The purpose of this study is to determine whether information technology affects firm performance. This type of research is causal-comparative. The population in this study are all companies listed in Indonesian securities. Where the sample is selected by using matched sample comparison group method, obtained 22 companies winning IT award and 22 control firm. Data collection method is documentation method. The analytical method used is non-parametric variation Mann-Whitney Test. The results of this study found that information technology does not affect the firm performance.Keywords: Kinerja Perusahaan; Investasi Teknologi; Informasi; TI; efisiensi.

Budget Planning is a list of funding needs prepared by the office/ work units which is then submitted to KPPN for requested the funds for doing an activity with a certain period in the State Budget. Costs budget planning of the activities is implementated to create the proportionate realization. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether implementation of the budget planning done by the office/ work units BBPPKI Medan can create a proportionate budget realization. This research was conducted at the office/ work units Center of Research and Development for Communication and Information Technology (BBPPKI) Medan. Data collection method used in this research is the observation and study of literature. Implementation of Budget Cost Activity Planning in the office/ work units BBPPKI Medan generate disproportionate realization. This is due to lack of maximum absorption of the Budget Plan (RAB), which has been prepared by the office/ work units BBPPKI Medan earlier.

The research objective was to determine the internal control system for merchandise inventory at the Minang Motor Sport Store, Bengkulu City. The data collection method in this study is to use the interview method. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis with a comparative type. The results showed that there was no match between Mulyadi's (2016: 488) theory and the conditions that occurred at the Bengkulu City Minang Motor Sport Shop for organizational elements, because according to Mulyadi's theory, physical inventory counting had to be carried out by a special committee formed apart from warehouse employees. . Meanwhile, what happened at the Minang Motor Sport Store, Bengkulu City, the physical count was carried out directly by the warehouse department. For the elements of the authorization system and the recording procedure of the conformity and discrepancy between Mulyadi's theory (2016: 488) and the Minang Motor Sport Store in Bengkulu City, the discrepancy is in the list of physical inventory count results signed by the chairman of the physical inventory counting committee and the recording of the physical inventory count results is recorded. the correctness of the physical counting card that has been verified. There is compatibility between Mulyadi's (2016: 488) theory with the Minang Motor Sport Store in Bengkulu City for elements of healthy practice, because at the Minang Motor Sport Store, Bengkulu City, the physical counting of merchandise inventory cards has been numbered sequentially, inventory checking has been carried out twice by the department. inventory counters and subsequently by inventory checkers.

The purpose of this study is to find out how the application of operational risk that occurs in the teller and customer service units at PT. BPR Jorong Kampung Tangah Cabang Padang. This data collection method was collected through interviews with related parties. The analytical method in this study uses a descriptive method with an inductive mindset that explains the results of research regarding the facts that occur in the field, which are then analyzed according to existing theories. Based on the results of the study it was found that PT. BPR-JKT Cabang Padang has monitored and anticipated operational risks that will occur in every teller and customer service work unit in order to avoid things that damage the bank's good name, because tellers and customer service are front liners who will deal directly with customers. The monitoring and anticipation carried out by the bank has proven that there are fewer unwanted incidents at the teller unit, such as errors in inputting nominal money and account numbers during transactions, underpayments or overpayments to customers. As for the customer service unit, such as incorrect customer data input, the occurrence of complaints and others.

Currently, rapid development in the Islamic finance sector is aimed to fulfill people’s needs. Because of that, Islamic banks need to produce new products and services with combined contracts which do not confine to a single contract. So, this research is made to identify the reasons of prohibition of the combination of purchase contract (bay') and loan contract (salaf) mentioned in a ḥadtīh. One of these reasons is the combination of two contracts in a single transaction that has been abundantly discussed by the scholars in the past and present. A present example of the combined contracts produced by the newly created financial transactions is “Letter of Guarantee,” where the researchers have found that this contract has been formed by combining two contracts in a single transaction, i.e., bay' and salaf. It is, therefore, necessary to understand the mentioned ḥadīth profoundly before its application in the Islamic banks so that it does not contradict the holy Sharī'ah. The researchers use the data collection method for collecting materials related to the subject of the study. They also use the analytical method to analyze the aḥādīth related to the topic, and then investigate the legitimacy of the application of bay' and salaf in the “Letter of Guarantee,” and its juristic adaptation (takyīf fiqhī). An important finding of this research is that the application of bay' and salaf in the “Letter of Guarantee” is permitted, as long as the higher objectives of Sharīah are considered in it, and there is no involvement with the prohibited things.

