Human in their environment always give response to all things they recently accept. That response is also occurred in the community whose environment is developed to be a tourism attraction. The response is appear because of their need to utilize and improve their quality of life. The response of the community will affect the development of the tourism attractions. The involvement of the private sector will cause response from the local community. The response appears from the community will show the community’s acceptance of the development of tourism area. Thus the response of the fishermen community of Ponelo Kepulauan to the development of Saronde Island is interesting to be examined. The responses of the fishermen community seen in this research are social response and economic response that appears since Saronde Island is developed by the private sector. Qualitative method is used with case study approach to reveal the form and factor of social and economic response of the fishermen community towards the development of Saronde Island. This research is done in Ponelo Islands, North Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. The sources of the data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The determination of informants are selected by using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done through observation, in-depth interviews and document studies. Data analysis is done with data reduction, presentation, and with draw the conclusion. To test the validity of the data obtained, this research used triangulation. Based on the findings in the field, researchers found that the social response of fishermen community of Ponelo Kepulauan to the development of Saronde Island tourism area includes a positive response and negative response. Positive response is the establishment of cooperation and adaptation of the fishermen community. Negative response is the indifferent society and the rejection of the fishermen community. The economic response of the fishermen community is the improvement of earnings after the development of Saronde Island. The response is influenced by several factors such as the income, perceptions, social and individual motives, and needs interests. All factor is working to encourage the emergence of social and economic response of fishermen communities of Ponelo Kepulauan to the development of Saronde Island.   Key Words: Social Response, Economic Response, Fishermen Community

This research was conducted to find out the motivation of female tourist to visit Gay club, the perception of the tourist and local community towards the Gay Club. The methods used in this research id descriptive qualitative. The technique of determination of informants used is purposive sampling technique. Data sources used are primary and secondary data sources. Primary data in this research is sourced from direct observation to the research location by means of observation and interviews. While secondary data in this research are the data obtained from the documentation or studies library to complement the primary data. The result of the research shows that most tourist say curious to see Gay club as a motivation for a visit; most tourist plead happy after seeing the atrractions there; most neutral against Gay tourist; most local community already know about Gay club; most local community are not disturbed; most local people are not benefitting from the presence of the Gay club. Tourism is designed to be a number one source of foreign exchange in Indonesia. But the development of toursm and tourist destination will definitely have an economic impact whether it’s positive impact or negative impact. As well as development in tourist destinationHidden Canyon Beji Guwang. This research aims to find out what is the participation of local community in the development of Hidden Canyon Beji Guwangand to find out what is the economic impactof it. The data used in this research is qualitative and quantitative data. Primary data source data and secondary data source. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Which is obtained through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Informant determination is done bypurposive sampling technique.                   The results of this research is tourist destinationHidden Canyon Beji Guwangmanagement derived entirely from the participation of local communities in Desa Guwang. This research was conducted based on the condition of the development of tourism on the island of Nusa Lembongan, aiming to find out the impact brought about by socio-economic conditions against the tourism society.This study uses qualitative and quantitative approach with mix method, the primary data source that are obtained by observations and direct interviews and secondary data. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling techniques and data analysis using the method of case study. This study shows tourism provides impact on society and the government on the island of Nusa Lembongan are seen from eight aspect among others : impact increasing of foreign exchange, impact toward local community income that increasing before tourism exist, impact toward higher prices than the real prices, impact toward employment for opportunity to local community, ownership and control of tourism accommodation, the distribution of benefits and advantage against indigenous village, development in general are seen from 4A tourism and government income of tax viewed from PHR. Advice can be given to government and businessman and tourism service on the island of Nusa Lembongan in the order of future improve the facilities, infrastructure supporting tourism, reinforce the rules on the division of the proceeds against the indigenous villages, improving access and employment for local community on the island of Nusa Lembongan.   Key Words              : Tourism, Nusa Lembongan Island, Impact

