Crows and ravens are deeply symbolic. They have featured in myriads of myths and legends. They have been perceived as ominous, totemic, but also smart and intelligent birds by various peoples around the world. They have heralded bad luck and evoked negative associations. How are they perceived today, in the time of the Internet, mobile devices, and popular culture? Is the young generation familiar with the legends, tales, or beliefs related to these birds? The purpose of this paper was to determine the place of the crow and raven in the consciousness of young generations, referred to as Generation Y and Generation Z. The authors proposed that young people, Generations Y and Z, were not familiar with the symbolism of crows and ravens, attached no weight to them, and failed to appreciate their past cultural roles. The survey involved respondents aged 60 and over as well. Both online surveys and direct, in-depth, structured interviews were employed. It was demonstrated that the crow and raven are ominous birds that herald bad luck and evoke negative associations and feelings in the consciousness of young generations. The perception of crows and ravens by the younger generation stems mostly from popular culture and the appearance and behavior of the birds. The ways in which crows and ravens are represented in popular culture and perceived by the public may directly affect their fate in areas with human presence.

One of the environmental problems in urban areas is the pollution caused by garbage. The waste problem is caused by various factors such as population growth, living standards changes, lifestyles and behavior, as well as how the waste management system. This study aims to determine how the role of society to levy payments garbage in Samarinda. This research was descriptive; where the data is collected then compiled, described and analyzed used relative frequency analysis. The participation of the public to pay a "levy junk", which stated to pay 96.67%, for each month and the rates stated society cheap, moderate and fairly, respectively 46.08%, 21.21%, 21.04%. Base on the data , the role of the community to pay "levy junk" quite high.

Purpose: This study is aimed to analyze entrepreneurial intention of youth during the process towards young entrepreneur that is intellectually, mentally, and economically independent, approached by planned behavior principles. Design/methodology/approach: The quantitative research method with three variables (attitude, social norm and behavior) was used as the predictor of young entrepreneurial intention. The respondents are 127 young adult aged 18-28 years old with High School/Vocational School as their minimum education and domiciled in Surabaya and Sidoarjo. Likert scale with 5 levels was used as the research questionnaire, distributed with two methods that are filling out the questionnaire by online and manually. Findings:  The result shows that attitude, social norm and behavior variable give positive contribution in creating young generation entrepreneurial intention in metropolis. Indicator which gives strong contribution in triggering entrepreneurial intention of young generator is that the paradigm of being entrepreneur is able to give benefits, satisfaction and as a choice. Social factor encouraging establishing the businesses are friends and relatives. Behaviors impelling it are the feeling of being able and having enough knowledge in starting the business as well as able to manage the business. The constraints are coming from little encouragement of family and low belief for getting success. Research limitations/implications: This study was conducted in two urban areas in East Java. Further research can be done on a wider area. Practical implications: Entrepreneurial intention of youth is unique inasmuch as it has environment and complexity characteristics which enables to give impact towards society.  Originality/value: This study focuses on urban areas with young adults respondents which can provide new references to factors that may encourage or hamper their interest in becoming entrepreneurs Paper type: Research paper

