Abstract. This study aimed to identify what factors affecting the development of tourism in Kuri Caddi Beach, Nisombalia Village, Maros Regency. As well as to identify a strategy for developing tourism potential on Kuri Caddi Beach, Nisombalia Village, Maros Regency. The variables used consisted : (1) Tourist Attraction; (2) Supporting Facilities; (3) Safety and Comfort; (4) Information and Promotion; (5) Accessibility; (6) Job Opportunities; (7) (Income). The analytical method used chi-square, likert scale scoring, and SWOT analysis. There were four variables that have effect on the tourism potential development strategy in Kuri Caddi Beach, which are tourist attraction, safety and comfort, job opportunities and income. Meanwhile, there were three variables that have no effect, such us supporting facilities, information and promotion, and accessibility. The strategy that can be used for developing tourism potential on Kuri Caddi Beach is by utilizing the tourist attraction of Kuri Caddi Beach by referring to the Maros Regency Regional Regulation number 2 of 2014, concerning the implementation of tourism, involving the community in developing Kuri Caddi Beach tourism  based on the Regional Tourism Development Master Plan, and involves investors in developing Kuri Caddi Beach tourism, so that PAD and local community income are increased.. Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi pengembangan pariwisata di Pantai Kuri Caddi Desa Nisombalia Kabupaten Maros. Serta untuk mengidentifikasi strategi pengembangan potensi pariwisata di Pantai Kuri Caddi Desa Nisombalia Kabupaten Maros. Variabel yang digunakan terdiri dari tujuh diantaranya: (1) Daya Tarik Wisata; (2) Sarana Penunjang; (3) Keamanan dan Kenyamanan; (4) Informasi dan Promosi; (5) Aksesibilitas; (6) Peluang Kerja; (7) (Pendapatan). Metode analisis yang digunakan berupa chi-square, sistem skoring Skala Likert dan analisis SWOT. Variabel yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap strategi pengembangan potensi pariwisata di Pantai Kuri Caddi ada empat variabel yaitu daya tarik wisata, keamanan dan kenyamanan, peluang kerja dan pendapatan. Sedangkan variabel yang tidak memiliki pengaruh ada tiga yaitu sarana penunjang, informasi dan promosi, serta aksesibilitas. Sehingga strategi yang dapat digunakan dalam strategi pengembangan potensi pariwisata di Pantai Kuri Caddi Desa Nisombalia Kabupaten Maros yaitu dengan memanfaatkan daya tarik wisata Pantai Kuri Caddi dengan mengacu pada pada Perda Kabupaten Maros nomor 2 Tahun 2014, tentang penyelenggaraan kepariwisataan, melibatkan masyarakat dalam mengembangkan wisata Pantai Kuri Caddi berdasarkan Rencana Induk Pengembangan Kepariwisataan Daerah, serta melibatkan investor dalam mengembangkan wisata Pantai Kuri Caddi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan PAD dan pendapatan masyarakat lokal.

Badung Regency is more dominated by beach tourism. More than ten famous beaches in Bali are in Badung Regency. These beaches are only located in a few districts in Badung Regency. Inequality between sub-districts also occurs between areas that have tourism potential such as beaches and areas that have other tourism potential such as waterfalls or other tourism. This will create new problems for Badung Regency in the future. In fact, sub-districts that do not have coastal tourism potential have challenges as well as opportunities to develop. One of them is Petang District, Pelaga Village. This village does not have beach tourism but has other natural potentials that can be used as an attraction for tourists to come and visit Pelaga Village. These potential differences must be implemented which can then be used as opportunities for Pelaga Village. The purpose of this research is to produce a strategy to develop Pelaga Village as a tourism destination. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data obtained from primary data and secondary data. The data is then processed using data triangulation techniques to reduce the researcher's subjectivity and is also analyzed using SWOT analysis to produce a development strategy. In this study, it was found that Pelaga Village has a lot of potential for agro-tourism and can be developed such as asparagus and some hydroponic plants. . Not only that, the community's high interest in developing agro-tourism also supports the development of Pelaga Village. After assessing the potential that is owned by the opportunity, the threat from Pelaga Village came up with several development strategies for Pelaga Village, namely to further activate the community, especially farmer groups in developing their agro products. increasing the existence of the Agricultural Culture Festival in Pelaga Village, refining the missing destination components such as the availability of restaurants and inns, creating an organization that can bring together various farmer groups in Pelaga Village, in relation to the community in developing and managing the potentials of Pelaga Village.

