The purpose of this research is to reveal the ecotourism potential of Limboto lake as natural tourism which needs to be improved and developed. The research method used is the SWOT analysis method with descriptive qualitative research type. The results of the research show that; Strengths include the cultural diversity of the local community which has been preserved until now, the extraordinary tourism potential of Lake Limboto and apart from being a tourist attraction, this location is a place of livelihood for people who work as fishermen. Weakness among others are, the absence of a clear strategy in the development of Lake Limboto and inadequate facilities and infrastructure. Opportunity, among others, support from various parties, especially the government, although it is still limited to a plan that cannot be realized. There have been efforts to form a community that cares about tourism, and is close to other tourism objects. Threats, among others, are tourism development in this area is not yet a top priority and also a lack of public awareness in preserving Lake Limboto tourism objects.

This research aimed at analyzing the development strategies of Loloan traditional houses to become a tourist attraction which is beneficial for the local community. This study is a descriptive qualitative study using a SWOT analysis. The informants were chosen based on purposive sampling. Based on SWOT analysis, some strategies can be implemented in Loloan Village. Those are the development of homestay, tour package, establishment of organization to manage the tourism potential, the implementation of community based tourism, the empowerment of local community by developing their awareness on tourism, the improvement of marketing strategy, make some stilt housing units as cultural assets owned by the government and being the piloting project, the development of tourism activities, and the improvement of its facilities.

Ambon Island is famous for its natural resources, especially in the Central Maluku Regency such as Hunimua Beach in Liang Village and Natsepa Beach in Suli Village which is famous for its white sand along the coast. Unlike the two beaches, there is a beach in the western part of Ambon Island, precisely in the village of Lilibooi, namely Batu Kapal Beach or Batu Lobang. This beach has the potential to be developed as a tourist attraction. But besides its huge potential, this place still has several obstacles or challenges as a tourist destination. This research was conducted with the aim of identifying opportunities and challenges for developing the tourist attraction of Batu Kapal Beach. This study adopts a descriptive qualitative research method by observing tourism potential and supporting elements of tourism products at Batu Kapal Beach. In addition, the researchers also conducted interviews with the management of Batu Kapal Beach, the local community and the Lilibooi Village Chief regarding their views on the existence of Batu Kapal Beach attractions. Distribution of questionnaires to tourists was also carried out by involving 100 respondents who were randomly selected. The data collected is then processed and analyzed using the SWOT method. The results of this study are that based on calculations from the EFAS and IFAS Matrix, Batu Kapal Beach is in the quadrant point of 0.18 and 0.65 to be precisely in the quadrant I position, which is an aggressive strategy. Where the Batu Kapal Beach can utilize strengths and opportunities to progress, grow and develop in a better direction. Such as cooperating with the government and involving local communities to assist in the process of managing and developing Batu Kapal Beach.


East Nusa Tenggara Province surrounded by many potentials nature-based attractions, one of them is Mulut Seribu beach, in the Rote Ndao Regency. This beach is one of seven priority tourist attractions by the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Government. Local Government initiation is welcomed by the local community and this research aims to create a strategy to develop the Mulut Seribu beach attraction with marine-based tourism to support sustainability. The research type is using descriptive qualitative, with interviewing stakeholders from five key informants living around the tourist attraction namely government representatives, tourists, and the local community. The results showed that according to SWOT analysis Mulut Seribu Beach is among Curve 1, which means the development of this destination still aggressive to be developed with a concentration of development in SO, namely strength and opportunity. This result is shown by the Mulut Seribu festival as a form of coordination between community and government participation in developing marine tourism in Mulut Seribu Beach. The Desa Makmur Peduli Api (DMPA) Program is a form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from PT. Finnantara Intiga. This program aims to empower the local community in a productive economic sector which focuses on increasing the local people's income. The various DMPA programs that have been prepared are fish farming, cattle farming, rice, and corn farming. Based on the results of the study and agreement with the local community, the DMPA program focuses on corn farming. The purpose of this study was to determine a strategy to improve the performance of corn farming. The research method uses descriptive methods with SWOT analysis tools to determine strategic alternatives and QSPM analysis to select strategic priorities. The respondents consisted of 4 key informants and 18 regular informants for SWOT analysis and 4 experts for QSPM analysis. The result of the SWOT analysis is WO (Weakness - Opportunity) strategy with 4 alternative strategies. Based on the results of the QSPM analysis, the priority strategy is for the company have to collaborate with the government to train farmers routinely.

