The research aim is to know how is the conceptual understanding of mathematics lesson with classical guidance tutorial as a final examination preparation on grade 6 Lentera Harapan Elementary School- Tomohon. The research was done by descriptive methods, with two (2) classes of Grade 6 students Lentera Harapan Elementary School- Tomohon. Data was collected through interviews and tests. Data analysis by using percentage of 40% students can get 6.5 KKM score (a minimum completeness criteria). This researches shows that in general student conceptual understanding of mathematics lesson is not satisfying. This is visible from 40% students of  Grade 6 can understood the mathematics concept and 60% still struggling with the concept. The researcher discovered that there were misconception on fraction and memorizing on the units of length, time, weight and temperature and how to convert it on difference unit.  Key words: Understanding, concept, mathematics

Ongoing discussions about students' experiences with data analysis include debates about the role of graphical representations in supporting students' understandings (Shaughnessy 1992; Lehrer and Romberg, in press; Hancock, Kaput, and Goldsmith 1992). More specifically, do students first need to know how to construct various types of graphs before they can engage in an analysis of data, or can they learn how to construct various types of graphs by engaging in data analysis? Further, can they engage in data analysis before they have acquired a conceptual understanding of the multiple forms of data representation? These discussions also include a debate over the role of representative values, such as the mean, mode, and median (Mokros and Russell 1995). What are students' understandings of representative values? How should representative values be introduced? What role does students' understanding of representative values play in their ability to analyze sets of data?

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat pemahaman guru terhadap konsep pembelajaran aritmatika-bahasa. Populasi adalah guru sekolah dasar kelas I - III. Responden berjumlah 30 orang. Analisis dilakukan untuk menggambarkan: (1) tingkat pemahaman guru tentang kurikulum, (2) buku teks, (3) kurikulum pelatihan, dan (4) proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan analisis data diketahui bahwa: (1) pemahaman terhadap kurikulum adalah yang paling tinggi sebesar 30,66%; (2) buku pembelajaran sebesar 16,66%; (3) kurikulum pelatihan 0,27%; (4) proses pembelajaran 75,55%. Analisis komponen Perencanaan Pendidikan (RPP) menghasilkan skor rata-rata 53,45% pada tingkat pemahaman guru, lebih kecil dari skor pedoman minimum 76%. Berdasarkan pengamatan proses pembelajaran, diketahui bahwa hanya 23,22% responden atau 7 orang yang memperoleh skor baik. Itu artinya tingkat pemahaman tentang konsep pembelajaran aritmatika-bahasa relatif rendah. Dari hasil penelitian ini disajikan dengan saran-saran berikut: (1) harus ada langkah-langkah untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran elemen aritmatika-bahasa pemahaman guru, (2) kurikulum pelatihan harus menekankan pemahaman konseptual. Kata kunci: pemahaman; guru aritmatika; kurikulum This study aimed to describe the level of teachers' understanding of the concept of arithmetic- language learning. The population was grade I – III of elementary school teacher. Respondents were 30 people. Analyzes were performed to describe: (1) the level of teachers' understanding of the curriculum, (2) textbooks, (3) training curriculum, and (4) the learning process. Based on data analysis, it is shown that: (1) understanding of the curriculum is the highest 30.66%; (2) learning books is 16.66%; (3) training curriculum is 0.27%; (4) the learning process is 75.55%. Analysis of the components of the Lesson Plan (RPP) yielded an average score of 53.45% level of understanding of teachers, smaller than the minimum guideline score 76%. Based on the observation of the learning process, it is known that only 23.22% of respondents or 7 people who obtain a score well. That means that the level of understanding of the heritage of the concept of arithmetic-language learning is relatively low. From the results of this study, it is suggested that: (1) there should be measures to enhance learning of arithmetic-language element of understanding teachers, (2) training curriculum should emphasize conceptual understanding. This research is motivated by poor teacher performance. For this reason the aim of this research is to improve teacher performance by carrying out academic supervision. This study uses a school action research design that has stages of planning, implementation, observation, reflection. This research was conducted at the target schools in Dumai city from March 4 to April 27. The subjects of this study were grade IV elementary school teachers totaling 11 people. Data analysis instruments use observation sheets that are analyzed and described according to the criteria set. The results showed that the teacher's performance in the first cycle had an average percentage of 65% with sufficient criteria, classically the number of teachers who achieved the indicator of success was 3 people (27%). After repairs with academic supervision, the performance of teachers in the second cycle increased with a percentage of 81% with sufficient criteria. Classically the number of teachers who achieved good performance was 9 people (81%). The conclusion of this study is the implementation of academic supervision can improve the performance of elementary school teachers in the city of Dumai.

