The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on various sectors, one of which is education. The world of education also feels the impact. Educators must ensure teaching andlearning activities continue, even though students are at home. It is hoped that the status ofa pandemic will pass quickly with increasing public awareness to join and break the chainof spreading this virus. This dedication article will address two issues; First, trying to lookat the problems of parents and school-age children during the pandemic in terms of education; Second, trying to build public awareness to prevent Covid-19. The results of this service are: First, providing solutions to parents and school-age children for problems that arise in the midst of a pandemic in the aspect of education; Second, increase public understanding of Covid-19 and how to prevent it. Keywords: Impact Covid-19, Educational Transformation, Online Learning. Abstrak Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak besar pada berbagai sektor, salah satunya pendidikan. Dunia pendidikan juga ikut merasakan dampaknya. Pendidik harus memastikan kegiatan belajar mengajar tetap berjalan, meskipun peserta didik berada di rumah. Status pandemi diharapkan cepat berlalu dengan peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat untuk ikut andil memutus mata rantai penyebaran virus ini. Artikel pengabdian ini akan membahas dua masalah; Pertama, mencoba untuk mengetahui problematika orang tua dan anak usia sekolah di saat pandemi dalam aspek pendidikan; Kedua, mencoba membangun kesadaran masyarakat untuk pencegahan virus Covid-19. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah: Pertama, memberikan solusi pada orang tua dan anak usia sekolah atas problematika yang muncul di tengah pandemi dalam aspek pendidikan; Kedua, meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang Covid-19 dan cara pencegahannya. Pandemic covid-19 has surprised people all over the world. It happen suddenly and give many impacts to all aspects of human’s life including education in Indonesia. Since, the minister of education and culture stated that all he activity of teaching and learning should be done at home by online learning, then it gives some positive and negative impact. The negative impacts are; not all teachers, studemts, or parents have a facility to access internet, nor use IT well, for example theachers who are old or students of pre school still need their parents’ help. Then, not all parent can earn money to buy internet quota.  Moreover, the positives impacts are; the students become familiar to use IT and it is safe for them to avoid covid-19 outbreak by studying at home.

<p><em>Due to the COVID-19 outbreak that spread throughout the world, many activities were carried out at home, especially learning conducted online. The purpose of this study was to describe the impact of parents' attitudes on children in online learning. This study used a qualitative method by conducting interviews with four seventh grades parents, three of seventh grades teachers as representatives of the school, and three of seventh grades students. The results obtained are that parents need guidance in teaching children, extraordinary patience. On the other sides, teachers as facilitators can provide collaborate with parents to educate students. In contrast, students can convey their opinions to teachers about how to learn with parents, and teachers can help parents and students in online learning. Hence, learning for the COVID-19 outbreak can run smoothly so that student education will not be left behind due to the COVID-19 outbreak</em></p>

In 2020, the world was hit by the Covid-19 epidemic and the countries made different decisions on when and how to adopt adequate measures. One of them was teleworking; many people stayed at home where they worked and at the same time took care of their family members and assisted their school-age children. After one month of working from home, the respondents assessed that their family members had a better understanding of the concept of working from home. Besides, the respondents were more organised for this type of work and took care of their school-age children. The fear of losing their job has also reduced, but they were more concerned about salary cuts. The selection of findings and measures could become a guide for employees in order to help them balance private life and work and thus manage stress when working from home.

Since early March, the Covid-19 outbreak has hit Indonesia. This epidemic became a pandemic almost all over the world. This pandemic has a major impact on all sectors of life. One sector that has felt the impact is the education sector. After the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia, the government issued a policy in the world of education, namely temporarily eliminating face-to-face learning and replaced with online learning from home. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parenting styles and children's motivation during online learning at home. The research method used is library research. The data is obtained by searching and analyzing various research journals, digital books, digital documents, and several sources of information that are relevant to the research. During online learning at home, parenting patterns must be considered because parents replace the role of the teacher. Parenting style has a big effect on student motivation. Parenting that is in accordance with the child's personality can increase children's learning motivation.

This research aims to know the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on parents and teachers in improving the quality of online learning for elementary school age children, to find out the obstacles and supporters faced by teachers and parents in improving the quality of online learning for elementary school age children. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The object of this study were teachers, students' parents, and students in the shade of MI AL-HIKMAH Talun Blitar. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with a list of interview questions to be developed with related literature. The results of this study show the results that teachers always provide motivation, provide customised tasks with abilities and never squeeze in every task. Provide full guidance if needed by parents. This is also done by parents of students actively accompanying and guiding them in working on assignments. Trying to be comfortable but still disciplined to the maximum in accordance with the teacher's instructions. However, in addition to the less supportive facilities and infrastructure, they complained about the additional cost of buying an internet quota, the signals that were less supportive, children at home quickly got bored and misused when using an Android cellphone.

