This research aimed at analyzing the development strategies of Loloan traditional houses to become a tourist attraction which is beneficial for the local community. This study is a descriptive qualitative study using a SWOT analysis. The informants were chosen based on purposive sampling. Based on SWOT analysis, some strategies can be implemented in Loloan Village. Those are the development of homestay, tour package, establishment of organization to manage the tourism potential, the implementation of community based tourism, the empowerment of local community by developing their awareness on tourism, the improvement of marketing strategy, make some stilt housing units as cultural assets owned by the government and being the piloting project, the development of tourism activities, and the improvement of its facilities.

This research aimed at finding out the condition of tourist attraction of Loloan traditional houses from the internal and external aspects. This study is a descriptive qualitative study using a SWOT analysis. The informants were chosen based on purposive sampling. The results of the internal aspect analysis reveal that Loloan traditional houses are unique and have their own characteristics. Besides, other tourist attractions can support the attractiveness of Loloan traditional houses. They are Makam Keramat Buyut, a sacred cemetery, Baitul Qhadim Mosque, and Ijo Gading River. But, on another side, Loloan traditional houses also posses some weaknesses that need to be improved. Their weaknesses are no an organization manage the tourist attraction as well as the facilities which are still considered lack. The results of external aspect analysis show that Loloan traditional houses bring the possibility for the local community to earn more income and to improve their economic state. It also can be a form of culture conservation. But it cannot be neglected that Loloan traditional houses will disappear one day as most of the local people started to build their houses in modern style. Tempat Pelelangan Ikan (TPI) Branta sama dengan pasar tradisional yaitu sebagai tempat yang kumuh, kotor dan bau. Padahal kegiatan membeli ikan segar merupakan kegiatan menarik yang bisa dijadikan sebagai wisata untuk melihat beberapa jenis ikan. Oleh karena itu, dengan pengembangan konsep yang lebih menarik menjadikan TPI Branta Pesisir sebagai wisata bahari ikan segar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengkaji kelayakan TPI Branta sebagai pasar ikan wisata bahari di Pamekasan dan untuk mengkaji strategi pengembangan tempat pelelangan ikan dari hasil uji kelayakan. Deskriptif dan SWOT digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik kuesioner kepada 30 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling dan analisis objek potensial sesuai dengan Pedoman Objek Operasional Daerah dan Analisis Objek Wisata Alam Direktur Jenderal PHKA tahun 2003 dengan kriteria Daya Tarik, Aksesibilitas, Akomodasi, dan Fasilitas. Sebagai alat untuk merancang strategi pengembangan TPI Branta menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil analisis bahwa TPI Branta layak untuk dikembangkan sebagai pasar ikan wisata bahari dengan tingkat kelayakan 70,7%. Strategi pengembangannya yaitu: (1) menambah wahana permainan keluarga, taman bunga, fotospot, fasilitas umum dilengkapi tempat tunggu yang free wifi; (2) membentuk POKDARWIS (kelompok Sadar wisata) dengan dukungan pemerintah dan masyarakat; (3) meningkatkan produk ekonomi kreatif dan memperbaiki manajemen TPI; (4) meningkatkan keamanan, keramahan, kebersihan, perbaikan jalan dan pelestarian lingkungan, dan; (5) meningkatkan promosi TPI sebagai wisata.Title: FeasibilityStudy and Development of Fish Auction Branta As A ‘Bahari’ Tourism Fish Market In PamekasanFish Auction Branta is the same as a traditional market, which is a dirty and smelly place. Though, fresh fish buying could be an interesting tour activity. Therefore, the more interesting concept of its development could promote Fish Auction Branta as a marine tourism for fresh fish. The aimed of this study was to determine the feasibility of the Branta Fish Auction Place as a marine tourism fish market in Pamekasan, and to analysed the development strategy for fish auction place based on the feasibility test. The research used descriptive and SWOT analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires towards 30 respondents with purposive sampling method and analysis of potential object in accordance with the Regional Operational Objectives Guidelines and Analysis of Nature Tourism Objects Director General of PHKA in 2003 with criteria of Attraction, Accessibility, Accommodation, and Facilities. The development strategies for developing Branta Fish Auction Place were designed based on SWOT analysis. The results showed that Branta Fish Auction Place is feasible to be developed as a marine tourism fish market with a feasibility rate of 70.7%. The development strategies are as follows: 1). Build family games, flower gardens, photospots, special public facilitiy, waiting rooms and free wifi, 2). Create tourism conscious group “POKDARWIS” to get support from the government and community, 3) Improve the economic creative products of local community and the management of Branta Fish Auction Place, 4). Improve safety, friendliness, cleanliness, road repair and environmental preservation, and 5). Improve promotion of Branta Fish Auction Place as tourism place.

