Consumers highly value environmentally-conscious companies in today's world. These businesses announce their environmental awareness through various marketing tools such as advertising, public relations, sponsorship, social responsibility projects. These methods provide support to environmentalist images of brands since they are informative yet in some cases, they are perceived as unnatural by consumers. It is possible to say that being consistent and plain for actions taken for environmental activities have a direct impact on whether these activities are unnatural or sincere. In the article, the effects on brand and corporate image of green marketing practices of businesses were examined. While examining the image created by the green marketing practices of the brands in the consumer's mind, it is also important to examine the actions taken for social responsibility. Therefore, the green marketing application processes of the corporate social responsibility approach are examined. In this article, a fuel company's advertising film, which is known as environmentally friendly with green marketing practices, has been examined according to the semiotic analysis method.

AbstractThis research aims to analyze the quality of service and corporate social responsibility BNI Syariah against corporate image in PT BNI Syariah Center, Jakarta. Sampling technique used in this research is convenience sampling method, then the data in the process by using multiple linear regression analysis method. Sample in this research is BNI Syariah Center customer, Jakarta amounts to 100 respondents. This research is a quantitative research and data analysis method using multiple liniear regression. The result of this research shows that partially the service quality and corporate social responsibility variables significantly influence the image of the company in syariah bank. Simultaneously the service quality and corporate social responsibility variables significantly influence the image of the company in syariah bank at the level of significance less than 0.05 or 5%.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas pelayanan dan corporate social responsibility BNI Syariah terhadap citra perusahaan di PT BNI Syariah Pusat, Jakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode convenience sampling. Kemudian data diproses dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi linear berganda. Sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan nasabah BNI Syariah Pusat, Jakarta berjumlah 100 responden. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan metode analisis data menggunakan regresi liniear  berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara parsial variabel kualitas pelayanan dan corporate social responsibility berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap citra perusahaan di bank syariah. Secara simultan variabel kualitas pelayanan dan corporate social responsibility berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap citra perusahaan di bank syariah pada tingkat signifikansi kurang dari 0,05 atau 5%.

Social media have opened up new opportunities for the creation of innovative public relations strategies focused on establishing and cultivating relationships with stakeholders on the basis of meaningful dialogue. Consideration of the interrelation between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and public relations highlights new areas for exploration and engagement. Both the dialogical and semantic perspectives reveal the performative and conversational aspects of social media. In general, both the linguistic panorama of CSR and digital media as part of a PR strategy open new possibilities for a dialogical, interactive, meaningful relationship strategy for corporate image management. Based on the linguistic approach to CSR and the Communication Management Approach, this paper explores the linguistic use of Twitter as a primary dialogical strategy to effectively enhance interactive dialogue-based relationships with the stakeholders of the top 50 companies in the energy sector based on tweet data from 2016. Semantic analysis was conducted by advanced text mining and clustering techniques on 3042 tweets monitored in 2017 that contained the leading CSR-related hashtags and keywords. The results demonstrated that the top energy companies apply a defensive and symbolic perspective, mainly for branding purposes. The corporate discourse dominates over a meaningful conversational strategy to foster interaction with stakeholders around sustainability issues on Twitter. The study reveals a homogenized interrelation between CSR, social media, and public relations. The results reveal a tendency for isomorphy in the communication models applied by the companies in the energy sector. Furthermore, similarities in semantics and thus strong tendencies to mutually mimic dialogical strategies are also observed. The semantic narrative built around the brand indicates a limited orientation towards CSR and sustainability. As such, it does not contribute to the creation of a dialogical interaction and meaningful relationships with multiple stakeholders on Twitter, in the high-risk sector represented by the energy industry.

This study aims to determine the strategy of the Corporate Social Responsibility program conducted by Public Relations at PT Wijaya Karya in shaping a positive corporate image. The approach used in this research is qualitative with the case study research method. A qualitative approach was taken to find out the perspective of the object of research more deeply and be able to get to know the person (subject) personally and see them develop their own definition of this world and be able to feel what they experienced in the struggle with everyday society. The strategy of the Corporate Social Responsibility program conducted by PT. Wijaya Karya consists of 4 WIKA pillars. Overall, the Corporate Social Responsibility program conducted by PT. Wijaya Karya has a role in shaping a positive company image because the activities carried out are very beneficial and sustainable. In addition, the communication that exists between the company and the community is very good in Corporate Social Responsibility activities so that the community gives a positive response to the project carried out by PT. Wijaya Karya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi program Corporate Social Responsibility yang dilakukan Public Relations di PT Wijaya Karya dalam membentuk citra perusahaan yang positif. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan untuk mengetahui cara pandang objek penelitian lebih mendalam dan dapat mengenal orang (subjek) secara pribadi dan melihat mereka mengembangkan definisi mereka sendiri tentang dunia ini dan dapat merasakan apa yang mereka alami dalam pergulatan dengan masyarakat sehari-hari. Strategi program Corporate Social Responsibility yang dilakukan PT. Wijaya Karya terdiri dari 4 pilar WIKA. Secara keseluruhan program Corporate Social Responsibility yang dilakukan PT. Wijaya Karya berperan dalam pembentukan citra perusahan yang positif karen kegiatan yang dilakukan sangat bermanfaat dan berkelanjutan. Selain itu, komunikasi yang terjalin antara perusahaan dan masyarakat sangat baik dalam kegiatan Corporate Social Responsibility sehingga masyarakat memberikan respon yang positif terhadap proyek yang dilakukan oleh PT. Wijaya Karya.