BACKGROUND Covid-19 is an emerging infectious disease like viral zoonosis caused by new coronavirus SARS CoV 2. On December 31, 2019, Wuhan Municipal Health Commission in Hubei province (China) reported cases of pneumonia, the origin of which is a new coronavirus. Rapidly extendable around the world, the World Health Organization (WHO) declares it pandemic on March 11, 2020. This pandemic reaches Algeria on February 25, 2020, date on which the Algerian minister of health, announced the first case of Covid-19, a foreign citizen. From March 1, a cluster is formed in Blida and becomes the epicentre of the coronavirus epidemic in Algeria, its total quarantine is established on March 24, 2020, it will be smoothly alleviated on April 24. A therapeutic protocol based on hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin was put in place on March 23, for complicated cases, it was extended to all the cases confirmed on April 06. OBJECTIVE This study aimed to demonstrate the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquin/azithromycin protocol in Algeria, in particular after its extension to all patients diagnosed COVID-19 positive on RT-PCR test. We were able to illustrate this fact graphically, but not to prove it statistically because the design of our study, indeed in the 7 days which followed generalization of therapeutic protocol, case fatality rate decrease and doubling time increase, thus confirming the impact of wide and early prescription of hydroxychloroquin/azithromycin protocol. METHODS We have analyzed the data collected from press releases and follow-ups published daily by the Ministry of Health, we have studied the possible correlations of these data with certain events or decisions having a possible impact on their development, such as confinement at home and its reduction, the prescription of hydroxychloroquine/azithromycin combination for serious patients and its extension to all positive COVID subjects. Results are presented in graphics, the data collection was closed on 31/05/2020. RESULTS Covid-19 pandemic spreads from February 25, 2020, when a foreign citizen is tested positive, on March 1 a cluster is formed in the city of Blida where sixteen members of the same family are infected during a wedding party. Wilaya of Blida becomes the epicentre of coronavirus epidemic in Algeria and lockdown measures taken, while the number of national cases diagnosed begins to increases In any event, the association of early containment measures combined with a generalized initial treatment for all positive cases, whatever their degree of severity, will have contributed to a reduction in the fatality rate of COVID 19 and a slowing down of its doubling time. CONCLUSIONS In Algeria, the rapid combination of rigorous containment measure at home and early generalized treatment with hydroxychloroquin have demonstrated their effectiveness in terms of morbidity and mortality, the classic measures of social distancing and hygiene will make it possible to perpetuate these results by reducing viral transmission, the only unknown, the reopening procedure which can only be started after being surrounded by precautions aimed at ensuring the understanding of the population. ObjectiveInvestigate the impact of the COVID-19 lockdown on feelings of loneliness and social isolation in parents of school-age children.DesignCross-sectional online survey of parents of primary and secondary school-age children.SettingCommunity setting.Participants1214 parents of school-age children in the UK.MethodsAn online survey explored the impact of lockdown on the mental health of parents with school-age children, and in particular about feelings of social isolation and loneliness. Associations between the UCLA Three-Item Loneliness Scale (UCLATILS), the Direct Measure of Loneliness (DMOL) and the characteristics of the study participants were assessed using ordinal logistic regression models.Main outcome measuresSelf-reported measures of social isolation and loneliness using UCLATILS and DMOL.ResultsHalf of respondents felt they lacked companionship, 45% had feelings of being left out, 58% felt isolated and 46% felt lonely during the first 100 days of lockdown. The factors that were associated with higher levels of loneliness on UCLATILS were female gender, parenting a child with special needs, lack of a dedicated space for distance learning, disruption of sleep patterns and low levels of physical activity during the lockdown. Factors associated with a higher DMOL were female gender, single parenting, parenting a child with special needs, unemployment, low physical activity, lack of a dedicated study space and disruption of sleep patterns during the lockdown.ConclusionsThe COVID-19 lockdown has increased feelings of social isolation and loneliness among parents of school-age children. The sustained adoption of two modifiable health-seeking lifestyle behaviours (increased levels of physical activity and the maintenance of good sleep hygiene practices) wmay help reduce feelings of social isolation and loneliness during lockdown.

Pumping elephantThe COVID-19 pandemic has adversely affected the lives of people around the world in millions of ways . Due to this severe epidemic, all countries in the world have been affected by all aspects, mainly economic. It is widely discussed that the COVID-19 outbreak has affected the world economy. When considering this dimension, this study aims to examine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the world economy, socio-economics, and sustainability. In addition, the research focuses on multiple aspects of social well-being during the pandemic, such as employment, poverty, the status of women, food security, and global trade. To this end, the study used time series and cross-sectional analysis of the data. The second-hand data used in this study comes from the websites of major international organizations. From the analysis of secondary data, the conclusion of this article is that the impact of the pandemic is huge. The main finding of the thesis is that the social economy is affected by the pandemic, causing huge losses in terms of economic well-being and social capital.

Abstract Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) in the Arab World are still in their infancy. Many Arab countries are now starting to launch their MOOC platforms; however, there are only a few who have actually implemented such systems. This paper will explore online learning, in particular the rise of MOOCs around the world and their impact on the Arab World. The purpose of this paper is to give a true picture of the development of the first MOOC platforms in the Arab World. It will analyse in detail the concept, definitions, background, and types of MOOCs (xMOOCs and cMOOCs), as well as the main MOOCs platform in the Western and Arab worlds, and a timeline of the development of MOOCs. It will then observe the status of MOOCs in the developed world, opportunities in the Middle East, and the influence of Western MOOCs on the Arab world, from many perspectives, e.g. educational, religious, cultural and social.

Iodine deficiency is one of the most important health problems in the world. It intervenes in the synthesis of thyroid hormones, which carry out important functions, so that a deficit of this mineral causes alterations of different kinds such as those related to growth. The objective of the present study was to know the prevalence of iodine deficit in the diet of Valencian children from 6 to 8 years old and their relationship with anthropometry. The analysis of the dietary intake was carried out through questionnaires. Thirteen schools participated in the study. The sample studied consists of 661 school children belonging to the Valencian Community, between 6 and 8 years of age: 298 boys and 363 girls. 79.12% of the children did not meet recommended daily iodine intakes. When comparing the groups of girls and boys with an inadequate intake, in general, girls show worse nutritional adequacy. When comparing the groups of girls and boys with sufficient iodine intake, no statistically significant differences were observed. No immediate effects of iodine deficiency on children’s anthropometry were observed. Intake of dairy products, fish and iodized salt is recommended, since they can contribute to the diet the iodine required to avoid a deficiency.
