Effective learning using information technology is one of the opportunities that can be utilized by teachers to improve the effectiveness of learning. This study aims to describe the implementation of IT-based learning media creation training to improve teacher pedagogical skills as measured from the practical aspects and effectiveness of the Model used, namely the Critical Event Model (CEM). The subjects of this study were the teachers of SD Santo Yosef Surabaya. This research is an implementation research with quantitative approach. The data collection method used in this research is in the form of questionnaires to assess aspects of practicality and media assessment to assess aspects of effectiveness. The results showed that the training that had been evaluated through media assessment by the trainer and questionnaire scores by participants, both had a high percentage. Based on the results of the research shows that the implementation of training on creating IT-based learning media has been effective and practical

Budget Planning is a list of funding needs prepared by the office/ work units which is then submitted to KPPN for requested the funds for doing an activity with a certain period in the State Budget. Costs budget planning of the activities is implementated to create the proportionate realization. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether implementation of the budget planning done by the office/ work units BBPPKI Medan can create a proportionate budget realization. This research was conducted at the office/ work units Center of Research and Development for Communication and Information Technology (BBPPKI) Medan. Data collection method used in this research is the observation and study of literature. Implementation of Budget Cost Activity Planning in the office/ work units BBPPKI Medan generate disproportionate realization. This is due to lack of maximum absorption of the Budget Plan (RAB), which has been prepared by the office/ work units BBPPKI Medan earlier.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether information technology affects firm performance. This type of research is causal-comparative. The population in this study are all companies listed in Indonesian securities. Where the sample is selected by using matched sample comparison group method, obtained 22 companies winning IT award and 22 control firm. Data collection method is documentation method. The analytical method used is non-parametric variation Mann-Whitney Test. The results of this study found that information technology does not affect the firm performance.Keywords: Kinerja Perusahaan; Investasi Teknologi; Informasi; TI; efisiensi.

Purpose of the research is to identify the risk of IT in the company, to assess all the risk, and take security actions to solve the problem. Research methods used are data collection method and analysis method. Data collection is conducted with literature review and field studies by interview and observation. Analysis is conducted using Operationally Critical Threat, Asset, and Vulnerability (OCTAVE)-S method. The research is research qualitative descriptive aims to understand entrepreneurship furniture behavior businesses in Suco at Mumbulsari Jember. The subject in question are entrepreneurs furniture in the village Suco number four people. Data collection method used covering the observation, interviews and documents .The method of analysis the data used was descriptive the method qualitative described data-data obtained from the results of the field implementation. Research conducted through observation and interview, the results about behavior the entrepreneurial Suco village in Mumbulsari District Jember. Furniture businessmen in running their business always faced with the risk of trade that must be faced that the point is not her ways goods over been sold so that suffered losses or fortunately diminished. Entrepreneurs furniture always very sure with capability owned. To be able to survive and develop their business, furniture entrepreneurs do creativity and innovation to products that been sold. Furniture businessmen also noticed if the it has its consumers want to buy or ordering products, so that is not left by customers and it has its consumers

This research was aimed to find out the evaluation from the students of undergraduate, graduate, and doctor program toward library resources in the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Gadjah Mada. The result of this research was expected to give benefit to develop the library resources for giving the excellent services to the user. This research used quantitative method, questionnaire as the data collection method, and descriptive statistic method for analizing data. The subject of this research was 159 students from undergraduate, graduate, and doctor program as the user of the library. The results showed standard value for each program: undergraduate (2,545963), graduate comprised with Master of Science (2,644517) and Master of Profession (2,541234), and doctor (2,982143). If the value higher than (>) standard value included high categories and less than (<) or equal with (:) standard value included low categories. The comprehensive result of this research showed that (1) high categories evaluation came from the aspects of collection relevancy, circulation, facilities (security, temperature, light, and lay out), and human resources; (2) low categories evaluation came from the aspects of collection (composition of subject and language), services (time, number of collection, duration of borrowing books, and interlibrary borrowing books), facilities (space, table, and chair), information technology (computer/internet, internet accessibility, and multimedia); and (3) variation of high-low evaluation came from the aspects of collection (recently and completeness) services (searching, multimedia, and fine), and information technology (library based on information technology and browsing).

This research aims to formulate marketing strategy to increase visitors of Gembira Loka Garden and Zoo (KRKB Gembira Loka) in Yogyakarta. This research is qualitative research and uses interview, observation, and documentation as data collection method. The data is analyzed by using SWOT analysis with internal and external variable identification. The internal variable shows that location is the main strength of Gembira Loka KRKB with 0.17 by value and 5 by rating. From external variable, the result of EFAS table shows that Gembira Loka KRKB has good enough chance while the thread has less result than the chance. Gembira Loka KRKB is in quadrant 1, which is the position in which a company is considered to be in a beneficial situation due to its chance and strength. In such case, the company can utilize the chance by maximizing the strength. The following strategy to go through in this condition is supporting aggressive planning.

The research aims to uncover the symbols in the novel The Alchemist and to gain knowledge about the moral teachings in the symbol. This research is descriptive qualitative approach. Data sources in this study are words, phrases or sentences in the novel Alchemist. Data collection method is a literature study method with note taking technique. Data were analyzed using description and content analysis methods. The results showed that the novel The Alchemist contained many symbols. These symbols include: (1) wise parents, who symbolize both negative and positive things. From his appearance, parents can symbolize something bad, but behind his old age he symbolizes a knowledge that is very much and wise; (2) stones that symbolize something hard, not easily broken, and can provide clues to something; and (3) deserts or deserts which can be interpreted as symbols of drought, aridity, unattractiveness, emptiness, despair, determination for ignorance, and also as symbols of devotion.

Traditional research methods are inadequate to predict and explain consumer behavior accurately in some cases. Marketing discipline tries to benefit from new technological developments in order to make up the deficiency subjects’ competence and willingness to express how they feel when they face with stimulus in traditional data collection method has an effect on the success of the method. In traditional methods, subjects often cannot remember or know the correct answer, or even if they know the answer they will give answers that satisfy the researcher. The inadequacy in traditional techniques has driven the researchers to evaluate theconsumer response more accurately. It is observed that in recent years neuromarketing techniques began to be used extensively to measure consumer responses accurate in marketing field. Although neuromarketing is commonly used in marketing field, there are some questions about the efficiency of the method. This study emphasizes the efficiency on the general evaluation of neuromarketing techniques and criticism of it. The aim of this study is to indicate the historical development of application of neuro science on marketing and consumer behavior, and to establish the future of neuro science, its opportunities and threats.

Results of the food consumption surveys are utilized in many areas, such as for example risk assessment, cognition of consumer trends, health education and planning of prevention projects. Standardization of national consumption data for international comparison is an important task. The intention work began in the 1970s. Because of the widespread utilization of food consumption data, many international projects have been done with the aim of their harmonization. The present study shows data collection methods for groups of the food consumption data, their utilization, furthermore, the stations of the international harmonization works in details. The authors underline that for the application of the food consumption data on the international level, it is crucial to harmonize the surveys’ parameters (e.g. time of data collection, method, number of participants, number of the analysed days and the age groups). For this purpose the efforts of the EU menu project, started in 2012, are promising. Orv. Hetil., 2012, 153, 1692–1700.
