A modification of the motor technique - the tapping test - is offered in its computer version for evaluation of volitional efforts and endurance. The study includes two series. The first series is designated as "background" and involves the performance of motor tasks. The second series is called "load" and includes, in addition to performing the main motor work, also a task with the score. The performance of the score is a factor that worsens the implementation of motor work. There is no time limit for presenting individual series. The end of the experiment is considered to be the test subject's refusal to perform the tasks in each series. The following quantitative indicators are registered: 1) the number of keystrokes on the monitor for equal periods of time (10 seconds); 2) the total time of series execution. According to the first indicator, the intensity of volitional efforts is estimated, and the second - the endurance of the subject. Two volitional types of person are distinguished: strong and enduring. The fields of application of the technique are discussed.

The subject of this research is indicators that characterize the quality of municipal services rendered in accordance with the state (municipal) task in the sphere of youth policy. Special attention given to the analysis of state tasks approved on the federal and regional levels for budgetary (autonomous) institutions. The author examines the indicators that characterize the quality of municipal services in the sphere of youth policy as the foundation for assessing the achievement of publicly significant results in the context of the vector for improving the efficiency of spending budgetary funds. The article explores the problem of the absence of correlation between the quality of services rendered and the size of subsidy allocated for the implementation of state (municipal) task. The main conclusion consists in the statement that at the present day it is difficult to assess the achievement of publicly significant result in rendering state (municipal) services in the sphere of youth policy as a criterion for the appropriate use of subsidies for the fulfillment of the state (municipal) tasks within the framework of the activity of budgetary (autonomous) institutions. This is substantiated by the formal determination of indicators set by such institutions, which characterize the quality of the rendered municipal services and the absence of comprehensive legislative regulation in this sphere. The efficiency parameters of the conducted state youth policy are for the most part reflected through the quantitative indicators.

Changes and deformities to the feet are frequent among athletes. The aim of this review paper is to determine the prevalence of foot deformities among athletes with various backgrounds, as well as to determine the influence of the deformities on motor task performance. The compiled studies were published between 2002 and 2018. The following electronic databases were used for the search: PubMed, MEDLINE, Google Scholar, EBSCO. The identified studies had to satisfy the following criteria: that they included athletes and that the subject of analysis were the differences in foot deformities in relation to performing motor tasks. Research papers on this topic were reviewed and analyzed. They are clearly organized in tabular form, with a clear outline of the details of the research. The results of 16 research papers are summed up. The most prevalent deformity among athletes is flat feet (pes planus). The studies indicate the various deformities which are prevalent in particular sports, and determine the changes in the feet of the athletes, in particular for the foot which plays a decisive role in certain sports. Individuals with flat feet scored lower results compared to individuals with normal arches in terms of time and reaction speed when performing motor tasks.

For more than 70 years, S. Rusova's creative legacy was kept in special repositories, as she was declared a bourgeois nationalist in the Soviet era. Today, the multifaceted pedagogical and educational activities of teachers of European level are available for study and are the subject of scientific research. In our article, using the method of content analysis, quantitative indicators of publication activity of a famous journalist and public figure are determined, because the number of publications is a very important indicator for the recognition of authors, their contribution to science, any field of creative activity. Analyzed how certain historical realities can affect the work of the author, and the productive activities of this author can affect the general state of public opinion in the late nineteenth – early twentieth century. The biobibliographic index «Sofia Rusova – teacher, statesman, teacher», published in 2010 on the occasion of the 155th anniversary of the birth of the famous Ukrainian woman, was chosen as the basis for quantitative calculations. Index created by specialists of DNPB of Ukraine named after V.O. Sukhomlinsky, and is the first biobibliographic publication about S. Rusova in Ukraine. The index contains a list of works and research on the life and multifaceted activities of an outstanding teacher. In order to fully cover the creative work of the scientist, it included bibliographic descriptions of S. Rusova's works and scientific publications devoted to her life, pedagogical and socio-cultural activities, published since the 80s of the XIX century. until 2010, as separate books and articles in scientific collections and periodicals in Ukraine and abroad. Based on the results of calculations, graphs were developed, which indicate the number of publications for each year. The chronological framework of the schedules was established within the framework of the most established periodization of S. Rusova's creative heritage, where four periods in the life of a well-known public figure and publicist are distinguished. Thus, during the first period (end of XIX-1905) 34 publications were published; for the second period (1906–1916) – 136 publications; for the third (1917–1921) – 42 materials; for the fourth period (1922–1940) – 144 publications.