Glagah Beach is one of the most potential beaches and has the uniqueness as the charm and excellence of other southern seas. Glagah Beach located in Kulon Progo Regency is the only beach in Java that has a breakwater and has a lagoon on the edge of the sea separated by the sea so that large waves do not reach the lagoon. According to the typology of Glagah beach it self can be included in the classification of marine deposition coast. This is because the beach is formed due to the deposition deposition of river sedimentation material to the sea. This condition can be indicated by the emergence of a barrier coast emerging due to sedimentation from the river that empties into the location, then subject to marine effects that result in the formation of the lagoon. The process of sedimentation that occurs due to the flow and sedimentation of the river mouth that causes sedimentation in the coastal area. Qualitative research methods used with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documents, and various sources of data so it can be more clearly known geographical aspects of Glagah Beach, tourism profile, tourist visit conditions, tourism potential Glagah Beach, and to know the constraints which faced Glagah Beach tourism object and how the development strategy of Glagah Beach tourist attraction area in the future. Glagah Beach is a natural attraction that has the privilege and excellence compared to other beaches in Yogyakarta that need to keep the sustainability and need to be managed more effectively by the community and the local government as a policy holder so Glagah Beach became one of the leading ecotourism object which is interesting in Kulon Progo Regency Yogyakarta. Gedambaan Village is one of the villages that has tourism potential in Kotabaru Regency, namely Gedambaan Beach. This beach offers two natural atmospheres that can be enjoyed simultaneously, namely views of green mountains and expanses of sea decorated with bagang fishermen, and equipped with various adequate facilities and infrastructure. The existence of coastal tourism will have a positive impact on the local community if they can participate in taking advantage of it as a new business opportunity. On the other hand, this condition will have a negative impact on their livelihoods and will only reduce the ecological quality of the coast if all economic actors there are not able to maintain the environmental sustainability. This study aims to analyze community perceptions of the management of Gedambaan Beach tourism objects. The sample in this study amounted to 101 respondents consisting of 78 local people (approach with the Slovin formula to the number of family heads) and as many as 23 people (census) tourism object managers. Perception analysis was carried out descriptively using a Likert scale calculation. The results of the study showed that the local community feels that the existence of Gedambaan beach tourism did not provide job opportunities and business opportunities for them, while they were of the view that the management of the beach tourism needs support, good relations, and involvement of the local community, especially in environmental conservation.

The research objective was to describe the potential for waterfall tourism in Sambangan Village and to analyze strategies to develop the tourist attraction of the waterfall in Sambangan Village. Collecting data by means of observation, interviews, and document recording was analyzed with qualitative analysis to describe the potential for waterfall tourism in Sambangan Village and SWOT analysis to formulate a waterfall tourism development strategy. The results showed (1) classification of waterfall tourism potential in Sambangan Village, namely the classification of low tourism potential (Barak Wall Waterfall), medium tourism potential classification (Changing Waterfall, Dedari Waterfall, Cemara Waterfall), and high tourism potential classification ( Aling Aling Waterfall, Kembar Waterfall, Kroya Waterfall, Pucuk Waterfall) and (2) A strategic plan for developing a waterfall tourist attraction, namely by developing and improving various components including tourist attractions, accessibility, facilities, institutions, and preservation. environment to increase tourists to the waterfall in Sambangan Village.

