Employee retention is not something that can be dealt with records and reports. It depends purely upon how the employers understand the various concerns of the employees and how they help them resolve their problem, when they are in need. Therefore the main aim of this study is to study the employee retention at a private sector small bank in Chennai. To achieve the said objectives of the study data was collected from around 100 employees from the total population of 450 employees using convenience sampling technique. The research design used in this study is descriptive research design. Primary data was collected using a structured questionnaire and secondary data was obtained from company website, journals and books. The Independent variable used for the study are Age, gender, marital status, educational qualification, experience and monthly income and the dependent Variables are Compensation & Rewards, Work Environment, Organization Culture & Relationship, Job Satisfaction & Security, Training & development and Social relevance of working life. Percentage analysis were used to break the raw data. From the study it is found that majority of the respondents are above the age group of 20 years, majority are male and are UG. It is further found that employee retention helps in the development of the organization and management comes forward to solve the employees problem. Employees feel valued and appreciated, be given feedback, provided with growth opportunities, be given work-life balance options, have trust and confidence in their leaders.

This project has been conducted on “Effectiveness of training” in CELEBRITY FASHION LIMITED. The Primary Objective of this project is that to measure the effectiveness of training. The Secondary Objectives are to study the Effectiveness of training. A Research Methodology was followed for the effective functioning of the research. The Research design used in the study is descriptive. The sampling technique used by the researcher is non-probability sampling. Questionnaire method was followed to collect primary data and the secondary data was collected from the organization and books available. The resulted analysis helped us to understand the satisfaction level of employees in the training and development activities carried out by CELEBRITY FASHION LIMITED.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a significant influence between the variable quality of service, company reputation, and customer claims perception and customer satisfaction. In addition, it is also to find out whether there is a significant simultaneous effect and which variable is the most dominant in influencing customer satisfaction at KC AJB Bumiputera 1912 Surakarta. The method used is a method based on quantitative descriptive, where the sampling technique uses Random Sampling, which is a random sampling technique, regardless of the level contained in the population. The data used are primary data and secondary data with data collection techniques: questionnaires, observations, interviews, and literature study. Data analysis techniques in this study used multiple linear, determination test (R2), F test, and t test. The results of the study can be concluded that: 1) There is an effect of service quality, company reputation, and simultaneous perception of customer claims on customer satisfaction at KC AJB Bumiputera 1912 Surakarta, 2) There is an influence of service quality on customer satisfaction at KC AJB Bumiputera 1912 Surakarta Batik in the City of Solo, 3) There is an influence of company reputation on customer satisfaction in KC AJB Bumiputera 1912 Surakarta, 4) There is an influence of customer perception perceptions of customer satisfaction on KC AJB Bumiputera 1912 Surakarta. The purpose of this study is to explain how the municipal government of Pekanbaru provides guidelines that should be carried out by the community in carrying out activities in Pekanbaru. This research uses qualitative research methods. The selection of research informants used perposive sampling technique. Primary data collection from interviews, while secondary data from documentation and literature study. Data analysis using an interactive model. The results showed that the application of new life behavior guidelines based on the Mayor of Pekanbaru regulation number 104 of 2020 concerning guidelines for new productive and safe lives in the prevention and control of Coronavirus Desease 2019 (Covid-19) in Pekanbaru has paid attention to the lives of its people, it can be seen from its existence. Guidelines for carrying out activities and activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, there is still an increase in positive cases of Covid-19 due to people who do not comply with applicable policies. For this reason, the municipal government of Pekanbaru needs to reaffirm people who commit violations so that they can comply with health protocols, especially in crowded places.

Human in their environment always give response to all things they recently accept. That response is also occurred in the community whose environment is developed to be a tourism attraction. The response is appear because of their need to utilize and improve their quality of life. The response of the community will affect the development of the tourism attractions. The involvement of the private sector will cause response from the local community. The response appears from the community will show the community’s acceptance of the development of tourism area. Thus the response of the fishermen community of Ponelo Kepulauan to the development of Saronde Island is interesting to be examined. The responses of the fishermen community seen in this research are social response and economic response that appears since Saronde Island is developed by the private sector. Qualitative method is used with case study approach to reveal the form and factor of social and economic response of the fishermen community towards the development of Saronde Island. This research is done in Ponelo Islands, North Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. The sources of the data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The determination of informants are selected by using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done through observation, in-depth interviews and document studies. Data analysis is done with data reduction, presentation, and with draw the conclusion. To test the validity of the data obtained, this research used triangulation. Based on the findings in the field, researchers found that the social response of fishermen community of Ponelo Kepulauan to the development of Saronde Island tourism area includes a positive response and negative response. Positive response is the establishment of cooperation and adaptation of the fishermen community. Negative response is the indifferent society and the rejection of the fishermen community. The economic response of the fishermen community is the improvement of earnings after the development of Saronde Island. The response is influenced by several factors such as the income, perceptions, social and individual motives, and needs interests. All factor is working to encourage the emergence of social and economic response of fishermen communities of Ponelo Kepulauan to the development of Saronde Island.   Key Words: Social Response, Economic Response, Fishermen Community