Companies, either state-owned and private which operates in the field and/or related to natural resources must implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), such as by PT Indonesia Power (PT. IP) UBP-Tambaklorok which is located nearby Tanjung Mas Harbor, Tambaklorok Village, North Semarang District. Semarang City. The CSR implementation should benefit for both sides, the company for its image and the local community for the implemented programs. Therefore it is important to analyse perception of the local community as well as their opinions about the company's CSR activities in their village, in this case is the people of Kemijen village which is located adjacent to the PT. IP’s area. This research is descriptive qualitative, done in 2019, describing the phenomenon of CSR implementation by PT. IP, and the perception of the local community of Kemijen village towards the CSR activities implemented by PT. IP. The informants were taken using purposive sampling technique, covering both formal and informal leaders, the local people, as well as community development officer of PT. IP. Primary data was gathered using in-depth interview technique and observation. Secondary data consist of documents. Primary and secondary data was then coded and analysed interactively. PT. IP has formulated and implemented the Company’s strategies into CSR Roadmap 2015-2019, which is the grand strategy and a milestone of CSR implementation to integrate CSR strategy into the Company’s strategy, in the sectors of education, health, economy, and infrastructure. According to the perception of the Kemijen villagers, there have been both benefit and insufficiency of the PT. IP’s CSR implementation. They expect more programs to be implemented, in order to allowing them more opportunities for poverty alleviation.

Abstract The pandemic has an impact on many sectors, causing changes in the pattern of activities carried out in general. The pandemic has also affected non-profit organizations (NGOs), Dejavato is no exception. More than 15 years of existence, the organization located in Semarang has 59 university partners, 34 SMP / MTs partners, 60 SMA / SMK partners, 13 TK / PAUD partners, 21 SD / MI partners, and 20 other foundation partners spread across almost all of the region in Indonesia. This shows that Dejavato has credibility and a strong influence on the local community. The existence of a pandemic makes the Dejavato Foundation to adapt to use online media to survive, because of the cessation of offline activities that result in the achievement of vision threatened to fail. This article aims is to determine the efforts to utilize digital media during the pandemic by the Dejavato Foundation. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach where after the data was collected, pattern matching was carried out to validate the data found. The theory that is used in this research is the theory of e-PR and Stakeholder Theory. The primary data was collected through interviews with the founder and public relations coordinator of the Dejavato Foundation, and observation. Meanwhile, to collect the secondary data, the researcher was using the documentation technique. The result of this study shows that Dejavato, in terms of optimizing digital media is by using several methods; convergence of programs, use of e-PR tools, especially social media, dejavatalk, and help empower people online. That shows how much the negative cause in this pandemic, especially for voluntary world.Keywords: Covid-19; Digital Media; Non-Profit Organization; Pandemic; Stakeholder Theory; Volunteering.Abstrak Pandemi Covid-19 memberi dampak pada berbagai sektor tak terkecuali pada NGO (organisasi nirlaba) Dejavato yang memiliki kegiatan utama pengiriman volunteer di berbagai negara. Dejavato merupakan NGO yang telah berdiri lebih dari 15 tahun di Kota Semarang dengan jumlah mitra hingga 207 yang berasal dari mitra TK, SD, hingga perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Dejavato memiliki kredibilitas serta pengaruh yang kuat bagi masyarakat lokal. Adanya pandemi membuat Dejavato Foundation untuk beradaptasi menggunakan media daring untuk bertahan, sebab terhentinya aktivitas luring yang mengakibatkan pencapaian visi terancam gagal. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan inovasi yang dilakukan oleh Dejavato Foundation terkait penggunaan media baru dalam menghadapi masa pandemi. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori e-PR serta Stakeholder Theory. Artikel ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif  dengan metode studi kasus. Proses pengolahan data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, penjodohan pola dan analisis data sesuai dengan teori. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pendiri dan koordinator humas Dejavato Foundation. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Dejavato melakukan berbagai upaya dalam menghadapi pandemi, yaitu: konvergensi program, pemanfaatan media sosial, mengadakan event dejavatalk, serta membantu memberdayakan masyarakat secara daring. Hal tersebut berarti bahwa pandemi berdampak luas, dan masif bagi dunia sukarelawan.Kata Kunci: Covid-19; New Media; Organisasi Nirlaba; Pandemi; Stakeholder Theory; Volunteering.

Ubud traditional village is a tourist area which is located in Gianyar regency. If the tourist want know the culture of Bali they must come to Ubud. However, many issues and problems arise associated with security and  tourists comfortness. Based on it, this research was conducted to analyze the Local Community Efforts in Maintaining Security and Tourists Comfortness in Ubud Traditional Village.The method used in this research is a research method with qualitative descriptive analysis technique to analyze the efforts and actions of local communities. Sources of data derived from primary data and secondary data. Data collecting technique using in-depth interviews, observation and study of literatures. Determination of informants from local communities in this study using purposive sampling technique. This study is limited by the analysis of the social action theories and coordination systems. The results of this research obtained that local community efforts in maintaining security is the assignment of trepti unit who participate in keeping any tourism activities..