<p><em>Today’s Indonesian youth consider Pancasila a history and a foundation. It effect to the reducing sense of nationalism in their souls, moreover with the lack of effectiveness in learning and understanding the values of Pancasila. Young Generation is a translation of young generation instead old age. Youth means the population of teenagers or young people who are still developing. Generation Z are those who are born after the internet era- generations who enjoyed the technology after the birth of the internet. This generation can be said as people who have grown up or have jobs and other things that can affect the economy, politics and social life in the world today. Generation Z as stated by Aulia Adam, 28 April 2017, in this world, there has never been a generation that was born familiar with technology. Generasi Muda adalah terjemahan dari young generation lawan dari <em>old age</em>. <em>Youth</em> mengandung arti populasi remaja atau anak muda atau pemuda yang sedang membentuk dirinya. Genersi Z adalah mereka yang lahir setelah generasi internet – generasi yang sudah menikmati keajiban teknologi usai kelahiran internet. Generasi ini dapat dikatakan sebagai orang yang sudah beranjak dewasa atau sudah punya pekerjaan dan hal-hal lain yang bisa mempengaruhi ekonomi, politik dan kehidupan sosial dunia kini. Generasi Z dikatakan oleh Aulia  Adam, 28 April 2017. didunia belum pernah ada generasi yang sejak lahir sudah akrab dengan teknologi. Ini merupakan penyebab dari pengaruh derasnya globalisasi teknologi saat ini sehingga solusi yang dapat kita lakukan yaitu dengan adanya kerja sama antara pemerintah, orangtua dan lembaga pendidikan untuk terus mengawasi tindakan dan perilaku generasi muda yang diiringi dengan memberikan pemahaman dan pengarahan akan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Generasi-generasi baru inilah yang dapat menyebabkan adanya penyimpangan nilai-nilai Panacasila dan sekaligus lunturnya kristalisasi Pancasila. Pada penulisan ini, metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah metode studi literatur.</p><p><strong>Kata kunci</strong> : Generasi muda, Penyimpangan nilai-nilai Pancasila, Lunturnya Pancasila, gadget, Era Millennial.</p>

The relevance of the study is associated with the transformation of media consumption of the young generation under the influence of the realities of the information society. Of particular theoretical significance is the identification of the degree of objectivity of the rationale for differentiating the young generation of media consumers into two sub-groups – Y and Z. The empirical basis was both the results of studies of youth media consumption presented by various domestic authors, as well as their own study of media consumption by Tambov schoolchildren and students. The research material is the online publications Meduza and NR, which were named as the source of news by the majority of the polled millenials and centenials. The methodological base of the work is based on a systematic approach and a comparative method. The results of this study show that the media consumption of generations Y and Z has identical characteristics: multitasking thinking, a high level of technological culture, the desire for active consumption of information, the need for individual choice of media content. However, one can state the objectivity of justifying the differentiation of the young generation of media consumers into two subgroups. Millennials are characterized by egocentricity, centennials – by tolerance; in the content of information for generation Y, an element of the game is obligatory, and for generation Z – the actual basis; millennials are self-confident, open to various streams of information, while centenials are distinguished by an ironic view of the world.

Intimate photos are shared online post-relationship and end up picked up by for-profit pornographic websites. Privy information is leaked into private (narrow-cast) or semi-public or public spaces (broadcast) with massive amplifications of messages into the public sphere. Violent attacks and beat-downs are videotaped and shared on video sharing sites. Flash or cyber mobs are brought together to clean-out stores and to exact vengeance on particular businesses. Information and Communication Technology (ICT), with its nexus of pseudo-anonymity, fast dissemination of information, long-term persistence of data, and mass reach, provides multiple affordances for the exacting of vengeance. The popular culture of anonymous hacktivism and cyber-vigilantism further contribute to the sense of the Internet as an ungoverned and extralegal place. Finally, a general imprudence has meant the easy activation of Internet mobs and individuals to harm-causing rumor-sharing and behavior against others—sparked by doubtful claims or loose storytelling. ICT has enabled the spillover of real-world antipathies and dark emotions into virtual spaces, which then slosh back into the real world. This chapter examines the research in the area of vengeance and how such very human impetuses manifest online. Further, this chapter examines the design features of various ICT platforms and socio-technical spaces that may support vengeance-based communications and actions and proposes ways to mitigate some of these dark affordances.

