National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous institution of University Grant Commission (UGC), it has been merely 26 years since the inception of NAAC, whose Accreditation to Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in India is mandatory likewise only a NAAC Accredited higher learning institutions are eligible for UGC and other various grants. Moreover, NAAC accreditation determines the quality of the institute in terms of education, infrastructure, research, teaching & learning, etc.NAAC Accreditation helps a learning institution to know its strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities through the various review process, likewise in initiating modern pedagogical methods and in receiving grants from the Government’s various bodies. Importantly, it helps students to know details of the educational institution in terms of infrastructure, quality of education, research output, etc. Therein, NAAC Accreditation is indispensable to HEIs in India, and this paper, the prime focus of research has been to unravel the revised NAAC Grading Pattern because, in the end, a ‘Grade’ determines the quality of an institution.

When evaluating Quality of Science (QoS) in the context of development initiatives, it is essential to define adequate criteria. The objective of this perspective paper is to show how altmetric and bibliometric indicators have been used to support the evaluation of QoS in the 2020 Review of the Phase 2-CGIAR Research Programs (CRPs, 2017–2022), where, for the first time, the Quality of Research for Development (QoR4D) frame of reference has been utilized across the entire CGIAR CRP portfolio. Overall, the CRP review showed a significant output of scientific publications during the period 2017–2020, with 4,872 articles, 220,101 references, and 7.1 citations per article. Additionally, wider interest in scientific publications is demonstrated by good to high altmetrics, with average attention scores ranging from 70.8 to 806.9 with an average of 425.1. The use of selected bibliometrics was shown to be an adequate tool, for use together with other qualitative indicators to evaluate the QoS in the 12 CRPs. The CRP review process clearly demonstrated that standardized, harmonized and consistent data on research output is paramount to provide high-quality quantitative instruments and should be a priority throughout the transition toward One CGIAR. Therefore, we conclude that the QoR4D framework should be augmented by standardized bibliometric indicators embedded in measurement frameworks within the new One CGIAR. Finally, its practical utilization in monitoring and evaluation should be supported with clear guidelines.

To determine the quality of teacher performance, an educational institution must conduct a process of evaluating the performance of its teachers. MTsS YASPI College Foundation Labuhan Deli is one of the educational institutions that always improves the quality of education in schools. Teacher performance appraisal at Labuhan Deli YASPI schools is still done conventionally, so there are many assessment criteria and it takes a long time to evaluate the teacher's performance. This study aims to optimize the teacher performance appraisal process to be faster and more precise. The method used is Profile Matching. The results of this study can determine the teacher's performance more precisely by 100%. So that this research can be recommended as an appropriate system in evaluating teacher performance in schools

Indicator of Indonesian’s national development is the quality of education. Islamic school’s funding is an important instrument to improve access, quality, and competitiveness of educational institution. Islamic schools education funding source are joint responsibility of the government and the community. Community-sources funding is managed by the Islamic school committee and supervised by the internal supervisor. Moreover, the financial management was carried out with the following mechanism: submitting the proposal from the Islamic school to the committee, approving the proposal, disbursement process, and then reporting the agenda to the Islamic school committee. Therefore, the committee’s internal supervisor is controlled every 6 months. In addition, the following barriers come from the parents and student.