Cilacap is one of the districts in Central Java that has tourism potential with various tourism destination. One of them is Waduk Kubangkangkung. This Waduk Kubangkangkung is a tourism destination that offers beautiful natural tourism and also attractive tourism attraction. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the local community in Waduk Kubangkangkung development, knowing the manager‘s efforts in developing Waduk Kubangkangkung as a sustainable tourism destination, and finding the development strategy of Waduk Kubangkangkung to attract tourists . While the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method and SWOT analysis. The results of this study are the need for collaboration between managers and other stakeholders towards Waduk Kubangkangkung, improve promotion and also facilities that needed by tourists. Indonesia has many areas with the various tourism potentials but faces obstacles in the management, one of them is Suranadi Tourism Village in Narmada District, West Lombok Regency. This research aimed to analyze 1) the potential and tourism management system in Suranadi Tourism Village; 2) internal and external factors affecting the development of Suranadi Tourism Village; 3) the development strategy of Suranadi Tourism Village. This research applies some theories such as tourism destination development theory by Cooper (1993), irridex theory by Doxey (1976), and tripartite attraction design theory by Gunn (1972). This research used qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data obtained through interviews and observation. The method of data analysis in this research is by qualitative data analysis and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the potential of Suranadi Village as a cultural tourism village that is the potential of nature and culture. The various of potentials in the Suranadi Tourism Village as a whole has not managed professionally and optimally so that economic benefits are not fully felt for local community. The results of SWOT matrix analysis showed that there are four alternative strategies generated such as SO strategy (Strengths-Opportunities), ST strategy (Strengths-Threats), WO strategy (Weaknesses-Opportunities), WT strategy (Weaknesses-Threats).   Keywords: tourism potential, development strategy, Suranadi Tourism Village, SWOT

This research aimed at analyzing the development strategies of Loloan traditional houses to become a tourist attraction which is beneficial for the local community. This study is a descriptive qualitative study using a SWOT analysis. The informants were chosen based on purposive sampling. Based on SWOT analysis, some strategies can be implemented in Loloan Village. Those are the development of homestay, tour package, establishment of organization to manage the tourism potential, the implementation of community based tourism, the empowerment of local community by developing their awareness on tourism, the improvement of marketing strategy, make some stilt housing units as cultural assets owned by the government and being the piloting project, the development of tourism activities, and the improvement of its facilities.

Jembrana have a number of cultural potentials that can be developed as tourist attractions, one of which is the art of gamelan jegog musical instrument. Gamelan jegog made of bamboo and produce a beautiful tone. This study aims to identify the potential and constraints gamelan jegog as a tourist attraction, and to formulate an effective development strategy to be implemented. Data collection techniques used in this study were the observation, structured interviews with 11 informants from the community and the government that has insights of gamelan jegog. The method used is descriptive-qualitative and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the gamelan jegog potential can be developed into a tourist attraction in Jembrana by minimizing the constraints owned. Through SWOT approach then obtained jegog gamelan development strategy in the form of SO (strength-opportunities) strategy, namely the development of tourism potential in the district of Jembrana and increase cooperation and utilization of technology.

The purpose of this study is to determine the development of tourism potential, use of technology in developing tourism potential, and formulate strategies in developing tourism potential in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This study uses Cooper's theory related to tourism development as seen from 4 (four) indicators, namely attractions, amenities, accessbilities and ancillary services. The approach used in data analysis is SWOT analysis, which aims to analyze the use of technology in the development of tourism potential. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach by collecting data in the form of observations, interviews and documentation. The results show that the tourism potential development strategy has not been effective. In the application of 4 (four) tourism development indicators, namely attractions, amenities, accessbilities and ancillary services, there are still some shortcomings. The strategies used to increase the development of tourism potential in facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, namely: accelerating the preparation of Regional Regulations on the development of tourism based on technology; increasing budget resources for tourism development programs; improving the quality and quantity of human resources in technology-based tourism; and improving facilities and infrastructure in the development of technology-based tourism.

The purpose of this research is to reveal the ecotourism potential of Limboto lake as natural tourism which needs to be improved and developed. The research method used is the SWOT analysis method with descriptive qualitative research type. The results of the research show that; Strengths include the cultural diversity of the local community which has been preserved until now, the extraordinary tourism potential of Lake Limboto and apart from being a tourist attraction, this location is a place of livelihood for people who work as fishermen. Weakness among others are, the absence of a clear strategy in the development of Lake Limboto and inadequate facilities and infrastructure. Opportunity, among others, support from various parties, especially the government, although it is still limited to a plan that cannot be realized. There have been efforts to form a community that cares about tourism, and is close to other tourism objects. Threats, among others, are tourism development in this area is not yet a top priority and also a lack of public awareness in preserving Lake Limboto tourism objects.
