In 2012, the Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy (JSDT) established the order of correction of P, corrected Ca (cCa), and whole PTH (w-PTH) in the treatment of Chronic Kidney Disease-Metabolic Bone Disorder (CKD-MBD) as P-first. However, there is no report that analyzes whether this rule is in line with reality and what the adequate rate of P is. Therefore, we analyzed the test values of our 48 patients during the year of 2019 and examined the validity of the results. The results showed that the adequate range rates were 70.8% for P, 100% for cCa, and 89.6% for w-PTH. This result is better than the JSDT Web-based Analysis of Dialysis Data Archives (WADDA) P adequacy rate of 66.2%. Although the guideline is P-first, it is often the case that we cannot reach the adequate level; therefore, healthcare professionals and patients often blame each other. We believe that this is due to the mismatch between the modern era of processed foods covered with P additives and treatment methods (P intake restriction and P-binders). The development of processed foods with P additives has brought light and darkness to mankind. The light side is freedom from starvation, and the dark side is a new condition caused by P burden: P burden disease (CKD-MBD).

Offering a series of diagnosis and individual remedial learning activities for a general class by means of web and multimedia technology can overcome the dilemma of conventional diagnosis and remedial instruction. The study proposes a three-layer conceptual framework and adopts a two-tier diagnostic test theory to develop a web-based two-tier diagnostic test and remedial learning management system called “the Dr. System.” The study also designs the two-tier diagnostic test items of electro-magnetic concepts and the related multimedia remedial learning materials based on the theory of modular course for the purpose of investigating the remedial learning effects. In addition, the study helps the participants eliminate their misconception through a quasi-experiment at an elementary school in a metropolitan area of northern Taiwan. The results show that the learners of the experimental group who received the treatment under the Dr. System performed significantly better than those who took the traditional remedial class. The study also indicates that the web-based two-tier diagnostic test helps us understand learners’ misconceptions. As a result, it also provides learners useful remedial multimedia materials, which are necessary for them to eliminate their individual misconceptions in the remedial learning process.

Since the late 1990s, the technical group at the Max-Planck-Institute for Psycholinguistics has worked on solutions for important challenges in building sustainable data archives, in particular, how to guarantee long-time-availability of digital research data for future research.The support for the well-known DOBES (Documentation of Endangered Languages) programme has greatly inspired and advanced this work, and lead to the ongoing development of a whole suite of tools for annotating, cataloguing and archiving multi-media data. At the core of the LAT (Language Archiving Technology) tools is the IMDI metadata schema, now being integrated into a larger network of digital resources in the European CLARIN project. The multi-media annotator ELAN (with its web-based cousin ANNEX) is now well known not only among documentary linguists.We aim at presenting an overview of the solutions, both achieved and in development, for creating and exploiting sustainable digital data, in particular in the area of documenting languages and cultures, and their interfaces with related other developments.

Designed for librarians, Question Master (QM) (at http://purl.org/net/Question_Master) is a decision-support system automating some of the more routine, fact-type reference questions encountered in libraries. A series of Web pages guides librarians through a set of clarifying questions before making recommendations of an appropriate electronic or relevant print resource from WorldCat, the OCLC Online Union Catalog. The goal is to improve the accuracy of reference transactions, which in turn should lead to increased end-user satisfaction. Based on usability studies of QM’s biographical module, this study found that although the system already was easy to use, its usability could be improved in several ways. Its ability to answer questions was 100 percent, with an accuracy rate of 66 percent compared to Weil’s 64 percent accuracy. In addition, QM accuracy was substantially better than most reported studies of real reference environments and certainly better than the Internet results of 20 percent for HotBot and 30 percent for AltaVista.

✓ In a patient with Camurati-Engelmann disease, orbital and optic nerve decompression resulted in improvement of papilledema. Subsequent x-ray films of the optic canals, however, revealed reconstitution of osseous optic canals bilaterally, and papilledema has returned in one eye. Definitive treatment of this dysplastic metabolic bone disorder rests in the control of rapid abnormal bone formation.