This study aims to develop learning comic media that valid good environment and bad environment toward natural sciences learning in environment theme for class III elementary school.. Data collection instrument consicts of interview sheet, questionnaire on teacher needs, quesionnaire on student needs,  quesionnaire on professional media valid, quesionnaire on material expert, quesionnaire teacher responses and quesionnaire students responses. Result from this study showed that data analysis, professional media valid and learning material expert indicate assessment of comic media with average of value professional media I is 91,67% and professional media II is 85%  while result material expert I is 91,67% and maerial expert II is 85%. From that average result indicate that media is reasonable and valid for used to be learning media.

Abstract. This research aims to know how the implementation of maintenance conducted by PT X and how maintenance by PT X used the preventive and breakdown maintenance methods to minimize engine maintenance cost. The research method used in this study is care study whereas this type of research is quantitative descriptive research. Technique of collecting data in this research by obsererving, interviewing and collecting documents related to research. Data analysis used by using preventive and breakdown maintenance methods. The result of this research is PT X performs maintenance of the engine by using preventive maintenance such as routine maintenance, semi-overhaul forecast maintenance and annual maintenance and breakdown maintenance are usually performed when the machine is fully damaged or dead. PT X should implement preventive maintenance because it is more efficient at 13,2% than the company’s maintenance. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan pemeliharaan mesin yang dilakukan PT X dan bagaimana pemeliharaan mesin yang yang dilakukan PT X dengan menggunakan metode preventive dan breakdown maintenance untuk meminimumkan biaya pemeliharaan mesin. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini studi kasus sedangkan jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dan pengumpulan dokumen-dokumen yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Analisis data yang digunakan dengan menggunakan metode preventive dan breakdown maintenance. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah PT X hendaknya melakukan pemeliharaan mesin dengan menggunakan preventive maintenance seperti perawatan rutin, perawatan semi overhaul dan perawatan tahunan dan breakdown maintenance biasa dilakukan saat mesin mengalami kerusakan atau mati total. PT X hendaknya melaksanakan preventive maintenance karena lebih efisien sebesar 13,2% dibandingkan pemeliharaan yang dilakukan perusahaan.