The purpose of this research is to reveal the ecotourism potential of Limboto lake as natural tourism which needs to be improved and developed. The research method used is the SWOT analysis method with descriptive qualitative research type. The results of the research show that; Strengths include the cultural diversity of the local community which has been preserved until now, the extraordinary tourism potential of Lake Limboto and apart from being a tourist attraction, this location is a place of livelihood for people who work as fishermen. Weakness among others are, the absence of a clear strategy in the development of Lake Limboto and inadequate facilities and infrastructure. Opportunity, among others, support from various parties, especially the government, although it is still limited to a plan that cannot be realized. There have been efforts to form a community that cares about tourism, and is close to other tourism objects. Threats, among others, are tourism development in this area is not yet a top priority and also a lack of public awareness in preserving Lake Limboto tourism objects.

The purpose of this research is to know the management strategies of tourism Pine Lahendong and know what are the factors that’s encourages and inhibit Pine Lahendong Tourism management strategies. The problem in this research is how Tourism Pinus Lahendong management strategies and what are the factors that inhibit and encourage Tourism Pinus Lahendong management strategies. Tourism is one of the things that are important to a country, the existence of this tourism, then a country or more specifically the Government of the region where it is tourist attraction, will get the infusion of revenues per tourist attractions. The marketing strategy is basically a thorough plan, integrated and fused in the marketing field, which gives guidelines on the activities that will be executed to achieve the marketing goals of a company. Tourism Pinus Lahendong strategy and potential for managed, developed and marketed because it has beautiful natural scenery and a sulfur hot springs into a visitor attraction. This research which means to understand the phenomenon or strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats from Tourism Pinus Lahendong holistically with described it in the form of words and language so as to produce a depiction on the phenomenon that happens. the results of the SWOT analysis conducted in the Tourism development of tourism policy, then Pinus Lahendong is improving promotion through various media, to improve the existing facilities in order to provide convenience for visitors and capitalize on potential at once elaborated the opportunities that can be sold and can attract visitors.

Tabanan Regency has a high prospect in the development of tourism and its complementary facilities. Tourism village is the alternative tourism products that can provide the development of rural areas that are certainly sustainable for the future. Timpag Village is one of the villages which located in Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency which has several tourism potentials such as nature, cultures, and the local communities. The development of Rural Tourism in Timpag Village has a high value to be a tourist attraction but the reality this village has not been able to be a developed as a rural tourism. Based on these problems this research aims to determine “Development Strategies of Rural Tourism Based Local Community in Timpag Village, Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency Bali.” The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis supported by IFAS and EFAS analysis in designing a strategy for developing local community-based tourism villages used SWOT analysis. Data collection techniques are using the method of observation, interviews, library research. The result show the design of alternative strategies to develop community-based tourism villages that can be applied in the development of Rural Tourism in Timpag Village. There are six altrenative strategys that can be applied such as attractions development based on tourism potential, local communities involvement , tourism facilities development, tourism organisation development, improve the traditional security system, and improve the ability of communities about tourism development. This research aims to determine the potential of tourism based on supporting and inhibiting factors of rural tourism development in Desa Kemetul and analyzing the strategy of community-based tourism in Desa Kemetul. The research was conducted in Desa Kemetul Kecamatan Susukan Kabupaten Semarang. This study uses qualitative method which the data obtained through depth interviews with Kepala Desa Kemetul, Chairman of POKDARWIS Sekar Kanthil, Local Communities, and Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Semarang, and then the data were analyzed using SWOT analysis. The study concluded that Desa Kemetul has a lot of tourism potential to become tourist attraction. Desa Kemetul needs to consider strengthening flagship product, the strategy of sustainable development of a tourist attraction, and strategies for institutional development and human resources.