The subject of the article is the justification of the thesis that the differentiation of the legal situation of parents on the basis of the Act on the Large Family Card, who have established a family with at least three children violates the constitutional principle of equality before the law. On the one hand some parents are entitled to use the card without any time limit, and on the other hand there is a group of parents who also have large families, but are totally deprived of the right. According to the author of the article, the diversity does not represent any constitutionally protected value and the discrimination occurs due to the unlimited duration of the right to own the Card by eligible parents. The result of the above, as well as the fourth (another) child’s right to the Card depending on holding the Card by the parent, is discriminatory for the children born as the fourth (next) child in the family. The article is also an attempt to answer the question which way would be the best to remove the above-mentioned discrimination thus making it most coherent with the objective and content of the analyzed regulation.

The purpose of this study was to compare the prefrontal cortex (PFC) blood flow variation and time on in males and females while performing a motor task and imagery perspectives. Eighteen right handed subjects (11 males and 7 females) were volunteers to this study. All subjects went through three randomly conditions, a motor task condition (MT) in which they had to do a simple finger tap. The other conditions included practicing imagery in first and third views. During all the conditions, the fNIRS device was attached to the subject forehead to obtain the blood flow; the total time in each task which was measured with a chronometer. No difference had been found in any condition for both sexes in the PFC and time, nor for all subjects integrated in the PFC. Therefore, we conclu-de that both imageries can be used to mentally train a motor task, and probably both sexes can be benefited.

By an application filed on 29 March 1994, Cameroon instituted proceedings against Nigeria, relying on the declarations under Article 36(2) of the Statute of the Court, made by both states without reservations. The dispute, according to the Application, related “essentially to the question of sovereignty over the Bakassi Peninsula”, where, “since the end of 1993”, the Nigerian troops were “occupying several Cameroonian localities”. Cameroon also requested the Court “to determine the course of the maritime boundary between the two states beyond the line fixed in 1975”. In an ‘Additional Application’, filed on 6 June 1994, Cameroon extended the subject of the dispute “essentially to the question of sovereignty over a part of the territory of Cameroon in the area of Lake Chad”, which had become the object of “the official […] claim […] by […] Nigeria quite recently, for the first time”; and also requested the Court “to specify definitely” the whole frontier line from Lake Chad to the sea, and to examine the two Applications as a single case. In its counter-memorial, filed within the prescribed time-limit (18 December 1995), Nigeria raised objections to the jurisdiction of the Court and the admissibility of the Cameroonian claims, whereupon the proceedings on the merits were suspended and the President of the Court fixed 15 May 1996 as the time-limit within which Cameroon might present its observations on the Nigerian objections.

Geography as a school subject is facing a crisis of identity. Student interest in geography has decreased and the lack of solutions for improving geography’s image opened a research gap. The aim of the paper is to summarize the knowledge and understanding from the pupils’ perspective and prepare the ground for conducting similar research in Czechia. Getting the pupils’ perspective is crucial for shaping the subject in a more favorable direction and in defending geography’s place in the education system. Subsequently it creates concrete arguments for defending and stabilizing. The author searched for studies using the WoS and Scopus databases. Three criteria were set: studies only in English, the maximum time limit as February 2020, and the age of researched students as 11–19 years. Twenty-seven relevant studies, mainly conducted in English speaking countries, were found. The review focuses especially on applied methods and results of studies. Results showed that quantitative methods prevailed over qualitative. Factors such as the personality of the teacher, teaching methods, and geography topics seemed the most important in the process of developing a positive image of geography.