Background: infant with macrosomia is a baby weighing more than 4,500 grams or for Indonesia if the baby weighs 4,000 grams, or more than two standard deviations or above 90 years of normal weight percentile. Objective: to find out the factors associated with macrosomia occurrences at Sawerigading Regional Hospital of Palopo City in 2017. Method: This study used an analytical survey using Cross Sectional Study approach. The population of this study was all maternal mothers who gave birth with baby’s weight more than 4000 grams recorded in register book of Sawerigading Regional Hospital of Palopo City from January to March 2017 accounting for 30 babies. The samples of this study was maternal mothers who gave birth with baby’s weight more than 4000 grams in whcih accounting for 30 respondents using total sampling technique. Data collection was through primary data (questionnaires) and secondary data. The data were processed using statistical product and service solution (SPSS) 20 and analyzed using univariate and bivariate with Chi-square statistical test and presented in the tabular form of frequency distribution. Result: there was a relationship between diabetes melitus and macrosomia incidences (p Value = 0,005 ˂,034), there was a relationship between heredity and macrosomia occurrences (p Value = ,034 <0,05), and there was a relationship between multiparity and macrosomia (p Value = ,011 <0,05). Conclusion: there was a relationship between heredity, multiparity and diabetes mellitus with macrosomia occurrences at Sawerigading Palopo General Hospital in 2017

Abstract. This descriptive research was conducted at Rantau Kopar village, Rokan Hilir District from January to June 2017. The reason for this study is due to the drastic declining of biodiversity of fish species at Rangau river despite the existence the local wisdom to protect the watershed in the area. It is aimed to discover the perspectives local wisdom in preventing the decreasing of fish biodiversity at Rangau river. The employed sampling technique was snowball technic sampling which involved 30 respondents. The primary data were obtained using observation and interview; the secondary data (documents). Data consist of community composition, livelihood, community participation in preserving the local wisdom, the synergy between the local wisdom and the policies of the local administration. The data were computed in percentage and were analyzed descriptively. The findings demonstrated that the local wisdom was compiled by the local community whose livelihood as fishermen. Conversely, in 2017, the local people did not comply with both sanction and the local customary law, there had been careless exploitation of the water across the watershed to be oil palm plantation area and the increasing number of oil palm farmers. This study concludes that the main threat facing the local wisdom is that the policies of local administration are not synergic with the local wisdom as stipulated in the regulations and conservation of the area across the watershed of Rangau. The implication of this study is used for the supplementary materials for the bioetnomalay subject in the Indonesian education

The existence of a tourist attraction required improving the welfare of the surrounding community. This study aims to find out how many contributions of rafting tourist attraction in society Kedewatan village, in order to contribute positively to the welfare of local communities. Therefore, this research is expected to provide benefits to related parties. This researchused of primary data and secondary data sources, while the type of data used quantitative and qualitative data. Data were collected through observation, interview and literature study. Determination of informants in this research usedpurposive sampling technique. The data analysis used is qualitative data analysis techniques and restricted by contribution concept, the concept of community participation, and the concept of community-based tourism. The results obtained are the company's contribution to Kedewatan society been running smoothly, which contributes to the Kedewatan village in the form of donations which pay each month, contributing directly to the public in the form of add job vacanciesfor local people, contributing indirectly to the local communities that helping local community businesses. To optimizie job vacanciesfor local communities,it is necessary to co-operation between companies and Kedewatan communities in recruitment labor. Adolescence is a period of storm and stress, because adolescents experience many challenges both from themselves (biopsychosocial factors) and the environment (environmental factors). The complexity of health problems in adolescents, of course, requires a comprehensive and integrated treatment that involves all elements from across programs and related sectors. The establishment of the Youth Posyandu is expected to be a forum to facilitate adolescents in understanding adolescent health problems. Data collection uses primary data and secondary data. The instrument used in the form of interviews. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of youth participation in the participation of the Youth Posyandu. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research design with a case study approach, data collection uses primary data and secondary data. The data collection technique used in-depth interviews. The research instrument used an interview guide. The research subjects consisted of the main informants, namely teenagers who attended the youth posyandu as many as 5 people. The triangulation informants were 2 cadres and 1 health worker. The sampling technique used purposive sampling The data were analyzed using Content Analysis. The results showed that the youth posyandu activities included examination of TB, BB, TD, LILA and counseling on reproductive health. Factors that influence the participation of youth posyandu are by encouraging the cadres, the availability of facilities for the implementation of youth posyandu.
