Abstract-This research is motivated by the problems that researchers find in the learning process of social studies related to the low student learning outcomes. The issues raised in this study about improving student learning outcomes through the use of mind mapping method in social studies learning. Learning outcomes are characterized by changes in behavior. While Mind Mapping is a way of recording a creative and effective, easy way to enter and release information in the brain that suits the workings of the brain. So mind mapping can be an alternative method to improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to describe how planning, implementation, results, and efforts to overcome obstacles in an effort to improve student learning outcomes through mind mapping method in social studies learning in class VII-F 7 Bandung Junior High School. The research method used is classroom action research with Kemmis & Taggart design. The source of this research data is the improvement of learning outcomes through the use of mind mapping method in social studies learning. Indicator of learning outcomes in this study is to remember, understand, apply, create, and Attitudes. In the indicators of understand and remember there is an increase in each cycle. In addition to the improvement of the post test results in each cycle. The general conclusion is the use of mind mapping method can improve students' learning outcomes in social studies learning at class VII-FKeywords: Learning Outcomes in Social Studies, Mind Mapping.

This study is a classroom action research that conducted in two cycles and each cycle consists of four activities namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by the method of discussion on the civic education subjects, especially about Government System in Republic of Indonesia. The study was conducted from July to November 2016. This study involved 10 students of sixth grade at SDN. No. 035/XI Larikkemahan, Hamparan Rawang Subdistrict, Sungai Penuh City, Jambi Province. The data was collected is data of learning outcomes collected through test and observation. The data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis and simple statistical test. The results showed that the discussion method successfully improve student learning outcomes. Before the action, students earned an average grade of 54,0. After the action, the average grade increased to 66,0 (Cycle I) and 76,0 (Cycle II). The percentage of students who were able to fulfill the minimum criteria also increased. Before the action, the percentage of students who were able to fulfill the minimum criteria is 30,0%. Once given the action, the percentage of students who are able to fulfill the minimum criteria increases to 60,0% (Cycle I) and 80,0% (Cycle II). Thus, the method of discussion can improve student learning outcomes on the subject of Citizenship Education, especially about Government System in Republic of Indonesia.

This research was conducted at SDN 03 Sukarasa on the material on the mind map material from nonfiction stories. This study uses a classroom action research method which is divided into 3 learning cycles. The research aims to improve student learning outcomes through learning using visual media. This study was applied to 8 samples with the duration of the study consisting of 6 meetings. Based on the value analysis shows that there is an increase in student learning outcomes both from cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III. This is because in cycle II learning activities by adding learning media in the form of visual media have a good effect on student learning outcomes, this is evidenced by the increase in the mean value of students. Likewise with the addition of learning media in the form of pictures and learning videos and discussions, question and answer with students in learning cycle III has had a very good influence on student learning outcomes, understanding of the subject matter being taught and the activeness of students and providing a different atmosphere in activities learning.

This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve student learning outcomes through the application of the Example non-Example Learning Model with the Mind Mapping Technique. The subjects in this study were students of class XIC in the even semester of SMAU BPPT Darus Sholah in the 2018/2019 academic year with a total of 20 students. This research was conducted in two cycles. The stages of one cycle include: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The stages in the next cycle are revised planning, action, observation, and reflection. This is so for the next cycle until the expected increase is achieved. The results of the study indicate that student learning outcomes have improved both cognitive and affective aspects. In the cognitive aspect, the increase from pre-cycle to cycle 1 was 15%. Cycle 1 to cycle 2 has increased by 25%, and in pre-cycle to cycle 2 has increased by 40%. Meanwhile, the increase in the affective aspect from cycle 1 to cycle 2 was 5.14%. Based on the results found, that the application of the Example non Example learning model with the Mind Mapping technique can improve student learning outcomes in Class XIC SMAU BPPT Darus Sholah Jember.

This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes in science learning through the application of the PjBL model. This research is a classroom action research with 21 students of grade VI SD Margadana 5 Tegal as the subject. This research was conducted in 3 cycles, each cycle of 2 meetings. Each meeting consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Based on the results of the research, in the first cycle, it was obtained an average of 68.09 classical student learning outcomes with 52% student completeness success, and in the second cycle the classical student learning outcomes were 70.47 with the completeness success increasing to 67% and still under the indicators of success. In cycle III, the classical average of student learning outcomes was 83.33 with the success of student completeness increasing to 86% in this case it was more than the 75% achievement indicator. So from cycle I, cycle II and cycle III there is an increase in student learning outcomes. So, in this study it can be concluded that using the PjBL model can improve student learning outcomes in science subjects magnetic and non-magnetic objects.

The learning outcomes of class VIB SDN Landungsari 1 student did not reach the specified Minimum Completeness Criteria (MCC). Apart from the effects of the post-covid-19 pandemic, the cause of the low student learning scores was the learning model. The learning model must be following the times. One of the learning models is the mind mapping model of cooperative learning which is an innovative learning model. The purpose of this study was to describe the application of the mind mapping model of cooperative learning to improve student learning outcomes. This research was conducted in 2 cycles using the class action research method (CAR) with steps were action planning, action implementation, evaluation, and reflection in each cycle. The learning outcomes of cycle 1 showed the mean of affective, psychomotor, and cognitive values were 79.80, 62.50, and 73.84, respectively. The learning outcomes of cycle 2 showed an increase compared to the learning outcomes in preliminary observation and cycle 1 with the average values of affective, psychomotor, and cognitive were 98, 93.75, and 86.92, respectively. The results of this study indicated that the mind mapping model of cooperative learning could improve student learning outcomes.
