Abstract.  This research is a quasi-experimental research that aims to determine the Differences in Student Learning Outcomes of Biology Education STKIP Indonesian Development based on Gender Differences through the       Thisresearch is a quasi-experimental research that aims to determine the positive effect of Think Pair Share (TPS) Cooperative Learning Models on the Motivation and Learning Outcomes of Biology Education Students STKIP Indonesia Makassar Development. The subjects of this study were students of VIE class as experimental class and VID class as control class with 25 students each. The instruments used in this study were motivation questionnaires and student biology learning outcomes tests. Data were obtained through two instruments, namely learning motivation questionnaire and learning outcome test. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis of the motivation value of the control class average value is on a scale of 4.08 with good category and the experimental class the average value is on a scale of 4.30 with a very good category. The results of descriptive analysis of the value of the learning outcomes of the control class an average value of 70.56 and the experimental class the average value of 79.04. The results of hypothesis testing are obtained by Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.001 <α = 0.05, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This shows that there is a positive influence on the application of Cooperative Learning Model Type Think Pair Share (TPS) to the learning outcomes of biological education students in STKIP Pembangunan Indonesia Makassar. The learning process is inseparable from the learning model. The application of a learning model is an attempt to improve learning outcomes and learning motivation. This research aimed to determine the effect of the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model on students’ motivation and learning outcomes. This research was a quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent control group design. The research instruments used were learning motivation questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using the MANOVA test. The results showed that there was an influence of the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model on students’ motivation and learning outcomes.

The learning outcomes of mathematics are one of the benchmarks of the high and low quality of a mathematics learning process. This study aims to find out how the effectiveness of STAD type cooperative learning model with the help of worksheets on mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students at MTs. Muhammadiyah Palleko in Takalar in 2014/2015 academic year. This research is quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental research. The instrument used in this study is the essay type learning test with a sample of 35 people, and the sampling technique used is saturated samples. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of descriptive analysis obtained the average of the two groups, namely the experimental class before treatment (pre-test) of 59.16 and after the surgery of (posttest) 75.61, the average pre-test control class was 54.56, and the post-test average is 58.25. Whereas based on the results of relative efficiency and inferential analysis it can be concluded that the STAD type of cooperative learning model with the help of LKS is effective in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of the eighth-grade students of MTs. Muhammadiyah Palleko District of Taylar.

The purpose of this study was to improve students' motivation and learning outcomes of students of class XI IPA SMAN 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur. The classroom action research was conducted in the second semester of the academic year 2013-2014 in period of January until March, as much as four times the meetings which were divided into two cycles. Each cycle was performed twice meetings and one evaluation. The subjects of the study were the  students of class XI IPA 1. To measure students' motivation and learning outcome used student’s activity data during the learning process with guidance observation data, questionnaire data and achievement test data. Then these data were analysed using descriptive analysis method. In the first cycle shows the percentage of student activities, at the first meeting and the second meeting of 45, 71% and 74, 28%. While in the second cycle, the first meeting and the second meeting of 88, 57% and 94, 28%. The Increasing of learning outcomes in the first cycle was shown learning mastery of 59, 38% with an average value of 70, 17. Whereas in second cycle was shown learning mastery of 87,50% with an  average value of 82,76. In addition, the student’s responses are positive towards learning process by implementation of cooperative learning (model STAD) in determination of acid-base solution properties and acidity of solution using natural indicators. It is based on student questionnaire answers which feel happy or satisfied (agree) was 86, 89%. Keywords: Learning outcomes, Learning activities, STAD model, Natural indicators, Learning mastery

The low activity and cognitive learning outcomes of Grade VIIIB MTs Aisyiyah students require innovation in learning by using cooperative learning models. This study aims to determine the increase in activities and learning outcomes in biology through the application of cooperative learning models of students team achievement division class VIIIB MTs Aisyiyah Sungguminasa Kab. Gowa. This type of research is Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles. The subjects of the study were students of class VIIIB MTs Aisyiyah Sungguminasa Kab. Gowa. The research instrument was an observation sheet and a test. Data analysis techniques with qualitative descriptive statistical analysis for student activities and analyzed with quantitative descriptive statistical analysis for learning outcomes. The results showed that there was an increase in students' cognitive learning activities and outcomes namely from cycle 1 and cycle 2 with an average value of 46.71% and 85.5%. Thus, the conclusion of this research is the use of cooperative learning models of students team achievement division type can increase the activities and learning outcomes of students of class VIIIB MTs Aisyiyah Sungguminasa Kab. Gowa.

Research on the effect of the problem-based learning model in the basic laws of chemistry on student’s learning outcomes in class X MAN 2 Model Palu has been done. This study aimed to determine the effect of the application of the problem-based learning model in the basic laws of chemistry on student’s learning outcomes in class X MAN 2 Model Palu. The type of research was a quasi-experimental study non-randomized design with pretest-posttest control group design. The sample was conducted with a purposive sampling technique. The study sample was students in class X MIA 6 as an experimental group (n = 22) and students in class X MIA 3 as a control group (n = 22). The data testing of students' learning outcomes used a non-parametric statistical analysis, the analysis of Mann-Whitney U-Test. The research results indicated that the mean value of the experiment class was high compared to the control class, 22.61 >18.39. The statistical analysis obtained that sig. 2-tailed (0,032) ˂ 0.05 and Zcalculation (-2.149) ˂ Ztable (-1.96). The average value of the experiment class was 82.95 while the average value of the control class was 73.64. So it can be concluded that there is the effect of applying the problem-based learning model in the basic laws of chemistry on student’s learning outcomes.

