Development of Smart Librarian with the Virtual Assistant (PRIMO)

In modern life, with the ability to perform tasks, the virtual assistant (VA) can make our lives easier and smart. The virtual assistant can perform as a librarian, very smartly, and effectively. We build our VA with Raspberry Pi and Alexa Voice Service. As a result, few discussions that occur in library environments such as find books, short review books, university notice are accurately performed. The common way of communication used by people in day to day life is through speech. If the assistant system can be heard to the customer for the handle of the day to day affairs, then grant the right reply, it will be much simple for customers to transmit with their assistant system, and the assistant will be much better “Smart” as a personal assistant. We heard a very old story “Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves”, where the mouth of a treasure cave secured by magic. It unrolls on the words "unroll sesame" and seals itself on the words "near sesame". The magic is a VA in the modern world. The VA system built on artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, natural language processing, and voice recognition technology.

Introduction. The study describes different expressive means and devices which are used in TV advertising texts. Advertising has taken a dominant place on television and radio, in newspapers and magazines, and on the Internet. Advertising has become a conglomerate that has covered almost every area of our lives. The relevance of the study. The increasing role of advertising in the modern world has led to an increased interest in the study of this social phenomenon among scholars in various fields. A text is one of the most important components of advertising and a means of manipulation. Creating an effective, influential advertising text, which excites the consumer desire to buy an advertised item, requires the precise selection and a successful combination of words. So we can speak about the relevance of language study of advertising texts, which has a significant impact on the effectiveness, comprehensibility of TV advertisement, and its perception. The methodology. The following methods were used in the study: typological (identification and ordering of expressive means in TV advertising texts); functional (clarifying the role of the above-mentioned means); structural (identification of relationships between components of the common system); hermeneutic (in-depth interpretation of the semantic load of expressive means). Results: different expressive means and devices are used in TV advertising texts in order to provide the success of the advertised product, to create an attractive image of goods, services for potential customers, and to ensure a certain level of demand for goods. In order to attract more attention to their products manufacturers and advertisers take into account the power of words, so they use a large number of tropes: epithet structures, metaphors, hyperbole, comparisons. Such lexical expressive means significantly enrich advertising texts, contribute to their easy memorization, maximize the advertising effectiveness. Conclusions: So epithet structures, metaphors, hyperboles, comparisons are important elements of advertising texts that provide the impact of high-intensity on consumers, creating a certain emotional effect, reduce the distance between the object of advertising and its consumer, show the advantages of the advertised product over others, provide the opportunity to influence on the minds of the audience. Thus, the above means have a high manipulation potential, become the basis for the transfer of the basic idea of the advertisement itself, push the consumer to the right opinion, and therefore motivate to purchase the advertised product or service. Keywords: expressive means, manipulative influence, advertising text, TV advertisement.

Language in the modern world allows not only inform, communicate, report something. It not only helps to understand the world and serves as a means of expressing feelings, transmitting impressions, but also a means of influence on recipients. In the present conditions of human development, the influence in different spheres of society is extremely important and relevant, and especially in political sphere of existence of any country. It is extremely important that success of modern politicians and leaders of the country depends mainly not on their power but on a word that can be successfully and appropriately selected and by doing so, influence the recipients: focus on something that will attract the attention on the audience, emphasize on something with the right words selected, not only more accurately and successfully convey information but reproduce exactly the information that will have an impact on the recipients etc. The it has been investigated in the political text including one of its genres of speech. research concerns the first speeches of Presidents of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy and Petro Poroshenko at the general debates of the UN General Assemblies in 2015 and 2019 respectively. No one wants to be treated like an object, regarded as an item of property, or put up for sale. Yet many people frame personal autonomy in terms of self-ownership, representing themselves as property owners with the right to do as they wish with their bodies. Others do not use the language of property, but are similarly insistent on the rights of free individuals to decide for themselves whether to engage in commercial transactions for sex, reproduction, or organ sales. Drawing on analyses of rape, surrogacy, and markets in human organs, this book challenges notions of freedom based on ownership of our bodies and argues against the normalization of markets in bodily services and parts. The book explores the risks associated with metaphors of property and the reasons why the commodification of the body remains problematic. The book asks what is wrong with thinking of oneself as the owner of one's body? What is wrong with making our bodies available for rent or sale? What, if anything, is the difference between markets in sex, reproduction, or human body parts, and the other markets we commonly applaud? The book contends that body markets occupy the outer edges of a continuum that is, in some way, a feature of all labor markets. But it also emphasizes that we all have bodies, and considers the implications of this otherwise banal fact for equality. Bodies remind us of shared vulnerability, alerting us to the common experience of living as embodied beings in the same world. Examining the complex issue of body exceptionalism, the book demonstrates that treating the body as property makes human equality harder to comprehend.

In this article, a system to detect driver drowsiness and distraction based on image sensing technique is created. With a camera used to observe the face of driver, the image processing system embedded in the Raspberry Pi 3 Kit will generate a warning sound when the driver shows drowsiness based on the eye-closed state or a yawn. To detect the closed eye state, we use the ratio of the distance between the eyelids and the ratio of the distance between the upper lip and the lower lip when yawning. A trained data set to extract 68 facial features and “frontal face detectors” in Dlib are utilized to determine the eyes and mouth positions needed to carry out identification. Experimental data from the tests of the system on Vietnamese volunteers in our University laboratory show that the system can detect at realtime the common driver states of “Normal”, “Close eyes”, “Yawn” or “Distraction”

Governments the world over are increasingly challenging universities to produce human resources with the right skills sets and knowledge required to drive their economies in this twenty-first century. It therefore becomes important for universities to produce graduates that bring tangible and meaningful contributions to the economies. Graduate tracer studies are hailed to be one of the ways in which universities can respond and reposition themselves to the actual needs of the industry. It is against this background that this study was conducted to establish the relevance of the Department of Information and Communication Technology at Mzuzu University to the Malawian economy by systematically investigating occupations of its former students after graduating from the University. The study adopted a quantitative design by distributing an online-based questionnaire with predominantly closed-ended questions. The study focused on three key objectives: to identify key employing sectors of ICT graduates, to gauge the relevance of the ICT programme to its former students’ jobs and businesses, and to establish the level of satisfaction of the ICT curriculum from the perspectives of former ICT graduates. The key findings from the study are that the ICT programme is relevant to the industry. However, some respondents were of the view that the curriculum should be strengthened by revising it through an addition of courses such as Mobile Application Development, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Data Mining, and LINUX Administration to keep abreast with the ever-changing ICT trends and job requirements. The study strongly recommends the need for regular reviews of the curriculum so that it is continually responding to and matches the needs of the industry.

Ameloblastic fibroma is an uncommon mixed neoplasm of odontogenic origin with a relative frequency between 1.5 – 4.5%. It can occur either in the mandible or maxilla, but predominantly seen in the posterior region of the mandible. It occurs in the first two decades of life. Most of the times it is associated with tooth enclosure, causing a delay in eruption or altering the dental eruption sequence. The common clinical manifestation is a slow growing painless swelling and is detected during routine radiographic examination. There is controversy in the mode of treatment, whether conservative or aggressive. Here we reported a 38 year old male patient referred for evaluation of painless swelling on the right posterior region of the mandible associated with clinically missing 3rd molar. The lesion was completely enucleated under general anesthesia along with the extraction of impacted molar.