As professional sport teams’ involvement with corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities are prevalent and expected by the public, there has been more attention on the factors that can influence consumers’ reactions to CSR activities. This study investigated the influence of two factors—corporate image and organization choice of communication vehicle—on individuals’ responses, perceived motive, and change of attitude to a professional team sports organization’s CSR activities. A total of 225 usable surveys were collected from a university located in the southern region of the United States for data analyses. The study showed that corporate image had a main effect on perceived motives, Munfavorable = 5.07, Mfavorable = 5.60, F(1, 216) = 6.38, p < .05, , and attitudes, Munfavorable = 4.64, Mfavorable = 5.49; F(1, 216) = 18.34, p < .05, , toward the team due to CSR activities, while there was no main effect for the professional team sports organization’s chosen communication vehicle, F(2, 217) = 1.09, p > .05, for their CSR activities. The importance of building good corporate image and communicating CSR activities to the fan base are also discussed.

Citra perusahaan yang baik di mata publik menjadi salah satu faktor yang harus diperhatikan di tengah persaingan bisnis saat ini. Bagi perusahaan fintech lending yang bergerak pada layanan keuangan dan beroperasional secara online, trust dan citra positif dari pengguna atau calon pengguna menjadi hal yang penting. Membangun trust dan citra positif merupakan fungsi dari public relations dalam sebuah perusahaan. Melalui penelitian ini akan dilihat bagaimana praktisi public relations Investree menjalankan aktivitas PR dalam rangka mengelola citra perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma interpretif dan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan wawancara sebagai metode utama dalam pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa posisi PR di Investree sudah dijalankan secara strategis dengan aktivitas PR yang paling dominan dilakukan adalah media relations, customer relations, dan content and brand management. Akan tetapi, aktivitas lainnya seperti community relations, government relations, corporate social responsibility dan lain sebagainya juga dilakukan oleh tim lainnya dalam departemen Marketing & Communications. Selanjutnya, semua tools PR juga telah dimanfaatkan oleh tim PR Investree, mulai dari controlled PR, uncontrolled PR, dan juga semi-controlled PR, termasuk salah satunya adalah media sosial dalam mengelola citra positif di mata publik. The article aggregates a variety of tools aimed to boost awareness and understanding of social responsibility among different groups of shareholders. At the same time the re-search shows a list of tools applicable for public relations (PR) practitioners (not only) to disseminate and promote corporate social responsibility (CSR). This paper emphasizes two groups of tools as qualitative and quantitative. All the tools were analyzed according to the scope of needed activities and interpreted in terms of applicability to the CSR goals.

The study conducted a theoretical review and review of previous studies shows that the research gap is the correlation between social responsibility factors, green marketing strategy, corporate reputation and business performance. The practical context of the tourism service industry in Vietnam is also necessary and suitable for research. The study's overall objective is to propose and test a model on the relationship between corporate social responsibility, green marketing strategy, corporate reputation, and business performance. In the case of the study, it is a travel service business in Ho Chi Minh City. The research methodology of the research is a mixed-method, performed sequentially as follows: the first qualitative research through interviews with 10 experts to consider the necessity of the research problem in Vietnam, to adjust and supplement the scales for research concepts; Quantitative research with a questionnaire survey. According to the quota principle (quota), the sample was selected with a sample size of 218 travel companies to test the proposed theoretical research model. A second qualitative study was performed to aid the interpretation of the results from quantitative data analysis. Research results have identified stakeholders in the tourism industry, including tourists, travel businesses, local authorities and local people. The relationships between research concepts are confirmed, including corporate social responsibility, green marketing strategies that have a positive impact on corporation reputation, corporate social responsibility is found to have a positive impact on green marketing strategies, corporate social responsibility, green marketing strategies, and corporate reputation all have positive effects on business results. At the same time, the enterprise's characteristics in terms of the main type of business and the size of the business are identified as having differences in the relationship between research concepts.
