<p>Several factors are used to measure employee performance, namely employee internal factors and external factors that are following an employee's personal needs. One internal factor used to measure employee performance is one of the individual productivity factors and one of the external factors of employees who implement Total Quality Management (TQM) in the company where they work. This study aims to test the success and TQM on employee performance. The object of this research is in the Muhammadiyah Television company in Jakarta and Yogyakarta. Through examining the perception of 30 employees. The method of analysis uses multiple regression.</p><p>The results of this study explain that the Productive Behavior Variable has a significant effect on Employee Performance with a significance value of 0.041 less than the Alpha value of 0.05; thus, the first hypothesis accepted. TQM variable is significant on company performance with a significance value of 0,000 smaller than the Alpha value of 0.05. Therefore the second hypothesis is accepted. Hypothesis test results three explain together Productive behavior variables, and TQM significantly influences Employee Performance with a significance value of 0,000 smaller than the Alpha value of 0.05. Thus the null hypothesis is accepted.</p><p> </p><p><em>Keywords : Productive behavior, TQM, Performance.</em></p>

This study aims to determine the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) on employee productive behavior and company performance at PT. Tomorrow’s Antiques Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative method with a sample of 104 employees. Data was collected by observation, interviews, documentation, literature, and questionnaires. The analysis technique used descriptive analysis, path analysis (analysis path), and sobell test. The results of the total quality management (TQM) research have a positive and significant effect on employee productive behaviour at PT. Tomorrow's Antiques with coefficient of 0.986 and a sig value of 0.00 <0.05; employee productive behavior has a positive and significant effect on company performance at PT. Tomorrow's Antiques with coefficient of 0.606 and a sig value of 0.00 <0.05; total quality management (TQM) has a positive and significant effect on company performance at PT. Tomorrow's Antiques with coefficient of 0.396 and a sig value of 0.00 <0.05, and employee productive behaviour can mediate the effect of total quality management (TQM) on company performance at PT. Tomorrow's Antiques with Z value (17,311) > Z table (1,96).

Abstract Understanding the schemes of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s) managerial capability is becoming important aspects today. Implementing proper strategies and internal policy may create a significant change in SME’s performance. Total Quality Management (TQM) has been being a one of specific measurement on organizational performance. This research was proposed to understand the factor that can affect the TQM’s performance in SME’s by identifying the two factors that can change it. Based on the recent studies, the developed model was employed PLSSEM to analyze the data by total respondent 95 respondent consist of owner and manager. The sample was taken in the area of Sasirangan SME’s in Banjarmasin, Kalimantan Selatan province, Indonesia. Sasirangan is a local fabric developed by its ancestor. The population of Sasirangan SME’s was huge in amount. The results of these studies indicate that both motivation and employee performance can increase the TQM in the SME’s which one of them has a more significant effect. The complete description of finding in this research will be discussed in this research.

