This research aims to know the description of the misconception to grade XI MIA MAN 1 Jeneponto content ecosystem by using the method of Certainty of Responses Index (CRI). This research is descriptive Research. The subject is a student of Class XI and XI MIA3 MIA2 semester odd years lessons 2017/2018 with total students 56 people. Sampling techniques using a purposive sampling technique. Instrument in this study using a diagnostic test multiple choice shaped reasoned that come with the value of the CRI. The results showed that the percentage of level/category/categories on students understanding i.e. understand concepts of 24.11%, understand the concept but less sure of 1.70%, misconception of 37.23% and don't understand the concept in hardness of 36.96%. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of using an interactive e-module to reduce students’ misconceptions on salt hydrolysis material at grade XI in senior high school. This study implemented a pre-experiment with one group pretest-posttest research design, which utilized one class as the experimental class. Samples were selected by using purposive sampling technique, and it was obtained one class as the experimental class, namely class XI in State Madrasah Aliyah 1 Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia. Before giving the treatment, the sample was administered a pretest and after the treatment, they were given a posttest. The pretest and posttest questions occupied three-tier multiple choice questions. The reduction of misconceptions on Salt Hydrolysis material after using the interactive e-module was 16.21%. The study found that interactive e-modules effective to reduce misconceptions on salt hydrolysis material was significant.

This research was aimed at investigating the information about the use of the Student Worksheet (LKPD) the results of reconstruction about the involvement and mastery of students' concepts in the material of human excretion system. Reconstruction of student worksheets was done because the previous research shows analysis results the component of diagram vee in the eksperiment  students worksheet is low. Whereas, the diagram Vee's rubric is usually used for developing eksperiment  students worksheet. This research is a descriptive research. The subject of the research are 28 students of grade XI IPA in senior high school Bandung. The instrument that used is the rubric of component of diagram Vee's existence, observation worksheet in students engagement and test of mastering concept that consist is multiple choice. The result of the research shows : (1) students engagement in the class is about 79,17%; (2) students' mastery of concepts based on categories is good, 96.43% of students achieve maximum completeness criteria (KKM), and an average N-gain of 0.72. This showed the influence of use reconstruction  of student worksheets on the student engagement and mastery of student concepts.

The purpose of this research is (1) analyze student’s concept in answering the association test, (2) analyze the concept of understanding  relationship  to  answer  the test depends on the student’s school origin. The method used in this research is qualitative with case study approach. In clustering sampling technique the subject was used in this research is 6 students, shared  in  3  groups.  They  are  2  students come from public vocational school, 2 students come from public senior high school and 2 students come from private senior high school and vocational school. Data was collected through test and interview.   Data   analysis   used   in   this research refers to Milles and Huberman in Moellong’s book; they are data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The result showed that the student’s understanding is various enough in answering the  set  test.  Depending on  the first subject analysis (S1) who came from private school, he did not understand about the concept of set. The second subject analysis (S2) and the third subject analysis (S3)  who  came  from  public  school,  they had understood. But, they need to be careful and patient to avoid the mistakes. The data which  had  gained from deeply interview, showed that the subject analysis (S1), (S2) and (S3) were able to indicate the relationship of school origin with the student’s concept of understanding within answering the set test.

This study aims to reveal: (1) the characteristics of diagnostic test items used in mathematics subject of the first grade of senior high school (SHS); (2) the degree of errors from several types of students’ errors in answering mathematics test; and (3) the dominant factor causing the students to make mistakes in answering mathematics test. This study used a quantitative approach involving the first graders of eight SHSs in Mataram as the population. The sample was collected by a proportionate random sampling technique, consisting of 350 students for preliminary field testing and 450 students for main field testing. The research instrument was a mathematics diagnostic test, questionnaire, and interview guidelines. The results show that: (1) the diagnostic test instrument meets the qualitative and quantitative content validity, proves empirically fit with Partial Credit Model (PCM), has reliability index of 0.92 (high category), and all items in the diagnostic test instrument are categorized in moderate difficulty; (2) misrepresentation becomes dominant errors if compared with misconceptions, the counting errors, and procedural errors. The errors dominant in the topic domain are Inequalities Linear System Two Variables if compared with Rational and Irrational Inequality One Variable, Equations and Inequalities of Absolute Value, and Linear Equations System Three Variables; and (3) most of the students do not understand how to solve the problem of inequality, determining factor quadratic equations, determining the members of the set completion, problems concerning graphs, and problems that require the capability of language interpretation into the mathematics model.