Abstract. This study aimed to identify what factors affecting the development of tourism in Kuri Caddi Beach, Nisombalia Village, Maros Regency. As well as to identify a strategy for developing tourism potential on Kuri Caddi Beach, Nisombalia Village, Maros Regency. The variables used consisted : (1) Tourist Attraction; (2) Supporting Facilities; (3) Safety and Comfort; (4) Information and Promotion; (5) Accessibility; (6) Job Opportunities; (7) (Income). The analytical method used chi-square, likert scale scoring, and SWOT analysis. There were four variables that have effect on the tourism potential development strategy in Kuri Caddi Beach, which are tourist attraction, safety and comfort, job opportunities and income. Meanwhile, there were three variables that have no effect, such us supporting facilities, information and promotion, and accessibility. The strategy that can be used for developing tourism potential on Kuri Caddi Beach is by utilizing the tourist attraction of Kuri Caddi Beach by referring to the Maros Regency Regional Regulation number 2 of 2014, concerning the implementation of tourism, involving the community in developing Kuri Caddi Beach tourism  based on the Regional Tourism Development Master Plan, and involves investors in developing Kuri Caddi Beach tourism, so that PAD and local community income are increased.. Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi pengembangan pariwisata di Pantai Kuri Caddi Desa Nisombalia Kabupaten Maros. Serta untuk mengidentifikasi strategi pengembangan potensi pariwisata di Pantai Kuri Caddi Desa Nisombalia Kabupaten Maros. Variabel yang digunakan terdiri dari tujuh diantaranya: (1) Daya Tarik Wisata; (2) Sarana Penunjang; (3) Keamanan dan Kenyamanan; (4) Informasi dan Promosi; (5) Aksesibilitas; (6) Peluang Kerja; (7) (Pendapatan). Metode analisis yang digunakan berupa chi-square, sistem skoring Skala Likert dan analisis SWOT. Variabel yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap strategi pengembangan potensi pariwisata di Pantai Kuri Caddi ada empat variabel yaitu daya tarik wisata, keamanan dan kenyamanan, peluang kerja dan pendapatan. Sedangkan variabel yang tidak memiliki pengaruh ada tiga yaitu sarana penunjang, informasi dan promosi, serta aksesibilitas. Sehingga strategi yang dapat digunakan dalam strategi pengembangan potensi pariwisata di Pantai Kuri Caddi Desa Nisombalia Kabupaten Maros yaitu dengan memanfaatkan daya tarik wisata Pantai Kuri Caddi dengan mengacu pada pada Perda Kabupaten Maros nomor 2 Tahun 2014, tentang penyelenggaraan kepariwisataan, melibatkan masyarakat dalam mengembangkan wisata Pantai Kuri Caddi berdasarkan Rencana Induk Pengembangan Kepariwisataan Daerah, serta melibatkan investor dalam mengembangkan wisata Pantai Kuri Caddi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan PAD dan pendapatan masyarakat lokal.

Religious Tourism Development of Gus Dur Sanctuary in Jombang Regency: Community Based Tourism Approach Community based tourism is the concept of tourism development by involving the people or community in its activities and management. This study aims to determine priority factors that may affect community based tourism and development strategy of Gus Dur sanctuary religious tourism in Jombang Regency. The analytical method used in this case is Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) analysis. Based on the results of AHP analysis, it was found that the activity of the organization or society groups (0.382), increased cooperation government and society (0.269), the addition of facilities and infrastructure (0.182), and manufacture of regulation (0.167), factor activity of organizations/communities are considered most important in determining the priority development of religious tourism of Gus Dur sanctuary. The results SWOT analysis obtained, six development strategies, namely to involve the local community in tourism development and empowerment activities, to facilitate the development of business/industry through microcredits that can support people’s economy, to optimize the role of the government to increase the planned development targets, to facilitate development of home business/industry through courses and training institutions, improve cooperation with private sector to support tourism development, and improve cooperation between community and government or private sector in developing local economy.