Purpose: Inflation is a concern in both developed and developing countries as it leads to a fall in profit margins and makes it difficult in drawing households’ budgets. The Medium Term Plan report (2008-2012) indicates that Mbita Division of Homa-Bay County has had the effects of inflation in recent times as many fish industries are closing down, an indicator of a fall in private domestic capital and also an increase in the unemployment rate. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of inflation on the household expenditures in Mbita Division, Kenya. Methodology: The study adopted exploratory and correlation research designs. Exploratory research design gave an insight into the households’ expenditure behavior while correlation research design facilitated the establishment of relationships among the research variables. A sample size of 374 heads of households was selected from a total of 13,789 households in the Division. The individual respondents were drawn by the use of a simple random sampling technique. Primary data was gathered with the help of questionnaires, key informant interviews, focused group discussions, and observation, and Secondary data were collected from Government statistical abstracts, household records, and relevant textbooks. Regression as a tool of analysis was utilized to reveal the existing relationship among the variables and coefficient of determination to show the strength of the established model. The reliability of the data collection instrument was tested using the internal consistency technique in which the scores obtained from the subjects were correlated and the Cronbach’s Coefficient Alpha was be computed to determine the correlation among the items.Findings: It was discovered that 135(38%) spent more than Ksh 4000 per month six months ago compared to 159(44.8%) of the total respondents who spent more than the same amount currently in Mbita division. Recommendation: It was recommended that the households in Mbita division should spend only on the basic stuff and be advised on the micro-savings programs to assist in times of high inflation rates.

The study has made an attempt on resource use and economic efficiency of cucumber production under poly-house farming and open field farming. Primary data collected by using purposive sampling technique from selected districts. Sample of 50 farmers (25 Poly-house farmers and 25 Open field farmers) was taken from each district on the basis of availability. Secondary data was collected from Horticulture Department. For data analysis statistical tools average, percentage and Linear Cobb-Douglas Production Function was used. The study found that the yield of cucumber was more under poly-house farming as compare to open field farming system. The reason behind this was long harvesting period and more number of fruits per plant under poly-house farming conditions. The data specifies higher net returns per acre of cucumber under poly-house farming over open field farming, which implicit poly-house farming not only highly profitable but also economically viable as compared to open field farming in study area.

The research is proposed to test the influence of Leadership and Motivation Work on Public Service Quality. The population in this study was the Kantor Kementerian Agama Sungai Penuh who had received the last 1 year service at the Kantor Kementerian Agama Sungai Penuh, amounting to 260 people. Furthermore, by using the Slovin formula, a sample size of 158 people was chosen with a sampling technique based on Simple Random Sampling. This study uses primary data and secondary data. Data analysis techniques used are path analysis and hypothesis testing using t test with data analysis using SPSS version 20. The results of the study based on showing that partially the Leadership and motivation work have a positive and significant effect on Public Service Quality. The results also show that motivation work variables act as intervening variables between Leadership and Public Service Quality.

<em>This research was conducted based on the existence of problems in the competence and physical work environment of employee performance. This study aims to determine the effect of competencies and physical work environment simultaneously or partially on the performance of employees of PT. Suzuki Indomobil Motor. The sampling technique is the sample random sampling technique. The type of research used is descriptive and verivative research methods, with data collection techniques using primary data and secondary data. The results showed that competency, physical work environment, and performance were categorized quite well. Based on the calculation, it can be seen that simultaneously the competence and physical work environment have a positive and significant influence on the performance of the employees of PT. Perumusan masalah, tujuan penelitian ini dan hipotesis pada penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan secara individual antara variabel independen yaitu pengembangan SDM, iklimkerja dan berbagi pengetahuan terhadap variabel dependen yaitu kreativitas SDM di PT. GAS (Gemalindo Air Support) Batam. Pada penelitian ini objek yang diambil adalah karyawan GAS (Gemalindo Air Support) Batam. Sumber data meliputi data primer dan data sekunder. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 100 responden yang merupakan karyawan PT. GAS (Gemalindo Air Support) Batam melalui teknik nonprobability sampling yaitu dengan tidak menggunakan metode sampling. Background: Basic immunization is the first immunization that should be given to everyone, especially infants and children from birth to protect lifes from dangerous diseases. The immunization program in Indonesia requires every infant (0-11 months) to receive complete basic immunization consist of 1 dose of Hepatitis B, 1 dose of BCG, 3 doses of DPT-HB-Hib, 4 doses of polio, and 1 dose of measles. Basic Immunization in RW 8 Wonokusumo Urban Village in 2017 has not reached the target. Only 73 infants (67%) of 108 have received complete basic immunization which the target of Puskesmas is 95%. This study aims to know the correlation of knowledge, attitude and mother perception with the basic immunization status in Wonokusumo. This study is an observational analytic research with quantitative approach. The study was cross sectional with a sample of 39 respondents. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Respondents in this study are mothers who have children under three and have KMS in RW 8 Wonokusumo Urban Village. Primary data collection techniques obtained from questionnaires while secondary data obtained from Wonokusumo Puskesmas and Surabaya City Health Office reports .The result of bivariate statistic test shows that there is correlation between knowledge, attitude, and mother perception with the immunization status of children under three with p = 0,001 (p < 0,05). Conclusion: There is correlation between knowledge, attitude, and mother perception with the basic immunization status in RW 8, Wonokusumo Village.
