This article has as a main objective to: Identify how multiple intelligences and didactic strategies intervene in learning strategies. The data obtained is organized in a concentration matrix and is given statistical treatment to explore results where a 90 Alpha Cronbach is obtained. Besides, information is processed in the statistical analysis: Percentages and frequencies, comparative with T student test and integrational with factorial analysis. As main results it stands out that: Starting from the use, handling and development of multiple intelligences such as naturalistic, bodily-kinesthetic, logical mathematical along with didactic strategies such as team building, individual work, exchange of ideas, participation, visual aids, study of chaos, and to arouse curiosity impacts in students and motivates them to do analysis, comprehensive lecture and work collaboratively, all of this combined encourages students to be more autodidactic.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between civil engineers’ demographics (e.g. age, marital status, education, work experience) and their personal values. The objective was to predict civil engineers’ personal values based on their demographics. Design/methodology/approach A questionnaire survey was administered to civil engineers to collect data on their demographics and their personal values. Statistical analysis was performed to verify whether a significant statistical relationship exists between civil engineers’ demographics and their personal values. Findings The most important and the least important personal values were identified for civil engineers. Statistical analysis indicated that civil engineers’ values do vary based on their demographics. Research limitations/implications The results of this study cannot be generalized, because individuals’ personal values and demographics are, by definition, local. Location and culture may affect the personal values of civil engineers. Practical implications Team leaders normally have access to information about the demographics of the engineers they employ; based on the results of this study, they should be able to predict their personal values, and to make more informed decisions when appointing them to particular positions on project teams. Originality/value The research presented in this paper, establishes for the first time, that a linkage exists between civil engineers’ personal values and their demographics, and makes it easier for team leaders to make assignment decisions.

The present study describes the social and educational characteristics of the Ecuadorian Amazon population. For this purpose, the data obtained from the National Survey of Employment, Unemployment and Underemployment of 2014 was used in this research. A descriptive statistical analysis presents the frequency, the percentages and the graphs of the variables related to the area in which people live, gender, age, ethnic self-identification, language spoken, marital status and level of instruction. Other variables are the use of computer and internet, place of birth, reason why they live in the Amazon region, type of activity or inactivity, how do they feel in their jobs, and groups of occupation. Also, a factorial analysis was used to show the main and most important criteria of differentiation and the the clusters of people with similar characteristics.

The purpose of this study is to investigate social characteristics of postgraduate students in Ecuador. The study was conducted with the use of a descriptive and multidimensional statistical analysis, and data from the National Survey of Employment, Unemployment and Underemployment corresponding to 2015. The descriptive analysis has shown the frequencies and percentages of the variables of the research. The multidimensional statistical analysis was used in order to show the main and most important criteria of differentiation and the classification in clusters of people being studied. The methods used are the factorial analysis of multiple correspondences that presents the criteria of differentiation and the hierarchical clustering that defines the groups of people due to their common characteristics.

Learning method can be interpreted as a way used to implement the plan that has been prepared in the form of real and practical activities to achieve learning objectives. There are several learning methods that can be used to implement learning strategies. Statistical analysis is an integral component of any clinical study. The objective of the present work was to assist clinicians in understanding various methods of statistical treatment of medical findings without going into details of mathematical computation. The most strongly sought for and popular analytical procedures are considered in application to clinical and experimental medical research. Part 1 of this communication is focused on descriptive statistics and methods of univariate statistical analysis. Part II will be concerned with the analysis of survivorship and multivariate statistics.

The Multiple Intelligences theory is composed of eight various intelligence, which concludes all aspects of human beings. Every individual has a different degree of these eight intelligences, but these eight intelligences are conducive to the overall development of persons and are in line with the current talent training goals of college English majors. So as to make better use of Multiple Intelligences theory in college English majors’ teaching, this paper did a survey of multiple intelligences to English major students in a university of Jiangxi Province. The results reveal that the level of multiple intelligences of English majors in the university is in a general state, and their weaknesses intelligence and superior intelligence are music intelligence and naturalist intelligence respectively. What’s more, the results provide three aspects of enlightenments for a better use of Multiple Intelligences for further college teaching: based on students’ current multiple intelligences; make use of students’ learning styles and learning strategies; enable students to get overall development. It is hoped that the article could offer some inspiration to current teaching of English majors in universities, and also provide some new ideas for better use of the teaching method guided by the theory of Multiple Intelligences.

The success of the students are determined by the teacher who can guide them in learning and mastering the certain competencies. The psychological aspects show the fact that students generally have defferent levels of development, which also dmand different materi, everyone has deifferent ablities and talents. This study aims to find out how the aplication of Multiple Intelligences Strategies work in the sbujects of islamic education in SMP Negeri 3 Sungailiat and its influence on student learning education. The result of the study showed that by applying the Multiple Intelligences strategy in the subjects of islamic education proved that the level of student activity had been increased. There are also an obstacles in aplication of learning strategies multiple intellegencesa : learning prepartion, implementation of learning and assessment. Therefore, lectures sued to more creative in improving intellignces of students.

The results of recent work at this station regarding the organoleptic grade of cod and haddock and the trimethylamine content of these fish were subjected to statistical treatment. It was established that there is a relation between grade and trimethylamine content which may be represented by a linear regression equation, if the trimethylamine content is expressed as log (1 + TMA value). The confidence with which this TMA index may be used to estimate grade was also determined. Based on these findings, a scale of TMA values for use in practical grading was set up; the suggested values are grade I: TMA value 0.00 to 1.00; grade II: TMA value 1.01 to 7.00 and grade III: TMA value 7.01 and higher. Finally, a method is suggested by means of which the ability of a grader to judge the quality of fish may be assessed.