Background: Generation Y (Millennial) and generation Z (IGeneration) are proven to be the two generations that dominate the use of information communication technology today. Living in a rapidly developing technology era and abundant information should make them have nutritional knowledge, attitudes and behavior towards a good visual balanced nutrition. However, Riskesdas 2018 shows an increase in the prevalence of obesity in adults by 21.8%. This high prevalence is said to be an indicator of low knowledge about balanced nutrition even though the two generations live in an era of abundant information.Objectives: Analyzing differences in nutritional knowledge, attitudes and behavior regarding visual balanced nutrition between generation Y and generation Z.Methods: This research is an observational analytic study with cross sectional design. Selection of research subjects with total sampling. A sample of 40 respondents was obtained from generation Y and 40 respondents from generation Z. Using the independent t-test statistical test to determine differences in nutritional knowledge, attitudes and behaviors regarding balanced nutrition visuals (balanced nutrition cone and my plate) in generation Y and generation Z.Results: There are differences in nutritional knowledge in generation Y and generation Z (p = 0.0001), there are differences in attitudes about visual balanced nutrition in generation and generation Z (p = 0.0001), and there are differences in nutritional behavior towards visual balanced nutrition of generation Y and generation Z (p = 0.029). From the above values, it can be said that the value of sampling bias on nutritional knowledge and attitudes is smaller than behavior.Conclusion: The three results show that there are differences in nutritional knowledge, attitudes and behavior between these two generations.

Background: The husband has an important role in women's health. However, the information related to their roles is limited, including from the perspectives of health professionals. The health professionals' support and behavior have influenced men's and women's health behavior. Purpose: This study aimed to determine the health professionals’ perceptions of husbands’ roles and behavior in women's health, especially in the Muslim community.Methods: A qualitative descriptive approach applied in this study. Data were collected using the interview method. Ten clinicians from rural and urban areas of West Java, Indonesia, with a range of experience engaging with Muslim husbands involved in this study. Semi-structured interviews were recorded and then transcribed by the researchers. The transcribed data were analyzed using the comparative analysis for the interview technique.Results: Four main themes were identified: (1) Contextual factors impact husbands' roles in women's health; (2) Extensive roles of Muslim husbands in women's health; (3) Husbands and others involved in decisions about women's health; and (4) Level of health literacy affects husband's actions in women's health and cancer.Conclusion: Health professionals perceived that husbands' roles in Muslim women's health are pivotal, especially in supporting health treatments in health services. Little information was obtained about husbands' support in cancer prevention and early detection. Nurses can take the lead in improving Muslim husbands' understanding of women's health and cancer and raising their awareness of cancer screening for their wives.

Rapid depopulation of rural areas caused overpopulation in urban areas. This led to cultural changes and made it inevitably necessary to define the new folk and folklore by the folklorists. The fact that Alan Dundes defines the public as "any group of people whatsoever who share at least one common factor" has enabled the folklorists to examine the cultural products that have emerged in cities as a result of the developments and changes in regard to migration and urbanization.Latife Tekin, one of the prominent authors in Turkish literature after 1980, published her second book called Berji Kristin: Tales from the Garbage Hills in 1984. The book is a story of a slum. The compliance processes of the slum dwellers and the struggle with such issues as the wind, unemployment, and poverty have been narrated through the cultural products. Based on Alan Dundes' perspective from the articles called 'Who are the folk?' and 'What is folklore?', the novel has adopted the point of view that "each group has its own folklore," and some distinctive traditions that squatters call their own have been determined in the novel. The emergence of the traditions due to the fact that the slum dwellers cannot transform into urbanites and yet cannot remain provincial either establishes the primary topic of the present article.Extended English abstract is in the end of PDF (TURKISH) file. ÖzetKöyden kente göçlerin hızla artması köy nüfusunu azaltırken kent nüfusunu arttırmıştır. Gecekondu sakinlerinin kentli olamayışı bununla birlikte köylü de kalamayışlarının doğurduğu bu âdetler makalenin ana konusunu oluşturmuştur

The research reported in the present paper focuses on the application of the public relations function of messaging to the higher education sector. The study draws on relevant perspectives from marketing, education, psychology, and the study of Generation Z. The Theory of Planned Behavior (Ajzen, 1988) serves as the conceptual framework for this research. The homepages of the top twenty small colleges and universities, identified by College Consensus, are scrutinized using Content Analyzes. The results suggest that the values and behavior of Generation Z are not fully covered on each homepage analyzed; however, there is an understanding that such messaging is needed. This review calls for further theoretical work on the implementation of the Theory of Planned Behavior and reveals considerations for the virtual future of marketing for higher education.
