is obliged to drive his vehicle fairly and with full concentration. The observations made were that attaching a communication device to online public transportation proved that the telephone was used while driving a vehicle. Communicating by telephone while driving a vehicle will cause an accident that will harm other road users. This study discusses the regulations for using the telephone while driving against online motorcycle taxis and law enforcement analysis the regulations for using the telephone while driving against online motorcycle taxis in Bandar Lampung. The results showed the telephone regulations while driving to online motorcycle taxis in Bandar Lampung were Permenhub No. 12 of 2019 Article 4, Article 6, Article 17, Article 18, and Article 19. The results of the analysis of law enforcement on the use of telephones while driving in the form of online motorcycle taxis to contact consumers on their way to the location 3 (three) times, namely 32% (thirty-two per cent) and the intensity of online motorcycle taxis to contact consumers more than 3 (three) times, namely 27% (twenty-seven percent). The analysis data has proven that the intensity of contacting passengers is very much done while driving. Online motorcycle taxi drivers do not obey the rules because they communicate more by telephone while driving.