This study aimed to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model type teams scramble tournament games based scramble on motivation and learning outcomes students SMA Kristen GPID Palu. The population in this study were all students of class X. The research sample was students (n = 25) of class Xa as a control class and students (n= 24) of class Xb as an experiment class. The testing of student’s learning outcomes data was using the statistical analysis t-test of the two parties and the testing of student’s' motivation using the questionnaire data used a descriptive analysis. The average score of student’s learning outcomes of the experiment class (X1) was 52.83 with a standard deviation of 11.97 and the control class (X2) was 48.12 with a standard deviation of 11.37. Based on the statistical analysis of the hypothesis by t-test two parties, it was obtained that –ttable ≤ tcalculation ³ +ttable (tcalculation = 2.09 and ttable = 2.02) with a significance level a = 0.05 and degrees of freedom = 47, then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, therefore it can be said that there is a difference in student’s learning outcomes using cooperative learning model type teams tournament games based scramble. The results of the data analysis of student motivation indicated that the percentage value for the experimental class was 83.4% and for the control class was 81.21% and both were on the agrees attitude with the positive category, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the cooperative learning model type teams scramble tournament games based scramble on motivation and learning outcomes of students SMA Kristen GPID Palu.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of the STAD cooperative learning model combined with ice breaking in mathematics subjects on motivation and learning outcomes of student. This research is a quasi-experimental study using the non equivalent design group design. This design uses two sample groups selected with random sampling and randomized classes are already available. This research was conducted at SMK N 4 Denpasar with a population of 10th grade students consisting of 10 classes, then two classes were selected as samples.Data collection using questionnaires and essay test. Data analysis uses t-test for the first hypothesis and the second hypothesis while the third hypothesis analysis uses MANOVA. The results of the research show that the motivation and learning outcomes between the experimental group and the comparison group differed significantly, where better results were obtained in the experimental group ie the group that applied STAD cooperative learning with ice breaking. The results of this study indicate that cooperative learning innovations especially the STAD type combined with ice breaking as a game or pause in mathematics learning provide effective results in achieving student learning outcomes and motivation at a better level.

This study aims to increase the motivation and learning outcomes of Civics in class X-4 SMA Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar by applying the STAD type cooperative learning model. This research is a classroom action research conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar, the subjects of this research are students of class X-4 with a total of 30 students. The results showed that student learning outcomes at the basic score of the average value of 48.61 increased by 16.95 points to 65.56 in the first cycle. In the second cycle the average score was 71.67 increase from the first cycle of 6.11 points. Classical completeness on a base score of 33% (13 students). In the first cycle test, the completeness increased to 72.5% (19 students). In the second cycle, classical completeness increased to 87.5% (25 students). From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the cooperative learning model of the student teams achievement division (STAD) type can increase the motivation and learning outcomes of Civics in class X-4 SMA Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar

This study aims to analyze the increase in motivation and student learning outcomes in learning Indonesian using schoology media assisted by the WhatsApp application. This research method used quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of class VIII A as the experimental class implementing Distance Learning with schoology media assisted by the WhatsApp application and class VIII B as the control class without using schoology media. Data collection techniques with knowledge competency tests, questionnaires, and interviews. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used in this research was quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the competence of news text knowledge in the experimental class using schoology media is better than without using schoology media. The average learning outcomes obtained were 81, the average N-gain obtained was 0.72 in good category. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in student motivation and learning outcomes in learning Indonesian.

ABSTRACT Aims of study to determine the effect of cooperative learning model of NHT type to learning outcomes of students in  subject matter  optical geometry in high school N 2 Lintongnihuta A.Y. 2014/2015.Kind of this research is quasi experimental. The population in this research were all students of class X Semester II SMA N 2 Lintongnihuta which consists of two classes. Sampling was done by purposive research by using two existing classes, namely class X Mia 2 were 26students as experimental class and the class X Mia 1 amounted to 30 students as the control class. The instrument used is a cognitive test in the form of multiple choice question number 20 and observation sheet of student’s activity. Experimental class was given treatment by cooperative learning model of  NHT type and grade control with conventional learning. Before being given different treatment performed pretest, which is the average value of the experimental class pretest 48.65 with a standard deviation  11.45 and the average value of the control class pretest 48.67 with a standard deviation 14.07. Second class pretest data testing showed that both classes of data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The test results obtained pretest tcount<ttable (0.0057 <2,14) then H0 is received, it means the ability of students' initial experimental class and control class alike. Then given treatment that is experimental class with cooperative learning model of NHT type and grade control with conventional learning models. During thelearning processinthe experimental classlearning activities of studentsincreased, the meetingI59.79%, 72.07%meetingIIandIIImeeting of75.30%.After the study was completed, given postest with an average 66.53 for experimental class with a standard deviation 11.64 and 48.66 with the control class standard deviation 14.07. On testing normality and homogeneity of data obtained postest that both classes of data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The data processing postest obtained that tcount= 5.1 and ttable = 2.14, so that t count > t table (5.1> 2.14) then Hareceived means there is influence of cooperative learning model of NHT type to students learning outcomes  in optic geometry material to X class SMA N 2 Lintongnihuta A.Y. 2014/2015.