Abstract. This study aimed to identify what factors affecting the development of tourism in Kuri Caddi Beach, Nisombalia Village, Maros Regency. As well as to identify a strategy for developing tourism potential on Kuri Caddi Beach, Nisombalia Village, Maros Regency. The variables used consisted : (1) Tourist Attraction; (2) Supporting Facilities; (3) Safety and Comfort; (4) Information and Promotion; (5) Accessibility; (6) Job Opportunities; (7) (Income). The analytical method used chi-square, likert scale scoring, and SWOT analysis. There were four variables that have effect on the tourism potential development strategy in Kuri Caddi Beach, which are tourist attraction, safety and comfort, job opportunities and income. Meanwhile, there were three variables that have no effect, such us supporting facilities, information and promotion, and accessibility. The strategy that can be used for developing tourism potential on Kuri Caddi Beach is by utilizing the tourist attraction of Kuri Caddi Beach by referring to the Maros Regency Regional Regulation number 2 of 2014, concerning the implementation of tourism, involving the community in developing Kuri Caddi Beach tourism  based on the Regional Tourism Development Master Plan, and involves investors in developing Kuri Caddi Beach tourism, so that PAD and local community income are increased.. Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi pengembangan pariwisata di Pantai Kuri Caddi Desa Nisombalia Kabupaten Maros. Serta untuk mengidentifikasi strategi pengembangan potensi pariwisata di Pantai Kuri Caddi Desa Nisombalia Kabupaten Maros. Variabel yang digunakan terdiri dari tujuh diantaranya: (1) Daya Tarik Wisata; (2) Sarana Penunjang; (3) Keamanan dan Kenyamanan; (4) Informasi dan Promosi; (5) Aksesibilitas; (6) Peluang Kerja; (7) (Pendapatan). Metode analisis yang digunakan berupa chi-square, sistem skoring Skala Likert dan analisis SWOT. Variabel yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap strategi pengembangan potensi pariwisata di Pantai Kuri Caddi ada empat variabel yaitu daya tarik wisata, keamanan dan kenyamanan, peluang kerja dan pendapatan. Sedangkan variabel yang tidak memiliki pengaruh ada tiga yaitu sarana penunjang, informasi dan promosi, serta aksesibilitas. Sehingga strategi yang dapat digunakan dalam strategi pengembangan potensi pariwisata di Pantai Kuri Caddi Desa Nisombalia Kabupaten Maros yaitu dengan memanfaatkan daya tarik wisata Pantai Kuri Caddi dengan mengacu pada pada Perda Kabupaten Maros nomor 2 Tahun 2014, tentang penyelenggaraan kepariwisataan, melibatkan masyarakat dalam mengembangkan wisata Pantai Kuri Caddi berdasarkan Rencana Induk Pengembangan Kepariwisataan Daerah, serta melibatkan investor dalam mengembangkan wisata Pantai Kuri Caddi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan PAD dan pendapatan masyarakat lokal.

ABSTRAKBelum banyaknya masyarakat mengenal dan beminat untuk berkunjung ke desa wisata Puspoardi dengan ikon-ikon wisatanya yang menarik. Hal ini berdampak pada menurunnya semangat pengelola untuk mengembangkan destinasi agar lebih optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merumuskan alternatif strategi pengembangan daya tarik yang mendukung kegiatan promosi untuk mendatangkan wisatawan ke desa wisata Puspoardi. Metode penelitian dalam riset ini adalah diskriptif kualitatif yang didukung dengan metode SWOT analysis untuk merumuskan strategi sesuai tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan metode analysis yang digunakan menunjukkan bahwa perbandingan bobot score antara kekuatan dan kelemahan adalah kelemahan lebih besar dari pada kekekuatan. Sedangkan perbandingan antara bobot score peluang dan ancaman adalah peluang lebih besar dari pada ancaman. Dengan hasil analysis ini strategi pengembangan daya tarik wisata yang relevan untuk diterapkan pada desa wisata Puspoardi adalah dengan memanfaatkan kelemahan dan peluang (weakness and oppurtinities), dengan rumusan strategi antara lain : menjalin kerjasama dengan pihak lain seperti perguruan tinggi untuk mendapatkan pendampingan dan pelatihan dalam menyusun strategi informasi dan promosi dengan tehnologi yang ada saat ini, meningkatkan peran serta masyarakat khususnya pengelola desa wisata untuk mengembangkan alat promosi yang relevan dalam versi cetak maupun online, memanfaatkan dukungan pemerintah untuk pembangunan fasilitas pokok yang belum tersedia.Kata Kunci : Strategi, daya tarik, promosi, wisata ABSTRACTNot many people know and are interested in visiting the Puspoardi tourist village with its attractive tourist icons. This has an impact on decreasing the enthusiasm of managers to develop destinations to be more optimal. The purpose of this research is to formulate an alternative strategy to develop attractiveness that supports promotional activities to bring tourists to the Puspoardi tourist village. The research method in this research is a qualitative descriptive supported by the SWOT analysis method to formulate strategies according to the research objectives. The results of the study based on the analysis method used indicate that the comparison of the weight score between strengths and weaknesses is weakness greater than strength. While the comparison between the weight of the opportunity and the threat score is a greater opportunity than the threat. With the results of this analysis, the strategy for developing a tourist attraction that is relevant to the Puspoardi tourist village is to take advantage of weaknesses and opportunities, with strategic formulations including: collaborating with other parties such as universities to get assistance and training in preparing information and promotion strategies with existing technology, increase community participation, especially tourism village managers to develop relevant promotional tools in print and online versions, take advantage of government support for the construction of basic facilities that are not yet available.Key Words: Strategy, Attraction, Promotion, Tourism