The effectiveness of educational activities in a school is influenced by the number of variables (both related to personal, operational, and material aspects) that need to get continuous coaching and development. The process of coaching and developing the whole situation is an education supervision study. The principal as the school leader has the obligation to foster the ability of the teachers. Based on the analysis of educational and regulatory documents, the main pedagogical principles of the State Service for Education Quality of Ukraine (SSEQU) are summarized: a) basic pedagogical principles of SSEQU’s activity, which are defined by the legislator as basic principles of state educational policy (people orientedness; primacy of the law; ensuring the quality of education and equal access to education; humanism; democracy; unity of teaching, upbringing and development, etc.); b) principles that determine the legal sphere of the SSEQU’s activity (institutional separation of control functions and functions ensuring the activities of educational institutions; transparency and publicity of management decisions; responsibility and accountability of education authorities and educational institutions to society; public administration; public partnership etc); c) pedagogical principles that guide and structurally organize SSEQU’s activities (universal design and reasonable adaptation; scientific nature of education; diversity of education; integrity and continuity of education; integration with the labor market; freedom of choosing the types, forms and pace of education, educational program, educational institution; academic integrity; academic freedom, etc. Empirical data analysis based on the educational process participants’ views on the factors, which comprise educational quality, revealed that the interviewees valued most the level of qualification, experience, knowledge and skills of their teachers, educational and methodological support, the use of new technologies and innovations in teaching for achieving quality education. Interaction and cooperation between education stakeholders was identified as important by teachers and students, and less important – by parents. Interviews with students - prospective educational experts revealed that they valued the sequence of communication skills, knowledge and skills of expert activity, experience and knowledge of pedagogical activities. Abstract This study intends to explain the portrait of educational institutions fostered by Muslimat Education Foundation (YPM) NU in Kediri Regency, and try to describe the effectiveness of Muslimat NU in Kediri Regency in improving quality. This study seeks to describe in depth the problems in accordance with the data obtained in the field and on the interpretation of researchers. Muslimat NU is one of the organizations of many organizations in the community. Muslimat NU is a community organization and is an autonomous body of Nahdlatul Ulama whose task is helping to implement policies on women members. Among YPM's work programs in order to improve the quality of education in the district of Kediri are improving the quality of Al-Qur'an Kindergarten and play group, including on managerial aspects, facilities and infrastructure, administration, curriculum and Human Resources (teachers, managers and employees). The Impact

The contemporary social, economic, and cultural conditions within and outside the academy prompt important questions about the role of research in education policy and practice. Scholars have framed research-practice partnerships (RPPs) as a strategy to promote evidence-based decision-making in education. In this chapter, I interrogate the notion that RPPs offer an insightful framework to consider how the quality of research can be measured through its use. The findings suggest that using RPPs to assess the quality of education research enhances the relevance to policy and practice as well as attention to the quality of reporting, and pivots from the preeminence of methodological quality. RPPs increase local education leaders’ access to research and bolster the use of research. RPPs may also strengthen the alignment between education research and the public good. Notwithstanding, employing RPPs as a vehicle to assess research quality has its challenges. Valuing the work of RPPs in academia is a work in progress. Building and sustaining an RPP is challenging, and there is still much to learn about the ways in which RPPs work and overcome obstacles. Assessing the impact of RPPs is also difficult. Future considerations are discussed.

This paper presents the concept of check and balance approach in teachıng, learning and assessment processes with the development of a graphical interface tool to solve an advanced wastewater treatment design problem. The developed graphical interface improves the quality of teaching, learning, and the assessment of both, understanding the calculation approaches, as well as understanding the concepts. The tool acts as a calculator or a simulator of a unit converter, population equivalent, designing sewerage systems and selected unit processes of advanced wastewater treatment. A close-ended survey assessment was conducted with a total of 49 respondents who were the registered students for the subject of advanced wastewater treatment. About 79% of respondents agreed that it was hard to score a high mark in the advanced wastewater treatment exam. However, 100% of respondents agreed that the tool could help them to accelerate their understanding of the subject topic. All things considered, the findings of this study show that the developed tool is a potential tool that can aid in the teaching, learning, and assessment processes of any difficult subject that is taught in higher-learning institutions.

The concept of a Good School creates preconditions for raising the level of quality of the performance of the country’s schools implementing general curricula, for showing the activity direction for schools and for enabling them to act. In order to ensure the quality of pre-school education, self-evaluation of the performance of pre-school education institutions, which promotes reflection on the activities of the staff of pre-school educational institutions and the possibilities for changes in quality, acquires increasing importance. Following the position that self-evaluation of the quality of institutional activities is significantly affected by community agreements on the quality of education and its characteristics, the qualitative research (case study), aiming to find out which aspects of the Good School and features characterizing them are characteristic to a concrete pre-school education institution, was conducted. The study involved various interest groups (parents, children, pedagogues). It was identified that the characteristic features of a good nursery school had included the aspects of the educational environment, life in the school and staff, which enabled to assume that the properly selected educational environment and professional, qualified pedagogues influenced children’s quality participation in the life of the educational institution. Besides, the research results can be the basis for improvement of the educational practice in a particular institution, separately analysing those aspects of the good school (nursery school) and features describing them which received less attention of investigated persons and providing guidelines for further studies on the quality of education.