Abstract In strategy competition, innovation must be clear and precise in accordance with consumer demand and expectations. Limited organizational resources require organizations to manage innovation clearly. The company's efforts to change or increase product output, both from its processes and services, are interpreted as innovation. This study aims to examine the effect of total quality management on company performance with two approaches, additional innovation and radical innovation. The hypothesis was tested from data collected from 108 food and beverage SMEs registered at the Indonesian Food and Beverage Entrepreneurs Association - GAPMMI using convenience sampling data processed with AMOS. The results of the study show that additional innovation as a TQM mediator has an influence on company performance. In addition, testing shows that radical innovation has no effect on company performance. Therefore, additional innovation is the best way that SMEs can choose as a TQM approach to influence company performance. This research can contribute to small and medium enterprises in the selection of innovations in the practice of TQM. Terbatasnya sumber daya organisasi menuntut organisasi mengelola inovasi dengan jelas. Upaya perusahaan untuk mengubah atau meningkatkan output produk, baik dari proses dan layanannya, ditafsirkan sebagai inovasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh manajemen kualitas total terhadap kinerja perusahaan dengan dua pendekatan, inovasi tambahan dan inovasi radikal. Hipotesis diuji dari data yang dikumpulkan dari 108 UKM makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Gabungan Pengusaha Makanan dan Minuman Indonesia – GAPMMI dengan menggunakan convenience sampling data diolah dengan AMOS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi tambahan sebagai mediator TQM, memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Selain itu, pengujian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi radikal tidak berpengaruh pada kinerja perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, inovasi tambahan adalah cara terbaik yang dapat dipilih oleh UKM sebagai pendekatan TQM untuk mempengaruhi kinerja perusahaan. Penelitian ini dapat berkontribusi untuk usaha kecil dan menengah dalam pemilihan inovasi dalam praktik TQM. TQM concept is known as a significant driver of performance of large-scale companies. This study points out two perspectives namely direct and indirect influence associated with TQM. Specifically, it delves into the innovation and spiritual capital in improving the performance of Intako. Path analysis was carried out to shed lights on the correlation among the aforementioned aspects. There were 98 samples involved in the study. The research results confirm the influence of innovation and spiritual capital on TQM. Likewise, the same results are evident on the influence of innovation, spiritual capital, and TQM on company performance. A company is built of course with a clear goal, namely to get as much profit as possible, but this is not necessarily achieved easily, there are many things that companies need to pay attention to in order to achieve these goals. One of the aspects that can affect company revenue is customer satisfaction with the products produced, where the quality of the products produced needs to be considered because this is directly proportional to customer satisfaction. To achieve customer satisfaction, many things can be done by the company, one of which is the application of Total Quality Management (TQM) as done by PT. X, where the application of TQM aims to increase competitiveness which is done by continuous improvement so that it This can affect employee performance which is also directly proportional to product quality and company earnings. This study was conducted to prove whether the implementation of TQM by PT X affects employee performance or not. The approach used in this study uses linear regression analysis, where the data used is primary data obtained from questionnaires distributed to several respondents. The results showed that variable X had an effect on variable Y with a correlation coefficient of 0.598 and the decision was made that the application of TQM had an effect on employee performance.

The aim of the study is find out the impact of applying different total quality management (TQM) practices on the performance of employees in the Lebanese industrial sector. The implementation of total quality management in Lebanese companies is very narrow where few companies work to apply Total Quality Management elements and concepts in its operations. Sanita is a Lebanese company that has applied the principles of total quality management relatively in all of its operations, so it has a large share of its products in the Lebanese market. In this quantitative survey designed study, 160 self-administered questionnaires were distributed for employees working at different career level (Top level management / Middle level management / Supervisor / Operator /technician / other workers) in Sanita main branch (Halat -Lebanon) and Sanita factory (Zouk Mosbeh -Lebanon). The survey concluded various questions related to the dependent variable employee performance and the independent variable related to practices of total quality management (leadership, teamwork, training and education, empowerment, communication). Using the quantitative correlation Pearson test, a strong influence emerged for the implementation of TQM principles on the performance of employees at Sanita and its factories; thus accepting the main alternative hypothesis.