This research has a specific purpose: (i) determine the potential of coastal area can be developed as a tourism product, (ii) Knowing constraints are faced in developing the tourism potential, and (iii) determine strategies that can be used in developing the tourism potential of the coast as a creative tourism products Yeh Gangga Beach, Sudimara village, Tabanan Bali. The general objective to be achieved is to improve the performance of the tourism sector in the welfare of society Tabanan through sustainable tourism development by developing creative potential.. The research found that (i) Yeh Gangga Beach has some potential creativity attraction, such as : art market, handycraft,video and photography, music and art performance, scenery, and accomodation; (ii) The main problems encountered are (i)Most strategic land has been switched ownership to investors. The strategy should be applied is (i) Maintain Yeh Gangga Beach as tourist attraction developed Tabanan through local regulations, (ii) increasing public awareness of tourism. The implications are (i) theoretically enriching literature of sustainability in tourism coastal area, (ii)practically could enhance the government to develop coastal tourism in Tabanan Bali.

This study aims to analyze external and internal factors in the form of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the development of Linjuang tourism objects in Lubuk Sikaping, Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra. After the analysis is carried out, a development strategy is formulated by minimizing weaknesses and threats and then maximizing the existing strengths and opportunities. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method using SWOT analysis tools (Strengths, Weaknes, Opportunities, Threats). Data collection techniques through literature study, observation and interviews with owners, communities and visitors of Linjuang tourism objects. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that the strategy for developing Linjuang tourism objects, among others, is by completing facilities and markets such as toilets, prayer rooms and parking locations as well as maintenance of tourist attraction areas, then promoting tourism objects through online and print media and involving the government, private sector and the community in management. tourist attraction. Tourism activities should pay attention to several principles of management, besides the fulfillment of the tourists’ needs, the other thing to be noted is the surrounding communities without damaging the natural environment and its cultural and having a positive impact on the welfare of the local community so that it will create balance between tourism and the community. Batu Termanu region has tourism potential such as marine tourism, culture and history as a tourist attraction, but it has not developed properly. This study aims to determine the potential of Batu Termanu Region as a tourist destination area and to define the right strategy of tourism development here. Data analysis method used was SWOT analysis. The result of this study showed that Batu Termanu Region has the potential of natural, culture, history appeal and kinship community, but it was not fully supported yet by the facilities, infrastructure, transport and friendliness that support tourist activities. The right strategies in developing this area were to build all of the facilities and good infrastructure, promotion, making travel packages, to involve the community in the development process.

The magnitude of tourism potential and diversity of tourism in Pesisir Barat District, making the attraction for tourists in Pesisir Barat District. It is needed a tourism planning in the mapping of marine ecotourism area in Pesisir Barat District, beauty of nature, and the interest of foreign tourists are not hindered by the attributes - ecotourism attributes that are inadequate for the purpose of the prosperity that has a big impact for the province and the country. The purpose of this research is to design the zoning of marine ecotourism area in Pesisir Barat regency. The method used is Community Based Analysis Method and SWOT Analysis based on Geographic Information System. Based on the analysis, this regency has 30 areas that have the potential to be developed. It can be concluded that special attention is needed from the government in arranging space and territory in natural resources owned by Pesisir Barat regency.