This research is socio legal. The research is descriptive. Types of data used include primary data and secondary data, which includes primary legal materials and legal secondary materials. Data collection techniques used with interviews and studies library. Data analysis techniques used in this research was the qualitative analysis. The results of research and discussion of the basic considerations that Rakyat Indonesia Bank in the acquisition of the Agroniaga Bank business expansion, addition of assets as there are similarities in core business, namely in the field of agribusiness, the demand for Indonesia of Bank to Rakyat Indonesia Bank to acquire Agroniaga Bank who are going through a slump. Agroniaga Bank ownership after being acquired belong to the people’s Indonesia of Bank. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian hukum empiris yang bersifat deskriptif. Jenis data yang digunakan meliputi data primer dan data sekunder, yang mencakup bahan hukum primer dan bahan hukum sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan wawancara dan studi kepustakaan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan bahwa dasar  pertimbangan Bank Rakyat Indonesia dalam melakukan akuisisi Bank Agroniaga yaitu ekspansi bisnis, penambahan aset karena terdapat kemiripan pada core bussines yaitu dibidang agribisnis, permintaan Bank Indonesia kepada Bank Rakyat Indonesia untuk mengakuisisi  Bank Agroniaga  yang  sedang  mengalami  keterpurukan.  Kepemilikan  Bank Agroniaga setelah diakuisisi menjadi milik Bank Rakyat Indonesia. The study was aimed at comparing learners’ knowledge of their listening and oral interpretation problems with their teachers’ perception and knowledge of the same problems. Fifty two learners in company with their three instructors participated in the study. The study tapped the students’ reflections on cognitive, affective and linguistic factors impinging on listening and oral interpretation processes and teachers’ perception and knowledge of the same real time listening and interpretation tasks. Introspection techniques, observation and interviews were the main techniques of data collection. Data analysis revealed many congruencies between the learners and their instructors in terms of the listening experiences and perceptions. They included such themes as ‘ineffective strategy of focusing on words’, ‘speedy delivery’, ‘difficulty level of the material’, ‘accent effect’ and ‘parsing problem’. However, some discrepancies were also identified with regard to such core themes as ‘modality’ and affective issues such as ‘stress’, ‘sense of fatigue’ and ‘concentration loss’. The results suggest that instructors’ perception and awareness of their learners’ listening processing and oral translation skills coupled with those of learners can provide rich information in developing listening and oral interpretation programs for translation students and trainers.  Key words: oral interpretation, listening processing, knowledge, perception

This research aims to know how the relation of primary School 050772 Pangkalan Susu. The sample of this research 30 student where 21% taken  of 141 students. This research uses data collection tool in the form of Likert scale. Questioner is compiled based on variabel and tested to  respondent that is not research sample. Data analysis process is conducted by using quantitative approach through three steps, they are: 1. Describing research variabel data. 2. Testing requirements analysis. 3. Testing hypotesis to reveal the relation the relation beetween research variables using correlation analysis technique. Based on data analysis result and testing process, then the conclusion is (1) the school culture has positive relation with student’s character of primary school 050772 Pangkalan Susu. This case is proved that the correlation r (0,504) > r table (0,3061) while the significance is 0,004 < 0,05; (2) the teacher’s example has positive relation with student’s character of primary School 050772 Pangkalan Susu where correlation coeficient r (0,603) > r table (0,3061) with significncy 0,006, it is fewer than 0,05; (3) School Culture and teacher’s example has positive ration with student’s character of primary school 050772 Pangkalan Susu where correlation coefisiency r (0,662) > r table (0,3061), testing result F shows that F count (10,506) > F table (3,35) while significancy < 0,05 that is 0,000. Based on the research above, it can be stated that student’s character can be formed through school culture and teacher ’s example.

This research aims to develop a “human interaction board” teaching media for thematic teaching in the fifth grade of State Elementary School 3 Madusari, Prambanan, Sleman. This is a research and development study which uses Borg and Gall’s development procedures. A development which uses these procedures involves 9 stages, namely research and data collection, planning, initial product development, initial field try out, product revision, operational field try out, and final product revision. The population of this research are all fifth grade students of State Elementary School 3 Madusari, Prambanan, Sleman, there were 22 students. The research samples include all the population. The data collection was conducted by means of questionnaires, observations, and interviews with the class teacher and five students to determine the situation during the teaching process. The data analysis used a descriptive quantitative technique. The research results show that the human interaction board teaching media developed based on Borg and Gall’s development procedures was feasible to be used. This is based on the score percentage achieved from the validator and the students. Material validation results percentage from the lecturer showed a score of 80% with a criterion of feasible to be used. Material validation result percentage from the class teacher showed a score of 83.33% with a criterion of feasible to be used. Media validation results percentage from the lecturer showed a score of 77.33% with a criterion of feasible to be used. Media validation result percentage from the class teacher showed a score of 82.66% with a criterion of feasible to be used. Students scoring percentage achieved during a limited test showed 93% with a criterion of feasible to be used. During a field try out showed 94% with a criterion of feasible to be used. Operational field try out showed 94% with a criterion of feasible to be used.