This study aims to determine how much Influence of Differentiation, Promotion and Positioning Against Buying Decision Brands Asus Laptop, data collection method is to circulate a questionnaire with a sample of 100. The analytical method used is multiple regression regression analysis. The results obtained are: (a) Differentiation has an influence on purchasing decisions by 0.149. Then the differentiation has a positive and significant influence, with Ho rejected and Ha accepted. (b) Promotion of 0.405 has an influence on purchasing decisions. Then promotion has a positive and significant influence, with Ho rejected and Ha accepted. (c) Positioning has the effect of 0,032 on purchasedecisions. Then positioning has a positive and significant influence, with Ho rejected and Ha accepted. (d) differentiation, promotion and amounted to 19.520 psitioning have influence on purchasing decisions.Then the value of of 0,718 which means differentiation, promotion and positioning has a positive and significant relationship, so Ho rejected and Ha accepted. Finally, the author suggests Laptop Asus is expected to increase differentiation by observing characteristic, value, image and price in order to give satisfaction to the customers so that they can be enjoyed by the wider community, can improve product promotion Asus laptop that is known by many people and can improve the positioning on the product Asus laptops are comprised of high tech and high touch positioning positioning.

Effective learning using information technology is one of the opportunities that can be utilized by teachers to improve the effectiveness of learning. This study aims to describe the implementation of IT-based learning media creation training to improve teacher pedagogical skills as measured from the practical aspects and effectiveness of the Model used, namely the Critical Event Model (CEM). The subjects of this study were the teachers of SD Santo Yosef Surabaya. This research is an implementation research with quantitative approach. The data collection method used in this research is in the form of questionnaires to assess aspects of practicality and media assessment to assess aspects of effectiveness. The results showed that the training that had been evaluated through media assessment by the trainer and questionnaire scores by participants, both had a high percentage. Based on the results of the research shows that the implementation of training on creating IT-based learning media has been effective and practical

This research was aimed to find out the evaluation from the students of undergraduate, graduate, and doctor program toward library resources in the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Gadjah Mada. The result of this research was expected to give benefit to develop the library resources for giving the excellent services to the user. This research used quantitative method, questionnaire as the data collection method, and descriptive statistic method for analizing data. The subject of this research was 159 students from undergraduate, graduate, and doctor program as the user of the library. The results showed standard value for each program: undergraduate (2,545963), graduate comprised with Master of Science (2,644517) and Master of Profession (2,541234), and doctor (2,982143). If the value higher than (>) standard value included high categories and less than (<) or equal with (:) standard value included low categories. The comprehensive result of this research showed that (1) high categories evaluation came from the aspects of collection relevancy, circulation, facilities (security, temperature, light, and lay out), and human resources; (2) low categories evaluation came from the aspects of collection (composition of subject and language), services (time, number of collection, duration of borrowing books, and interlibrary borrowing books), facilities (space, table, and chair), information technology (computer/internet, internet accessibility, and multimedia); and (3) variation of high-low evaluation came from the aspects of collection (recently and completeness) services (searching, multimedia, and fine), and information technology (library based on information technology and browsing).

This research aims to formulate marketing strategy to increase visitors of Gembira Loka Garden and Zoo (KRKB Gembira Loka) in Yogyakarta. This research is qualitative research and uses interview, observation, and documentation as data collection method. The data is analyzed by using SWOT analysis with internal and external variable identification. The internal variable shows that location is the main strength of Gembira Loka KRKB with 0.17 by value and 5 by rating. From external variable, the result of EFAS table shows that Gembira Loka KRKB has good enough chance while the thread has less result than the chance. Gembira Loka KRKB is in quadrant 1, which is the position in which a company is considered to be in a beneficial situation due to its chance and strength. In such case, the company can utilize the chance by maximizing the strength. The following strategy to go through in this condition is supporting aggressive planning.