This research aims to analyze marketing strategy of tourism in Yogyakarta using SWOT analysis. This research is using Community Based Tourism (CBT) approach. CBT is the empowerment of local community where they are involved in the planning, managing, and decision making for the development. The urgency of this research is the demand from Indonesian government for tourism development in Special Region of Yogyakarta in order to make Yogyakarta as a leading tourism destination in Southeast Asia. This research is conducted in Yogyakarta that has four districts and one city. The data used in this research is primary and secondary data. The respondents are foreign and domestic tourists and stakeholders officials. The number of respondents is 300 people. The data is collected by convinience sampling. The secondary data analysis shows that foreign and domestic tourists who come to Special Region of Yogyakarta is relatively increasing in the last three years. Tourism destination in Special Region of Yogyakarta which based on community is also increasing and always innovating. The primary data analysis shows thattourism destination quality, satisfaction, and image according to the visitor perception is good, but the visitor loyaly shows a bad result. Most of the tourists visit Special Region of Yogyakarta just once and it is just a transit destination. The strategy that is necessary to increase the visit in tourism destination for tourists can be done through promotion of cultural destination that is quite attractive for the tourists. An integrated promotion for CBT needs to be more improved.

ABSTRAK Pulau Pahawang di Teluk Lampung memiliki potensi sumberdaya alam beragam dan produktif sehingga dapat dikembangkan sebagai objek ekowisata. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari hingga Maret 2016 di Pulau Pahawang Kabupaten Pesawaran Propinsi Lampung. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui potensi sumberdaya alam Pulau Pahawang, mengetahui persepsi, partisipasi dan aspirasi responden serta menyusun strategi pengembangan ekowisata berbasis masyarakat di pulau Pahawang. Metode penelitian adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif yang bersifat studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengamatan kesesuaian lahan pantai dan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner kepada 50 responden yang terdiri dari 25 responden masyarakat dan 25 responden pengujung. Data dianalisa menggunakan metode analisis SWOT. Hasil analisa kesesuaian lahan pantai di Pulau Pahawang sebagai kawasan objek wisata sangat sesuai (95%). Potensi ekosistem mangrove dan terumbu karang juga menjadi daya tarik wisata di pulau Pahawang. Persepsi responden tentang  pengembangan ekowisata pulau Pahawang cukup baik, menurut masyarakat (40%) dan pengunjung (44%). Partisipasi masyarakat terhadap kegiatan wisata di pulau Pahawang cukup baik (45%) sedangkan partisipasi pengunjung dalam menjaga kebersihan pulau Pahawang sudah baik (62%). Aspirasi responden terhadap pengembangan ekowisata pulau Pahawang meliputi akses transportasi, promosi, fasilitas umum, biaya perjalanan dan dukungan pemerintah untuk masyarakat 50% dan pengunjung 59%. Hasil analisis SWOT untuk strategi pengembangan ekowisata berbasis masyarakat di Pulau Pahawang yaitu berada pada posisi strategi Strength-Opportunities (SO). Prioritas strategi SO adalah pengembangan ekowisata berbasis masyarakat dengan pendampingan lembaga dan pemerintah. Kata Kunci : Pahawang; Ekowisata; Persepsi; Partisipasi; Aspirasi; Masyarakat; SWOT  ABSTRACT Pahawang Island in the Bay of Lampung has diverse natural resources and productive so that it can be developed as an ecotourism object. This research was carried out from February to March 2016 at Pesawaran Regency Pahawang islans in Lampung Province. The research aims to know the natural resource potential in the Pahawang island, to know perception, participation and aspirations of respondents as well as to set up strategy of community-based ecotourism development in the Pahawang island. The research method used descriptive qualitative methods that be case studies. Data collection is carried out by observing land suitability of the beach and interviewing using questionnaires to 50 respondents consisting of 25 local community and 25 visitors. Data were analyzed using SWOT analysis. The results of land suitability analysis of the beach on the Pahawang island is very appropriate (95%). The mangrove ecosystems and coral reefs are also potential to be a tourist attraction on the Pahawang island. Perception of respondents on development of ecotourism at Pahawang island is good enough, for the community 40% and visitors 44%. Public participation toward tourism activities on the Pahawang island is good enough for the community 45% whereas the participation of visitors in maintaining the cleanliness of the Pahawang island is good (62%). The respondent's aspirations towards development of ecotourism at Pahawang Island include transportation, promotion, access to public facilities, travel costs and Government support, for the community is 50% and visitors is 59%. The results of SWOT  analysis on the strategy of community-based ecotourism development in the Pahawang Island that is in the position of Stregth-Opportunities (SO).