Objective - Employee satisfaction and employee performance are critical to a service-oriented organization and its performance. Employees play a crucial role in the successful delivery of service and maintaining customer relationships in service oriented organizations. Satisfied employees in general perform better in service delivery as compared to unsatisfied employees. Employee satisfaction, in turn, results from total quality management initiatives such as top management support, employee training, employee participation, employee rewards, and team work that enable employees to provide better customer service. While the relationship of TQM practices and employee satisfaction has been tested in other service sectors, it has not been explored in the education sector. The objective of this paper is to investigate how TQM practices have an impact on employee satisfaction and employee performance within the context of technical institutions in India. Methodology/Technique - The data is collected from 250 teaching faculties of technical institutions in the southern states of India. Findings - The results of the study confirm that TQM practices are significantly positive predictors of employee satisfaction, which in turn contributes to better employee performance within the educational sector in India. Novelty - This study contributes to the development of literature by empirically testing the link between TQM practices and employee satisfaction and employee performance within the context of the education sector. Abstract. At present the company is competing to survise in the business world, because today many companies want to maximize competitiveness through continuous improvement made by several companies that play a very important role in increasing the strength of competitiveness. Dakal global market product quality is also one of the most important elements for companies to be ableto compete. TQM is one form of company management practices that can suppress the quality paradigm witgin a company. Organizational Commitment is a force that binds individuals to take an action towards one or several goals. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of Total Quality Management in improving company performance and analysis of organizational commitment to company performance in LPKL PDAM Tirtawening. This research uses descriptive methods and case studies as well as using a quantitative approach carried out at LPKL PDAM Tirtawening, the sourch of the data used is the primary data sourch with data collection techniques namely questionnaire. Determination of respondents in filing out the research questionnaire was chosen based on the number of Managers or Section Heads of employees in LPKL PDAM Tirtawening as many as 25 respondents. Total Quality Management can improve company performance in LPKL PDAM Tirtawening. Abstrak. Saat ini perusahaan sedang bersaing untuk bertahan dalam dunia bisnis, karena saat ini banyak perusahaan yang ingin memaksimalkan daya saing melalui perbaikan terus – menerus yang dilakukan oleh beberapa perusahaanyang memainkan peran yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kekuatan daya saing. Dakal pasar global kualitas produk juga menjadi salah satu elemen terpenting bagi perusahaan untuk dapat bersaing.TQM adalah salah satu bentuk praktek manajemen perusahaan yang bisa menekan paradigma kualitas dalam perusahaan. Komitmen Organisasi merupakan kekuatan yang mengikat individu untuk melakukan suatu aksi untuk menuju satu atau beberapa tujuan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan Total Quality Management dalam meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan dan analisis komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerj perusahaan pada LPKL PDAM Tirtawening. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan studi kasus serta menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang dilksanakan di LPKL PDAM Tirtawening, sumber data yang digunakan yaitu sumber data primer dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu kusioner. Penentuan responden dalam mengisi kuesioner penelitian ini dipilih berdasarakan jumlah Manajer atau Kepala Bagian dar karyawan yang ada di LPKL PDAM Tirtawening sebanyak 25 orang responden. Total Quality Management dapat meningkat kinerja perusahaan dan komitmen organisasi dapat meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan di LPKL PDAM Tirtawening

This study aims to determine the role of Organizational Culture based on Tri Hita Karana in the effort to realize Organizational Performance by taking into account other factors such as Human Resource Management, Total Quality Management, and Employee Performance. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique used in this study is a structural equation model (SEM) based on variance or Component based SEM, known as Partial Least Square (PLS) Visual version 3.2.7. The number of samples used was 48 people with t-table values for significance levels α = 0.05 and degree of freedom (df) = 46 is 2.58. The results show that there are two relationships that show significant results, namely the role of Organizational Culture based on Tri Hita Karana on Employee Performance has a value of 17.353 with t-statistics > t-table (17.353 > 2.58). And the same results are also shown in the relationship between Total Quality Management and Organizational Performance with a value of 8.232 > 2.58. Different results are shown in 4 other relationships, namely the influence of the organization's culture on organizational performance, the influence of HRM on organizational performance, the influence of HRM on employee performance, and the influence of total quality management on employee performance with t-statistics < t- table (0.220 < 2.58), (0.544 < 2.58), (0.866 < 2.58), and (0.553 < 2.58). From the results of this study it can be seen that there are still several factors that have not been able to provide a significant value on organizational performance in the PDAM Buleleng.

Purpose The aim of this paper is to present an empirical assessment and strategic planning for measuring the impact of total quality management (TQM) practices on small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and its effectiveness for business excellence. The authors investigate the present status of quality system in SMEs and find the thrust areas for TQM implementation in SMEs of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats analysis. Also, it examines the effect of external environment on internal factors of SMEs by situation analysis. This study helps to develop a model for assessing the components of TQM in SMEs after identifying their weightage. Design/methodology/approach The qualitative and quantitative techniques have been used together for robust conclusions. The survey data has been collected through the properly designed questionnaire. After studying the present status of TQM in SMEs, situation analysis has been carried out for examining the effect of the external environment on internal factors of SMEs. The weightage of TQM critical success factors was calculated by pair-wise comparison method of analytical hierarchical process (AHP) analysis for framework development. Findings The study offers useful insights and guidelines for identification of the contribution of TQM critical factors in SMEs performance. It has been observed that the attribute understanding of customer need and its fulfillment ability has the highest priority, whereas supplier partnership and the ability to reduce waste having the least priority in SMEs. Validation study facilitates to channelize TQM initiatives, to improve environmental and operational performance. Originality/value The authors provide a comprehensive typology of TQM practices, and its performances on SMEs. This paper can increase the awareness of the significance of TQM strategy which could help managers of SMEs to have a better understanding of the benefits of implementing TQM and therefore unable patient satisfaction with their organizations.