In the Modern Era, a source of electrical energy is very necessary, given the large number of electronic equipment that really requires a source of electrical energy. Solarcell is a device or component that can convert light energy into electrical energy. However, the energy used in this solar panel needs to be considered the efficiency of its use. Therefore it is necessary to monitor currents and voltages and loads in real time to determine the energy needs of solar panels for lamps. Monitoring of voltage, load and current on this solar panel is based on a microcontroller. The voltage generated by the solar panel and the battery voltage is measured using a sensor. It takes a Web and a modem device to send solar panel measurement data from a distance, with remote monitoring makes it easier to find out what the voltage and load is without having to be in place of the solar panel. Web as a control for lights, blackouts, dim and bright lights, on the web can monitor voltage and current values. The results of the microcontroller ADC are able to send data to the web. The data stored in the ms.excel file contains the voltage from the solar cell, the current at the load and the time when storing and charging the battery. The lights can only last 5 hours when all loads are active (ON), while charging (charging) for 13 hours when the battery is empty.

Databases and the World Wide Web have overwhelmed the information market. Bibliographic reference databases with links to electronic journals that publish full text manuscripts provide information seekers with a wide range of fast and convienient searching methods. Increasingly organisations present their activities on the WWW which allows them to disseminate updated information about their experts, publications and on-going research projects better than was possible previously. The web technology has a major advantage over printed products since it allows end-users to search, browse and print the information in different formats according to their own specific needs. Agricultural and food science papers published in Finland have been documented annually in this journal for a number of years, but the advent of web technologies have made this much less valuable.;

The role of the endocannabinoid/endovanilloid (EC/EV) system in bone metabolism has recently received attention. Current literature evidences the modulation of osteoclasts and osteoblasts through the activation or inhibition of cannabinoid receptors in various pathological conditions with secondary involvement of bone tissue. However, this role is still unclear in primary bone diseases. Paget’s disease of the bone (PDB) could be considered a disease model for analyzing the role of the EC/EV system on osteoclasts (OCs), speculating the potential use of specific agents targeting this system for managing metabolic bone disorders. The aim of the study is to analyze OCs expression of EC/EV system in patients with PDB and to compare OCs activity between this population and healthy people. Finally, we investigate whether specific agents targeting EC/EV systems are able to modulate OCs activity in this metabolic bone disorder. We found a significant increase in cannabinoid receptor type 2 (CB2) protein expression in patients with PDB, compared to healthy controls. Moreover, we found a significant reduction in multi-nucleated tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP)–positive OCs and resorption areas after treatment with JWH-133. CB2 could be a molecular target for reducing the activity of OCs in PDB, opening new therapeutic scenarios for the management of this condition.

In this modern era, due to demand for cloud environments in business, the size, complexity, and chance of attacks to virtual cloud network (VCN) are increased. The protection of VCN is required to maintain the faith of the cloud users. Intrusion detection is essential to secure any network. The existing approaches that use the conventional neural network cannot utilize all information for identifying the intrusions. In this paper, the anomaly-based NIDS for VCN is proposed. For feature selection, grey wolf optimization (GWO) is hybridized with a bald eagle search (BES) algorithm. For classification, a deep learning approach - deep sparse auto-encoder (DSAE) is employed. In this way, this paper proposes a NIDS model for VCN named - GWO-DES-DSAE. The proposed system is simulated in the python programming environment. The proposed NIDS model's performance is compared with other recent approaches for both binary and multi-class classification on the considered datasets - NSL-KDD, UNSW-NB15, and CICIDS 2017 and found better than other methods.

Metallocages offer a diverse and underexplored region of chemical space to search for novel catalysts and substrate hosts. However, the ability to tailor such structures towards applications in binding and catalysis is a challenging task. Here, we present an open-source computational toolkit, cgbind, that facilitates the characterization and prediction of functional metallocages. It employs known structural scaffolds as starting points, and computationally efficient approaches for the evaluation of geometric and chemical properties. To illustrate the applicability of cgbind, we evaluate the likelihood of 102 substrates to bind within M2L4 and M4L6 cages and achieve accuracy comparable or better than semi-empirical electronic structure methods. The cgbind code presented here is freely available at github.com/duartegroup/cgbind and also via a web-based graphical user interface at cgbind.chem.ox.ac.uk. The protocol described here paves the way for high-throughput virtual screening of potential supramolecular structures, accelerating the search for new hosts and catalysts.
